00:00:00.880 --> 00:00:05.080
Redeeming Time from Henry the fourth part one by William
2
00:00:05.120 --> 00:00:11.119
Shakespeare read in English, recorded for LibriVox dot Org by
3
00:00:11.160 --> 00:00:16.960
Bob Gonzales. I know you all, and will a while
4
00:00:17.120 --> 00:00:21.480
uphold the unyoked humor of your idleness. Yet herein will
5
00:00:21.480 --> 00:00:25.679
I imitate the Sun, who doth permit the base contagious
6
00:00:25.679 --> 00:00:29.559
clouds to smother up his beauty from the world, that
7
00:00:29.679 --> 00:00:33.920
when he please again to be himself being wonted, he
8
00:00:34.000 --> 00:00:37.159
may be more wondered at by breaking through the foul
9
00:00:37.280 --> 00:00:40.920
and ugly mists of vapors that did seem to strangle him.
10
00:00:42.039 --> 00:00:45.640
If all the year were playing holidays, to sport would
11
00:00:45.640 --> 00:00:48.679
be as tedious as to work. But when they seldom
12
00:00:48.759 --> 00:00:53.719
come they wished fore come, And nothing pleaseth but rare accidents.
13
00:00:54.359 --> 00:00:58.119
So when this loose behavior I throw off and pay
14
00:00:58.200 --> 00:01:01.840
the debt I never promised. By how much better than
15
00:01:01.880 --> 00:01:06.000
my word I am? By so much shall I falsify
16
00:01:06.120 --> 00:01:10.439
men's hopes, And like bright metal on a sullen ground,
17
00:01:11.239 --> 00:01:15.599
my reformation glittering o'er my fault, shall show more goodly
18
00:01:15.640 --> 00:01:19.239
and attract more eyes than that which hath no foil
19
00:01:19.359 --> 00:01:23.400
to set it off. I'll so offend, to make offense
20
00:01:23.439 --> 00:01:28.560
a skill redeeming time. When men think least, I will
21
00:01:31.200 --> 00:01:35.599
end of redeeming time from Henry the Fourth Part one
22
00:01:36.120 --> 00:01:40.319
