24
00:01:43.319 --> 00:01:45.840
Good morning, Alex, what do you got for Houston's headlines?
25
00:01:45.879 --> 00:01:46.680
Good morning everyone.
26
00:01:46.760 --> 00:01:49.799
President Trump announced yesterday he's giving US car makers a
27
00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:53.200
break on his twenty five percent tariffs. After major automakers
28
00:01:53.200 --> 00:01:55.959
like GM and Ford warned the tariffs on vehicles from
29
00:01:55.959 --> 00:01:59.519
Mexico and Canada who'd hurt American factories, Trump agreed to
30
00:01:59.519 --> 00:02:02.400
give rebanate on those fees for two years. The idea
31
00:02:02.439 --> 00:02:04.599
is to give the companies time to move production back
32
00:02:04.599 --> 00:02:06.920
to the United States. Trump is still pushing a tough
33
00:02:06.959 --> 00:02:09.879
trade stance, including a possible two hundred percent tariff on
34
00:02:10.120 --> 00:02:15.680
Chinese made cars built in Mexico. Amazon confirmed yesterday that
35
00:02:15.680 --> 00:02:18.919
it will not display tariff charges on its site after
36
00:02:19.000 --> 00:02:21.800
backlash from the White House. The company had reportedly considered
37
00:02:21.800 --> 00:02:25.639
listing import fees on certain products to provide transparency about
38
00:02:25.639 --> 00:02:28.639
pricing increases due to the new tariffs. However, Jeff Bezos
39
00:02:28.680 --> 00:02:31.360
told President Trump yesterday that the idea was never approved
40
00:02:31.360 --> 00:02:34.240
and will not be implemented. Amazon clarified that the idea
41
00:02:34.280 --> 00:02:37.599
was only considered for its haul program, which competes with
42
00:02:37.719 --> 00:02:41.400
low cost retailers like Timu and Sheen, and was never
43
00:02:41.479 --> 00:02:43.879
intended for its main site. The company emphasized that no
44
00:02:44.000 --> 00:02:46.439
changes have been made to any of its platforms regarding
45
00:02:46.520 --> 00:02:52.280
the tariff changes. The government admitted that the Navy lost
46
00:02:52.599 --> 00:02:55.759
a really expensive fighter jet after it slipped off a
47
00:02:55.800 --> 00:02:59.120
moving aircraft carrier last week. The jet was worth between
48
00:02:59.280 --> 00:03:02.080
sixty and seven twenty million dollars and the Navy says
49
00:03:02.120 --> 00:03:04.800
that it was an F eighteen Super Hornet fighter jet
50
00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:05.479
and then it.
51
00:03:05.479 --> 00:03:07.520
Rolled off the USS Harry S.
52
00:03:07.560 --> 00:03:10.319
Truman after the ship reportedly came under fire from hoothy
53
00:03:10.400 --> 00:03:11.719
rebels from Yemen.
54
00:03:11.960 --> 00:03:13.599
So now the jet just sits at the bottom of
55
00:03:13.599 --> 00:03:14.199
the Red Sea.
56
00:03:14.280 --> 00:03:17.199
One sailor suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident,
57
00:03:17.199 --> 00:03:20.479
but thankfully there were no other injuries. Just sixty to
58
00:03:20.520 --> 00:03:25.520
seventy million dollars gone ouch sale. Later, right over the side,
59
00:03:26.240 --> 00:03:29.080
a brawl broke out at a Beyonce concert on the
60
00:03:29.120 --> 00:03:31.919
opening night of her Calgary Carter tour in La Fans
61
00:03:31.919 --> 00:03:34.360
were caught on cameras shoving and kicking each other after
62
00:03:34.400 --> 00:03:37.280
an argument turned violent in the vip area of Sofi
63
00:03:37.319 --> 00:03:42.400
Stadium in Inglewood, California on Monday night, sant Texas. It's California,
64
00:03:42.439 --> 00:03:45.400
and in California they brawl. Apparently TMC's got the video.
65
00:03:45.800 --> 00:03:47.560
Chile's putting that up on linksin. I haven't got a.
66
00:03:47.599 --> 00:03:49.919
Chance to check it out yet, but I'm going to.
67
00:03:51.879 --> 00:03:55.479
Dave Grohl surprise attendees at a Los Angeles school benefit
68
00:03:55.479 --> 00:03:58.639
fundraiser with a set of cover performances. The event featured
69
00:03:58.919 --> 00:04:02.520
Gorole delivering rendition of Queen and David Bowie's under Pressure
70
00:04:02.840 --> 00:04:05.199
LCD sound Systems New York. I Love You but You're
71
00:04:05.199 --> 00:04:09.240
Bringing Me Down and the Knacks My Sharona. This is
72
00:04:09.240 --> 00:04:12.319
a like the most random three songs you could probably
73
00:04:12.319 --> 00:04:14.280
put together on a cover set, but I like that.
74
00:04:14.759 --> 00:04:16.879
He was joined on stage by Luke Spiller and friend
75
00:04:16.920 --> 00:04:20.120
of the show from The Struts, and singer Lisa Lobe.
76
00:04:20.120 --> 00:04:22.079
It was all part of a fundraiser for a local
77
00:04:22.120 --> 00:04:25.439
school in the area. Those are Houston's headlines.
78
00:04:25.480 --> 00:04:27.879
I played to you re Lisa Lobe's song on the
79
00:04:27.879 --> 00:04:31.720
show yesterday. He did nineties soundtracks right from Reality Bites
80
00:04:31.800 --> 00:04:33.959
Yep for the movie Really Get that One. That's right.
81
00:04:35.120 --> 00:04:36.199
Astros are on.
82
00:04:36.160 --> 00:04:39.160
Fire, very hot, right now. They got another win last night,
83
00:04:39.199 --> 00:04:41.240
they beat the Tigers six to four, so there's sixteen
84
00:04:41.279 --> 00:04:43.519
and thirteen on the year so far. They wrap up
85
00:04:43.519 --> 00:04:45.720
their series with the Tigers this afternoon. AJ blue Ball
86
00:04:45.759 --> 00:04:47.360
is going to be on the mound for the Stros.
87
00:04:47.399 --> 00:04:49.839
He's going to be going up against Detroit Jackson. Jobi
88
00:04:50.120 --> 00:04:51.839
first pitches at one ten. You could listen to it
89
00:04:51.879 --> 00:04:54.120

tonight at the Toyota Center.
93
00:05:02.920 --> 00:05:05.879
It's do or die for the Rockets. They're down three
94
00:05:05.920 --> 00:05:06.800
to one in the series.
95
00:05:06.879 --> 00:05:08.720

96
00:05:08.759 --> 00:05:11.040

Chili has them on links and guests. You can get
122
00:06:30.839 --> 00:06:32.639
to them on the mainframe at the buzz dot com.
123
00:06:32.639 --> 00:06:34.839
That's spent like an hour and a half looking at stuff.
124
00:06:34.879 --> 00:06:35.000
There.
125
00:06:35.079 --> 00:06:36.240
Did you today?
126
00:06:36.439 --> 00:06:37.959
Today's my day that I'm going to really kind of
127
00:06:37.959 --> 00:06:40.759
get after it. I started. I started a couple of
128
00:06:40.800 --> 00:06:44.680
days ago and I'm like, most people are going in
129
00:06:44.720 --> 00:06:47.040
alphabetical order. It seems to be easier, and I'm making
130
00:06:47.040 --> 00:06:49.319
my notes and everything. Man, there's some good music out there.
131
00:06:49.480 --> 00:06:51.399
Let's trying to rank stuff. And then I'd be like, well,
132
00:06:51.439 --> 00:06:53.079
I don't know, do I like them better than them?
133
00:06:53.079 --> 00:06:54.399
And then I'd go back and look again.
134
00:06:54.759 --> 00:06:58.879
Yeah. So there's some wicked talent here in Houston, and
135
00:06:58.920 --> 00:07:00.720
one band's going to get to bring on Buzzfest and
136
00:07:00.720 --> 00:07:04.000
it's going to be determined heavily by your vote. So
137
00:07:04.040 --> 00:07:06.120
make sure you long on and get your vote in there.
138
00:07:06.120 --> 00:07:10.160
So yeah, very very busy today. Phones are ringing.
139
00:07:14.399 --> 00:07:17.079
It's that time for the first.
140
00:07:17.319 --> 00:07:18.639
Good Morning rod Ryan show.
141
00:07:20.600 --> 00:07:20.800
Well, and.
142
00:07:22.399 --> 00:07:24.480
Who's this usual?
143
00:07:26.120 --> 00:07:28.680
You're the guy that was on my Uh was I
144
00:07:28.839 --> 00:07:31.879
on your flight to Vegas to go see ac DC?
145
00:07:32.920 --> 00:07:34.519
Yes, sir, yes, sir, that is me.
146
00:07:34.759 --> 00:07:37.800
That is me all right. First of all, Israel is
147
00:07:37.800 --> 00:07:42.519
a huge Raiders fan. How did you become a Raiders fan? Man?
148
00:07:42.560 --> 00:07:45.000
I've been a Raiders fan since the seventies and we'll
149
00:07:45.040 --> 00:07:46.000
watch them growing up.
150
00:07:46.199 --> 00:07:47.759
They just had that look that you want to be
151
00:07:47.800 --> 00:07:50.639
a Raiders fan. I know their marketing is great. And
152
00:07:50.680 --> 00:07:52.360
then when you go to the airport in Vegas now
153
00:07:52.399 --> 00:07:56.399
alex Or everywhere you look, in every casino, everything, Raiders
154
00:07:56.439 --> 00:07:58.800
gear everywhere. They're so excited that they're so excited to
155
00:07:58.839 --> 00:08:01.240
have a football team there and the Raiders gear.
156
00:08:01.759 --> 00:08:04.000
It is cool. There's no doubt about it. It is awesome.
157
00:08:04.319 --> 00:08:06.519
So yeah, weeah, we got it. We got a club here.
158
00:08:06.560 --> 00:08:08.560
We got a club here called Stace City, Rador Nation.
159
00:08:08.759 --> 00:08:11.800
We do backpack drives also we drive.
160
00:08:12.279 --> 00:08:14.759
We're just with the community too. So a couple of things.
161
00:08:15.839 --> 00:08:17.920
We said hi to one another on the flight. You
162
00:08:18.279 --> 00:08:21.000
had already seen ac DC. That was your second time
163
00:08:21.040 --> 00:08:24.399
seeing them in Vegas. You went to the Dallas show, right, No, No,
164
00:08:24.480 --> 00:08:26.360
I went to Power Trip. Oh that's it. You went
165
00:08:26.399 --> 00:08:27.759
to Power Trip to go see them. That was the
166
00:08:27.759 --> 00:08:29.959
one where the Tool and all the metal bands were playing.
167
00:08:30.839 --> 00:08:31.680
Yes, sir, yes, sir.
168
00:08:31.800 --> 00:08:33.879
Okay, So this is your second time.
169
00:08:34.519 --> 00:08:36.320
How how would you rank because that was their first
170
00:08:36.320 --> 00:08:38.919
show back together in years, that Power Trip show. How
171
00:08:38.919 --> 00:08:41.480
would you rank the Vegas show against their first show
172
00:08:41.480 --> 00:08:44.519
back at Power Trip. I will say it was a
173
00:08:44.519 --> 00:08:46.960
little bit better because the Power Trip.
174
00:08:46.720 --> 00:08:49.919
One, you know, they was like not last minute, but
175
00:08:49.919 --> 00:08:52.399
they didn't have too many gigs under their shirt you
176
00:08:52.480 --> 00:08:54.360
go in the past three years and then this one
177
00:08:54.440 --> 00:08:54.720
right here.
178
00:08:54.799 --> 00:08:55.639
I think they killed it.
179
00:08:55.720 --> 00:08:58.679
Man, So this was the dude, Alex, I was telling you,
180
00:08:59.799 --> 00:09:02.559
so Brandon is you never sent me that picture. Nobody
181
00:09:02.559 --> 00:09:05.720
ever sends me the pictures today. Nobody ever sends the
182
00:09:05.720 --> 00:09:08.279
pictures that we take together. I even told you, I'm like, bro,
183
00:09:08.360 --> 00:09:10.000
you got to email me that picture. You never did.
184
00:09:10.799 --> 00:09:15.120
But you were wearing an ACDC T shirt, Alex. I
185
00:09:15.159 --> 00:09:18.919
told you at Mandalaid Bay, the pop up store two
186
00:09:18.960 --> 00:09:21.000
and a half hour weight. We talked to people in
187
00:09:21.080 --> 00:09:22.960
line Hall and I talk to people in line two
188
00:09:23.039 --> 00:09:25.120
and a half hour. Weaight to get into the store
189
00:09:25.399 --> 00:09:28.519
to buy a T shirt, to buy a sixty dollars
190
00:09:28.559 --> 00:09:30.799
T shirt, were then giving them away, Alex, That's why
191
00:09:30.840 --> 00:09:32.559
you waited two and a half hours. People waited in
192
00:09:32.600 --> 00:09:34.720
line to buy a shirt and spend lots of money on.
193
00:09:34.879 --> 00:09:38.000
So Israel's wearing this badass shirt. It is a Vegas
194
00:09:38.080 --> 00:09:42.480
specific shirt, which I thought was very very cool. And
195
00:09:42.600 --> 00:09:44.960
you said that you bought it at the concert. How
196
00:09:44.960 --> 00:09:48.399
long did you wait in line for that? Thirty forty minutes?
197
00:09:48.480 --> 00:09:50.519
Deadline was moving, man, it was a long line, but
198
00:09:50.559 --> 00:09:51.519
deadline was moving.
199
00:09:52.159 --> 00:09:57.120
Damn it waited. So hang on a second. So Israel's
200
00:09:57.120 --> 00:09:59.879
wearing this really cool shirt. A girlfriend gets on her phone,
201
00:10:00.240 --> 00:10:01.799
she takes a picture of it. She gets on her phone.
202
00:10:01.799 --> 00:10:04.159
Boom boom, boom boo boom. Fifty dollars later, she orders
203
00:10:04.159 --> 00:10:08.039
four shirts for Mama cash hands. So she dude, I
204
00:10:08.039 --> 00:10:09.279
don't know if I told you. She was able to
205
00:10:09.279 --> 00:10:11.159
find him online. So she did buy the shirts.
206
00:10:11.840 --> 00:10:13.360
But I remember you showed you told me that it
207
00:10:13.399 --> 00:10:14.840
was one hundred and fifty dollars.
208
00:10:15.159 --> 00:10:16.480
Oh, we saw one on eBay.
209
00:10:16.559 --> 00:10:17.120
That's what I did.
210
00:10:17.159 --> 00:10:19.360
That's look the first the first one that came up,
211
00:10:19.399 --> 00:10:21.080
the shirt that you were wearing, The first one that
212
00:10:21.159 --> 00:10:25.360
came up on eBay. Some either jackass or super smart
213
00:10:25.360 --> 00:10:27.879
person had it up on eBay for one hundred and
214
00:10:27.919 --> 00:10:31.159
fifty bucks. I'm like, damn, I'm like, broke.
215
00:10:31.559 --> 00:10:33.120
You can go sell that shirt right now?
216
00:10:33.159 --> 00:10:35.000
All right? Are you gonna email me the picture of
217
00:10:35.000 --> 00:10:38.639
you and I Yes, sir, yes, right now? All right?
218
00:10:38.679 --> 00:10:40.360
Rod at the buzz dot com. Dude, good to hear
219
00:10:40.360 --> 00:10:41.799
from you, man, It was great traveling with you a
220
00:10:41.799 --> 00:10:46.399
little bit. Thank you, brother. Gotta take a break, let
221
00:10:46.440 --> 00:10:49.519
me come back and a rerec check for you. We'll
222
00:10:49.519 --> 00:10:51.240
find out which trending and we'll get set up for
223
00:10:51.279 --> 00:10:52.240
the Fresh Out of Bed.
224
00:10:52.279 --> 00:10:56.559
Houston, Rock Houston's Alternative and Home at The Rod Ryan
225
00:10:56.639 --> 00:10:58.679
Morning Show ninety four five, The.
226
00:10:58.639 --> 00:11:05.200
Buzz A Ride, Welcome Back Everybody, wild Card Wednesday six eighteen.
227
00:11:05.360 --> 00:11:08.000
Cloudy sky is expected for most of today, up to
228
00:11:08.039 --> 00:11:14.360
a twenty percent chance of rain mid eighties. Come on, okay,
229
00:11:14.399 --> 00:11:17.080
Alex P. What do you see that's trending over there?
230
00:11:17.399 --> 00:11:18.799
Amazon is trending.
231
00:11:19.120 --> 00:11:24.080
They announced they are not going to include tariff charging
232
00:11:24.120 --> 00:11:28.240
increases or tariff charges on their website.
233
00:11:27.720 --> 00:11:30.440
After backlash in the White House, which leads me to.
234
00:11:30.440 --> 00:11:33.960
Believe is Sheen and TMU are they putting that on there?
235
00:11:34.039 --> 00:11:37.000
I could see that because the Chinese companies, so they're
236
00:11:37.039 --> 00:11:39.120
like they basically was just be like, oh, this is
237
00:11:39.159 --> 00:11:41.200
seven dollars now it used to be three dollars, but
238
00:11:41.240 --> 00:11:44.399
because of the tariffs, there's a four dollars tariff increase.
239
00:11:44.600 --> 00:11:46.480
I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there that does
240
00:11:46.480 --> 00:11:48.440
a lot of online shopping. Are you seeing this somewhere?
241
00:11:48.480 --> 00:11:50.360
Give me, give me somewhere to go look so I
242
00:11:50.360 --> 00:11:52.919
can see an example. Amazon is not going to do it.
243
00:11:53.240 --> 00:11:58.840
We talked about was it waffle House put they put
244
00:11:58.879 --> 00:12:01.919
on their menu of fifty cent charge per agg now charge? Yeah,
245
00:12:01.960 --> 00:12:04.879
and it was listed on the menu. So Amazon's not
246
00:12:04.919 --> 00:12:08.240
going to do it all right? What else is trending? UPS?
247
00:12:08.320 --> 00:12:11.399
Layoffs? UPS is reportedly cutting twenty thousand jobs after a
248
00:12:11.440 --> 00:12:17.000
reduction in Amazon shipment. So they were partially delivering Amazon packages.
249
00:12:17.039 --> 00:12:20.000
Now that deals kind of over, and I guess Amazon's
250
00:12:20.080 --> 00:12:23.080
just focusing more on delivering stuff themselves. So UPS that
251
00:12:23.240 --> 00:12:25.240
sucks that they're they're gonna have to lay off so
252
00:12:25.240 --> 00:12:25.759
many people.
253
00:12:26.039 --> 00:12:27.480
I know, we have a lot of people that work
254
00:12:27.519 --> 00:12:29.679
at UPS and listen to us. I hope you're not affected.
255
00:12:29.759 --> 00:12:33.559
Yeah, me too. And then Yiannis attentive Coupo is trending.
256
00:12:33.759 --> 00:12:38.399
The Bucks forward and Center was in an altercation with
257
00:12:39.320 --> 00:12:43.320
Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton's father yesterday after the Pacers knocked
258
00:12:43.360 --> 00:12:46.000
the Bucks out of the playoffs. Tyrese Haliburton later said like, yeah,
259
00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:47.440
I don't know what my dad was doing. That was
260
00:12:47.440 --> 00:12:48.919
out of line. He should not have done that.
261
00:12:48.960 --> 00:12:51.600
Oh, this wasn't the cart a game.
262
00:12:51.679 --> 00:12:53.399
Yeah, he came down to the court, got in his face.
263
00:12:53.559 --> 00:12:55.600
And then it was a very like gianness intented. Coop
264
00:12:55.720 --> 00:12:57.679
was a very big man. I would not want to know.
265
00:12:58.000 --> 00:12:58.480
Go at him.
266
00:12:58.519 --> 00:13:00.000
But yeah, that's just trending on night. Provide the butt.
267
00:13:01.360 --> 00:13:04.679
Alright, I'm hoping this victory speech works.
268
00:13:04.919 --> 00:13:07.519
Good morning everybody. It's the Cinderella story.
269
00:13:07.600 --> 00:13:07.919
Kyle.
270
00:13:08.519 --> 00:13:10.840
I am. You're fresh out of bed head to head
271
00:13:10.879 --> 00:13:13.799
two day champions. Join me on Wednesday when I make
272
00:13:13.840 --> 00:13:15.480

