Reverend Ken Wilcox is introduced as an excellent teacher and orator. He is a minister in the Science of Mind movement. He has extraordinary talents and has turned his community around.Reverend Wilcox opens with a prayer for universal good. The prayer focuses on knowing something beneficial for oneself and resonating it outwards. It emphasizes the oneness of God as love, joy, and happiness, and opening to wisdom. He shares the inspiring story of Fredel Dicker Brandeise.Brandeise was an art teacher who taught children in a Prague internment camp during the Holocaust. Her story highlights overcoming fear and human limitations through creativity and teaching.Affirmative prayer is most powerful when focused on others.Praying for others helps one step out of doubt and know for certainty. This practice can lead to a decrease in personal wants and a focus on connection and service. The greatest challenge in spiritual mind treatment is getting out of one's own way.Individuals should avoid overthinking or trying to find the 'right' words. The process involves words, visual imagery, and emotion, and then releasing control.Reverend Wilcox's personal spiritual practice is simple and joyful. It involves enjoying coffee with his adopted dog and listening to recorded affirmative prayers for his prayer partner. He also visualizes people living their best lives, incorporating healing into a larger vision of life.Prayers Radio.com 24/7, is a non-denominational spiritual radio station dedicated to providing continuous spiritual prayer for individuals of all faiths.
