In Episode 59 of the PolySoCal Podcast, Alonzo Banx sits down with Michael and Bev for an unusually honest look at a poly relationship that has worked for fourteen years precisely because the two people in it are not trying to be the same. Michael came into the relationship already deeply non-monogamous and committed to living openly and honestly. Bev discovered later in life that monogamy did not fit her either, and that her own nature and attraction to a partner who is sexually free were genuine parts of who she was. That did not mean jealousy, fear, or insecurity disappeared.