273
00:13:15.720 --> 00:13:19.840
All right, if you think you can beat this guy
274
00:13:19.960 --> 00:13:23.399
seven one three two one two five.
275
00:13:22.720 --> 00:13:25.399
You're listening to The rod Ryan Show on ninety four
276
00:13:25.519 --> 00:13:27.960
five the bus.
277
00:13:28.000 --> 00:13:32.000
There we go, rand Name, ninety four to five the bus.
278
00:13:32.039 --> 00:13:34.919
Good morning, rod Ryan Show. Always a smile on my face,
279
00:13:34.919 --> 00:13:37.559
will be sneaking a little offspring. Pretty fly for a
280
00:13:37.559 --> 00:13:43.360
white dude. Six twenty four. Cloudy skies today and tonight.
281
00:13:43.840 --> 00:13:46.360
Twenty percent chance of rain throughout the day, high of
282
00:13:46.440 --> 00:13:47.279
eighty five.
283
00:13:48.000 --> 00:13:49.039
Kyle's ready to go.
284
00:13:50.159 --> 00:13:55.320
Somebody calling in, it says a lot of people calling in. Uh, okay,
285
00:13:55.360 --> 00:13:56.360
we got somebody to play him.
286
00:13:56.639 --> 00:13:56.960
Go in.
287
00:13:57.120 --> 00:13:59.960
Now It's time for the fresh out of bed head
288
00:14:00.080 --> 00:14:01.080
to head challenge.
289
00:14:01.600 --> 00:14:07.159
Listeners to your corners. Okay, Kyle, good morning, Good morning,
290
00:14:07.320 --> 00:14:11.399
your little Cinderella story continues. Huh yes, sir, all right,
291
00:14:11.440 --> 00:14:13.120
what are we doing here? You're going for win number three?
292
00:14:14.240 --> 00:14:14.519
Yep?
293
00:14:14.799 --> 00:14:17.480
Okay, this is where we find out if you're for real. Yeah,
294
00:14:17.840 --> 00:14:20.799
you know, you get the Cinderella story game. Boom, everybody.
295
00:14:21.000 --> 00:14:24.759
Everybody heard that, and then okay, guy won a second game.
296
00:14:24.840 --> 00:14:27.840
He's got it in him. This is where you show
297
00:14:27.919 --> 00:14:32.600
us what you got. Kyle, all right, all right, Mark says,
298
00:14:33.039 --> 00:14:36.679
it stops with him. Hi, Mark, Hey, we're going Oh
299
00:14:36.759 --> 00:14:43.039
hi Mark, Mark, it's been a while, Chilli says, it's
300
00:14:43.080 --> 00:14:44.480
been a long time since you play. Where are these
301
00:14:44.480 --> 00:14:47.919
people coming from? Where have you been? It's been a
302
00:14:47.960 --> 00:14:51.440
hard time getting in, man, is it? Chili? Is he
303
00:14:51.519 --> 00:14:54.879
not picking up? He's not answered for me. He's not.
304
00:14:55.480 --> 00:14:57.320
He doesn't like you, he told me. He's like, I
305
00:14:57.360 --> 00:14:58.039
don't like that. Mark.
306
00:14:58.120 --> 00:14:59.279
Huh uh.
307
00:15:00.080 --> 00:15:03.039
Has it really been over a year since you played? Yes,
308
00:15:03.120 --> 00:15:04.840
there's been a probably about two years.
309
00:15:05.320 --> 00:15:06.399
Two years.
310
00:15:07.399 --> 00:15:11.120
Appreciate that, dude, you deserve better. Okay, I don't know
311
00:15:11.159 --> 00:15:13.840
if truly heard that. This guy listens every day. We've
312
00:15:13.840 --> 00:15:15.440
been trying to call for two years. Well let's give
313
00:15:15.480 --> 00:15:18.559
him one of these. Oh him, Mark Okay, welcome back. Mark,
314
00:15:19.279 --> 00:15:20.960
shout out your name when you think you know the answer.
315
00:15:21.000 --> 00:15:23.120
You need two correct answers to win the tickets to
316
00:15:23.159 --> 00:15:26.679
go see Pierce the Mail. I can't hear you tour
317
00:15:27.240 --> 00:15:30.799
sleeping with sirens and beach weather. So it's a pretty
318
00:15:30.799 --> 00:15:33.639
great ticket. Mark. It would be a nice welcome home.
319
00:15:33.840 --> 00:15:39.480
You know, ready, Okay, says he's ready. Kyle, You ready, Yes, sir, Okay.
320
00:15:39.480 --> 00:15:41.039
Shout out your name when you think you know the answer.
321
00:15:41.080 --> 00:15:44.200
Here comes your questions, Alex, don't answer. He's not for you.
322
00:15:45.000 --> 00:15:47.320
These are for Kyle and Mark. Shout out your name,
323
00:15:47.440 --> 00:15:53.480
Mark and Kyle. Question number one, What sport has end
324
00:15:53.559 --> 00:15:54.639
zones and touchdowns?
325
00:15:56.240 --> 00:15:59.759
Kyle? Football? Yeah, it's our.
326
00:16:00.120 --> 00:16:02.600
Alex, not that stuff that you keep talking about over
327
00:16:02.679 --> 00:16:06.360
the over the pond. It's soccer.
328
00:16:07.120 --> 00:16:07.879
I call it soccer.
329
00:16:07.960 --> 00:16:12.799
That's okay, good, All right, here we go. Mark, you
330
00:16:13.440 --> 00:16:18.480
right behind him, little rusty, Little rusty. It's okay. You
331
00:16:18.480 --> 00:16:24.720
got to get in there on this one though. Here
332
00:16:24.720 --> 00:16:30.200
comes your question, according to a popular saying, what do
333
00:16:30.320 --> 00:16:32.679
April showers bring in May? Mark?
334
00:16:32.919 --> 00:16:41.600
Kyle, Mark Flowers, welcome back to the game. Flowers. He
335
00:16:41.720 --> 00:16:44.679
got you, Kyle, yep, you got you.
336
00:16:46.039 --> 00:16:49.639
I don't think I even knew that one. Anyways, you're
337
00:16:49.679 --> 00:16:53.240
not familiar with April showers bring May flowers? Mm hmmm,
338
00:16:55.399 --> 00:16:57.639
where do you live? Where do you live?
339
00:16:57.679 --> 00:16:57.919
Kyle?
340
00:16:59.480 --> 00:17:02.080
Cypress? Okay, well then all right, I'll give you a pass.
341
00:17:04.160 --> 00:17:10.200
The Cypressens aren't big on the April shommers and the mayflowers. Cypressites.
342
00:17:10.680 --> 00:17:14.880
Here we go for the wind. Come on, Mark and Kyle.
343
00:17:15.720 --> 00:17:21.039
Here's your question. What round object orbits.
344
00:17:20.680 --> 00:17:22.480
The earth and is visible at?
345
00:17:24.480 --> 00:17:25.799
Mark? Got him just a second floor?
346
00:17:26.440 --> 00:17:27.200
You got Mark on that?
347
00:17:27.640 --> 00:17:37.240
Mark the moon show me the moon. Yle is out.
348
00:17:40.839 --> 00:17:47.079
You guys get the moon in Cypress. Yep, he's not.
349
00:17:48.559 --> 00:17:48.920
Dude.
350
00:17:49.480 --> 00:17:53.039
He got you. He got you just I'm telling you.
351
00:17:53.119 --> 00:17:55.799
He just edged you out. Kyle, you were fun. Man.
352
00:17:55.839 --> 00:17:58.799
I hope you call back, all right, I will definite.
353
00:17:59.200 --> 00:18:05.319
All right, bro, work on some of those old sayings. Hey, Mark, Yeah,
354
00:18:05.359 --> 00:18:08.839
after two years you showed us a little something there.
355
00:18:09.119 --> 00:18:10.960
Great game today? You want to play tomorrow?
356
00:18:12.000 --> 00:18:12.200
Heck?
357
00:18:12.279 --> 00:18:12.440
Yeah?
358
00:18:12.519 --> 00:18:12.720
Man?
359
00:18:12.880 --> 00:18:15.759
All right, and for your first win in two years,
360
00:18:15.759 --> 00:18:18.119
pierced the veil tickets are headed your way. You can
361
00:18:18.200 --> 00:18:20.119
keep adding, you can keep adding to your prizes like
362
00:18:20.119 --> 00:18:23.119
the next four days. Okay, I'm ready, way to go.
363
00:18:23.319 --> 00:18:26.880
Welcome home by We don't need your attitude. We have
364
00:18:26.960 --> 00:18:30.240
one of our own story The Rod Ryan Show on
365
00:18:30.440 --> 00:18:37.720
ninety four The Buzz, Come on, come on ninety four
366
00:18:37.799 --> 00:18:41.720
or five the Buzz. Good morning, rod Ryan's Show. That's
367
00:18:41.799 --> 00:18:49.000
three days, Grace, it's six point thirty two wild Card Wednesday.
368
00:18:49.480 --> 00:18:53.039
You said you were talking about Amazon in your Houston
369
00:18:53.079 --> 00:18:56.119
headlines and in trending, so it is a big story.
370
00:18:56.160 --> 00:18:59.240
Amazon is saying that they are not going to list
371
00:18:59.480 --> 00:19:04.920
specific price increases because of the tariff. Due to tariffs,
372
00:19:04.960 --> 00:19:10.359
this now cost this. I asked people if they saw
373
00:19:10.400 --> 00:19:13.240
it on websites. Matt says, well, listen the terror stuff
374
00:19:13.240 --> 00:19:15.119
that you're talking about. I've seen it so far from
375
00:19:15.160 --> 00:19:18.759
my vendors. He works in construction safety and the things
376
00:19:18.759 --> 00:19:21.960
that he's ordered. He said, I've gotten a quote due
377
00:19:21.960 --> 00:19:25.119
to tariff's message from them saying prices have increased. He
378
00:19:25.200 --> 00:19:27.720
said he's loving the show this morning. I did go
379
00:19:27.759 --> 00:19:33.000
to Timu dot com and I just looked at I
380
00:19:33.200 --> 00:19:36.440
see as a premium butcher knife set, Japanese cleaver X
381
00:19:36.519 --> 00:19:39.480
style Viking chopper. This is kind of stuff I look at.
382
00:19:40.240 --> 00:19:44.720
High carbon steel ideal for me camping barbecue with the sheath.
383
00:19:45.759 --> 00:19:48.880
It's thirty six dollars. It's almost sold out. Says it's
384
00:19:48.920 --> 00:19:51.000
twenty three percent off right now. So there is no
385
00:19:51.119 --> 00:19:55.480
mention of tariff on that particular piece of cutlery. Okay,
386
00:19:56.079 --> 00:19:58.400
I told you I bought a couple of I bought
387
00:19:58.440 --> 00:20:03.200
a couple of big chopping knives, samurai sword. I forgot
388
00:20:03.200 --> 00:20:05.319
what they were. Hells laughing at me, dude, carbon steel.
389
00:20:05.319 --> 00:20:07.880
They were cheap. I know they're not good. I know
390
00:20:07.920 --> 00:20:08.680
they're not good, but.
391
00:20:08.640 --> 00:20:10.319
They look so cool awesome.
392
00:20:10.359 --> 00:20:12.279
You see me chopping at home. Dude, I'm a beast.
393
00:20:12.880 --> 00:20:15.359
I'm a beast over there. That's where. That's what I
394
00:20:15.440 --> 00:20:19.240
call you, all right. So I'm sure Alex have be
395
00:20:19.279 --> 00:20:21.160
mentioned in that later on in the show that he's
396
00:20:21.200 --> 00:20:24.799
a beast. We gotta do, champion, this guy might be a.
397
00:20:24.720 --> 00:20:27.599
Beast, a fresh out of bed head to head chute.
398
00:20:28.160 --> 00:20:31.240
Here's your current champion, good and.
399
00:20:31.200 --> 00:20:32.400
Everybody, Mark.
400
00:20:33.960 --> 00:20:37.000
And when I say back on it's been over two years, Philly,
401
00:20:37.720 --> 00:20:39.920
I am your fresh out of bed head to head
402
00:20:40.039 --> 00:20:45.440
one day doing me on Thursday win number two. He's
403
00:20:45.480 --> 00:20:48.119
making sure Chili heard him that. Hey, it's been over
404
00:20:48.160 --> 00:20:51.200
two years. Since I've been on like it's on Chili, Like,
405
00:20:51.319 --> 00:20:53.920
hey Chili, you realize it's been two years since I
406
00:20:53.960 --> 00:21:01.279
played this baseball. I mean, he is the gatekeeper. He's
407
00:21:01.319 --> 00:21:03.119
the guy that gets the people on to play the game.
408
00:21:03.200 --> 00:21:05.920
He's not the call but get through to us.
409
00:21:05.960 --> 00:21:08.160
He's got to answer. They got a call, He's got
410
00:21:08.160 --> 00:21:10.039
an answer. He's got to answer those phones.
411
00:21:10.200 --> 00:21:10.880
All right, let's go.
412
00:21:10.920 --> 00:21:11.359
What do I have?
413
00:21:11.440 --> 00:21:11.559
Oh?
414
00:21:11.559 --> 00:21:13.519
I got some of those ghost tickets coming up for you.
415
00:21:13.880 --> 00:21:17.440
It's got fuck that to the day. We make you
416
00:21:17.519 --> 00:21:20.039
look smart in front of your buddy's it's the fun.
417
00:21:20.559 --> 00:21:27.720
That's the day. There's some fun facts for you today.
418
00:21:29.079 --> 00:21:31.400
This I thought was pretty interesting. I hope you find
419
00:21:31.400 --> 00:21:36.960
it interesting as well. Millions of Americans, including our very
420
00:21:37.000 --> 00:21:39.559
own Bush Family from here in the Houston area, right,
421
00:21:39.599 --> 00:21:45.039
I'm familiar with them, direct descendants of one dude from
422
00:21:45.039 --> 00:21:51.079
the Mayflower who fell overboard and only survived by grabbing
423
00:21:51.160 --> 00:21:57.440
a rope. No rope, no Bush family, and millions of
424
00:21:57.480 --> 00:22:01.119
other Americans one dude may Flow. Is that interesting?
425
00:22:01.480 --> 00:22:03.240
No, you might not even have baked beans.
426
00:22:03.359 --> 00:22:06.279
That guys, not that Bush family, Jackie, the same guy.
427
00:22:07.519 --> 00:22:08.640
No, it's not rolled out.
428
00:22:10.119 --> 00:22:14.279
Okay, maybe it is millions of Americans, one dude on
429
00:22:14.359 --> 00:22:19.200
the Mayflower, all from that ball bag. Ball bag, that's
430
00:22:19.240 --> 00:22:23.400
what I was thinking. Americans eat about twenty percent more
431
00:22:23.519 --> 00:22:26.440
calories than people in Sweden.
432
00:22:26.599 --> 00:22:27.519
That is funny.
433
00:22:30.599 --> 00:22:36.440
That is the equivalent of two whole cheesecakes a week. Wow,
434
00:22:36.680 --> 00:22:38.880
that's how much more we eat than the average person
435
00:22:38.880 --> 00:22:39.440
in Sweden.
436
00:22:39.920 --> 00:22:42.680
All right, how about those sweets.
437
00:22:43.960 --> 00:22:45.920
I didn't know this and I don't know anything about it,
438
00:22:46.000 --> 00:22:47.640
and I am throwing it out there because I hope
439
00:22:47.680 --> 00:22:49.720
somebody can explain it to be the number one eighty seven.
440
00:22:50.319 --> 00:22:51.720
Do you know that the number one eighty seven is
441
00:22:51.720 --> 00:22:54.720
connected connected to murder in any in any way, shape
442
00:22:54.799 --> 00:22:58.079
or form. Yeah, the number one eighty seven became connected
443
00:22:58.119 --> 00:23:02.799
to murder because section one eighty seven of the California
444
00:23:03.200 --> 00:23:11.319
California Penal Code legally defines murder in that section. That's neat. Like,
445
00:23:11.359 --> 00:23:12.680
if I don't get on this fresh out of bed
446
00:23:12.720 --> 00:23:15.240
head to head, we're gonna have a one eighty seven
447
00:23:15.279 --> 00:23:19.279
on our hands. I never heard that reference before. A
448
00:23:19.519 --> 00:23:22.079
seven on MF COP. What is that?
449
00:23:22.480 --> 00:23:24.039
It was a sublime song?
450
00:23:24.480 --> 00:23:27.400
Aha, twenty second nineteen ninety Okay, you're putting it together.
451
00:23:27.480 --> 00:23:29.319
Now I've never heard that reference.
452
00:23:29.519 --> 00:23:33.079
It's the fuck that to the day. We make you
453
00:23:33.119 --> 00:23:36.279
look smart and funny, your buddies, it's the fuck that.
454
00:23:36.440 --> 00:23:37.319
To the day.

00:23:37.640 --> 00:23:43.119

00:23:57.559 --> 00:23:59.640
Let's go to Michelle's fun facts from yesterday. She gave
462
00:23:59.680 --> 00:24:05.359

Hello Alex, what he got for Houston?
535
00:27:35.759 --> 00:27:36.839
Telloh ride?
536
00:27:36.839 --> 00:27:38.200
Good morning, home room.
537
00:27:38.440 --> 00:27:42.559
President Trump announced yesterday he's giving US car makers a
538
00:27:42.880 --> 00:27:45.480
break on his twenty five percent tariffs. After major ridder
539
00:27:45.519 --> 00:27:48.359
makers like GM and Ford warned tariffs and vehicles from
540
00:27:48.359 --> 00:27:51.799
Mexico and Canada could hurt American factories, Trump agreed to
541
00:27:51.799 --> 00:27:54.400
give rebates on those fees for two years The idea
542
00:27:54.440 --> 00:27:56.319
is to give the companies time to move their production
543
00:27:56.440 --> 00:27:58.799
back to the United States. Trump is still pushing a
544
00:27:58.839 --> 00:28:01.759
tough trade stance, including impossible two hundred percent tariff on
545
00:28:01.960 --> 00:28:08.200
Chinese made cars built in Mexico. UPS is making big
546
00:28:08.279 --> 00:28:11.359
changes to its operations. The company's planning to cut approximately
547
00:28:11.400 --> 00:28:14.400
twenty thousand jobs and close seventy three facilities by the
548
00:28:14.440 --> 00:28:17.240
end of June this year. This decision follows a recent
549
00:28:17.319 --> 00:28:19.920
agreement with Amazon to reduce the volume of shipments that
550
00:28:20.039 --> 00:28:23.319
UPS handles for the e commerce giant by over fifty
551
00:28:23.359 --> 00:28:26.119
percent by the second half of next year. Although Amazon
552
00:28:26.160 --> 00:28:30.519
remains UPS's largest customer, CEO Carol tome Now noted that
553
00:28:30.880 --> 00:28:34.119
the business is not the most profitable and described it
554
00:28:34.160 --> 00:28:39.720
as a dilutive to the company's US operations. The clock
555
00:28:39.799 --> 00:28:42.279
is ticking when it comes to Mother's Day gifts, but
556
00:28:42.359 --> 00:28:45.079
he's still haven't shopped for the mom in your life.
557
00:28:45.119 --> 00:28:48.799
We're moms in your life. New research suggests that you
558
00:28:48.880 --> 00:28:52.119
might not have to. A new survey reveals that what
559
00:28:52.400 --> 00:28:55.680
moms really want for Mother's Day this year is a nap.
560
00:28:55.759 --> 00:28:57.480
Oh you're gonna get in trouble on this one. Yeah,
561
00:28:57.519 --> 00:29:00.200
I think they want stuff. I also think that too,
562
00:29:00.359 --> 00:29:03.519
but the nap is important. I think so creating like
563
00:29:03.559 --> 00:29:06.519
a space where they can give them some time. I
564
00:29:06.559 --> 00:29:07.880
still think you got to follow that up with some
565
00:29:07.960 --> 00:29:09.920
flowers or a dinner or something. Moms get hurt.
566
00:29:09.960 --> 00:29:10.559
I agree with you.
567
00:29:10.920 --> 00:29:12.240
Oh, be careful on this advice.
568
00:29:12.359 --> 00:29:15.519
Sandals Resort who I've been to sales Jamaica and no
569
00:29:15.559 --> 00:29:18.039
big deal. They talked to more than six hundred moms
570
00:29:18.039 --> 00:29:22.000
about their wish lists for their special holiday and learned
571
00:29:22.000 --> 00:29:23.799
that sleep was what they wanted most. Fort nine percent
572
00:29:23.799 --> 00:29:26.680
of moms call a nap with no one needing you
573
00:29:27.000 --> 00:29:29.880
the ultimate luxury, and over sixty percent of moms say
574
00:29:29.920 --> 00:29:31.799
that they'd be happy to trade presents for the chance
575
00:29:31.880 --> 00:29:34.039
to sleep. Nearly two thirds of moms say they haven't
576
00:29:34.039 --> 00:29:35.680
had a nap in the last month, and a quarter
577
00:29:35.720 --> 00:29:37.759
of them can't even remember the last time they napped.
578
00:29:37.880 --> 00:29:39.200
So maybe let your mom get a little rest of
579
00:29:39.279 --> 00:29:42.400
mothers they but also get her an actual present along
580
00:29:42.440 --> 00:29:45.240
with that. Hey, here's a gift once you open it
581
00:29:45.319 --> 00:29:46.319
when you when you wake up.
582
00:29:46.519 --> 00:29:51.400
I triple dog dare you to give them a coupon.
583
00:29:51.200 --> 00:29:53.880
It's Mother's Day one for her, it's her first Mother's Day, dude,
584
00:29:53.920 --> 00:29:54.960
I gotta go all out.
585
00:29:55.039 --> 00:29:55.200
Bro.
586
00:29:55.400 --> 00:29:57.119
No, you know I'll be like here, I'm gonna leave
587
00:29:57.160 --> 00:29:59.559
you alone. But here's some gifts you. I wanna say
588
00:29:59.559 --> 00:30:01.519
they care, We're and go do stuff. You have your
589
00:30:01.640 --> 00:30:02.640
you do whatever you want.
590
00:30:02.759 --> 00:30:04.519
All you have to listen to the guy on the
591
00:30:04.599 --> 00:30:07.319
radio just make a coupon and said, good for one nap,
592
00:30:08.039 --> 00:30:09.519
happy mother, Happy first Mother's Day.
593
00:30:09.599 --> 00:30:11.400
I am absolutely not gonna play that game, so I
594
00:30:11.440 --> 00:30:13.559
gotta do all aye. I'll give her the nap.
595
00:30:13.839 --> 00:30:15.440
I'm also to get each other stuff, so I'm not
596
00:30:15.480 --> 00:30:17.720
gonna you better back it up in some wild You
597
00:30:17.759 --> 00:30:19.680
better back it up with some mothers now. Good luck
598
00:30:19.759 --> 00:30:20.240
if you're.
599
00:30:20.119 --> 00:30:22.720
Just giving her nap, especially if you don't live with
600
00:30:22.720 --> 00:30:23.400
your mom anymore.
601
00:30:24.680 --> 00:30:26.599
It's Shelley for Mother's Day. I'm gonna give you a nap.
602
00:30:28.440 --> 00:30:31.480
Carrie Underwood wore a dress on American Idol that she
603
00:30:31.640 --> 00:30:34.000
wore the year that she won season four of the
604
00:30:34.039 --> 00:30:36.720
show twenty years ago. She was twenty two years old
605
00:30:36.759 --> 00:30:38.319
when she wore the dress for the first time. It's
606
00:30:38.319 --> 00:30:41.599
a floey green and orange leopard print dress, and she
607
00:30:41.680 --> 00:30:43.480
brought it back because all of the contestants on the
608
00:30:43.519 --> 00:30:46.799
show were singing songs from past seasons. She's had two
609
00:30:46.920 --> 00:30:49.000
kids since the first time she wore the dress and
610
00:30:49.039 --> 00:30:52.160
still looked amazing. Oh my god, I mean when does
611
00:30:52.240 --> 00:30:56.039
when does she not? She looks amazing, She looks unbelieved.
612
00:30:56.079 --> 00:30:57.200
It's crazy, Hosh.
613
00:30:57.319 --> 00:31:01.359
This was Carrie Underwood that played the company party.
614
00:31:01.440 --> 00:31:05.720
Right. Oh yeah, one point seven or eight million dollars.
615
00:31:05.960 --> 00:31:09.319
You found out about the price source. Yeah, we got
616
00:31:09.359 --> 00:31:12.359
an email and a guy maybe they wanted Garth Brooks.
617
00:31:12.559 --> 00:31:16.319
It was like five mili on Monday. Some guy said, yeah,
618
00:31:16.359 --> 00:31:18.200
my wife's party. They had some kind of one hundred
619
00:31:18.240 --> 00:31:21.319
anniversary for their company and it was a hush hush thing.
620
00:31:21.400 --> 00:31:23.440
We all were standing around. They said, hey, here's your
621
00:31:23.440 --> 00:31:25.680
live entertainment, and Carrie Underwood came walking out.
622
00:31:25.720 --> 00:31:27.079
I have a friend that was like, I was at
623
00:31:27.119 --> 00:31:29.960
that party. That's my company And I was like, what interesting.
624
00:31:30.079 --> 00:31:31.799
And then he got back to me yesterday and said
625
00:31:31.799 --> 00:31:34.240
it was like one point seven or one point eight million.
626
00:31:34.400 --> 00:31:36.720
Pole question, how many of us could fit into something
627
00:31:36.759 --> 00:31:39.519
that we wore twenty years ago today, on this date,
628
00:31:39.599 --> 00:31:41.440
twenty years ago, I still.
629
00:31:41.200 --> 00:31:43.480
Wear so when of the giants win games, I wear
630
00:31:43.519 --> 00:31:45.480
the same shirt that I wore every time they won
631
00:31:45.519 --> 00:31:46.880
when I was in middle school.
632
00:31:47.200 --> 00:31:49.559
I'll say this, I was going to come across as
633
00:31:49.559 --> 00:31:49.880
a brag.
634
00:31:49.920 --> 00:31:53.160
It's okay. It would be way too big. Yeah whatever. Yeah,
635
00:31:53.160 --> 00:31:55.039
whatever I wore twenty years ago today would be way
636
00:31:55.079 --> 00:31:55.359
too big.
637
00:31:55.400 --> 00:31:59.880
I've worn thirty thirty jeans for pretty much in high school.
638
00:32:00.119 --> 00:32:04.839
A thirty waist, yeah, just leave in high school. So
639
00:32:04.880 --> 00:32:06.480
where I'm saying, I will finish the show by myself,
640
00:32:06.480 --> 00:32:07.119
Get out of here.
641
00:32:07.480 --> 00:32:09.559
Two bands in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
642
00:32:09.640 --> 00:32:12.599
class If twenty twenty five are not sure if they're
643
00:32:12.599 --> 00:32:15.799
going to be performing at the induction ceremony. Health issues
644
00:32:15.920 --> 00:32:18.799
might keep bad company watching a tribute by someone else.
645
00:32:19.079 --> 00:32:22.519
Drummer Simon Kirk alluded to strokes suffered by lead singer.
646
00:32:22.240 --> 00:32:24.319
Paul Rodgers and guitarist Mick Ralphs.
647
00:32:24.599 --> 00:32:27.160
There's a rumor going around that Kirk and Rodgers will perform,
648
00:32:27.240 --> 00:32:30.960
though bassist Raymond boss Burrell died back in two thousand
649
00:32:31.000 --> 00:32:33.880
and six. Soundgarden hasn't performed an official show since the
650
00:32:33.920 --> 00:32:36.359
death of Chris Cornell in twenty seventeen. In an interview
651
00:32:36.400 --> 00:32:39.799
with Billboard, guitarist Kim Fayal says that the band needs
652
00:32:39.799 --> 00:32:41.599
to make sure that they're able to provide the proper
653
00:32:41.720 --> 00:32:44.279
reverence for Cornell and the band to make sure that
654
00:32:44.319 --> 00:32:46.559
they're going to pui. I feel like they're both going
655
00:32:46.599 --> 00:32:48.000
to end up doing something. And we already said it
656
00:32:48.000 --> 00:32:51.319
the other day. Cornell's Daughter's gonna sing Wow, proper reverence,
657
00:32:51.359 --> 00:32:51.680
is it not?
658
00:32:53.240 --> 00:32:53.559
I don't know.
659
00:32:53.640 --> 00:32:55.680
Here's your daughter just welcoming you into the Hall of
660
00:32:55.720 --> 00:32:58.200
Fame for some guard You know what you gotta worry about.
661
00:32:58.319 --> 00:33:01.799
The drummer, Matt Cameron is the drummer of Pearl Jam
662
00:33:01.880 --> 00:33:05.079
and they're busy. They're playing this Saturday.
663
00:33:04.319 --> 00:33:06.119
This Friday night like it's the rock and roll Hall
664
00:33:06.160 --> 00:33:06.880
of him. Eddie'll be.
665
00:33:07.200 --> 00:33:10.000
What I'm saying is they probably already have a schedule.
666
00:33:10.240 --> 00:33:13.880
Hopefully they're available, Hopefully he's available and he's free that night.
667
00:33:13.960 --> 00:33:16.920
It's very important that Matt Cameron plays the drums that night.
668
00:33:17.000 --> 00:33:20.599
For Sound Guarden, you need all surviving members, so I
669
00:33:20.599 --> 00:33:23.680
mean his drumming there. His drumming is very important. They
670
00:33:23.720 --> 00:33:26.359
did do a show not that long ago and they
671
00:33:26.359 --> 00:33:29.000
had a chick singing. Remember the first official show. I
672
00:33:29.000 --> 00:33:30.799
think they did pay a one off like, hey, this
673
00:33:30.880 --> 00:33:33.599
is the performance. Yeah, they did something recently that a
674
00:33:33.640 --> 00:33:34.119
chick singing.
675
00:33:34.519 --> 00:33:36.279
Was it like a full show though, or was it
676
00:33:36.400 --> 00:33:37.960
just like if you play a song. I don't think
677
00:33:37.960 --> 00:33:40.559
that considers You can't say you performed, but it's not
678
00:33:40.599 --> 00:33:42.000
a full show unless you're doing a set.
679
00:33:42.119 --> 00:33:43.240
We all want the daughter to sing.
680
00:33:44.079 --> 00:33:46.000
It's the most logical thing we've heard her sing before.
681
00:33:46.079 --> 00:33:49.519
She's amazing, but she's ballady, Okay?
682
00:33:49.599 --> 00:33:51.279
Can she sing spoon Man? Probably?
683
00:33:51.279 --> 00:33:53.680
Like yeah, I would imagine that everybody could pretty much
684
00:33:53.720 --> 00:33:56.559
sing like what your dad did, Like you know your
685
00:33:56.640 --> 00:34:00.240
dad's catalog if you're also a musician, Right, that's my problem.
686
00:34:00.240 --> 00:34:04.799
I sing like my dad. It's awful headline. I think
687
00:34:04.799 --> 00:34:08.519
you're right. All right, let's go Astros will a win
688
00:34:08.639 --> 00:34:09.440
like Jacob.
689
00:34:09.159 --> 00:34:11.719
Nole crushed it and he was singing the bomb songs
690
00:34:11.719 --> 00:34:12.239
when he was there.
691
00:34:12.400 --> 00:34:14.920
Yeah, you're right, I sing just like my dad. Damn it. Dad.
692
00:34:15.320 --> 00:34:17.440
Astro's got another win last night. They beat the Tigers
693
00:34:17.440 --> 00:34:17.960
six to four.
694
00:34:17.960 --> 00:34:20.239

