ОТНОСТНО ТОЗИ ЕПИЗОД
I’ve been through much tighter pinches than a community painting class. Even so, unfamiliar expectations and imperfect Spanish gave my brain plenty of unknowns to rehearse.
The actual class brought an open workshop, a jug to draw, helpful advice and an awkward conversation. I’m clearly no Picasso, and my Spanish isn’t ready for an announcer’s microphone—but the drawings were improving.
From a first class in Spain to the wider experience of entering an unfamiliar community, this episode explores how we find a way to participate—and why one uncomfortable exchange doesn’t have to sum up the whole experience.
