Lu Dort’s time with the Oklahoma City Thunder has officially come to an end after being traded to the Atlanta Hawks. In this episode, we look back on Dort’s unlikely journey from an undrafted two-way player to one of the defining members of Oklahoma City’s rise into a championship contender.
We share our favorite Dort memories, revisit his development over the years and discuss what he ultimately meant to the Thunder organization, the fan base and the identity of this team. We also examine what his next chapter could look like in Atlanta and how he fits alongside the Hawks’ current core.
Finally, we turn our attention to Oklahoma City’s future. Who replaces Dort in the starting lineup? Which young players will be asked to fill his defensive and leadership void?