00:34:20.320 --> 00:34:21.880

713
00:35:02.039 --> 00:35:06.559
Don't think we win this series. Wow, They're tough. They're
714
00:35:06.599 --> 00:35:07.920
tough to come back from three to one.
715
00:35:08.119 --> 00:35:12.480
You're tough to come back from. Probably The Rod Ryan
716
00:35:12.559 --> 00:35:18.880

00:35:22.639 --> 00:35:24.920

719
00:35:25.000 --> 00:35:27.280
joining the show, Wakey, wakey, hands off those cupcakes. We're
720
00:35:27.280 --> 00:35:29.599

721
00:35:29.639 --> 00:35:31.960

00:35:31.960 --> 00:35:34.920
and three Music Hall. After the break, we'll get you
723
00:35:34.960 --> 00:35:37.519
started dialing in to win those tickets.
724
00:35:37.840 --> 00:35:39.199
Lincoln Park starts the hour.
725
00:35:39.840 --> 00:35:43.320
Caught up with Radio Wizard on the phone yesterday. You know,
726
00:35:43.519 --> 00:35:45.880
I gotta get I gotta take all the heat for you, guys.
727
00:35:46.199 --> 00:35:48.119
I gotta take the heat for you guys. Okay, I'm
728
00:35:48.119 --> 00:35:51.679
taking grenades every day for you, guys. Say He did
729
00:35:51.679 --> 00:35:53.559
say he went to go see Lincoln Park in Austin
730
00:35:53.599 --> 00:35:56.079
over the weekend, guys, jet setting all over the place.
731
00:35:56.280 --> 00:35:58.679
That's the second time he's seen Lincoln Park with Emily Now.
732
00:36:00.159 --> 00:36:02.360
He said, they're right million time. I know he's seen
733
00:36:02.400 --> 00:36:04.719
him twice. I haven't seen him once yet with this,
734
00:36:05.119 --> 00:36:07.840
with this new lineup. And he kind of backed up
735
00:36:07.880 --> 00:36:10.159
what many people said. He said, there's just something about
736
00:36:10.159 --> 00:36:13.960
Mike Shanoda right now. He is so happy. He is
737
00:36:14.000 --> 00:36:17.400
so smiley on stage. Not that he had no Chester
738
00:36:17.519 --> 00:36:19.719
was his best friend. So I'm not trying to start that.
739
00:36:20.199 --> 00:36:22.400
I'm just saying that he looks so happy to be back,
740
00:36:22.840 --> 00:36:26.880
and he's happy with what Emily's doing. And this the
741
00:36:26.920 --> 00:36:30.800
way that the fans are reacting and everything. A lot
742
00:36:30.840 --> 00:36:33.280
of people have really just said that. Mike Shanoda is
743
00:36:33.360 --> 00:36:37.960
just glowing on stage right now. And he said they
744
00:36:38.000 --> 00:36:39.800
were great. He said they were great. He said the
745
00:36:39.840 --> 00:36:41.440
fans were singing some deeper cuts.
746
00:36:41.920 --> 00:36:42.480
He said, there was.
747
00:36:42.480 --> 00:36:44.000
A lot of young people at the show.
748
00:36:44.119 --> 00:36:49.400
That's good. He had somebody call Friday, their kid's first
749
00:36:49.400 --> 00:36:51.320
show is Lynchad Park. I'm earlier taking him to that.
750
00:36:51.440 --> 00:36:52.039
The girls birthday.
751
00:36:52.039 --> 00:36:54.079
She couldn't get to sign in. Yeah, so it was
752
00:36:54.119 --> 00:36:56.159
her birthday and then even her younger brother it was
753
00:36:56.199 --> 00:36:57.280
their first rock concert.
754
00:36:57.599 --> 00:36:58.280
That's pretty sick.
755
00:36:58.480 --> 00:37:00.880
Yeah, it's awesome. It's so great.
756
00:37:03.440 --> 00:37:05.119
Like a park come to Houston.
757
00:37:05.159 --> 00:37:07.239
Please do it? Please come to Houston.
758
00:37:07.280 --> 00:37:08.239
So I want to see you.
759
00:37:09.599 --> 00:37:11.920
Can we go back? Just I don't want to go back.
760
00:37:11.920 --> 00:37:13.559
I always want to kind of move forward. But those
761
00:37:13.599 --> 00:37:18.639
fun facts today, the one eighty seven associated with murder.
762
00:37:19.360 --> 00:37:22.679
I didn't know where that was going, but apparently it's
763
00:37:22.719 --> 00:37:25.760
the California penal code one eighty seven for murder. And
764
00:37:25.800 --> 00:37:28.320
I said, but I don't know that to be a
765
00:37:28.360 --> 00:37:31.119
big reference. Well, you had mentioned that Sublime had said
766
00:37:31.119 --> 00:37:35.559
it in a song Boy Emails going Crazy, Brother Ron.
767
00:37:35.599 --> 00:37:37.960
If you ever saw the movie Demolition Man with Sylvester Saloone,
768
00:37:37.960 --> 00:37:41.000
Wesley Snipe, Sandra Bullock, they say code one eighty seven
769
00:37:41.519 --> 00:37:44.679
several times in the movie Murdered Death Kill one eighty seven.
770
00:37:44.719 --> 00:37:47.559
Snoop Dogg said it in a dre song way in
771
00:37:47.599 --> 00:37:50.559
Deep Cover, wait before Sublime did. Okay, I'm not surprised
772
00:37:50.559 --> 00:37:54.719
at that. There's a movie, Alex. The movie is called
773
00:37:54.719 --> 00:37:55.519
one eighty seven.
774
00:37:55.679 --> 00:37:59.039
Okay, well, it's song. We don't know all of these movies.
775
00:37:59.280 --> 00:38:01.880
I have not seen every piece of film ever. Samuel
776
00:38:02.039 --> 00:38:04.639
Jackson ever heard of them. There's a movie called one
777
00:38:04.760 --> 00:38:07.519
eighty seven. It's the murder Code all right, Snakes on
778
00:38:07.559 --> 00:38:10.920
a playing a fun facts fun Facts.
779
00:38:12.800 --> 00:38:15.719
April twenty nine, nineteen ninety two was about the Rodney
780
00:38:15.800 --> 00:38:19.239
King riots. That's Sublime singing about even though I think
781
00:38:19.239 --> 00:38:21.000
you happen on April twenty second, nineteen.
782
00:38:20.840 --> 00:38:22.360
Ninety two, Or did they get the date wrong in
783
00:38:22.400 --> 00:38:22.679
the song?
784
00:38:22.800 --> 00:38:24.559
I think so because they say a different date in
785
00:38:24.599 --> 00:38:27.880
the song than they do April twenty six, ninety ninet two.
786
00:38:27.920 --> 00:38:29.800
But the song is called April twenty nineth nineteen ninety two.
787
00:38:29.960 --> 00:38:36.639
Interesting, All right, let me let me go up against
788
00:38:36.639 --> 00:38:39.559
the break here. I do have a maybe the silliest
789
00:38:39.599 --> 00:38:42.039
pole question ever. Well, no, the chuck and chugga chow chow.
790
00:38:42.159 --> 00:38:43.079
Yeah, that was pretty silly.
791
00:38:43.159 --> 00:38:45.840
Chugga chuggy chugga chug chugg it chuggy chugg and chuggy.
792
00:38:45.679 --> 00:38:46.639
Chew's that with the wizard call?
793
00:38:47.119 --> 00:38:48.320
Was You're like, hey, I just want to let you
794
00:38:48.400 --> 00:38:51.920
know doing to the chugger chuggers? Any uh? I want
795
00:38:51.960 --> 00:38:56.400
to talk about that pole question chuggle, the chugg a
796
00:38:56.519 --> 00:38:59.599
choot chew? That was? What the hell was that? That
797
00:38:59.639 --> 00:39:01.960
was dumb than hooker or horse race?
798
00:39:02.199 --> 00:39:02.320
Oh?
799
00:39:02.440 --> 00:39:03.039
Is that coming back?
800
00:39:04.119 --> 00:39:06.760
I don't know. People have been asking for hooker or
801
00:39:06.800 --> 00:39:09.079
horse race. There's a big horse race this weekend.
802
00:39:09.159 --> 00:39:11.199
Yeah, I'm excited for it. The derby.
803
00:39:11.239 --> 00:39:14.039
When you're baking a cake, you might be baking a
804
00:39:14.119 --> 00:39:16.519
cake soon. I don't know. You got Mother's Day. It's
805
00:39:16.559 --> 00:39:17.679
Emma's first Mother's Day.
806
00:39:18.159 --> 00:39:21.559
Yeah, I am very nervous about it. I have plans, okay,
807
00:39:21.679 --> 00:39:23.280
and I don't know if she's on a way to
808
00:39:23.280 --> 00:39:23.639
work here.
809
00:39:23.679 --> 00:39:24.559
No, no, you don't have to say that.
810
00:39:24.920 --> 00:39:27.039
I have plans but like, I'm very nervous about pulling
811
00:39:27.079 --> 00:39:27.559
off everything.
812
00:39:27.599 --> 00:39:29.800
If you were to bake a cake for her, or
813
00:39:29.840 --> 00:39:33.400
your mom famously made a cake when you were going
814
00:39:33.440 --> 00:39:36.840
to prompt, you could make the bunny cakes something somebunny
815
00:39:37.840 --> 00:39:39.960
is excited about your first Mother's Day. I think that
816
00:39:40.000 --> 00:39:42.199
bunny could go. I think that bunny is hey, it plays.
817
00:39:42.280 --> 00:39:43.320
She would have appreciated it.
818
00:39:43.320 --> 00:39:44.719
The girl that I went to problem at that time
819
00:39:44.760 --> 00:39:48.719
did not appreciate it, right, but but she Emma is amazing,
820
00:39:48.760 --> 00:39:50.480
so she would appreciate it, and she'd be like, you
821
00:39:50.480 --> 00:39:51.840
cook a cake for me, thank you.
822
00:39:51.920 --> 00:39:53.840
I feel like the bunny cake is underutilized and it
823
00:39:53.840 --> 00:39:55.480
can be used all year round, even though you hate
824
00:39:55.519 --> 00:39:57.920
on it. No, you hate it on it. I don't
825
00:39:57.960 --> 00:39:58.440
hate on it.
826
00:39:58.480 --> 00:40:00.239
I love it, but you hate it on on it.
827
00:40:00.760 --> 00:40:04.159
Somebunny loved it, and I like bringing it up all
828
00:40:04.199 --> 00:40:06.280
the time that you used that to ask somebody to
829
00:40:06.400 --> 00:40:09.639
prom or whatever or homecoming. If you were to make
830
00:40:09.679 --> 00:40:14.719
a bunny cake, would you top it with icing or frosting?
831
00:40:16.920 --> 00:40:17.679
It's the same thing.
832
00:40:18.880 --> 00:40:22.719
No, you're right because icing is like centamon roal icing.
833
00:40:23.519 --> 00:40:26.840
It's the icing on the cake that's the saying. It's
834
00:40:26.840 --> 00:40:28.519
not the frosting on the cake, Like, oh, that's the
835
00:40:28.719 --> 00:40:30.559
icing on the cake, you know, like when it's this
836
00:40:30.599 --> 00:40:32.519
thing that finishes it off. It's the icing on your
837
00:40:32.599 --> 00:40:36.320
ca Would you ice that cake or would you frost it?
838
00:40:36.440 --> 00:40:39.079
I'm a frosting guy. I put frosting on it. Frosting, Yeah,
839
00:40:39.119 --> 00:40:42.239
I'd put frosting on it. Frosting, Like lick the frosting
840
00:40:42.280 --> 00:40:46.679
off the beat when you're you know, from the blender.
841
00:40:47.239 --> 00:40:50.400
They're not the beater, the mixer's that's what's left over.
842
00:40:50.440 --> 00:40:52.039
You don't put frosting on a beater.
843
00:40:52.639 --> 00:40:54.960
Frosting on a beater. That's the name of an album
844
00:40:55.000 --> 00:40:57.880
from the Posies. I believe frosting on the beacher.
845
00:40:57.920 --> 00:40:59.800
You've done it wrong. Isn't frosting the last thing you
846
00:40:59.800 --> 00:41:01.960
put on? You wouldn't have it on a beater. You'd
847
00:41:02.000 --> 00:41:04.119
have the mix on the beat.
848
00:41:04.199 --> 00:41:08.119
Beat you brought her, you know, you know you make
849
00:41:08.159 --> 00:41:12.159
the cake mix in the in the no, but then
850
00:41:12.199 --> 00:41:13.400
you make the frosting afterwards.
851
00:41:13.400 --> 00:41:15.440
That's the last the beer on in that Like, where
852
00:41:15.440 --> 00:41:18.199
where does the beater touch the frosting You've already.
853
00:41:17.920 --> 00:41:20.280
Done in the bowl.
854
00:41:20.320 --> 00:41:21.840
You put it together, then you cook it. You bake
855
00:41:21.880 --> 00:41:23.360
it and then you put the frosting on top.
856
00:41:24.360 --> 00:41:27.760
Homemade frosting. Bro Oh, you're thinking about taking out of
857
00:41:27.800 --> 00:41:29.320
I see you. You're saying it's off out of a
858
00:41:29.360 --> 00:41:33.440
can for Maade frosting. You licked the frosting off the beat.
859
00:41:34.239 --> 00:41:36.639
Yeah, you put iceing is on a cupcake?
860
00:41:37.119 --> 00:41:38.920
Okay? Oh, now you're getting specific.
861
00:41:38.719 --> 00:41:40.880
Iceing's on a cupcake. That's the pole question today.
862
00:41:40.920 --> 00:41:44.840
It's on the X at rod Ryan Show, Houston's Alternative,
863
00:41:45.039 --> 00:41:46.760
and The Rod Ryan Morning Show.
864
00:41:48.480 --> 00:41:49.039
All Ride.
865
00:41:49.079 --> 00:41:56.440
Welcome back everybody on this wild card Wednesday. Angela who
866
00:41:56.480 --> 00:41:59.400
always listens in Florida on the iHeartRadio app. Thank you.
867
00:41:59.440 --> 00:42:01.840
I appreciate long distance love. Brother Rod.
868
00:42:01.880 --> 00:42:05.840
Your discussion just now with Alex about cake frosting, icing, mixers,
869
00:42:05.840 --> 00:42:09.159
beaters definitely belongs on the Best of the Rod Ryans Show. Oh,
870
00:42:09.199 --> 00:42:13.119
I'm glad you liked it. So when you're making a cake,
871
00:42:13.199 --> 00:42:16.079
do you top it with icing or frosting? Sixty two
872
00:42:16.119 --> 00:42:18.800
percent of our audience icing, thirty seven percent of our
873
00:42:18.840 --> 00:42:22.719
audience frosting. I wonder if it's regional. It might be
874
00:42:22.920 --> 00:42:25.480
you know, pop soda, one of those Yeah, one of
875
00:42:25.519 --> 00:42:30.880
those deals. Cloudy Sky's twenty percent chance of rain high
876
00:42:30.920 --> 00:42:37.159
of eighty five. I'm a frosting guy. What's trending?
877
00:42:37.760 --> 00:42:42.920
Well, Wildcard Wednesday is trending. Gabrielle Ziniga is our wild
878
00:42:42.920 --> 00:42:45.239
Card Wednesday feature and people are checking her out and
879
00:42:45.280 --> 00:42:46.920
talking about her. Can you see her at the World
880
00:42:46.920 --> 00:42:49.440
Finished Rode Ryan showpage at the buzz dot com.
881
00:42:49.480 --> 00:42:50.559
Okay, I'll go take a look.
882
00:42:50.639 --> 00:42:54.039
ANYA playoffs are trending. People talking about the games from
883
00:42:54.119 --> 00:42:56.239
last night. They're getting ready for the games tonight, like
884
00:42:56.360 --> 00:42:59.199
the Rockets taking on the Warriors in Game five. It's
885
00:42:59.199 --> 00:43:01.599
a must win for the Rockets. But yeah, NBA playoffs
886
00:43:01.840 --> 00:43:05.199
are very hot right now. And then this is not
887
00:43:05.239 --> 00:43:12.280
a joke. Seymour Wiener is trending. He's a Mets super
888
00:43:12.320 --> 00:43:14.719
fan that passed away at the age of ninety eight.
889
00:43:14.840 --> 00:43:16.840
He went viral a couple of years ago. They were
890
00:43:16.840 --> 00:43:19.840
honoring military service and.
891
00:43:20.920 --> 00:43:22.800
The dude's real name, Seymour Wiener, his.
892
00:43:23.360 --> 00:43:28.079
Legal name is Seymour Wiener, and he was honored before
893
00:43:28.079 --> 00:43:31.039
a Mets game that obviously goes viral on the internet.
894
00:43:31.199 --> 00:43:33.000
And then when it came out that he passed away,
895
00:43:33.039 --> 00:43:35.480
the Mets honored him last night at their game and
896
00:43:35.480 --> 00:43:35.960
we're like.
897
00:43:36.320 --> 00:43:38.440
His sister was his sister, Cee Lester.
898
00:43:38.679 --> 00:43:41.119
I do not know his sister's name or if he
899
00:43:41.159 --> 00:43:44.000
had his sister because Seymour Wiener rip, that's just training
900
00:43:44.000 --> 00:43:45.480
on night befy the bus right.
901
00:43:46.400 --> 00:43:51.199
I got tickets to Coheed and Cambria taking back Sunday,
902
00:43:51.239 --> 00:43:54.760
September eighth, seven one to three music call called her
903
00:43:54.840 --> 00:43:56.400
number ten seven one three.
904
00:44:00.119 --> 00:44:08.280
Rod Ryan Show on ninety four the Bus, twenty.
905
00:44:08.039 --> 00:44:13.039
Four the buzz. Dave Roll, he's on the music blog page.
906
00:44:13.079 --> 00:44:15.639
I think he's done this over the years though. He
907
00:44:15.719 --> 00:44:17.519
must do some kind of thing. He must be tied
908
00:44:17.559 --> 00:44:20.840
to some school locally in his neighborhood. And he hopped
909
00:44:20.880 --> 00:44:23.800
up there on stage and he did something with Luke
910
00:44:23.840 --> 00:44:26.440
Spiller from the Struts, and they went up there and
911
00:44:26.480 --> 00:44:29.400
did did you say my Sharona was one of the
912
00:44:29.440 --> 00:44:32.960
songs that yeah, an NELCD sound system and they did
913
00:44:33.079 --> 00:44:33.679
under Freshion.
914
00:44:33.800 --> 00:44:35.480
Yeah, really bizarre cover songs.
915
00:44:36.039 --> 00:44:37.880
Boy, you want to talk about making some money that
916
00:44:37.960 --> 00:44:38.960
PTA is rocking.
917
00:44:39.199 --> 00:44:39.840
Yeah.
918
00:44:40.079 --> 00:44:42.559
PTA calls up Dave Roll and he comes out. I
919
00:44:42.559 --> 00:44:44.880
thought my kid, I thought my kid's school. PTA was strong.
920
00:44:45.679 --> 00:44:47.960
You had Dave Roll on the ringer to come out
921
00:44:48.000 --> 00:44:52.880
and perform to raise some funds. They must have the
922
00:44:52.880 --> 00:44:54.039
best playground ever at that.
923
00:44:54.440 --> 00:44:55.079
Yeah, how were they not?
924
00:44:56.320 --> 00:44:58.519
Cloudy's guys today? Twenty percent chance of rain high of
925
00:44:58.559 --> 00:45:01.559
eighty five. Make sure you check out the music blog page.
926
00:45:02.000 --> 00:45:03.000
Can you go to the phone's here?
927
00:45:03.039 --> 00:45:03.400
Real quick?
928
00:45:03.440 --> 00:45:03.920
Good morning?
929
00:45:06.480 --> 00:45:06.760
Hello?
930
00:45:07.079 --> 00:45:13.000
Well hello, who's this Amanda? Is it icing or frosting?
931
00:45:14.320 --> 00:45:16.719
End it for me right now? End this whole debate.
932
00:45:16.920 --> 00:45:17.719
When you are.
933
00:45:17.679 --> 00:45:20.719
Baking a king, do you top it with icing or frosting?
934
00:45:23.039 --> 00:45:26.159
Frosting? My girl, your call her ten?
935
00:45:26.760 --> 00:45:28.000
All right? Now we can give the ticket.
936
00:45:28.039 --> 00:45:31.800
Seriously, yeah, oh oh my god.
937
00:45:32.719 --> 00:45:34.199
Even though thank you.
938
00:45:34.159 --> 00:45:37.400
Even though you're in the minority. More people that listen
939
00:45:37.440 --> 00:45:39.679
to the Rod Ryan Show that are on Twitter for
940
00:45:40.000 --> 00:45:43.400
x sixty three percent call it icing, thirty six percent
941
00:45:43.480 --> 00:45:46.079
call it frosting. I call it frosting. Amanda, You didn't.
942
00:45:46.840 --> 00:45:48.239
All you had to be was call her ten.
943
00:45:48.159 --> 00:45:50.079
And you are. I'm gonna give you the tickets to
944
00:45:50.159 --> 00:45:53.480
cohed Cambria taking Back Sunday, September eight, seventy one to
945
00:45:53.480 --> 00:45:56.360
three Music Hall. Oh my god, thank you so much,
946
00:45:56.440 --> 00:46:01.239
Rod Oh mg, Amanda, thank you so much, thank you
947
00:46:01.400 --> 00:46:05.840
very much. All right, hang on the phone for me, okay, yes,
948
00:46:06.280 --> 00:46:12.840
thank you man, that is cool. Yes, she is thirty
949
00:46:12.920 --> 00:46:16.320
songs about mom for Mother's Day. There's a link up today.
950
00:46:16.920 --> 00:46:18.079
I mean, I don't know if you're putting together a
951
00:46:18.119 --> 00:46:21.920
mom playlist? Was it planning on it? I can I'd
952
00:46:21.960 --> 00:46:24.880
imagine you want to put like her favorite songs on there,
953
00:46:24.880 --> 00:46:27.760
and not just songs like I don't think Danzing's on
954
00:46:27.800 --> 00:46:28.800
your wife's.
955
00:46:29.960 --> 00:46:31.360
Playlist if you.
956
00:46:31.320 --> 00:46:33.639
Don't have your girl like already a playlist, like, what are.
957
00:46:33.559 --> 00:46:36.320
You doing right now? What about your mom? You think
958
00:46:36.519 --> 00:46:37.280
your mom?
959
00:46:39.000 --> 00:46:39.039
No?
960
00:46:40.519 --> 00:46:43.199
Danzig did make the list thirty songs about mom's from
961
00:46:43.199 --> 00:46:46.679
Mother's Day. Uh, they're in no particular order. The Beatles,
962
00:46:46.760 --> 00:46:49.280
let it be, it's about mom. Just Carrie Underwood. I mean,
963
00:46:49.280 --> 00:46:52.199
this is all genres of music. Ozzy Osbourne, Mom, I'm
964
00:46:52.199 --> 00:46:52.639
coming Home.
965
00:46:53.039 --> 00:46:55.679
That would have been popular one I would have matched.
966
00:46:56.079 --> 00:46:59.960
Yeah. What I added to the list. I asked Chilly
967
00:47:00.119 --> 00:47:04.840
to add a couple. Did we ever use this for
968
00:47:05.119 --> 00:47:09.400
Throwback Thursday? Tracy Bonham mother, mother? Are you familiar with
969
00:47:09.480 --> 00:47:19.800
this song? I haven't heard it before late nineties. It
970
00:47:19.880 --> 00:47:24.639
didn't make the lists Billboard put this together, so I figured,
971
00:47:24.639 --> 00:47:27.400
well I could add to Billboard's list, so I put
972
00:47:27.400 --> 00:47:29.599
this on there, and I also put Lenny Kravitz on there.
973
00:47:30.639 --> 00:47:34.800
He's got a couple of songs about his mom.
974
00:47:35.000 --> 00:47:37.079
Oh no, this is Mama said Metallica.
975
00:47:37.199 --> 00:47:40.360
We didn't have Lenny Kravitz. Well, oh, we Always on
976
00:47:40.360 --> 00:47:42.079
the Run. I think it's the name of the song.
977
00:47:42.639 --> 00:47:45.199
I think I might have called it, Mama said, I
978
00:47:45.280 --> 00:47:49.719
forgot about this Metallica song. Yeah, Lenny Kravitz. Do we
979
00:47:49.719 --> 00:47:53.000
have Always on the Run? We might not even have.
980
00:47:53.360 --> 00:47:56.880
They said, well, I'll go with the Tracy Bonham here.
981
00:47:57.519 --> 00:48:01.480
Days like this Van Morrison, he said about his Mamma
982
00:48:01.559 --> 00:48:03.079
told me there'd be days after Oh.
983
00:48:03.000 --> 00:48:06.920
Yeah, mother's a little helper rolling stones, which is about drugs.
984
00:48:08.880 --> 00:48:11.199
Mother's little Helper I think is a pill that the
985
00:48:11.280 --> 00:48:14.639
moms used to take happy pills. All right, you said
986
00:48:14.679 --> 00:48:18.400
that it is your wife's first Mother's Day, So let's
987
00:48:18.400 --> 00:48:22.000
get this out of the way. You're recognizing that it's
988
00:48:22.039 --> 00:48:25.320
your wife's first mother's Day. You have to take care
989
00:48:25.360 --> 00:48:25.719
of her.
990
00:48:26.039 --> 00:48:26.559
Absolutely.
991
00:48:26.679 --> 00:48:27.199
Yeah.
992
00:48:27.360 --> 00:48:29.840
You know there's some stoneheads out there, there's some cement
993
00:48:29.880 --> 00:48:33.039
heads out there that it's like this, my mom.
994
00:48:34.800 --> 00:48:37.480
My daughter cannot give her a gift. She is ten
995
00:48:37.519 --> 00:48:38.119
months old.
996
00:48:38.159 --> 00:48:40.800
I cannot believe there are people that still hold their
997
00:48:40.840 --> 00:48:43.760
ground on that. That's wild. Yes, it is wild. And
998
00:48:43.800 --> 00:48:44.920
there are people I.
999
00:48:44.880 --> 00:48:47.039
Did not birth a child. Are you birthed my child?
1000
00:48:47.199 --> 00:48:49.199
Or you are the mother of my child?
1001
00:48:49.280 --> 00:48:51.280
There are dudes out there. It's like, no, no, no, I
1002
00:48:51.280 --> 00:48:54.000
take care of my mom. That's my wife. Okay. We
1003
00:48:54.039 --> 00:48:56.559
have anniversaries, we have birthdays, we have Christmas, we have
1004
00:48:56.599 --> 00:48:57.199
everything else.
1005
00:48:57.519 --> 00:48:58.639
Yeah, you kind of sign up for that.
1006
00:48:58.679 --> 00:49:04.639
When you're knock here up, I think twice sometimes, Hey, hey,
1007
00:49:04.920 --> 00:49:08.239
who's got another one on the way. He's got lots,
1008
00:49:08.280 --> 00:49:08.800
we're all dog.
1009
00:49:08.920 --> 00:49:11.960
Well, it's like, my daughter was born June fifteenth, and
1010
00:49:12.000 --> 00:49:14.800
I think June sixteenth was Father's Day last year, and
1011
00:49:14.840 --> 00:49:16.920
so it's really like I felt bad because then they
1012
00:49:17.039 --> 00:49:19.599
was like, well, happy Father's she's she just gave birth,
1013
00:49:19.639 --> 00:49:22.119
can we not today? Not today? It was like I
1014
00:49:22.239 --> 00:49:25.639
was in the hospital, she's just recovering from birth, and
1015
00:49:25.639 --> 00:49:28.800
they're like, what, hey, dad, happy Father's Day. Huh.
1016
00:49:28.840 --> 00:49:31.239
Well, just so you know, and I know that you
1017
00:49:31.280 --> 00:49:33.360
said you've got plans. I'm not going to ask you
1018
00:49:33.400 --> 00:49:35.280
for your plans because I want to keep it. I
1019
00:49:35.320 --> 00:49:37.000
don't know when she's listening. I don't want to ruin it,
1020
00:49:37.039 --> 00:49:37.840
but she.
1021
00:49:37.880 --> 00:49:39.320
Listens now because she drives to work.
1022
00:49:39.480 --> 00:49:43.239
Big day on Sunday, Right, mother, say next sund next Sunday,
1023
00:49:43.280 --> 00:49:46.639
on next Sunday. Americans are planning to spend thirty four
1024
00:49:46.679 --> 00:49:50.719
point one billion with a bee this year, according to
1025
00:49:50.719 --> 00:49:55.480
the National Retail Federation's annual Mother's Day Survey. That translates
1026
00:49:55.480 --> 00:49:59.760
to around two hundred and fifty nine dollars each flowers, jewelry,
1027
00:50:00.039 --> 00:50:05.960
on shoutings, experiences to celebrate the special moms in your lives.
1028
00:50:06.400 --> 00:50:07.880
Two fifty nine.
1029
00:50:08.760 --> 00:50:12.960
Is the average that, honestly, tie doesn't seem that bad. Well,
1030
00:50:13.000 --> 00:50:15.280
if your flowers are a million dollars, if you go
1031
00:50:15.280 --> 00:50:16.880
out to eat, that's a million dollars.
1032
00:50:16.880 --> 00:50:19.440
Do good call on flowers or a million dollars? Now
1033
00:50:20.000 --> 00:50:21.880
they are mean like, oh yeah, you want them to
1034
00:50:21.880 --> 00:50:23.559
delivered on Mother's Day? Good luck, buddy.
1035
00:50:23.559 --> 00:50:26.239
It's a fifty dollars delivery charge, even if you ordered
1036
00:50:26.239 --> 00:50:26.920
it a month ago.
1037
00:50:27.519 --> 00:50:31.559
Yeah, flowers can come. I mean, somebody tell me if
1038
00:50:31.559 --> 00:50:35.559
I'm wrong on this, but Mother's Day flowers can come
1039
00:50:35.920 --> 00:50:40.760
starting Wednesday, because sometimes sometimes they deliver buds and they're
1040
00:50:40.800 --> 00:50:43.639
not open yet yeah, so there's there's that. There's that
1041
00:50:43.679 --> 00:50:45.679
play too. So you wanted to look nice for Sunday.
1042
00:50:45.960 --> 00:50:48.760
But if I mean, stop me if I'm wrong. I
1043
00:50:48.840 --> 00:50:51.320
think the Mother's Day flowers can come anytime that week.
1044
00:50:51.440 --> 00:50:52.360
For Mother's Day, you.
1045
00:50:52.280 --> 00:50:54.360
Could put yourself out one hundred of the two fifty
1046
00:50:55.039 --> 00:50:55.800
just on flowers.
1047
00:50:55.880 --> 00:50:58.159
Yeah, you can easily. And then you got to eat.
1048
00:50:58.199 --> 00:51:00.840
That's what's one seventy that is encount what you already
1049
00:51:00.880 --> 00:51:01.199
got her.
1050
00:51:01.320 --> 00:51:07.079
My mom's flowers will be one hundred and ten dollars. Yeah,
1051
00:51:07.159 --> 00:51:11.159
easily delivered to where she's at and at the home
1052
00:51:11.199 --> 00:51:14.760
in Niagara falls one hundred and ten hundred twenty bucks
1053
00:51:15.119 --> 00:51:16.639
just for that. I don't know. I don't have to
1054
00:51:16.679 --> 00:51:18.159
take her out to eat. I can't.
1055
00:51:18.199 --> 00:51:21.639
I would if I could. Oh yeah, two fifty nine
1056
00:51:21.679 --> 00:51:22.079
is easy.
1057
00:51:22.280 --> 00:51:28.599
Yeah, two fifty nine is easy. Just a little fun fact.
1058
00:51:29.199 --> 00:51:34.159
Maybe not so fun fact. Okay, average spent on Dad's
