ОТНОСТНО ТОЗИ ЕПИЗОД
Greetings,
my dear listeners, ambient nerds, house fans, dub freaks, technoheads and, of course,
drum & bass enthusiasts. This podcast has been covering all of this and much more for seven years now.
And when I started this on a whim back in May 2019, I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined that
I’d still be doing it today. Today, with this episode, we’ve reached number 100.
And of course, this has only been possible thanks to your support – the many listeners and fellow travellers –
and, of course, the fantastic guests. You’ve all helped make this, in my view, very special ESOA podcast
what it is today: a subcultural contribution covering all facets of electronic music.
I’d like to say thank you.
My guest today is, once again, a very special one, and I’m delighted that he’s finally joining the ESOA family.
I really appreciate that, as always.
I’m talking about Andreas Krumm, or Dynamo Dreesen, an artist who perfectly embodies the full scope of the podcast through his DJ sets, his productions and the label Acido or like he say A-tschi-do Records.
It all began back in 1990 in Flensburg with his first experiments in alternative rock, dub, hip hop
and a touch of jungle.
And so, now in his third decade, he’s still going strong.
Initially inspired musically by his idol John Peel, he later - now living in Milan - suddenly found himself
inspired at an antiques market to launch his A-tschi-do label.
Today, his sound falls somewhere within the house genre, whilst drawing extensively from minimal,
funk, electro, jazz, world music and tech genres.
I think his set for the podcast is a masterpiece and therefore worthy of the 100th episode.
Have a listen and enjoy it for yourselves right here: ESOA Podcast 100 by Dynamo Dreesen.
As always, I’m sending a little peace, respect and subcultural solidarity into a world that knows no bounds.
Ciao

Good evening dear friends of electronic music.
My guest today looks back to 1989, when he and his brother created mixtapes in a style mix between rap and acid house, featuring artists such as Bomp the Bass, Adonis, Public Enemy and Ice T. But he was and still is no stranger to punk either.
In 1993…
