Today, I am speaking with an experienced Workamper who traveled the country with her husband and six children for many years. During that time, they bought an RV roofing business and just purchased an established website to help teach others how to get started in the RV lifestyle.
Jennifer Schillaci has spent more than a decade raising a family on the road while building businesses that serve the RV community.
What began as a lifestyle she never imagined embracing has evolved into a career centered on helping fellow RVers travel with confidence.
In this episode, Jennifer shares how her family’s full-time RV journey began after her husband’s retirement from the Marine Corps, what it was like traveling with six children and how an unexpected opportunity led them to become the owners of RV Roofing Solutions.
She also explains how Learn to RV is helping aspiring RVers find trustworthy information from experienced experts rather than relying on questionable advice from social media.
Whether you’re dreaming about full-time RVing, looking for Workamping opportunities or simply curious how one family built a business while traveling the country, Jennifer offers practical insights and plenty of encouragement.
Jennifer’s story demonstrates that success on the road often comes from staying flexible, building strong relationships and looking for opportunities where others see obstacles.
She explained why community is one of the most important ingredients for long-term success in the RV lifestyle.
She also offered advice for choosing the right Workamping positions and encourages people to honor their commitments while making the most of every experience.
Jennifer described opportunities for RV technicians and show teams with RV Roofing Solutions, along with her vision of making Learn to RV a trusted educational resource for new and experienced RVers.