1059
00:51:37.639 --> 00:51:39.400
I was surprised that it was that much. To be
1060
00:51:39.440 --> 00:51:42.880
honest with you, we know that Father's Day is a
1061
00:51:43.039 --> 00:51:46.400
second tier holiday. That's fine. We get it. We get it.
1062
00:51:46.719 --> 00:51:48.800
I don't know that it's fine, but it just is.
1063
00:51:49.320 --> 00:51:52.239
It is. Let's just focus on the Mom's next Sunday.
1064
00:51:52.599 --> 00:51:55.280
Get your act together, everybody, and if you're not spending
1065
00:51:55.280 --> 00:51:59.280
two fifty nine, well, well average you hate Why do
1066
00:51:59.280 --> 00:51:59.719
you hate your mom?
1067
00:51:59.800 --> 00:52:01.400
So a rod Ryan Show.
1068
00:52:02.960 --> 00:52:07.719
The Bush ninety four or five, The Buzz, Good morning,
1069
00:52:07.800 --> 00:52:08.320
rod Ryan.
1070
00:52:08.480 --> 00:52:12.519
Shoo on a Wildcard Wednesday.
1071
00:52:12.679 --> 00:52:16.239
You know that Wildcard chick is rumored to be uh.
1072
00:52:16.239 --> 00:52:17.760
Chili was song just before that?
1073
00:52:17.960 --> 00:52:18.239
Yeah?
1074
00:52:18.559 --> 00:52:23.719
Uh, the that is bringing the allegations to Shannon Sharp.
1075
00:52:24.480 --> 00:52:27.480
Right now, that's who the Wildcard Wednesday is. If you
1076
00:52:27.519 --> 00:52:30.800
don't know what's going on with Shannon Sharp, google it. Okay,
1077
00:52:30.880 --> 00:52:33.960
it's wild, too much to talk. It's wild. She's young though,
1078
00:52:34.000 --> 00:52:38.159
huh she's twenty twenty one. Thanks, Yeah, all right, well
1079
00:52:38.159 --> 00:52:42.760
this is what Shannon Sharp was having fun with legend. Well, no, no, no,
1080
00:52:42.960 --> 00:52:44.800
he was having fun with her. He just said it
1081
00:52:44.840 --> 00:52:47.199
was whether it was consensual or not, right, right, He
1082
00:52:47.280 --> 00:52:50.760
was absolutely having a great time with her. We know
1083
00:52:50.800 --> 00:52:53.719
this song, this is it, I was calling it. Mama said,
1084
00:52:53.920 --> 00:52:56.480
this is the Leny Kravitz The Lenny Kravitz.
1085
00:52:56.000 --> 00:52:56.639
Album is called.
1086
00:52:56.719 --> 00:53:03.320
Mama said, the song is called Always on the Run.
1087
00:53:04.880 --> 00:53:06.480
I think this is the first time that he worked
1088
00:53:06.480 --> 00:53:10.840
with that slash on guitar. Dude. Yeah, it sounds like
1089
00:53:10.920 --> 00:53:12.840
Slash save some pe for the rest of us.
1090
00:53:12.840 --> 00:53:13.039
Man.
1091
00:53:13.119 --> 00:53:15.559
You got Slash and Lenny Kravitz on stage at the
1092
00:53:15.599 --> 00:53:16.320
same time.
1093
00:53:16.679 --> 00:53:18.639
And he's just the two coolest dudes ever.
1094
00:53:18.880 --> 00:53:20.639
Have you've seen his new Bahamas commercial.
1095
00:53:20.719 --> 00:53:23.320
It does Yeah, it's just like they probably gave a
1096
00:53:23.320 --> 00:53:24.800
billion dollars and he gets a hang out to the
1097
00:53:24.800 --> 00:53:26.880
Bahamas all the time. He's just I'm shirtless. Look how
1098
00:53:26.960 --> 00:53:27.519
ripped I am.
1099
00:53:27.639 --> 00:53:30.079
He lives there, He already lived there.
1100
00:53:30.280 --> 00:53:32.719
So I imagine maybe a little tax break.
1101
00:53:32.920 --> 00:53:33.800
For doing the commercial.
1102
00:53:33.920 --> 00:53:42.119
I had to pay tax this right, Yeah, this is.
1103
00:53:42.199 --> 00:53:44.400
Slash on guitar. We should be putting this in the
1104
00:53:44.400 --> 00:53:49.639
throwback with horns for me, the horns, right, God, it's
1105
00:53:49.679 --> 00:53:53.159
so good, so good. All right. We were talking a
1106
00:53:53.159 --> 00:53:56.639
little Mother's Day. There is a Mother's Day playlist.
1107
00:53:56.719 --> 00:53:57.559
It's all your.
1108
00:53:57.440 --> 00:54:02.840
Favorite mother's songs, moms songs. It's like Billboard put it together.
1109
00:54:02.880 --> 00:54:04.440
It was a top thirty, but I added this one.
1110
00:54:04.840 --> 00:54:07.039
I added this one, the Tracy Bottom. I added dancing
1111
00:54:07.039 --> 00:54:10.199
already had made the list world famous rod Ryan Show
1112
00:54:10.239 --> 00:54:13.119
page at the buzz dot com and named I Think
1113
00:54:13.159 --> 00:54:16.559
with the Shannon Sharp bombshell. Help. I think a few
1114
00:54:16.599 --> 00:54:19.480
people might go look at that Wildcard Wednesday today. I'm
1115
00:54:19.519 --> 00:54:23.679
going right now Houston's Rocking Alternatives, The.
1116
00:54:23.679 --> 00:54:26.800
Rod The Morning Show from six to ten AM ninety
1117
00:54:26.800 --> 00:54:28.480
four or five buzz.
1118
00:54:33.599 --> 00:54:39.119
The o' grotton goes hard at the end. That that
1119
00:54:39.239 --> 00:54:41.800
was one of the one of the bands that was
1120
00:54:41.800 --> 00:54:43.440
added to the band list right before we made the
1121
00:54:43.480 --> 00:54:43.960
T shirts.
1122
00:54:44.199 --> 00:54:46.280
We had added it to it, didn't they.
1123
00:54:46.239 --> 00:54:47.920
Did we do a dumb pole question what's the best
1124
00:54:47.960 --> 00:54:50.000
way to eat potatoes? It sounds like something we would
1125
00:54:50.039 --> 00:54:52.119
do on this show. And some girl called in and said,
1126
00:54:52.159 --> 00:54:56.239
Rod o grotton goes hard every time I hear that,
1127
00:54:56.800 --> 00:54:58.599
and shine down when he's shredding at the end of
1128
00:54:58.599 --> 00:55:00.719
that one song that we're playing now, It's like, yeah,
1129
00:55:00.760 --> 00:55:04.000
ogroden goes hard right at the end there. Good morning, everybody,
1130
00:55:04.119 --> 00:55:05.760
help your off to a great start to your day.
1131
00:55:06.480 --> 00:55:10.239
Wild Card Wednesday. Only this silly show would debate icing
1132
00:55:10.280 --> 00:55:14.119
or frosting on the X Right now at Rod Ryan's show,
1133
00:55:14.440 --> 00:55:16.800
I cannot believe there's more icing people than frosting people.
1134
00:55:16.840 --> 00:55:20.360
I really cannot claude Skys twenty percent chance to rain
1135
00:55:20.480 --> 00:55:24.599
higher eighty five next hour, modest mouse flaming lipsticks. Right now,
1136
00:55:24.639 --> 00:55:28.199
you got Alex with Houston's headlines. Well, good morning everyone.
1137
00:55:28.280 --> 00:55:31.159
President Trump announced yesterday that he's giving US car makers
1138
00:55:31.199 --> 00:55:33.800
a break on his twenty five percent tariffs. After major
1139
00:55:33.880 --> 00:55:37.239
automakers like GM and Ford warn the tariffs on vehicles
1140
00:55:37.239 --> 00:55:40.159
from Mexico and Canada could hurt American factories, Trump agreed
1141
00:55:40.199 --> 00:55:43.039
to give rebates on those fees for two years. The
1142
00:55:43.119 --> 00:55:45.480
idea behind this is to give the companies time to
1143
00:55:45.480 --> 00:55:48.000
move their production back to the United States. Trump is
1144
00:55:48.000 --> 00:55:50.639
still pushing a tough trades dance, including a possible two
1145
00:55:50.679 --> 00:55:53.840
hundred percent tariff on Chinese made cars in Mexico.
1146
00:55:55.039 --> 00:55:58.480
Amazon confirmed yesterday, hold on, go ahead, give me, give
1147
00:55:58.480 --> 00:56:01.039
me a little clear clear that frog in my throat?
1148
00:56:01.199 --> 00:56:01.400
You go.
1149
00:56:01.599 --> 00:56:04.719
Amazon confirmed yesterday that it will not display tariff charges
1150
00:56:04.960 --> 00:56:07.239
on its site after backlash for the White House. The
1151
00:56:07.280 --> 00:56:11.719
company had reportedly considered enlisting import fees on certain products
1152
00:56:11.719 --> 00:56:15.239
to provide transparency about price increases due to new tariffs. However,
1153
00:56:15.440 --> 00:56:18.559
Jeff Bezos told President Trump yesterday that the idea was
1154
00:56:18.599 --> 00:56:21.320
never approved and it will not be implemented. Amazon clarified
1155
00:56:21.320 --> 00:56:23.840
that the idea was only considered for its haul program,
1156
00:56:24.039 --> 00:56:26.880
which competes with low cost retailers like Timu and Sheen,
1157
00:56:27.280 --> 00:56:29.639
and was never intended for the main site. The company
1158
00:56:29.639 --> 00:56:31.840
emphasized that no changes had been made to any of
1159
00:56:31.880 --> 00:56:37.119
its platforms regarding tariff changes. The US government admitted that
1160
00:56:37.159 --> 00:56:41.320
the Navy lost a really expensive fighter jet after it
1161
00:56:41.440 --> 00:56:44.320
slipped off a moving aircraft carrier last week. The jet
1162
00:56:44.440 --> 00:56:47.880
was worth between sixty and seventy million dollars. The Navy
1163
00:56:47.880 --> 00:56:50.599
says that it was an F eighteen Super Hornet fighter
1164
00:56:50.679 --> 00:56:53.639
jet and that it rolled off the USS Harry S.
1165
00:56:53.679 --> 00:56:56.159
Truman after the ship reported they came under fire from
1166
00:56:56.199 --> 00:56:58.480
hoothy rebels in Yemen or from Yemen.
1167
00:56:58.679 --> 00:57:00.800
I'm sure there's a team of people that are in
1168
00:57:00.920 --> 00:57:04.480
charge of securing that plane down, But you know that
1169
00:57:04.519 --> 00:57:08.679
there's one person that is more important than everyone that
1170
00:57:08.960 --> 00:57:11.280
didn't put the parking brake on, that didn't do something,
1171
00:57:11.320 --> 00:57:14.400
that didn't put the hook on, didn't secure the rope
1172
00:57:14.559 --> 00:57:18.079
or the chain or whatever. I'm sure there's there's a
1173
00:57:18.119 --> 00:57:20.000
bunch of people, there's maybe a team of people to
1174
00:57:20.000 --> 00:57:24.079
look at here, but there's one guy. Yeah, there's one
1175
00:57:24.119 --> 00:57:26.639
guy that had the one job. It's it's the classic
1176
00:57:26.719 --> 00:57:27.639
you had one job.
1177
00:57:28.000 --> 00:57:29.960
How do you spend sixty or seventy million on a
1178
00:57:29.960 --> 00:57:32.719
fighter jet that can't like just not go in the
1179
00:57:32.760 --> 00:57:34.360
water like you should have like a hey, am I
1180
00:57:34.360 --> 00:57:35.199
about to fall in water?
1181
00:57:35.679 --> 00:57:36.760
Have like a smart feature.
1182
00:57:36.800 --> 00:57:38.400
It seems like that could be a thing you could
1183
00:57:38.440 --> 00:57:40.599
feature on it for that much money, where it's just like,
1184
00:57:40.639 --> 00:57:41.840
oh no, I won't fall in the water.
1185
00:57:41.920 --> 00:57:44.239
Yeah, that feature would make that one hundred and twenty million.
1186
00:57:45.039 --> 00:57:46.840
How much the plane? Now, how much is the plane
1187
00:57:47.079 --> 00:57:49.480
between sixty and seventy million? Seventy million? Yeah, maybe that
1188
00:57:49.519 --> 00:57:53.599
features another twenty mili. Yeah that Yeah, it's like it's
1189
00:57:53.639 --> 00:57:56.800
already expensive. That's a that's pretty crazy. Tho A link
1190
00:57:56.840 --> 00:57:59.119
up today, Yeah, there's a link up on links and guests.
1191
00:57:59.159 --> 00:58:00.840
So the jets at the bottom of the Red Sea. Now,
1192
00:58:00.880 --> 00:58:03.639
one sailor suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident,
1193
00:58:03.639 --> 00:58:05.960
but thankfully there were no other injuries.
1194
00:58:06.039 --> 00:58:07.840
Yeah, it's just like a parking break situation.
1195
00:58:10.360 --> 00:58:11.000
Whoops.
1196
00:58:11.039 --> 00:58:13.159
Oh man, that's expensive and that thing's done right.
1197
00:58:13.239 --> 00:58:15.280
Yeah, I sounded sitting at the bottom of the sea,
1198
00:58:15.440 --> 00:58:16.360
just like the Titanic.
1199
00:58:16.639 --> 00:58:22.360
That things sunk like Shadoor Sanders I came into work today,
1200
00:58:22.239 --> 00:58:22.440
I go.
1201
00:58:24.840 --> 00:58:27.400
A brawl broke out at a Beyonce concert on the
1202
00:58:27.440 --> 00:58:29.880
opening night of her Cowboy car Or tour. Fans were
1203
00:58:29.880 --> 00:58:32.360
caught on cameras shoving and kicking each other after an
1204
00:58:32.440 --> 00:58:36.039
argument turned violent in the VIP area of Sofa Stadium
1205
00:58:36.039 --> 00:58:39.159
in Inglewood, California, on Monday night. I am not a
1206
00:58:39.199 --> 00:58:43.039
Beyonce expert. They have to come from me. But is
1207
00:58:43.039 --> 00:58:46.880
there like, like, you're not mashing a Beyonce concert. Like
1208
00:58:46.880 --> 00:58:48.239
I know it was after an argument, but it's like,
1209
00:58:48.440 --> 00:58:50.239
that's not She's not like got violent music.
1210
00:58:50.280 --> 00:58:52.880
But there's assholes everywhere somebody. Somebody spilled a beer on
1211
00:58:52.920 --> 00:58:54.920
somebody and then then they got into it. I mean,
1212
00:58:55.039 --> 00:58:58.760
you know that it's not it's not a reflection of Beyonce.
1213
00:58:59.280 --> 00:59:01.800
You're right, they're not getting aggressive during her songs. I
1214
00:59:01.800 --> 00:59:04.400
got beat up at a Beyonce concert. Union made fun
1215
00:59:04.400 --> 00:59:05.119
of the next day, right.
1216
00:59:05.239 --> 00:59:06.119
I did see Oprah.
1217
00:59:05.960 --> 00:59:09.760
Dancing, though Oprah was at one of those shows she involved. Yeah,
1218
00:59:09.800 --> 00:59:12.599
she was throwing elbows. It was awesome. Yeah, you get
1219
00:59:12.599 --> 00:59:14.440
a bow and you get a bow and you get
1220
00:59:14.480 --> 00:59:17.519
a bow. Oh yeah, No, Oprah was not involved in
1221
00:59:17.519 --> 00:59:18.079
this scuffle.
1222
00:59:18.199 --> 00:59:21.159
But uh yeah, it's just it's a crowded.
1223
00:59:21.079 --> 00:59:24.800
Place at a Taylor Swift show. Are drinking. I imagine
1224
00:59:24.800 --> 00:59:28.000
there's been fights at Taylor Swift shows before, but it's Beyonce.
1225
00:59:28.559 --> 00:59:30.639
She's kind of had the microscope on her and it's
1226
00:59:30.679 --> 00:59:33.840
the first shows, so of course TMC is going to
1227
00:59:33.880 --> 00:59:35.960
be all over it with their camera phones. I'm sure
1228
00:59:35.960 --> 00:59:38.000
they paid top dollar to get this footage. We have
1229
00:59:38.079 --> 00:59:39.639
it on links and guests. He's getting a fight at
1230
00:59:39.639 --> 00:59:42.119
a range against the machine show. You're like, yeah, I
1231
00:59:42.199 --> 00:59:43.679
was agro. Okay, I get it.
1232
00:59:43.760 --> 00:59:46.960
I understand there's testosterone flowing around it.
1233
00:59:47.039 --> 00:59:48.840
We'll get mad, but not.
1234
00:59:48.840 --> 00:59:51.159
A Beyonce like, just chill out a little bit, guys.
1235
00:59:51.239 --> 00:59:53.400
Damn, could you just hold on a second? Okay, Well,
1236
00:59:53.400 --> 00:59:53.960
we got.
1237
00:59:54.039 --> 00:59:55.519
Better drum intro.
1238
00:59:55.840 --> 00:59:59.719
It was just email to me and this came up,
1239
00:59:59.800 --> 01:00:03.400
yes today when we were doing the nineties movies Foo
1240
01:00:03.480 --> 01:00:04.800
Fighters or.
1241
01:00:12.320 --> 01:00:13.360
Better drum Intro.
1242
01:00:14.079 --> 01:00:21.199
Guns n' Roses you could be mine are food Fighters,
1243
01:00:21.199 --> 01:00:25.599
my hero. I gotta go with this because it's just drums.
1244
01:00:25.840 --> 01:00:27.440
They're not getting this now.
1245
01:00:27.440 --> 01:00:28.119
The base kicked in.
1246
01:00:28.079 --> 01:00:30.159
A little bit here. I don't know. Those are two
1247
01:00:30.159 --> 01:00:32.639
of the great drum intros all time, I mean hot
1248
01:00:32.639 --> 01:00:33.119
for teachers.
1249
01:00:33.119 --> 01:00:34.679
The best drum intro of all time, I would go,
1250
01:00:34.719 --> 01:00:40.119
food Fighters byass was Terminator two, by the way, Terminator two.
1251
01:00:40.159 --> 01:00:41.960
Thank you Roses, you did get that right, all right?
1252
01:00:42.360 --> 01:00:43.519
Hey, Dave Grohl just showed up.
1253
01:00:43.559 --> 01:00:45.920
The PTA's got him on speed Dog, so they were.
1254
01:00:45.840 --> 01:00:48.679
Just having a casual PTA fundraiser and the like, oh wait,
1255
01:00:48.760 --> 01:00:51.440
Dave Grohl's here, and he showed up to surprise everybody
1256
01:00:51.440 --> 01:00:55.280
with a set of cover performances. The event featured him
1257
01:00:55.440 --> 01:00:58.960
delivering renditions of Queen and Davies under Pressure LCD Sound Systems,
1258
01:00:59.000 --> 01:01:00.760
New York, I Love You, but You're bringing me down,
1259
01:01:01.079 --> 01:01:03.880
and the Knacks My Sharona. He was joined on stage
1260
01:01:03.880 --> 01:01:06.719
by friend of The Rod Ryan Show, Luke Spiller of
1261
01:01:06.800 --> 01:01:09.320
The Struts, and singer Lisa Loebe. It was all part
1262
01:01:09.360 --> 01:01:14.400
of a fundraiser for a local school. My school never
1263
01:01:14.440 --> 01:01:15.639
had Dave roll shot though.
1264
01:01:16.039 --> 01:01:17.559
I'm guessing they hit their goal.
1265
01:01:19.519 --> 01:01:21.119
Yeah how much money you think he threw down?
1266
01:01:21.159 --> 01:01:23.159
What I'm saying, whatever the goal was of the night,
1267
01:01:23.480 --> 01:01:26.840
I'm assuming they hit it right. Wow. Good for the
1268
01:01:27.559 --> 01:01:29.199
gotta be a heck of a playground at that school.
1269
01:01:30.800 --> 01:01:32.840
Some sixth slide, I bet all right.
1270
01:01:33.400 --> 01:01:36.280
Yeah, it's probably like a water park at a elementary
1271
01:01:36.280 --> 01:01:37.360
school splash pad.
1272
01:01:37.639 --> 01:01:41.280
Yeah, Dave Roll bought this, all right? Come on, Astros win. Yeah.
1273
01:01:41.280 --> 01:01:44.000
They beat the Tigers six to four last night. They're
1274
01:01:44.000 --> 01:01:46.280
sixteen and thirteen on the season so far. You can
1275
01:01:46.280 --> 01:01:48.280
wrap up their series with the Tigers this afternoon. Aj
1276
01:01:48.320 --> 01:01:51.039
blue Ball is gonna make his first major league start
1277
01:01:51.079 --> 01:01:54.119
for the Stros, going up against Detroit's Jackson Jobi. First
1278
01:01:54.119 --> 01:01:56.079
pitch is at one ten. You can listen to the
1279
01:01:56.079 --> 01:02:00.039
game on our sister station, Sports Talk seven nineties. And
1280
01:02:00.119 --> 01:02:05.480
in basketball, the Rockets and Warriors played Game five of
1281
01:02:05.519 --> 01:02:07.920
their first round series tonight at Toyota Center.
1282
01:02:07.960 --> 01:02:10.000
Golden State leads the series three.
1283
01:02:09.800 --> 01:02:12.760
Games to one, so it's a must win for the Rockets,
1284
01:02:12.920 --> 01:02:14.840
who are four and a half point favorites heading into
1285
01:02:14.880 --> 01:02:16.800
this game too. Obviously at six thirty and you can
1286
01:02:16.840 --> 01:02:19.239
hear the game on our sister station, Sports Talk seven
1287
01:02:19.320 --> 01:02:25.239
ninety that What's going on in sports rock.
1288
01:02:25.119 --> 01:02:28.199
And Alternative Fair Houston, The Ron Ryan.
1289
01:02:27.960 --> 01:02:31.599
Morning Show six to ten AM. The Bus.
1290
01:02:33.320 --> 01:02:36.239
Before Fun the Bus halfway part of the show People
1291
01:02:38.559 --> 01:02:42.639
halfway point eight oh six past the halfway point on
1292
01:02:42.679 --> 01:02:47.840
this wild Card Wednesday. Good for Club Shay sh That
1293
01:02:47.920 --> 01:02:51.920
Wildcard Wednesday damn bad for him because it didn't turn
1294
01:02:51.960 --> 01:02:54.719
out great. It didn't turn out great. I mean, what's
1295
01:02:54.760 --> 01:02:57.480
he doing messing around with a twenty year old? Okay,
1296
01:02:57.639 --> 01:03:01.239
but he says it was consensual. You know, this Shannon
1297
01:03:01.280 --> 01:03:04.039
Sharp situation is a mess. Our Wildcard Wednesday today. I
1298
01:03:04.079 --> 01:03:07.280
believe is pretty well known as to be the Jane
1299
01:03:07.360 --> 01:03:11.000
Doe in the case that Tony Busby. She still mentioned
1300
01:03:11.039 --> 01:03:14.239
as Jane Doe in the legal paperwork. Her name's out
1301
01:03:14.239 --> 01:03:19.280
there everywhere. She's out there, She's out there everywhere on
1302
01:03:19.320 --> 01:03:22.400
who she is. So I don't have time to get
1303
01:03:22.400 --> 01:03:24.800
into that. I got more important things to talk about,
1304
01:03:25.119 --> 01:03:28.400
like the greatest drum intro of all time.
1305
01:03:29.639 --> 01:03:31.000
You just happen to be using this.
1306
01:03:30.880 --> 01:03:34.719
For the foo Fighters song, and it got one of
1307
01:03:34.719 --> 01:03:39.599
our listeners thinking, Rob, what's a better drum intro? Foo
1308
01:03:39.679 --> 01:03:42.840
Fighter is My Hero? Or a song that we featured
1309
01:03:42.920 --> 01:03:45.360
yesterday on the show. When I was quizzing Alex about
1310
01:03:46.039 --> 01:03:49.679
nineties movie soundtracks, you got to go all the way
1311
01:03:49.719 --> 01:03:58.559
back to Terminator two? Is that better than My Hero?
1312
01:03:58.800 --> 01:04:02.159
You said, no, I don't think so. It's a good one.
1313
01:04:02.199 --> 01:04:05.880
Though it's Matt Sorem on drums. It's a killer drummer.
1314
01:04:06.159 --> 01:04:09.360
Fun fact, Matt Soreum does that jazzy intro to the show.
1315
01:04:10.480 --> 01:04:11.239
That's Matt Soum.
1316
01:04:11.440 --> 01:04:12.880
It's his cover of Buddy Rich.
1317
01:04:13.199 --> 01:04:15.679
Yeah, yeah, good call on that, good history on that.
1318
01:04:15.760 --> 01:04:17.480
Some people think it's the Tonight Show theme, it's not.
1319
01:04:18.840 --> 01:04:21.719
I'll end the argument now. The greatest drum intro of
1320
01:04:21.760 --> 01:04:31.760
all time? It's not. But it's tasty. It tell us
1321
01:04:32.760 --> 01:04:37.960
it's tasty, you know it. It gets into the song
1322
01:04:38.119 --> 01:04:41.159
nicely though. I mean, like something fun is about to
1323
01:04:41.199 --> 01:04:48.639
happen here. Yeah right, I mean the guy playing this
1324
01:04:48.719 --> 01:04:51.599
might be the winner. The guy playing that spent a
1325
01:04:51.599 --> 01:04:56.679
little time in marching band. This just came in, Shannon,
1326
01:04:56.920 --> 01:04:59.360
great listener of the show for me. The best drum
1327
01:04:59.400 --> 01:05:02.960
intro of all time? Come on, Rod, nine inch Nails
1328
01:05:04.199 --> 01:05:06.159
March of the Pigs. Oh he might be good.
1329
01:05:09.639 --> 01:05:10.679
That might be pretty good.
1330
01:05:11.599 --> 01:05:14.159
I've just been telling you I've seen this live before.
1331
01:05:15.400 --> 01:05:24.960
It gets angry during this? Is that better than my hero?
1332
01:05:26.039 --> 01:05:27.719
I liked swop intans better.
1333
01:05:28.960 --> 01:05:32.119
You can't get off of that. You got a suggestion here?
1334
01:05:32.719 --> 01:05:35.880
Maybe my favorite one?
1335
01:05:37.400 --> 01:05:38.880
A little flange on there.
1336
01:05:40.719 --> 01:05:44.239
Yeah, I remember opening up Madden, firing it up, and
1337
01:05:44.320 --> 01:05:46.039
this was the first song they played on it.
1338
01:05:47.400 --> 01:05:49.039
So my favorite blank songs.
1339
01:05:49.159 --> 01:05:51.480
The things that we're talking about, these drum intros, they're
1340
01:05:51.480 --> 01:05:54.920
not super intricate, they're not super difficult. The march of
1341
01:05:54.960 --> 01:05:58.400
the pig one is interesting, but you can do it.
1342
01:05:58.480 --> 01:06:01.400
You know, your average drummer can do it. It doesn't
1343
01:06:01.440 --> 01:06:06.599
have to be a difficult opener. It's just I could
1344
01:06:06.599 --> 01:06:08.920
teach you this in ten minutes. Is this the greatest
1345
01:06:08.960 --> 01:06:14.360
drum intro of all time? Is that the greatest drum
1346
01:06:14.400 --> 01:06:19.679
intro ever? I mean, listen, hang on, it comes in
1347
01:06:19.760 --> 01:06:21.639
completely cold. Just listen to it by itself.
1348
01:06:23.400 --> 01:06:31.760
Yeah, it's really good dance, it's perfect, and it's probably
1349
01:06:31.760 --> 01:06:32.960
Stephen Tyler playing too.
1350
01:06:33.559 --> 01:06:35.119
He was he was a drummer. He was a drummer.
1351
01:06:35.119 --> 01:06:35.360
That fan.
1352
01:06:35.440 --> 01:06:40.559
Yeah. I will end the argument and we'll move on
1353
01:06:40.639 --> 01:06:42.519
to do some other things. Okay, wait, you got one
1354
01:06:42.519 --> 01:06:43.119
more hit out.
1355
01:06:43.480 --> 01:06:45.000
Does does steal drum count?
1356
01:06:46.239 --> 01:06:54.639
It's drums dum Okay.
1357
01:06:53.199 --> 01:06:58.000
This is good. The imp from fifty this is good.
1358
01:06:59.320 --> 01:06:59.920
I can see Bob.
1359
01:07:01.079 --> 01:07:04.320
I'll end it though. The greatest drum intro of all time?
1360
01:07:04.360 --> 01:07:08.719
It is hot for teacher Alex van Halen. Okay, yeah,
1361
01:07:08.880 --> 01:07:13.440
this is It's just it's everything that we've heard is
1362
01:07:13.519 --> 01:07:19.840
great this morning. There's no better intro drum intro to
1363
01:07:20.360 --> 01:07:23.159
a song, and the song winds up being pretty great too.
1364
01:07:25.599 --> 01:07:27.800
But I mean, they just let Alex go off, you know.
1365
01:07:29.400 --> 01:07:31.639
And I remember being a kid just trying to mimic
1366
01:07:31.679 --> 01:07:33.880
this and duplicate it. I couldn't do it. I couldn't
1367
01:07:33.880 --> 01:07:36.519
do it. I've seen there's drummers on the internet now
1368
01:07:36.519 --> 01:07:39.239
there's young kids that are doing this. Now. Nobody could
1369
01:07:39.280 --> 01:07:41.320
do it. When I was young, we just couldn't figure
1370
01:07:41.320 --> 01:07:43.039
out how it was done. We just thought it was trickery.
1371
01:07:43.119 --> 01:07:44.440
We thought there was no way that that was him
1372
01:07:44.480 --> 01:07:47.920
playing magic. Yeah, that's the greatest drum intro of all time.
1373
01:07:48.360 --> 01:07:53.159
Cool discussion, guys, that was fine, Very cool discussion guys.
1374
01:07:54.360 --> 01:07:55.960
Let me take a short break, let me come back,
1375
01:07:57.320 --> 01:08:01.079
modest mouse blaming lips to it. It's August twentieth. I
1376
01:08:01.079 --> 01:08:04.239
can hook you up with those tickets. Let me take
1377
01:08:04.239 --> 01:08:07.280
a short break and we'll come back with those Houston's
1378
01:08:07.400 --> 01:08:08.960
rocking alternatives.
1379
01:08:09.000 --> 01:08:11.760
The rod Rost The Morning Show six to ten AM,
1380
01:08:11.960 --> 01:08:13.559
ninety four or five suppers.
1381
01:08:14.000 --> 01:08:17.119
All right, welcome, back everybody. We got cloudy skies today,
1382
01:08:17.239 --> 01:08:19.760
twenty percent chance of rain. It's high at eighty five.
1383
01:08:20.640 --> 01:08:24.199
It's eight nineteen. I hope you are where you're supposed
1384
01:08:24.239 --> 01:08:27.439
to be the one thing that I do believe in
1385
01:08:28.199 --> 01:08:30.560
is that our devices are listening to us. I'm sure
1386
01:08:30.600 --> 01:08:32.560
these guys were gonna I'm sure they're gonna hit me
1387
01:08:32.600 --> 01:08:35.319
up with emails anyways. But having that this right after
1388
01:08:35.359 --> 01:08:37.439
we had the discussion about how much people are spending
1389
01:08:37.479 --> 01:08:40.560
on Mother's Day this year, what the National Retail Federation
1390
01:08:40.680 --> 01:08:43.680
