Life rarely turns out exactly how we imagined it would. Despite being nearly 30 years apart in age and at completely different stages of life, we’ve found ourselves navigating many of the same things. Business, relationships, ambition, self-doubt and the constant question of what we actually want our lives to look like. For our first conversation, we wanted to share a little more about who we are, how we became family and business partners, and why we decided to start Everything in Between.
We talk about the reality of building a business and how much of it you simply learn along the way. There are great seasons and really difficult ones, moments where you question yourself and times when the biggest thing standing in your way is your own thinking. We reflect on motherhood, career changes, leadership, working together as family, learning to ask for help and trusting yourself enough to take the next step, even when you don’t have everything figured out.
That’s really what we want Everything in Between to be about. Honest conversations about business, relationships, family, success, burnout, boundaries and all the parts of life we’re still figuring out ourselves. We’re coming at these conversations from two different generations and two very different stages of life, but as we’re learning, we have more in common than we thought. We don’t have all the answers, and we’re not pretending to. We’re just having the conversations, sharing what we’ve learned and talking about everything in between.