is predicting in the billions of dollars, in the billions
1391
01:08:43.760 --> 01:08:44.319
of dollars.
1392
01:08:45.239 --> 01:08:46.319
I specifically, we're.
1393
01:08:46.199 --> 01:08:48.840
Talking about flowers and delivering flowers to my mom and
1394
01:08:48.840 --> 01:08:52.159
getting them off and how expensive they were. ProFlowers dot
1395
01:08:52.199 --> 01:08:54.800
Com and one eight hundred flowers dot Com both hit
1396
01:08:54.840 --> 01:08:57.880
me up almost immediately after we had that discussion on
1397
01:08:57.920 --> 01:09:00.359
the radio, on my personal email, the one that I
1398
01:09:00.439 --> 01:09:04.800
use at my house. It's it's two weeks out or
1399
01:09:04.840 --> 01:09:06.199
less than two weeks, a week and a half from
1400
01:09:06.199 --> 01:09:08.479
Mother's Day. I know they're gonna be hit me up anyway.
1401
01:09:08.880 --> 01:09:12.039
But right after I got done talking about it, immediately
1402
01:09:12.079 --> 01:09:14.199
we got done talking about it, I turn off the microphone,
1403
01:09:14.520 --> 01:09:17.119
and I just happened to go look at my email. Bam.
1404
01:09:17.159 --> 01:09:21.680
Both of them came after me. That stuff for real,
1405
01:09:22.039 --> 01:09:24.800
that stuff for real, these phones, everything's listening to us. Man.
1406
01:09:26.319 --> 01:09:29.199
You know, I'm not conspiracy theory guy. That's for real
1407
01:09:29.279 --> 01:09:31.800
that they're picking up on these things. What do you
1408
01:09:31.840 --> 01:09:32.960
got that's trending? All right?
1409
01:09:33.039 --> 01:09:34.800
Wild Card Wednesday continues and.
1410
01:09:35.159 --> 01:09:37.640
It's gone through the roof right now. To be honest with.
1411
01:09:37.640 --> 01:09:38.800
You, wild Card Wednesday.
1412
01:09:39.359 --> 01:09:41.439
When you say, oh, you know, ho hum, it's our
1413
01:09:41.479 --> 01:09:47.720
number one link, it's Jane Doe gab. Yeah, this is
1414
01:09:47.720 --> 01:09:52.119
the girl that's bringing the charges up against Shannon Sharp
1415
01:09:52.199 --> 01:09:52.560
right now.
1416
01:09:53.520 --> 01:09:55.399
Wow, if you're like checking her out the world Chamish
1417
01:09:55.439 --> 01:09:58.319
rad Ryan ship Age at the buzz dot Com.
1418
01:09:58.319 --> 01:10:00.840
Beyoncey is also oh she is.
1419
01:10:01.000 --> 01:10:03.239
That video of the fight that broke out on the
1420
01:10:03.239 --> 01:10:07.159
opening night of her Cowboy Carter tour in California.
1421
01:10:07.399 --> 01:10:11.119
Oprah is not involved in the fight. I that got
1422
01:10:11.199 --> 01:10:13.800
to go click at though. I mentioned two separate things.
1423
01:10:13.800 --> 01:10:16.199
I said, I saw a video of Oprah jumping around
1424
01:10:16.239 --> 01:10:18.840
all excited, you know, I saw her, you know, at
1425
01:10:18.840 --> 01:10:21.439
the show. A video separately, there was a fight. It
1426
01:10:21.520 --> 01:10:24.760
was not Oprah. It was Gail King. Okay, it was Gail.
1427
01:10:25.039 --> 01:10:29.319
That was just just wrecking shop, going ham on people. No,
1428
01:10:29.399 --> 01:10:32.079
it wasn't Gail either. It was just some randos at
1429
01:10:32.079 --> 01:10:33.880
the concert. They were having a fight and TMC got
1430
01:10:33.880 --> 01:10:35.279
ahold of the footage and it's everywhere.
1431
01:10:35.319 --> 01:10:37.600
Now, yeah, it's everywhere, and it's good.
1432
01:10:37.760 --> 01:10:39.520
I'll tell you people are definitely talking about it. I'll
1433
01:10:39.520 --> 01:10:43.279
tell you what. Beyonce needs the mentions. She needs the
1434
01:10:43.319 --> 01:10:46.319
mentions right now. I think she does. It's better than
1435
01:10:46.560 --> 01:10:48.640
it's better than the story being Hey, there's a lot
1436
01:10:48.680 --> 01:10:51.119
of empty seats last night. I'd rather have people talking
1437
01:10:51.119 --> 01:10:52.840
about a fight than empty seats if it was my
1438
01:10:53.000 --> 01:10:53.840
CONSOO you.
1439
01:10:53.760 --> 01:10:55.479
Know too, So all right, what else?
1440
01:10:55.560 --> 01:10:59.159
And then Jack in the Box is trending, Jay and
1441
01:10:59.319 --> 01:11:02.760
the B is closing over two hundred locations that they
1442
01:11:02.800 --> 01:11:06.720
say are underperforming. Ooh, okay, if you're talking about that,
1443
01:11:06.880 --> 01:11:08.119
and that is trending.
1444
01:11:08.159 --> 01:11:13.479
And I never by the buzz, modest Mouse and flaming lips.
1445
01:11:14.840 --> 01:11:17.119
I've never seen the flaming lips, man, I know you have.
1446
01:11:17.840 --> 01:11:19.720
Alex has that on me. He hangs it over me
1447
01:11:19.760 --> 01:11:23.319
all the time. August twentieth seven, one to three Music Hall.
1448
01:11:23.720 --> 01:11:25.520
I gotta knock this band off my bucket list. I
1449
01:11:26.000 --> 01:11:26.960
really do. I like him.
1450
01:11:27.800 --> 01:11:31.720
If you'd like to go seven one will take Call
1451
01:11:31.800 --> 01:11:32.199
or ten.
1452
01:11:32.520 --> 01:11:37.560
The rod Ryan showod Morning on nine, The Buzz, ninety
1453
01:11:37.560 --> 01:11:40.680
four five The Buzz, Good Morning, rod Ryan's Show. It's
1454
01:11:40.760 --> 01:11:45.520
popa roach getting away with murder. I guess you could
1455
01:11:45.520 --> 01:11:48.520
do it for all the I wouldn't call him non traditional,
1456
01:11:48.520 --> 01:11:50.239
but like if you just took guitar out of it,
1457
01:11:50.359 --> 01:11:55.560
we just did drum intros, bass intros. It's a pretty
1458
01:11:55.560 --> 01:11:55.960
good one.
1459
01:11:56.840 --> 01:11:58.840
I mean it's got it's got help from the other instruments.
1460
01:11:58.840 --> 01:12:01.640
Though it's got help from drums. They're suffering it a
1461
01:12:01.720 --> 01:12:08.439
basis pretty badass. I think you're gonna lose to Cliff Burton,
1462
01:12:08.479 --> 01:12:10.840
for whom the bell told so sorry after we learned
1463
01:12:10.840 --> 01:12:17.239
that that was the bass guitar. All right, Good morning, pup.
1464
01:12:17.239 --> 01:12:20.199
Your off to a great start to your day. Got
1465
01:12:20.199 --> 01:12:23.880
a little hack coming up for you, but first let
1466
01:12:23.920 --> 01:12:30.840
me give away these tickets here. Good morning rod Ryan Show. Hi, Hello,
1467
01:12:31.039 --> 01:12:35.039
who's this Leah? How are you today?
1468
01:12:36.199 --> 01:12:37.880
I'm about to be doing a lot better.
1469
01:12:38.399 --> 01:12:41.239
Well, I'm not through with you yet. I've got a
1470
01:12:41.239 --> 01:12:45.079
few things. I want to ask you, when you're making
1471
01:12:45.119 --> 01:12:47.640
a cake, do you top it with icing or frosting?
1472
01:12:47.680 --> 01:12:49.560
I thought this was going to be maybe the dumbest
1473
01:12:50.439 --> 01:12:55.560
throwaway whole question ever, and I'm kind of blown away
1474
01:12:55.560 --> 01:12:59.439
at the results. Is it icing or frosting on a cake? Oh?
1475
01:13:00.399 --> 01:13:01.920
I'm gonna guess frosting.
1476
01:13:02.359 --> 01:13:03.640
Everyone's saying frosting.
1477
01:13:03.680 --> 01:13:04.720
Why is icing winning?
1478
01:13:06.199 --> 01:13:08.920
Where are these people that follow us on Twitter from it?
1479
01:13:09.680 --> 01:13:13.279
Is it regional? It might be icing and frosting? Look
1480
01:13:13.319 --> 01:13:15.039
it up, like, where's the line? Is it the pop
1481
01:13:15.119 --> 01:13:18.119
soda line icing and frosting? Is there a line that
1482
01:13:18.159 --> 01:13:18.880
goes through the country?
1483
01:13:18.920 --> 01:13:19.479
Like that's got it?
1484
01:13:19.920 --> 01:13:24.159
I don't know it's frosting, right, Leah. I mean I
1485
01:13:24.199 --> 01:13:27.319
think so I sing for cookies frosting for cake. Sure
1486
01:13:27.640 --> 01:13:30.600
you said you said like icing would be on a cupcake,
1487
01:13:30.640 --> 01:13:33.880
on a cinnabun. Okay wait waite, Yeah, it's not frosting
1488
01:13:33.880 --> 01:13:36.560
on a cupcake for you, it's icing, alex Ice.
1489
01:13:36.960 --> 01:13:39.279
I guess I think it's more of a glaze. Frosting
1490
01:13:39.439 --> 01:13:43.079
is more of like a thick frosting, Like.
1491
01:13:43.119 --> 01:13:45.800
I thing's more of a glaze in my mind. I
1492
01:13:45.920 --> 01:13:49.800
kind of agree with you on that, all right, what else?
1493
01:13:49.960 --> 01:13:51.720
What's the best what's the best song that has the
1494
01:13:51.720 --> 01:13:54.960
best drum intro of all time? Leah, Oh my.
1495
01:13:54.800 --> 01:13:57.560
Gosh, that's that's putting me on the spot.
1496
01:13:58.079 --> 01:13:59.159
That's drum and.
1497
01:13:59.239 --> 01:13:59.960
True, you know.
1498
01:14:00.000 --> 01:14:04.039
Oh it's two Princes by spin Doctors. All right, that's
1499
01:14:04.039 --> 01:14:04.479
the correct.
1500
01:14:04.479 --> 01:14:06.880
All right, you're the winner. You're calling ten today.
1501
01:14:08.079 --> 01:14:08.880
Thank you so much.
1502
01:14:08.920 --> 01:14:10.800
Oh my god, I was about to buy these tickets.
1503
01:14:10.800 --> 01:14:11.720
So I'm super excited.
1504
01:14:11.840 --> 01:14:14.399
Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips. Have you seen these bands before?
1505
01:14:14.479 --> 01:14:17.920
Yeah, I've seen Modest Mouse, and I have not seen
1506
01:14:17.920 --> 01:14:19.840
Flaming Lips that I'm so excited to go.
1507
01:14:20.000 --> 01:14:22.079
I've not seen Flaming Lips either, and I have to
1508
01:14:22.079 --> 01:14:25.119
go see them. It's August twentieth at the seven one
1509
01:14:25.239 --> 01:14:29.640
three Music Hall. Okay, yes, all right.
1510
01:14:29.960 --> 01:14:31.520
Thank you so much.
1511
01:14:31.880 --> 01:14:36.000
Is it sock sock sho shoe or sock shoe sock shoe?
1512
01:14:36.199 --> 01:14:38.239
Leah for the wim.
1513
01:14:37.840 --> 01:14:39.000
Sock socks hue shoe.
1514
01:14:39.880 --> 01:14:43.560
All right, I guess I am a sock sock shoe
1515
01:14:43.560 --> 01:14:44.000
shoe guy.
1516
01:14:44.600 --> 01:14:46.279
All right, congratulations hang on for me.
1517
01:14:46.319 --> 01:14:48.600
Okay, Hi, yeah, thanks.
1518
01:14:48.439 --> 01:14:49.720
Man, all right, you're super cool.
1519
01:14:49.880 --> 01:14:53.039
Thank you do do dear?
1520
01:14:53.439 --> 01:14:55.319
Where are these wacko icing people.
1521
01:14:55.600 --> 01:14:56.239
Yeah, I don't know.
1522
01:14:56.520 --> 01:15:00.399
So I'm saying that icing is for like sugar for
1523
01:15:00.439 --> 01:15:03.479
the cookies and stuff, icing on a cook cut cakes
1524
01:15:03.479 --> 01:15:04.960
and cakes, and says it's frosting.
1525
01:15:06.520 --> 01:15:07.279
Let's see.
1526
01:15:07.560 --> 01:15:11.840
So at Christmas time we make the cutouts, okay, and
1527
01:15:11.880 --> 01:15:14.640
my sister will make the frosting for the cuts. Frosting
1528
01:15:14.880 --> 01:15:17.239
for us. We don't use icing. We don't. We don't
1529
01:15:17.279 --> 01:15:20.840
say it, right, we don't say icing. It's all frosting
1530
01:15:20.920 --> 01:15:26.520
to me. Frosting on the beater. I think it's a
1531
01:15:26.640 --> 01:15:32.479
Posy's album, Frosting on the beat. Okay, here's your hack today.
1532
01:15:34.000 --> 01:15:34.680
All right, well we.
1533
01:15:34.640 --> 01:15:40.680
Got set an alarm for your lunch break. You know
1534
01:15:40.760 --> 01:15:45.920
that people do not like to normalize coming into work
1535
01:15:45.960 --> 01:15:47.680
when you're sick. It's a big thing. Now, like you
1536
01:15:47.720 --> 01:15:49.640
can't you can't talk about that anytime I bring up,
1537
01:15:49.640 --> 01:15:50.119
Like you.
1538
01:15:50.119 --> 01:15:52.159
Said that thing to me my ten year innivention. Eybody
1539
01:15:52.239 --> 01:15:54.239
is like, you don't normalize. It's like I'm not coming
1540
01:15:54.239 --> 01:15:54.920
out with the fe.
1541
01:15:55.239 --> 01:15:57.720
Was giving Alex all kinds of compliments. I was giving
1542
01:15:57.760 --> 01:16:00.760
him his crown, his flowers. He was putting them on
1543
01:16:00.760 --> 01:16:03.560
this pedestal. It was this ten year anniversary, and I said,
1544
01:16:03.560 --> 01:16:06.239
this guy's never even called in sick to work. I
1545
01:16:06.279 --> 01:16:08.840
had more than one email saying, don't normalize coming into
1546
01:16:08.840 --> 01:16:10.000
work sick. I don't be that.
1547
01:16:09.880 --> 01:16:12.319
Guy either, though, Like it's just like, come on, we'll.
1548
01:16:12.039 --> 01:16:14.520
Actually shut up. Yeah, shut up.
1549
01:16:14.640 --> 01:16:18.319
Yeah, I used to.
1550
01:16:20.239 --> 01:16:24.159
When I first started in radio, we would all go
1551
01:16:24.239 --> 01:16:26.640
out to lunch together. We would all go off campus.
1552
01:16:26.920 --> 01:16:29.239
There was a little mall food court right near us,
1553
01:16:29.279 --> 01:16:31.279
and we'd go and we'd spend about five six dollars,
1554
01:16:31.319 --> 01:16:33.279
that's how long ago it was. And we'd go when
1555
01:16:33.279 --> 01:16:35.800
we'd eat lunch. Every day, we'd get out of the studio,
1556
01:16:35.920 --> 01:16:38.279
out of the station, and then we'd go eat and
1557
01:16:38.319 --> 01:16:42.079
we'd come back. That seems like such a ridiculous concept.
1558
01:16:42.079 --> 01:16:44.479
Now I just want to like get done with everything
1559
01:16:44.520 --> 01:16:45.520
and get out of here.
1560
01:16:45.840 --> 01:16:46.439
To take time.
1561
01:16:46.880 --> 01:16:47.640
But I was there.
1562
01:16:47.680 --> 01:16:50.119
I'll not eat until I get home. Sometimes I'll just
1563
01:16:50.199 --> 01:16:51.119
save time, right.
1564
01:16:51.039 --> 01:16:52.760
And I was already I was on the air three
1565
01:16:52.800 --> 01:16:56.239
to seven. I was doing afternoons, and I would get
1566
01:16:56.279 --> 01:16:58.399
to the station at nine in the morning, so yeah,
1567
01:16:58.720 --> 01:17:01.600
nine to seven. But I would go and yeah, I
1568
01:17:01.600 --> 01:17:05.439
would go and eat lunch. What do I do now?
1569
01:17:05.800 --> 01:17:08.720
I eat at ten o'clock my lunch time. That's right,
1570
01:17:08.840 --> 01:17:12.239
old man River over here. Ten o'clock is lunch. I
1571
01:17:12.319 --> 01:17:15.359
slide two feet over from where I'm standing right now,
1572
01:17:15.920 --> 01:17:20.720
and I eat at the counter. The thought of going
1573
01:17:20.760 --> 01:17:23.079
out to eat and then coming back is it crazy?
1574
01:17:23.119 --> 01:17:23.640
To the delia?
1575
01:17:23.720 --> 01:17:26.880
That's kind of like going I once to you know why?
1576
01:17:27.039 --> 01:17:29.279
I want to support the deli that that they stay open.
1577
01:17:29.359 --> 01:17:31.239
I think it's an important thing that it's kind of
1578
01:17:31.279 --> 01:17:33.119
like it's on us. We're in this building and we're
1579
01:17:33.159 --> 01:17:35.279
on this floor, and I think they get the shaft
1580
01:17:35.279 --> 01:17:37.039
because there's a lot of food trucks downstairs, and I
1581
01:17:37.039 --> 01:17:38.359
feel bad for them. It's like, wait a minute, when
1582
01:17:38.399 --> 01:17:39.560
you sign your deal, did they say there was going
1583
01:17:39.600 --> 01:17:40.760
to be food trucks here all the time?
1584
01:17:41.119 --> 01:17:43.359
You know, you a business away from that.
1585
01:17:43.479 --> 01:17:45.039
You're opening up a deli here. So I try to
1586
01:17:45.039 --> 01:17:46.560
support them. I trying to go there once a week.
1587
01:17:46.960 --> 01:17:49.840
If you work through your lunch break, you're not alone, okay,
1588
01:17:49.880 --> 01:17:54.399
And it's not just an American thing. Just Rando Australia,
1589
01:17:54.520 --> 01:17:58.760
eighty percent of workers do it. Most said it has
1590
01:17:58.800 --> 01:18:01.000
a negative effect on your mental health. So it's easy
1591
01:18:01.000 --> 01:18:02.840
to do if you've got some sort of a deadline.
1592
01:18:03.079 --> 01:18:05.000
You're in the middle of a project. I get it.
1593
01:18:05.119 --> 01:18:07.600
I mean, if you're running and gunning, you got something going,
1594
01:18:07.960 --> 01:18:10.600
you're working. Who wants to be that guy in the
1595
01:18:10.680 --> 01:18:13.279
room he says, Hey, uh, can we break for lunch.
1596
01:18:13.600 --> 01:18:16.279
It's like, no, h we're in the middle of this.
1597
01:18:17.920 --> 01:18:20.960
But it's important to people now, it's important, they say.
1598
01:18:21.039 --> 01:18:25.800
People are setting lunch alarms. Peep, sorry, boss, gotta go.
1599
01:18:25.960 --> 01:18:28.600
That's my lunch alarm going off. I have to eat
1600
01:18:28.680 --> 01:18:32.520
right now. I have to eat. Do you Oh? Do
1601
01:18:32.800 --> 01:18:36.239
you have the eat right now? We're about to crack
1602
01:18:36.279 --> 01:18:39.560
this case. You're trying to solve a murder, and you
1603
01:18:39.560 --> 01:18:40.359
gotta go for lunch.
1604
01:18:41.079 --> 01:18:43.840
My wife started in a job about a month ago,
1605
01:18:44.039 --> 01:18:46.119
and she said that the first two days, like, she
1606
01:18:46.159 --> 01:18:47.560
didn't eat lunch. And I was like, why didn't you
1607
01:18:47.600 --> 01:18:49.279
just eat at your desk? She's like, I didn't know
1608
01:18:49.279 --> 01:18:50.720
if anybody else was eating at their desk. I was
1609
01:18:50.720 --> 01:18:52.680
assuming they were, but I didn't see anybody else eating,
1610
01:18:52.720 --> 01:18:54.359
So I just didn't want to be the person that
1611
01:18:54.359 --> 01:18:55.840
they whipped out their food like that.
1612
01:18:56.039 --> 01:18:58.000
I'm like that too, you want to just you don't
1613
01:18:58.000 --> 01:18:59.800
be the only guy eating? Yeah, you want to fit in.
1614
01:19:00.039 --> 01:19:01.960
That's like yeah, or you just pick up. I mean,
1615
01:19:02.039 --> 01:19:03.960
I don't know who's got the balls at a new job.
1616
01:19:04.359 --> 01:19:06.119
Just like noon hits and you're just like okay, man,
1617
01:19:06.199 --> 01:19:09.359
I see where you going. Won't going to lunch? We
1618
01:19:09.399 --> 01:19:13.239
don't do that lunch time. Yeah, you know. An expert
1619
01:19:13.239 --> 01:19:16.600
in workplace psychology talked about why working through your lunch
1620
01:19:16.680 --> 01:19:19.880
is a bad habit to get into. You think that
1621
01:19:20.000 --> 01:19:22.840
not taking breaks is making you more productive.
1622
01:19:22.359 --> 01:19:23.800
But where are we going to go with this? You
1623
01:19:23.880 --> 01:19:25.000
know exactly where this is going.
1624
01:19:25.239 --> 01:19:27.159
The trade off is we're not giving our brains a
1625
01:19:27.239 --> 01:19:29.600
chance to rest, and over the long haul, it actually
1626
01:19:29.640 --> 01:19:33.760
makes you less productive. Okay, So there you go, score
1627
01:19:33.800 --> 01:19:35.479
a point for the people that are going to lunch
1628
01:19:35.479 --> 01:19:39.680
and taking time every day. People going as now, you
1629
01:19:39.720 --> 01:19:42.359
can't go hitting snooze like you do in the morning. Okay,
1630
01:19:42.399 --> 01:19:44.880
don't go hit the shoe, Alex hit snooze twelve times
1631
01:19:44.880 --> 01:19:49.840
this mornings twice, all right? Once the alarm. I imagine
1632
01:19:49.880 --> 01:19:51.960
people won't hit snooze on their lunch alarm like they do.
1633
01:19:51.960 --> 01:19:54.520
They're probably not get out of bed alarm. So send
1634
01:19:54.520 --> 01:19:57.680
an alarm for lunch today. The Rod Ryan show on
1635
01:20:00.119 --> 01:20:04.239
the Buzz ninety four or five the Buzz that's bad Omens,
1636
01:20:04.319 --> 01:20:09.439
and just pretend Rod Ryan's show. The thing about bad Omens,
1637
01:20:09.680 --> 01:20:11.760
big band, big band. Yeah, you know what I mean.
1638
01:20:11.800 --> 01:20:12.880
They're playing big halls. Now.
1639
01:20:13.239 --> 01:20:14.840
Guess what they started out.
1640
01:20:14.760 --> 01:20:17.720
As a local band. Okay. I don't know what the
1641
01:20:17.760 --> 01:20:19.479
story is with them. What if they played the high
1642
01:20:19.479 --> 01:20:21.600
school gym. I don't know what they did, but I
1643
01:20:21.760 --> 01:20:25.239
imagine they started playing playing some bars and they started
1644
01:20:25.279 --> 01:20:31.079
out as a local band. Okay, so here's the segue.
1645
01:20:31.479 --> 01:20:34.479
Local bands here in Houston. They're all competing to play
1646
01:20:34.800 --> 01:20:37.960
at Buzzfest. Okay. Buzzfest is going down on Saturday, May
1647
01:20:38.000 --> 01:20:40.600
twenty fourth at the Woodlands Pavilion. Chavelle, Maryland, Manson, Blew
1648
01:20:40.600 --> 01:20:43.720
Out Over, Peody Evans, Blue Stabbing, Westward Sleep Theory. The
1649
01:20:43.960 --> 01:20:47.800
only thing that they absolutely every single one of these
1650
01:20:47.800 --> 01:20:51.880
bands has in common besides playing music, is they all
1651
01:20:51.880 --> 01:20:54.680
started out as a local band. Okay, we have about
1652
01:20:54.680 --> 01:20:58.359
thirty five local bands that want to bring on Buzzfest. Okay,
1653
01:20:58.520 --> 01:21:01.439
I'm not gonna not mention something. If a band comes
1654
01:21:01.439 --> 01:21:03.079
down here to the radio station and I listen, I
1655
01:21:03.079 --> 01:21:05.199
can't tell you what to do. But I'm not gonna
1656
01:21:05.199 --> 01:21:08.439
not mention something. If a band brings down a poster
1657
01:21:08.800 --> 01:21:12.000
that's about five feet by four feet, says, hey, vote
1658
01:21:12.000 --> 01:21:13.760
for us for bring on Buzzfest. What's the band? I
1659
01:21:13.800 --> 01:21:17.560
can't see the name from here. Kenton Plays, Brings on Buzzfest.
1660
01:21:18.159 --> 01:21:19.439
Kenton Plays, Kenton Place.
1661
01:21:19.680 --> 01:21:23.439
Okay, yeah, we know those guys. They're great. Is that
1662
01:21:23.520 --> 01:21:25.079
the singer he jacked.
1663
01:21:24.720 --> 01:21:27.560
Like that Superman to Mono.
1664
01:21:28.079 --> 01:21:31.600
This singer is jacked. So of course of course he
1665
01:21:31.640 --> 01:21:33.640
picked out that picture. He's like this is this really
1666
01:21:33.640 --> 01:21:34.720
makes my muscles look good?
1667
01:21:34.960 --> 01:21:35.079
Yea?
1668
01:21:35.359 --> 01:21:39.479
So they brought this by. They brought this by. Sophia said, hey,
1669
01:21:39.520 --> 01:21:42.800
a band brought something by. Yes, they brought something by.
1670
01:21:43.199 --> 01:21:46.159
It is a It is on like foam core. It's
1671
01:21:46.199 --> 01:21:48.000
a poster of the band and it's got to be
1672
01:21:48.439 --> 01:21:53.880
five by four feet. Kenton Place. Vote for us for
1673
01:21:53.960 --> 01:21:54.920
bring on Buzzfest.
1674
01:21:55.199 --> 01:21:57.960
Keith Fly Captains gave you a pen. They did.
1675
01:21:58.840 --> 01:22:01.000
They did give me some pens, and those pens had
1676
01:22:01.039 --> 01:22:05.760
wonderful flow. Meaning I'm very I'm telling you there's nothing better.
1677
01:22:06.079 --> 01:22:08.720
I do a lot of handwriting, and I write things
1678
01:22:08.720 --> 01:22:11.319
out for the show and everything. There's nothing like a pen.
1679
01:22:11.399 --> 01:22:15.119
That's got that perfect flow. And I remember asking his girlfriend, like,
1680
01:22:15.119 --> 01:22:16.960
where do you get these these are? She goes, I'll
1681
01:22:16.960 --> 01:22:18.319
get you some more. She got me a whole stack
1682
01:22:18.319 --> 01:22:18.600
of them.
1683
01:22:18.640 --> 01:22:19.119
It's awesome.
1684
01:22:19.119 --> 01:22:21.279
I had all this whole thing, a stack of Keith
1685
01:22:21.319 --> 01:22:22.279
Lake Captain's pens.
1686
01:22:23.399 --> 01:22:24.840
Rosie sent a stickers one year.
1687
01:22:24.880 --> 01:22:27.359
I got a Rosie sticker on my laptop at work.
1688
01:22:27.399 --> 01:22:30.840
I'm not gonna not mention that, so I listen. I'm
1689
01:22:30.840 --> 01:22:32.039
a sucker for free Scott.
1690
01:22:32.199 --> 01:22:35.920
I'm just saying, these guys they sent this poster out,
1691
01:22:36.079 --> 01:22:37.640
they sent it over here. It's like, of course they're
1692
01:22:37.640 --> 01:22:39.560
gonna get a mention on the air. Everyone wants to
1693
01:22:39.560 --> 01:22:43.199
mention how there's thirty five bands that are trying to
1694
01:22:43.239 --> 01:22:47.560
get your votes for Bring On Buzzfest. Okay, everyone's doing
1695
01:22:47.600 --> 01:22:49.239
what they can. Here we go. I'm just gonna randomly
1696
01:22:49.239 --> 01:22:52.960
scroll and I'm going to say Kissing Judas is one
1697
01:22:53.000 --> 01:22:56.600
of the bands. Okay, Kid six is one of the bands.
1698
01:22:56.640 --> 01:22:59.600
You can tell them in the case Kerosene Shores, Kenton
1699
01:22:59.680 --> 01:23:04.439
place there. They are so what I need. The bands
1700
01:23:04.439 --> 01:23:07.840
have already been determined on who's eligible. We've got the
1701
01:23:07.840 --> 01:23:10.800
thirty five. We've kind of done that job for you.
1702
01:23:11.800 --> 01:23:14.119
We got it down to thirty five. Now I need you.
1703
01:23:14.119 --> 01:23:16.439
You said you took you said you spent some hours
1704
01:23:16.479 --> 01:23:19.119
on this elli an hour and a half yesterday. Yeah,
1705
01:23:19.199 --> 01:23:21.399
it's gonna take you some time. It's gonna take you
1706
01:23:21.439 --> 01:23:23.560
some time, even if it's just do the math. It's
1707
01:23:23.600 --> 01:23:25.640
thirty five bands. If you listen to two minutes of
1708
01:23:25.680 --> 01:23:27.920
each song, there you go. Now you're looking at over
1709
01:23:27.920 --> 01:23:31.720
an hour. So you go to bring on Buzzfest. Chili's
1710
01:23:31.720 --> 01:23:33.680
got it again for you on links and Guests. I'm
1711
01:23:33.680 --> 01:23:36.039
looking right at it. So if you can pull yourself
1712
01:23:36.039 --> 01:23:39.680
away from Shannon Sharp's girlfriend and get in there and
1713
01:23:39.720 --> 01:23:42.000
start watching some of these bands. Man, I'm asking you
1714
01:23:42.039 --> 01:23:45.159
to to what are you looking for? I mean, it's
1715
01:23:45.199 --> 01:23:49.239
what you like it does. It's a live performance. They
1716
01:23:49.319 --> 01:23:51.600
have to be able to hold their own with those
1717
01:23:51.600 --> 01:23:54.560
bands that I mentioned. I mean, just think about Blue
1718
01:23:54.560 --> 01:23:57.760
October and what an entertainer Justin is, you know what
1719
01:23:57.760 --> 01:23:59.000
I mean. Like, there's a lot of there's a lot
1720
01:23:59.039 --> 01:24:00.800
of pressure there on these bands. You can't just stand
1721
01:24:00.840 --> 01:24:02.640
up there and look at your shoes. You know, you
1722
01:24:02.760 --> 01:24:05.399
got Marilyn Manson, it's gonna be on that same stage
1723
01:24:05.520 --> 01:24:08.680
maybe even watching. Yeah, you don't know, you don't know,
1724
01:24:09.199 --> 01:24:12.960
So do your homework. Go vote on the band that
1725
01:24:13.000 --> 01:24:15.119
you think should bring on Buzzfest. Thank you to our
1726
01:24:15.159 --> 01:24:17.560
friends over at Love Street Blonde for helping us out
1727
01:24:17.600 --> 01:24:19.840
with this. You must cast your vote now at the
1728
01:24:19.840 --> 01:24:20.840
Buzz dot Com.
1729
01:24:20.600 --> 01:24:23.680

1730
01:24:23.760 --> 01:24:35.920
The Rod Ryan Morning Show. I'm six to ten am.
1731
01:24:31.039 --> 01:24:32.479
Ninety four or five the Buzz.
1732
01:24:32.520 --> 01:24:36.159
Good morning, rod Ryan's Show. Thank you so much for
1733
01:24:36.159 --> 01:24:38.760
having us on. What do you got? Oh? Geez eight
1734
01:24:38.840 --> 01:24:41.479
fifty five We gotta move Cloudy's Guy's today, twenty percent
1735
01:24:41.560 --> 01:24:42.239
chance of rain?
1736
01:24:43.560 --> 01:24:44.920
Hi today, I'm about eighty.
1737
01:24:44.720 --> 01:24:47.920
Five one final time now Alex Houston's headlines. Please, good
1738
01:24:47.960 --> 01:24:48.680
morning everyone.
1739
01:24:48.800 --> 01:24:52.039
President Trump announced yesterday that he's giving US car makers
1740
01:24:52.039 --> 01:24:54.760
a break on his twenty five percent tariffs. After major
1741
01:24:54.800 --> 01:24:58.119
automakers like GM and Ford born to tariffs and vehicles
1742
01:24:58.119 --> 01:25:01.800
from Mexico and Canada could hurt America American factories, Trump
1743
01:25:01.800 --> 01:25:04.520
agreed to give rebates on those fees for two years.
1744
01:25:04.520 --> 01:25:07.399
The idea behind this is to give companies the time
1745
01:25:07.600 --> 01:25:10.319
to move production back to the United States. Trump is
1746
01:25:10.319 --> 01:25:13.720
still pushing a tough trade stance, including apostible two hundred
1747
01:25:13.720 --> 01:25:19.119
percent tariff on Chinese made cars built in Mexico. UPS
1748
01:25:19.239 --> 01:25:22.439
is making big changes to its operations. The company's planning
1749
01:25:22.439 --> 01:25:25.439
to cut approximately twenty thousand jobs and close seventy three
1750
01:25:25.439 --> 01:25:28.239
facilities by the end of June this year. This decision
1751
01:25:28.279 --> 01:25:31.079
follows a recent agreement with Amazon to reduce the volume
1752
01:25:31.159 --> 01:25:34.720
of shipments that UPS handles for the e commerce giant
1753
01:25:34.760 --> 01:25:37.800
by over fifty percent by the second half of next year.
1754
01:25:37.800 --> 01:25:42.119
Although Amazon remains UPS's largest customer, CEO Carol Tomate noted
1755
01:25:42.439 --> 01:25:45.520
that the business is not the most profitable, describing it
1756
01:25:45.520 --> 01:25:51.159
as a dilutive to the company's US operations. The clock
1757
01:25:51.279 --> 01:25:53.279
is ticking when it comes to Mother's Day gifts, But
1758
01:25:53.359 --> 01:25:55.760
if you still have it shopped for one month for
1759
01:25:55.800 --> 01:25:58.760
the mom in your life. Mom's in your life includes
1760
01:25:58.800 --> 01:26:00.880
your wife and your mother in law as well, your
1761
01:26:00.920 --> 01:26:04.000
research suggests that you might not have to. A new
1762
01:26:04.039 --> 01:26:06.119
survey reveals is that what moms really want for Mother's
1763
01:26:06.159 --> 01:26:08.319
Day this year is a nap.
1764
01:26:08.640 --> 01:26:10.800
Sandel's Resorts talked to more than.
1765
01:26:10.880 --> 01:26:13.039
Six hundred moms about their wish lists for their special
1766
01:26:13.079 --> 01:26:16.119
holiday and learned that sleep was what they wanted most
1767
01:26:16.119 --> 01:26:18.279
Forty nine percent of moms call a nap with no
1768
01:26:18.359 --> 01:26:21.119
one needing you the ultimate luxury, and over sixty percent
1769
01:26:21.159 --> 01:26:23.199
of moms say that they'd be happy to trade presents
1770
01:26:23.239 --> 01:26:25.520
for the chance to sleep near the Two thirds of
1771
01:26:25.520 --> 01:26:27.159
moms say that they haven't had a nap in the
1772
01:26:27.239 --> 01:26:30.439
last month, and a quarter of mom's surveyed can't even
1773
01:26:30.479 --> 01:26:32.840
remember the last time that they did nap. So maybe
1774
01:26:33.039 --> 01:26:34.880
let your mom get a little rest this Mother's Day,
1775
01:26:34.920 --> 01:26:37.119
but also still get her those those presents.
1776
01:26:37.199 --> 01:26:39.560
I was gonna say, your recommendation is not just handing
1777
01:26:39.560 --> 01:26:40.439
her a nap coupon.
1778
01:26:40.720 --> 01:26:43.199
Here's here's your gifts, Now go off and sleep.
1779
01:26:43.319 --> 01:26:45.680
Okay, So gifts and a nap, yes.
1780
01:26:45.520 --> 01:26:48.239
Okay, all right, that sounds good, that's what they want.
1781
01:26:48.680 --> 01:26:51.279
Carrie Underwood wore a dress on American Idol that she
1782
01:26:51.359 --> 01:26:55.159
wore the year that she won Season four of American
1783
01:26:55.199 --> 01:26:58.159
Idol the show. It was twenty years ago. She was
1784
01:26:58.239 --> 01:27:00.079
twenty two at the time she wore the dress for
1785
01:27:00.159 --> 01:27:03.760
the first time. It's a flowy, green and orange leopard
1786
01:27:03.760 --> 01:27:06.079
print dress, and she brought it back because all of
1787
01:27:06.159 --> 01:27:08.960
the contestants that night were singing the songs from past
1788
01:27:08.960 --> 01:27:11.039
seasons She's had two kids since the first time she
1789
01:27:11.079 --> 01:27:13.279
wear the dress and still looked amazing in them.
1790
01:27:14.720 --> 01:27:15.680
She does look amazing and.
1791
01:27:15.800 --> 01:27:16.439
Looking at girls.
1792
01:27:17.359 --> 01:27:20.640
J Carrie Underwood is royalty around here. She got her
1793
01:27:20.640 --> 01:27:23.920
own blog back good, good good. It's a redundancy. It's
1794
01:27:23.920 --> 01:27:25.479
also I'm looking at girls, but yeah, she has her
1795
01:27:25.520 --> 01:27:26.760
own blog page for sure. Well.
1796
01:27:26.760 --> 01:27:28.600
Famishad Ryan shro page to the buzz dot com check
1797
01:27:28.600 --> 01:27:31.079
it out is. Two bands in the Rock and Roll
1798
01:27:31.079 --> 01:27:33.439
Hall of Fame class at twenty twenty five aren't sure
1799
01:27:33.479 --> 01:27:36.000
if they're going to be performing at the induction ceremony
1800
01:27:36.039 --> 01:27:39.039
this year. Health issues might keep Bad Company watching a
1801
01:27:39.119 --> 01:27:42.079
tribute by someone else. Drummer Simon Kirk alluded to strokes
1802
01:27:42.079 --> 01:27:45.800
suffered by lead singer Paul Rodgers and guitarist Mick Ralfs.
1803
01:27:45.960 --> 01:27:47.880
There is a rumor going around, though, that Kirk and
1804
01:27:47.960 --> 01:27:52.000
Rogers will perform. Bassist Raymond boz Burrell died back in
1805
01:27:52.039 --> 01:27:55.439
two thousand and six. Soundgarden hasn't performed an official show
1806
01:27:55.520 --> 01:27:58.279
since the death of Chris Cornell in twenty seventeen. An
1807
01:27:58.319 --> 01:28:02.079
interview with Billboard, guitarist him Bale says that the band
1808
01:28:02.359 --> 01:28:04.840
needs to make sure that they're ready or ready and
1809
01:28:04.920 --> 01:28:08.479
able to provide the proper reverence for Cornell and the band.
1810
01:28:08.560 --> 01:28:11.399
We think that the daughter will play. I think that
1811
01:28:11.399 --> 01:28:13.159
that sound Garden definitely plays.
1812
01:28:13.199 --> 01:28:17.359
It's got two daughters, got don't Tony is the one
1813
01:28:17.359 --> 01:28:20.520
that you're talking about that we've heard her sing, and
1814
01:28:20.560 --> 01:28:22.399
she sang on the anniversary of his death. I'm good
1815
01:28:22.399 --> 01:28:24.920
morning America. I mean she can sing. I imagine Tony
1816
01:28:24.920 --> 01:28:27.239
would be the one, right. I don't know how do
1817
01:28:27.239 --> 01:28:29.439
you pick? I both daughters sing. Let him do a
1818
01:28:29.479 --> 01:28:32.520
couple of songs each. I just don't know that they rock.
1819
01:28:33.359 --> 01:28:38.000
I know that they can sing. Okay, and she's done.
1820
01:28:38.640 --> 01:28:40.479
Does she do say Hello to Heaven too? Like on
1821
01:28:40.479 --> 01:28:44.239
a TikTok or something? And it's a slow ballady type
1822
01:28:44.279 --> 01:28:47.479
of thing? Do they go that route? And that's that's
1823
01:28:47.479 --> 01:28:50.239
how they honor. There's nobody criticize it. Let me just
1824
01:28:50.279 --> 01:28:52.520
matter what if it's the daughters, you're right, You're right.
1825
01:28:52.560 --> 01:28:55.560
It's full proof that everybody will love it. Somebody will
1826
01:28:55.560 --> 01:28:58.600
find some find some error in it, but.
1827
01:28:58.640 --> 01:29:01.920
Anybody else, it's just respectful that you didn't get Chris's
1828
01:29:02.000 --> 01:29:04.399
family to do it. This gives you the out and
1829
01:29:04.479 --> 01:29:06.039
I think people are gonna still like it.
1830
01:29:06.039 --> 01:29:09.000
It is also not a requirement to play. True, you
1831
01:29:09.039 --> 01:29:11.640
could have just a bunch of all stars out there
1832
01:29:11.680 --> 01:29:14.800
playing your songs. But I think the guys in Soundgarden,
1833
01:29:14.880 --> 01:29:17.439
I think they'd want to play, you know also too,
1834
01:29:17.560 --> 01:29:19.640
but it's the bugaboo who's gonna sing?
1835
01:29:19.840 --> 01:29:20.039
You know?
1836
01:29:20.319 --> 01:29:24.159
Nirvana did it. Nirvana played and they plugged in different
1837
01:29:24.199 --> 01:29:27.600
female singers. So that's been done before. And I don't
1838
01:29:27.600 --> 01:29:28.840
think you didn't just copy that.
1839
01:29:29.199 --> 01:29:30.880
But it works, So why not run a bag?
1840
01:29:31.039 --> 01:29:33.359
I don't know. I don't know. Do you let Nirvana say, Hey,
1841
01:29:33.439 --> 01:29:35.640
that's what you guys came up with. We're Soundgarden. This
1842
01:29:35.680 --> 01:29:36.960
is what we came up with.
1843
01:29:37.119 --> 01:29:39.680
For for you know, just for our lead.
1844
01:29:39.760 --> 01:29:41.800
Maybe it's no longer here. I don't know, but you
1845
01:29:41.840 --> 01:29:43.079
do have the daughter sitting right there.
1846
01:29:43.079 --> 01:29:45.359
You're right, it's just like that seems like it's it's
1847
01:29:45.439 --> 01:29:47.920
just waiting, okay, says Are Easton's headline.
1848
01:29:47.920 --> 01:29:50.359
It'll be fun to see what happens.
1849
01:29:50.960 --> 01:29:53.560
Astros got another win last night to be the Tigers
1850
01:29:53.600 --> 01:29:55.520
six to four. They're gonna wrap up this series with
1851
01:29:55.560 --> 01:29:58.239
the Tigers this afternoon. Aj blue Ball is gonna make
1852
01:29:58.279 --> 01:30:01.479
his first major League start for the Stros.
1853
01:30:01.520 --> 01:30:02.800
He's gonna be going up against the Troitz.
1854
01:30:02.840 --> 01:30:05.000
Jackson Jobe first pitches at one ten and you can
1855
01:30:05.039 --> 01:30:07.840
listen to it on our sister station, Sports Talk seven ninety.
1856
01:30:08.000 --> 01:30:10.479
In basketball, you want to hear that.
1857
01:30:10.720 --> 01:30:16.000
Yeah, Rockets and Warriors played Game five of their first
1858
01:30:16.079 --> 01:30:18.640
round series tonight at the Toyota Center. It's do or
1859
01:30:18.680 --> 01:30:21.039
die for the Rockets. Golden State's up three games to
1860
01:30:21.079 --> 01:30:23.840
one in the series. Rockets are four and a half
1861
01:30:23.880 --> 01:30:26.079
point favorites heading into tonight's game. Tip Off is at
1862
01:30:26.079 --> 01:30:27.880
six thirty, and you can hear it on our sister station,
1863
01:30:28.000 --> 01:30:41.720
Sports Talk seven ninety. That is what's going on in Sports.

1868
01:30:51.000 --> 01:30:56.560
Create My Sacrifice nine oh eight on this wild Card Wednesday,
1869
01:30:56.680 --> 01:31:00.720
number one link by far. This is the gal that's
1870
01:31:00.760 --> 01:31:03.760
tied to all the Shannon Sharp stuff that you're reading about.
1871
01:31:03.880 --> 01:31:06.359
Shannon Sharp getting the headlines right now, actually walking away
1872
01:31:06.359 --> 01:31:11.560
from ESPN, not fired until the preseason claims it was
1873
01:31:11.640 --> 01:31:15.239
his decision to walk away. I think Mickey Mouse said Hey, dude,
1874
01:31:15.560 --> 01:31:19.680
some pretty wild text messages you're releasing walk Away. That's
1875
01:31:19.720 --> 01:31:23.199
a pretty good Mickey Mouse. Disney owns ESPN and ABC.
1876
01:31:23.319 --> 01:31:25.479
I think they said, hey, bro, well there's a lot
1877
01:31:25.520 --> 01:31:27.159
of heat on you right now. Don't you just step
1878
01:31:27.159 --> 01:31:28.840
away for a minute, you know, take a break, go
1879
01:31:28.880 --> 01:31:31.119
to Cabo or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right,
1880
01:31:33.199 --> 01:31:39.000
it's a little too BDSM for us. Those letters put
1881
01:31:39.000 --> 01:31:42.199
together aren't exactly Disney material. Okay, the B, the D
1882
01:31:42.279 --> 01:31:45.039
and the S and the M together like Shannon, you
1883
01:31:45.039 --> 01:31:49.159
can get out the air all right. Cloudy Sky's twenty
1884
01:31:49.199 --> 01:31:51.439
percent chance of rain high of eighty five. Lots of
1885
01:31:51.720 --> 01:31:54.720
emails about Soundgarden right now, which is good. I think
1886
01:31:54.800 --> 01:31:56.880
Number one, most people seem to be very happy that
1887
01:31:56.880 --> 01:31:58.199
they were chosen to be in the Rock and Roll
1888
01:31:58.199 --> 01:32:00.760
Hall of Fame. You know, I'm happy about them. I
1889
01:32:00.760 --> 01:32:02.479
think you got to put the Flannel four in there.
1890
01:32:03.199 --> 01:32:05.640
Alison Chains is the only one that's not in now,
1891
01:32:06.079 --> 01:32:07.359
so I think you got to take a look at
1892
01:32:07.560 --> 01:32:09.920
at Alison Chains. I think I think all Flannel four
1893
01:32:10.880 --> 01:32:12.279
need to be in there. Of course, Pearl Jam and
1894
01:32:12.319 --> 01:32:13.399
Nirvana already.
1895
01:32:13.039 --> 01:32:17.239
In uh, brother Rod.
1896
01:32:17.239 --> 01:32:20.319
I read somewhere that the family of Chris. The family
1897
01:32:20.479 --> 01:32:22.520
of Chris Cornell am not happy with the band. I
1898
01:32:22.560 --> 01:32:24.279
heard his mom is really pissed at them. I think
1899
01:32:24.279 --> 01:32:28.560
they said with all of that stuff, Sam Sam's talking about, like, hey,
1900
01:32:28.560 --> 01:32:30.520
what would you know? What are they gonna do? I
1901
01:32:30.600 --> 01:32:34.880
believe the lawsuits and everything, To my knowledge, I think
1902
01:32:34.920 --> 01:32:37.960
that's been put to bed. Who knows, but I think
1903
01:32:38.000 --> 01:32:40.880
there's an album's worth a material of Soundgarden material out there,
1904
01:32:43.560 --> 01:32:48.039
and I think there's more covers that Chris did on
1905
01:32:48.199 --> 01:32:53.199
his last album, No One Sings like You. Soundgarden Rock
1906
01:32:53.239 --> 01:32:56.039
and Roll Hall of Fame Danny says, Brandy Carlisle is
1907
01:32:56.039 --> 01:33:00.119
a huge Soundgarden fan. She's got a great voice. Or
1908
01:33:00.119 --> 01:33:02.600
maybe Dawtrey could hang on some of those big songs.
1909
01:33:02.880 --> 01:33:04.760
Cornell have the best voice. You're not wrong on that.
1910
01:33:04.760 --> 01:33:08.119
Brandy Carlyle has sung with the guys before, so there
1911
01:33:08.239 --> 01:33:13.560
was a benefit show and her name. The one gal
1912
01:33:13.600 --> 01:33:17.199
that I remember seeing the video is Shanaiah Shepherd, and
1913
01:33:17.239 --> 01:33:19.520
I was wondering, Ben Shepherd is the bass player of Soundgarden.
1914
01:33:19.560 --> 01:33:22.159
I wonder if there's any connection there, but maybe it's
1915
01:33:22.159 --> 01:33:27.039
his wife. Brandy Carlyle also sang this was last December.
1916
01:33:27.680 --> 01:33:29.800
It was a benefits show and it was the guys
1917
01:33:29.800 --> 01:33:31.680
in Soundgarden with these two female singers.
1918
01:33:31.720 --> 01:33:34.079
They called themselves the Nude Dragons.
1919
01:33:34.279 --> 01:33:34.960
I remember that.
1920
01:33:38.319 --> 01:33:38.520
Now.
1921
01:33:38.560 --> 01:33:43.239
As far as somebody singing for Soundgarden ever again, I
1922
01:33:43.279 --> 01:33:48.159
have gone on record and I at least one person,
1923
01:33:48.680 --> 01:33:51.000
Nicole Harvey, went and looked him up. After I said it,
1924
01:33:51.640 --> 01:34:02.840
I said, Richie Cootson is my guy. I don't want
1925
01:33:57.880 --> 01:34:08.239
to that's him playing the bass, the drums, the guitar, singing. Oh,
1926
01:34:08.279 --> 01:34:15.359
he's a force. He can sing anything. He looks cool.
1927
01:34:15.840 --> 01:34:17.960
You could plug and play right now and put him
1928
01:34:18.000 --> 01:34:21.239
in Soundgarden right now. Richie Cootson, just go look at
1929
01:34:21.279 --> 01:34:23.680
some of this guy's stuff. He is a musician's musician.
1930
01:34:23.760 --> 01:34:28.920
He is well respected, okay, don't he spent a little
1931
01:34:28.960 --> 01:34:30.520
time in the band Poison when he was a kid.
1932
01:34:31.000 --> 01:34:33.119
He was like nineteen years old. They kicked CC out
1933
01:34:33.159 --> 01:34:36.479
of the band Poison. They get Richie in there. He's
1934
01:34:36.479 --> 01:34:39.119
a nineteen year old kid, and I think he bangs
1935
01:34:39.119 --> 01:34:42.840
the bass player's girlfriend, so they kick him out short
1936
01:34:43.600 --> 01:34:45.359
like maybe I don't think. I don't think he's in
1937
01:34:45.399 --> 01:34:49.680
Poison for a year. Don't let that ruin his resume. Okay,
1938
01:34:49.880 --> 01:34:52.880
this guy went on and just he's worked with everybody before.
1939
01:34:54.359 --> 01:34:57.359
But I agree with you, Alex. I think the daughters
1940
01:34:57.399 --> 01:34:59.840
are the first choice.
1941
01:35:00.000 --> 01:35:02.720
People can critique it, people can criticize it, but like
1942
01:35:03.399 --> 01:35:04.560
it's the safest option.
1943
01:35:04.720 --> 01:35:09.479
I think it's hard to criticize it. You just do.
1944
01:35:09.680 --> 01:35:10.760
That's his daughters, That's why.
1945
01:35:10.880 --> 01:35:13.720
And to be honest with you, Okay, listen, Soundgarden needs
1946
01:35:13.760 --> 01:35:15.439
to be in the rock and Roll Hall of Fame, agreed,
1947
01:35:15.560 --> 01:35:19.359
But what we're doing right now, I feel like the
1948
01:35:19.399 --> 01:35:21.279
rock and roll Hall of Fame. And there's guys that
1949
01:35:21.319 --> 01:35:23.760
are with iHeartRadio that are responsible for this show now
1950
01:35:23.920 --> 01:35:28.600
putting this thing on television. Right, Who's gonna sing for Soundgarden.
1951
01:35:29.159 --> 01:35:31.399
Let's get them in there so that people will talk
1952
01:35:31.399 --> 01:35:34.319
about this. They want ratings on that TV show. They
1953
01:35:34.359 --> 01:35:39.119
want ratings on that TV show, So nobody's gonna bring
1954
01:35:39.399 --> 01:35:41.800
more eyes to that. If they announced that the daughters
1955
01:35:41.840 --> 01:35:43.960
are singing for Soundgarden, you know what I mean.
1956
01:35:43.920 --> 01:35:45.880
Like, I think they'll get a top. I'll think you've
1957
01:35:45.880 --> 01:35:48.000
got a ton of people that just see because people
1958
01:35:48.039 --> 01:35:50.119
that haven't heard them are going I want to hear.
1959
01:35:50.199 --> 01:35:51.920
A ton of people that maybe wouldn't watch the show
1960
01:35:52.000 --> 01:35:54.840
normally would maybe tune in for that. I agree, it
1961
01:35:54.840 --> 01:35:57.520
would be it would do wonder wonders for that television show,
1962
01:35:58.000 --> 01:36:00.680
you know. But I would check it out.
1963
01:36:00.720 --> 01:36:03.720
And I have not watched any Hall of Fame induct induction.
1964
01:36:03.840 --> 01:36:05.239
Have you ever watched anything of the rock and roll
1965
01:36:05.239 --> 01:36:06.960
Hall of Fames? It's nine and a half hours. I
1966
01:36:06.960 --> 01:36:09.920
don't care. Yeah, I know it is long. It is long,
1967
01:36:10.399 --> 01:36:14.359
all right. Everybody's homework today Richie Copson Kotz and go
1968
01:36:14.399 --> 01:36:20.239
look him up. He's an unbelievable musician too.
1969
01:36:18.359 --> 01:36:21.399
And handsome like Chris Cornell. Geez, get him in there.
1970
01:36:21.800 --> 01:36:29.119
Houston and The Rod Ryan Morning Show six am. The Buzz.
1971
01:36:30.359 --> 01:36:34.119
All right, welcome back rod Ryan Show. On this wild
1972
01:36:34.239 --> 01:36:38.840
Card Wednesday, it's wild Wild It's number one link today,
1973
01:36:38.920 --> 01:36:39.840
Wildcard Wednesday.
1974
01:36:40.520 --> 01:36:42.520
She got a bit of a backstory, so.
1975
01:36:42.760 --> 01:36:44.119
I'll let you kind of figure that one out on
1976
01:36:44.159 --> 01:36:45.840
your own. Now, likes you ready?
1977
01:36:45.880 --> 01:36:49.159
I am ready? Well, let's go online.
1978
01:36:49.640 --> 01:36:54.000
It's Alix online the Muzz.
1979
01:36:54.079 --> 01:36:54.840
All right, here we go.
1980
01:36:55.560 --> 01:36:58.479
Today's aay. Well, I've done similar ones like this, but
1981
01:36:58.640 --> 01:37:02.439
it's always fun. Tattoos and you just just see bad
1982
01:37:02.479 --> 01:37:06.840
tattoos people got. My favorite is the third one you'll see,
1983
01:37:06.880 --> 01:37:09.720
and it's just a really really bad, grateful dead skull.
1984
01:37:10.199 --> 01:37:12.159
She's like, oh yeah, I've got I'm gonna fix up
1985
01:37:12.199 --> 01:37:15.000
the lines a little bit. And the lines are any
1986
01:37:15.119 --> 01:37:18.279
way more than just a little bit of tech on it.
1987
01:37:18.279 --> 01:37:21.560
It's like the skulls all like diagonal when it should
1988
01:37:21.560 --> 01:37:25.119
be just up and down. It's it's pretty bad. You
1989
01:37:25.159 --> 01:37:27.039
see flowers that don't look like flowers.
1990
01:37:27.239 --> 01:37:30.319
I think you know, obviously a misspelling is going to
1991
01:37:30.319 --> 01:37:32.960
be the number one thing, or is it? I think
1992
01:37:33.000 --> 01:37:37.920
the number one misfire tattoo fail if you go to
1993
01:37:37.920 --> 01:37:41.880
somebody that just can't do portraits, the portraits.
1994
01:37:41.640 --> 01:37:44.560
Because you look at it they show you before right
1995
01:37:44.640 --> 01:37:46.079
when they have to put the temporary thing on to
1996
01:37:46.159 --> 01:37:46.560
go over.
1997
01:37:46.800 --> 01:37:49.479
That's the scariest tattoo for me to get is a portrait.
1998
01:37:49.640 --> 01:37:53.199
I don't have any portraits. You have to go to somebody.
1999
01:37:53.239 --> 01:37:55.039
And I've told the story before, Like the guy that
2000
01:37:55.439 --> 01:37:57.520
the guy that I last went to to get ink,
2001
01:37:58.479 --> 01:38:00.840
he said, I'll turn people away. It's just that's not
2002
01:38:00.960 --> 01:38:03.840
my forte. You have to go to if somebody that's
2003
01:38:03.880 --> 01:38:05.600
the best, the person you want to go to if
2004
01:38:05.600 --> 01:38:09.039
they don't specialize in particularly what you're looking for, and
2005
01:38:09.079 --> 01:38:12.359
a portrait is a specific skill set, not everybody can
2006
01:38:12.359 --> 01:38:14.479
do it. He's like, that's not that's not I'm not
2007
01:38:14.520 --> 01:38:16.359
great at that. That's not like I can do it,
2008
01:38:16.600 --> 01:38:19.720
but it's not what I'm great at. Yeah, that's the
2009
01:38:19.720 --> 01:38:20.880
tattoo artists you want to go to.
2010
01:38:21.199 --> 01:38:22.359
So that's the scariest.
2011
01:38:22.399 --> 01:38:23.560
Don't want to go to any of these.
2012
01:38:23.600 --> 01:38:26.039
This girl's got the moon's auld on her back and
2013
01:38:26.079 --> 01:38:29.439
they're not even like in a straight line. They're all
2014
01:38:29.439 --> 01:38:31.239
over the place. They don't even really look like moons.
2015
01:38:31.680 --> 01:38:34.079
Some of these that were done at uncle's k kitchen table.
2016
01:38:34.159 --> 01:38:36.760
Oh yeah, prison looking tattoo. Yeah, there's some really bad
2017
01:38:36.800 --> 01:38:38.079
portrait ones if you could check.
2018
01:38:38.159 --> 01:38:38.880
Yeah, they're bad.
2019
01:38:39.199 --> 01:38:41.079
See some tattoo fails at the world famous rod Ryan
2020
01:38:41.079 --> 01:38:42.479

early may Chilli, you got a second? I believe I
2029
01:39:13.640 --> 01:39:15.960
can squeeze you in. Thank you. I know I didn't
2030
01:39:15.960 --> 01:39:17.800
make an appointment or anything, but yeah, I don't let
2031
01:39:17.840 --> 01:39:19.119
it happen again doing a drop in?
2032
01:39:20.720 --> 01:39:21.199
Did you?
2033
01:39:21.279 --> 01:39:23.720
Did you choose or select somebody for read my lips?
2034
01:39:23.720 --> 01:39:24.880
Are you waiting till the end of the show?
2035
01:39:24.960 --> 01:39:25.760
I actually did.
2036
01:39:26.119 --> 01:39:29.319
I started working ahead and called a couple of people
2037
01:39:29.359 --> 01:39:30.520
in the answers, so I got.
2038
01:39:30.439 --> 01:39:31.319
A little paranoid.
2039
01:39:32.119 --> 01:39:37.399
Finally somebody answer, and this confirmed So, uh, Jesse South
2040
01:39:37.520 --> 01:39:42.079
say that Jesse from Lamark, she'll be playing against me.
2041
01:39:42.159 --> 01:39:44.960
So all right.
2042
01:39:45.079 --> 01:39:48.760
I told her to prepare for a whooping. That's all
2043
01:39:48.800 --> 01:39:50.800
I said. That's what you told everybody. Dude, You've been
2044
01:39:50.800 --> 01:39:52.920
beat by these listeners week in, week out.
2045
01:39:53.760 --> 01:39:55.079
I'm just preparing for the worst.
2046
01:39:56.319 --> 01:39:58.319
All right. So you felt real confident that Jesse was
2047
01:39:58.359 --> 01:40:00.039
going to be here, Yeah, don't. But checked and and
2048
01:40:00.079 --> 01:40:00.399
I told her.
2049
01:40:00.439 --> 01:40:01.479
I was like, hey, you know, you might have to
2050
01:40:01.560 --> 01:40:02.960
leave your house like at five point thirty.
2051
01:40:03.000 --> 01:40:04.520
And she was like, oh, yeah, I'll be there.
2052
01:40:04.640 --> 01:40:05.199
I'll be there.
2053
01:40:05.319 --> 01:40:07.319
I'll be there, she's got a drive in the morning.
2054
01:40:07.359 --> 01:40:11.319
Yeah, so she sounded committed. So if not, if not,
2055
01:40:11.399 --> 01:40:12.840
she laying the mark down, you know.
2056
01:40:13.279 --> 01:40:17.520
Jesse from Lamark taking on the Chile tomorrow read my
2057
01:40:17.560 --> 01:40:20.079
lips eight twenty. Very good.
2058
01:40:20.159 --> 01:40:22.159
Thank you, thank you, Thank you, sir.
2059
01:40:25.880 --> 01:40:29.760
I want to be very clear about this. I don't
2060
01:40:29.760 --> 01:40:33.520
see this as a trend. I do see this as
2061
01:40:33.600 --> 01:40:39.800
maybe a pretty funny one off. What you got, Well,
2062
01:40:39.880 --> 01:40:45.159
a woman is going viral on TikTok for her story.
2063
01:40:45.399 --> 01:40:47.800
You know what pay it forward means? Like, let's talk
2064
01:40:47.880 --> 01:40:51.439
like going through the drive through and you pay it forward.
2065
01:40:51.479 --> 01:40:53.079
It's like, hey, I'd like to take care of the
2066
01:40:53.159 --> 01:40:54.000
car behind me.
2067
01:40:54.239 --> 01:40:56.000
You just hope that they're not going to get fifty
2068
01:40:56.039 --> 01:40:58.199
five burgers, fifty five fries. It's a by shakes, fifty
2069
01:40:58.199 --> 01:40:58.920
five everything else.
2070
01:40:59.000 --> 01:41:00.640
Yeah, you're right. It's like, oh, the guy in front
2071
01:41:00.680 --> 01:41:02.640
of you paid. It's like, oh, you you pay for
2072
01:41:02.680 --> 01:41:03.760
the person behind them.
2073
01:41:04.520 --> 01:41:07.199
And it kind.
2074
01:41:07.039 --> 01:41:08.439
Of puts you in a spot where you have to
2075
01:41:08.479 --> 01:41:10.439
decide whether you're gonna do it for the next person
2076
01:41:10.520 --> 01:41:13.039
or not. When you just find out the car in
2077
01:41:13.079 --> 01:41:16.119
front of you bought yours, like, well, what but they
2078
01:41:16.199 --> 01:41:18.880
order behind me? You know I don't do it. Have
2079
01:41:18.920 --> 01:41:20.319
you ever been involved in it? I don't go through
2080
01:41:20.399 --> 01:41:23.439
drive through, so is it I picked up Starbucks.
2081
01:41:22.880 --> 01:41:24.840
One time for my wife and I said, no, I'm
2082
01:41:24.840 --> 01:41:25.880
not going to continue this.
2083
01:41:26.520 --> 01:41:29.199
You were, you were the end of the chain. Yeah,
2084
01:41:29.359 --> 01:41:31.399
you said no, I'm not picking up one thing.
2085
01:41:31.439 --> 01:41:33.479
And I was like, I didn't ask them to do that.
2086
01:41:34.439 --> 01:41:35.159
I don't like it.
2087
01:41:35.159 --> 01:41:36.319
It makes it.
2088
01:41:35.840 --> 01:41:38.439
It's very pushy. It's like when you're checking out, like
2089
01:41:38.439 --> 01:41:40.239
did you want to help Holma's pets.
2090
01:41:40.359 --> 01:41:40.840
Like I do?
2091
01:41:40.880 --> 01:41:42.640
But I don't want to give you guys five dollars?
2092
01:41:42.840 --> 01:41:46.239
Well okay, well then okay. You were involved in one
2093
01:41:46.520 --> 01:41:47.960
and you were involved in stopping it.
2094
01:41:48.039 --> 01:41:49.760
The only time I ever been involved, I was the
2095
01:41:49.760 --> 01:41:50.399
stock killing.
2096
01:41:50.520 --> 01:41:54.199
The joy of pay it forward it's not joy, it's pressure.
2097
01:41:55.680 --> 01:41:58.720
A woman is going viral on TikTok right now for
2098
01:41:58.840 --> 01:42:02.000
sharing her experience of someone paying it backward.
2099
01:42:03.960 --> 01:42:04.560
Samantha.
2100
01:42:05.760 --> 01:42:08.079
She was at a Duncan drive through last week, or
2101
01:42:08.119 --> 01:42:10.680
as my friend's in Boston like to call it Dunkey.
2102
01:42:12.159 --> 01:42:14.880
She pulled up to the window and the clerk told
2103
01:42:14.880 --> 01:42:17.479
her that the guy ahead of her, who had already
2104
01:42:17.560 --> 01:42:21.000
driven off, told them that she would be paying for
2105
01:42:21.119 --> 01:42:27.399
his order now. In the caption, she said to the
2106
01:42:27.479 --> 01:42:30.680
random guy in front of me who lied to the employee,
2107
01:42:31.359 --> 01:42:34.079
I hope you have the day you deserve.
2108
01:42:35.319 --> 01:42:35.439
So.
2109
01:42:35.479 --> 01:42:38.000
She later posted a follow up where she clarified that
2110
01:42:38.039 --> 01:42:40.720
she did not pay for his order and the Duncan
2111
01:42:40.760 --> 01:42:43.439
employee was very cool about it, even though they were
2112
01:42:43.479 --> 01:42:45.359
kind of frustrated that the guy ahead of them essentially
2113
01:42:45.359 --> 01:42:47.439
stole his coffee.
2114
01:42:47.600 --> 01:42:50.199
He went for it and he got to respect the
2115
01:42:50.239 --> 01:42:53.199
move and he I, it's not right.
2116
01:42:53.399 --> 01:42:55.479
You just told me you didn't like the real nice one,
2117
01:42:55.680 --> 01:42:58.439
but you like the crappy one like Duncan Donuts is
2118
01:42:58.439 --> 01:42:59.000
gonna be okay.
2119
01:42:59.079 --> 01:43:01.399
Giving a guy a coffee and maybe uh, you know,
2120
01:43:01.600 --> 01:43:06.199
a donut, they're not gonna It's not gonna kill Duncan Donuts.
2121
01:43:09.079 --> 01:43:11.039
She also shared a video alex I know this will
2122
01:43:11.039 --> 01:43:13.880
infuriate you of her trying to restore goodness to the world,
2123
01:43:13.920 --> 01:43:16.119
and she went back to Duncan and paid for the
2124
01:43:16.119 --> 01:43:19.319
person behind her. But make sure she filmed it though, right,
2125
01:43:19.399 --> 01:43:24.840
so that's how you know. Okay, this pay it backward
2126
01:43:25.199 --> 01:43:27.880
is not a trend, but I think it's funny that
2127
01:43:28.159 --> 01:43:32.600
the worker fell for it. Yeah, the kid in the window.
2128
01:43:32.720 --> 01:43:34.680
I'm not even giving them a hard time. I'm not
2129
01:43:34.880 --> 01:43:36.359
and I don't know if it's a kid. I'm just
2130
01:43:36.359 --> 01:43:38.520
saying there's a kid in the window, and there's a
2131
01:43:38.560 --> 01:43:42.239
guy that's real convincing saying, dude, pay it backwards, like
2132
01:43:42.920 --> 01:43:43.880
she's gonna grab this.
2133
01:43:44.079 --> 01:43:47.359
That kid's making like eleven bucks an hour, and he's like, yeah, okay.
2134
01:43:47.279 --> 01:43:51.119
Cool, all right, and then he's got to tell the person, Hey,
2135
01:43:51.840 --> 01:43:53.840
that guy said you were gonna pay for his coffee.
2136
01:43:53.840 --> 01:43:55.720
As he's peeling out of the driveway.
2137
01:43:56.399 --> 01:43:59.039
Uh, that's pretty great. All right.
2138
01:43:59.720 --> 01:44:02.079
There they went for it, paid backward.
2139
01:44:02.239 --> 01:44:04.560
Tim Robbinson Show, I think you should leave as like
2140
01:44:04.640 --> 01:44:07.439
the famous skit where he does that, except he's trying
2141
01:44:07.439 --> 01:44:09.239
to do this. You start the chain and then you
2142
01:44:09.279 --> 01:44:10.880
swing around and go back, and then you order a
2143
01:44:10.920 --> 01:44:13.119
bunch of food. We got you started. I'd like to
2144
01:44:13.159 --> 01:44:14.520
pay for the guy behind me, But then you got
2145
01:44:14.560 --> 01:44:17.279
to get behind a guy behind you, so he has it.
2146
01:44:17.359 --> 01:44:19.439
You've ordered fifty five of everything.
2147
01:44:19.479 --> 01:44:20.600
All right, Well that's funny.
2148
01:44:21.279 --> 01:44:22.520
Don't try this at home, kids.
2149
01:44:23.880 --> 01:44:25.159
Rod Ryan Show, All.
2150
01:44:27.319 --> 01:44:35.279
Empire upon an Empire twenty four or five buzz, Good Morning,
2151
01:44:35.399 --> 01:44:41.840
rod Ryan Show. Pearl Jam's better man. Well, my curiosity
2152
01:44:41.880 --> 01:44:44.880
got the better of me. Alex. Yeah, I never do this.
2153
01:44:45.520 --> 01:44:49.159
I never ever do this, and I just did. I'm
2154
01:44:49.159 --> 01:44:51.479
going to see Pearl Jam on Saturday. They're playing jazz
2155
01:44:51.479 --> 01:44:54.239
Fest in New Orleans. So I got the kid and uh,
2156
01:44:54.319 --> 01:44:58.520
we're going and uh, I just said to myself, I
2157
01:44:58.560 --> 01:45:00.319
wonder if they do this song live. It's been a
2158
01:45:00.359 --> 01:45:03.239
couple of years since I've seen Pearl Jam. Dude, I
2159
01:45:03.279 --> 01:45:07.439
went to the set list they played. Yes, I did.
2160
01:45:07.520 --> 01:45:10.720
That's the website I'm on right now. Do you want
2161
01:45:10.760 --> 01:45:13.800
to know what the bands are playing before you go
2162
01:45:13.840 --> 01:45:15.840
see them or would you rather be surprised. I like
2163
01:45:15.880 --> 01:45:17.840
to make a little playlist of it and then you
2164
01:45:17.880 --> 01:45:18.600
can get.
2165
01:45:18.479 --> 01:45:20.359
Ready for like, all right now, I know which one
2166
01:45:20.359 --> 01:45:22.399
we're going into, and then sometimes they changed ut be like,
2167
01:45:22.399 --> 01:45:23.840
oh what why are they playing this one?
2168
01:45:24.159 --> 01:45:24.640
I don't know.
2169
01:45:25.000 --> 01:45:27.039
Pearl Jam has a million songs and they're real jamming
2170
01:45:27.039 --> 01:45:29.159
and they've they've built their career. I'm playing live, so
2171
01:45:29.159 --> 01:45:30.880
imagine they could mix up this set list a lot.
2172
01:45:30.880 --> 01:45:32.800
I don't think they're locked into the same set. I
2173
01:45:32.800 --> 01:45:34.720
don't know. I've only looked at one day they played
2174
01:45:34.800 --> 01:45:39.520
last night, Pearl Jam played State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
2175
01:45:40.239 --> 01:45:42.920
They didn't play better Man is like one of the
2176
01:45:42.920 --> 01:45:46.000
biggest songs ever, you would think. I mean, I think
2177
01:45:46.000 --> 01:45:48.199
it might be the best song. It might be the
2178
01:45:48.239 --> 01:45:50.680
best song that Eddi Vedder ever wrote. Better Man. It's
2179
01:45:50.680 --> 01:45:51.520
not my favorite.
2180
01:45:52.119 --> 01:45:53.279
It might be the best.
2181
01:45:53.000 --> 01:45:56.079
Song he's ever written. Now are they playing Given to Fly? Yes,
2182
01:45:57.359 --> 01:46:00.399
this is one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs.
2183
01:46:01.159 --> 01:46:02.359
I've got to play.
2184
01:46:02.439 --> 01:46:04.880
I've been on record of saying Pearl Jam's first album,
2185
01:46:05.119 --> 01:46:08.520
Start to Finish ten amazing album. I love every song
2186
01:46:08.560 --> 01:46:12.239
on it. I might like five pro Jam songs after
2187
01:46:12.239 --> 01:46:17.359
that first album, maybe five. They're just Jammy to me.
2188
01:46:17.560 --> 01:46:18.680
Yeah, all right, here we go.
2189
01:46:18.680 --> 01:46:21.840
Do you think of this ukulele album Can't Keep They
2190
01:46:21.880 --> 01:46:24.920
opened with last Night Nothing Man? I know. Given the
2191
01:46:25.000 --> 01:46:29.279
Fly was the third song once there you Go, Scared
2192
01:46:29.319 --> 01:46:33.119
of Fear, Wreckage, even flow at seven? What were you
2193
01:46:33.159 --> 01:46:36.680
asking about Jeremy? Yeah, that Jammy daughter is on there.
2194
01:46:38.640 --> 01:46:41.039
This is not for you. They do not for you.
2195
01:46:41.800 --> 01:46:45.880
Jeremy fifteen song on the set Porch from the first
2196
01:46:45.880 --> 01:46:50.479
album seventeenth. Then they do an encore, Uh, keep Me
2197
01:46:50.520 --> 01:46:52.279
in your Heart a warren Zevon cover.
2198
01:46:52.279 --> 01:46:54.840
Nice Hall of Fame inductee.
2199
01:46:55.800 --> 01:46:59.199
Do the Revolutions Spin The Black Circle Alive is the
2200
01:46:59.239 --> 01:47:02.359
third to the last song I've seen him. Every time
2201
01:47:02.359 --> 01:47:04.479
I've seen him, I think they've done Baba O'Reilly the
2202
01:47:04.520 --> 01:47:09.159
Who cover, and then they end with indifference. So it's
2203
01:47:09.199 --> 01:47:12.520
it's sprinkled in there with hits. I'm not saying that
2204
01:47:12.560 --> 01:47:14.479
I don't know all of those songs. There's some some
2205
01:47:14.640 --> 01:47:16.680
that aren't familiar with me just by title alone. But
2206
01:47:18.359 --> 01:47:21.000
you're pretty happy with that, Yeah, pretty happy with that.
2207
01:47:21.199 --> 01:47:21.399
You know.
2208
01:47:21.520 --> 01:47:24.439
It seems like every that you want better every third
2209
01:47:24.640 --> 01:47:28.920
song better Man would kill Live? Yeah, better Man would
2210
01:47:29.000 --> 01:47:35.039
crush live. So in rear view mirror, but I don't
2211
01:47:35.039 --> 01:47:38.520
see that on the list either. It's time for another show. Well,
2212
01:47:38.560 --> 01:47:40.359
it's time to at least tell you about know the show.
2213
01:47:40.399 --> 01:47:42.800
I've got to take a break on the Flip. Alex
2214
01:47:42.880 --> 01:47:45.359
is gonna ask you a question about today's show, and
2215
01:47:45.680 --> 01:47:48.479
the winner is going to get Buzzfest tickets to come
2216
01:47:48.479 --> 01:47:50.880
out and party with us on Saturday, May twenty fourth,
2217
01:47:51.319 --> 01:47:53.520
So quick Break and All the Flip will be back
2218
01:47:53.560 --> 01:47:54.079

01:48:04.479 --> 01:48:06.520
were talking about Pearl Jam. I looked up their set
2223
01:48:06.520 --> 01:48:09.319
list from last night. Justin said, Rot, all you gotta
2224
01:48:09.319 --> 01:48:11.039
do is look around Pearl Jam. The set list from
2225
01:48:11.039 --> 01:48:14.279
April twenty sixth totally different. They do better Man and
2226
01:48:14.399 --> 01:48:17.680
Yellow Lead Better. Okay, So I think Pearl Jam does that.
2227
01:48:17.760 --> 01:48:20.760
I think they have a different, unique set. It's just
2228
01:48:20.840 --> 01:48:23.760
you know, you hope that they play your favorite song
2229
01:48:24.319 --> 01:48:26.359
when you happen to see them that night, but they
2230
01:48:26.439 --> 01:48:27.560
just have a million songs.
2231
01:48:27.680 --> 01:48:30.800

2253
01:49:31.039 --> 01:49:33.000

2254
01:49:33.039 --> 01:49:36.159
get outside, touch a little grass, as we like to
2255
01:49:36.199 --> 01:49:37.239
say around these parts.

Do do do do do.
2263
01:49:58.239 --> 01:50:04.600
Good morning. Hello, Hi, who's this Jonathan? Jonathan? Welcome to
2264
01:50:04.600 --> 01:50:04.920
the show.
2265
01:50:04.960 --> 01:50:06.880
How are you good?
2266
01:50:06.960 --> 01:50:07.199
Are you?
2267
01:50:07.199 --> 01:50:07.680
Brother? Rod?
2268
01:50:08.119 --> 01:50:08.600
So great?
2269
01:50:08.840 --> 01:50:11.439
Thank you for asking. I'd like to get you a
2270
01:50:11.520 --> 01:50:13.840
pair of tickets to Buzzfest. Don't f it up?
2271
01:50:14.000 --> 01:50:14.199
Yeah?
2272
01:50:14.199 --> 01:50:19.159
I don't, Alex. What do you got for a question?
2273
01:50:19.239 --> 01:50:19.439
There?
2274
01:50:19.479 --> 01:50:21.319
All right? We talked about a new thing that people
2275
01:50:21.359 --> 01:50:24.239
are setting alarms for today, and what was that?
2276
01:50:25.560 --> 01:50:29.920
They are lunchtime alarm? Lunch alarms? Yes, Jonathan, Are you
2277
01:50:29.960 --> 01:50:32.079
a guy that you work during the day.
2278
01:50:34.039 --> 01:50:37.600
Yeah, my job time to flow, but I usually have
2279
01:50:37.640 --> 01:50:38.600
time to take a lunch.
2280
01:50:38.720 --> 01:50:41.079
But everyone's going to blue moon off toward through it.
2281
01:50:42.000 --> 01:50:46.239
How often do you take a break for lunch or
2282
01:50:46.279 --> 01:50:48.920
it's just lunch, You're not you're not answering calls, you're
2283
01:50:48.920 --> 01:50:50.720
not on the computer, You're just having lunch in the
2284
01:50:50.720 --> 01:50:52.159
middle of the day. How often does that happen during
2285
01:50:52.159 --> 01:50:55.000
the week for you?
2286
01:50:55.079 --> 01:50:56.880
Probably every day, every day.
2287
01:50:56.920 --> 01:50:58.880
A couple of weeks, yeah, every couple of weeks.
2288
01:50:58.880 --> 01:50:59.680
I hought to work through it.
2289
01:50:59.680 --> 01:51:02.119
But okay, so most days there you go, all right,
2290
01:51:02.199 --> 01:51:05.359
this guy takes a lunch, got the best there, got
2291
01:51:05.359 --> 01:51:07.319
the best mental health out of all of us. Right now,
2292
01:51:07.680 --> 01:51:10.399
My dad I working with these psychos at work eating
2293
01:51:10.439 --> 01:51:13.800
at their desk every day. Dude, congratulations, man, you're the
2294
01:51:13.800 --> 01:51:17.760
big winner Today'm goenna give you tickets to go see Busfest. Okay, awesome,
2295
01:51:17.760 --> 01:51:18.279
I appreciate it.
2296
01:51:18.359 --> 01:51:21.079
That's my first time going to Bustest. I'm excited. Nice.
2297
01:51:21.520 --> 01:51:23.399
How does that happen that you've never been to Busfest before.
2298
01:51:23.399 --> 01:51:26.359
That's crazy to me. Oh, I never get through.
2299
01:51:26.439 --> 01:51:28.119
This is the first time I've gotten through in probably
2300
01:51:28.119 --> 01:51:29.079
like three years.
2301
01:51:29.239 --> 01:51:31.039
Yep. Good to have you on.
2302
01:51:31.119 --> 01:51:33.479
Usually I try to usually try to get some.
2303
01:51:35.000 --> 01:51:37.359
Fresh out of bed because my dad is actually got
2304
01:51:37.439 --> 01:51:38.199
the party bus.
2305
01:51:38.760 --> 01:51:41.960
Your dad is got what gus gus buss.
2306
01:51:42.439 --> 01:51:44.880
Yeah, well he gets through.
2307
01:51:44.920 --> 01:51:46.560
How does your dad get on the phone with us
2308
01:51:46.600 --> 01:51:49.079
more than you because.
2309
01:51:48.760 --> 01:51:50.720
He's up there at like four o'clock for fun.
2310
01:51:51.000 --> 01:51:51.920
So that's what dads do.
2311
01:51:51.960 --> 01:51:54.520
They get up at four o'clock, like you said, for fun,
2312
01:51:55.239 --> 01:51:55.680
just for fun.
2313
01:51:56.159 --> 01:51:57.880
When you get up at four and I'm just gonna like,
2314
01:51:57.960 --> 01:52:01.560
I'm gonna putter and tinker around the house so that
2315
01:52:01.640 --> 01:52:02.640
nobody bothers me.
2316
01:52:02.640 --> 01:52:04.800
And I can tell anybody they haven't done anything today.
2317
01:52:05.239 --> 01:52:07.119
I hain't your list off all the things I did.
2318
01:52:07.159 --> 01:52:07.720
I ain't gonna lie.
2319
01:52:07.760 --> 01:52:10.039
Yeah, when you come rolling out at eight nine o'clock,
2320
01:52:10.039 --> 01:52:12.399
he's like, you know what, I already built a over.
2321
01:52:12.520 --> 01:52:14.760
I put it an attestment on our garage. There's a
2322
01:52:14.800 --> 01:52:15.920
second floor in our garage.
2323
01:52:15.960 --> 01:52:16.680
I built a deck.
2324
01:52:16.720 --> 01:52:17.640
I did it this morning.
2325
01:52:18.359 --> 01:52:21.399
