Find your local station for The Odd Couple at Fox Sports Radio dot com or stream us live every day or the iHeartRadio app by searching f s R party. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Yes, indeed, we are the I Couple. I'm Chris and he's the odd One Rob. We're live from the Tirec dot Com studios. What will help you get there? That's what tirect dot com says. They've got an unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection, and more than ten thousand recommended installers. Tirec dot Com is the way tire buying should be. Rob. So Chris Uh, I got in the mail from my high school homeroom teacher, Miss Silver, from high school Martin Van Buren High School. She had some old clippings from the school newspaper and she sent them to me. I got them. I mean we've been friendly and stayed in touch always. I graduated high school forty years ago. She was my homeroom teacher the whole four years. Miss silver. And one of the stories in the paper was a letter that I wrote to the newspaper teacher, mister Marcus, basically telling them about being in college getting my first newspaper job, how much money I was making, Chris and everything. These letters from nineteen eighty four. And my first newspaper job was at the New Haven Register. You noticed Chris taking high school scores over the phone and then writing little roundups and all that. And so I write in this letter, how I got my first newspaper gig or whatever, and I'm making five dollars an hour and worked ten or twelve hours a week. Yeah. Man, Now so you were in college doing that? Yeah, I was in college. I was. I was nineteen nineteen eighty four, so I would have been twenty years a stringer. You were a stringer exactly. So I was. You were in the in I was at the paper, you know, answering phones and whatnot. Different, Rob g and al. What's the least amount of money you made? Christ? Can you remember back was your first life and at in journalist? No, just any job, because that was five dollars. I mean, people can't even believe that I made five dollars an hour it wasn't. I mean, you know, I'm a I'm a lot younger than you, so it was you know, minimum minimum wage wasn't five dollars. I don't know. But I worked at Burger King, I worked at Dairy Queen. So you worked at work. Yeah, great steak escape. I loved it because you could eat eat you know you were eating eating that food. Um, but I don't know, but but yeah, centies than what you say, right, because my first job out of college was as you know, at the Cleveland Playing Dealer and I was from three My job was from three to twelve three people remember was it a full time job or where you put part time? It was about it was thirty five hours a week. I believe it wasn't enough to be full time, right, you need like forty to get benefits and before right, right and right rob. This was obviously before the internet. You know. We would sit and it was I was. There were several of us. We would sit in the news room in the sports room, and our job was to answer the phones when people called, because back then people would call like hey, my buddies and I were trying to we arguing over who was the starting five for the Cavs at the Miracle in Richfield. Who can you guys settle this one? Like you would? People would call up for trivia and then they were or would be hanging out and then you have to go rib look it up and find out or Rob. A lot of the times you're just sitting there we talking. I was reading books, I mean literally, like literally reading books that weren't even sports books at a lot of times in the sport. You know, That's how we started. So people think we just woke up and we're on the radio ESPN all that. No, you we had to pay our dudes, man five an hour. I don't think I ever made that little. Like I said, I'm a lot younger. Yeah, the laws were more humane by the time I started working, Rob, g are you there? I'm always here, Rob, real quick. The least you made an hour, like for an actual because I mean when when I was double figures, probably right when I interned here, it was free. Um when I did that for six months, but actual paying jobs, the lowest I ever made was nine dollars an hour. So nine dollars okay, that's not bad. And Alex was making it rain back then. Yeah, nine dollars. You're kidding me. I was like, whatever you want from McDonald's, I got you. I'm worried about it, right right, Let's let's go into this top real quick. Yeah quickly. I was just like CB having a ad libs. I could see this long story short. I started, like cbing high school. We had this program called work Experience, so you could get out basically at lunch times. So I would leave halfway through the day every day. And I worked at pizza for my first job, and it was like ten bucks an hour. Okay, yeah it was. It was a lot of fun because I'd make my own pies the way I wanted and take them home every day. It was exactly. I love working at a restaurant. All you high school kids out there, go get a job. I also had a paper route, so I know I wasn't making five dollars and that five dollars cheap. I don't know what that I was making, but it was. It was very little. But anyway, um, rob the Clippers beat the Lakers? Was it the tenth straight time? Rob G? I know you know, Chris is a matchup situation. They the Lakers can't beat the Clippers. Nah, nah. Even last night when Lebron had a tremendous game forty six points, Robbie blown out of fourteen threes. If if Lebron's gonna shoot that way from three, he's gonna have forty plus because we know he can score in the lane and its mid range. You know, attack is pretty good. So um, he had forty six and like you said, Rob, they still got blasted. It wasn't like really in doubt for essentially the whole game one thirty three, one fifteen. But Paul George talked about the thirty eight year old Lebron and just what he's doing this year. We know he's averaging thirty points a game. Uh, let's hear from Paul George about Lebron. The league is his, you know, the league is his. Um, stand up guy. Uh, you know, have been an amazing mentor leader to a lot of us young guys. And uh, you know, you know he's he's he's been awesome. You know, he's he's been awesome. It's great that he'll be the scoring leader. Rob. You you got beef. First of all, I mean that's a nice comment after they got blowed out. You're gonna give Lebron credit. Hey, Lebron, the league's yours. That's tremendous. You just scored forty six. You unbelievable. Wow, you're gonna lead the league is scored, but your team's not gonna make the playoffs? Playoffs? Are you kidding me? Playoffs? I mean, what Chris if he scored forty six and they beat the Clippers and they put together three wins in a row after that big comeback in Portland or something. Mad maybe, but you're talking about you. You're glad handing Lebron for getting blown out for the Lakers. This is it. Lebron doesn't impact winning. I'm not mad at him. It's easier to score in the NBA than it ever has been. Rob g could score basket in the NBA. Nobody's gone just stay in the perimeter, Rocks. Is easy to score in the NBA as it is to get in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Well you know that her. Let me stop you here, though I get it. It is easier, and anybody that wants to debate it, call us up. You know when we when we are there's no I mean, Nicola Yokis, Joel Embiid and Yanni oh No, Nicola, Nicola, Yannis and Luca Donchez all said it's easier to score in the NBA than it is over in Europe, and we don't doubt it because these guys are the reigning MVPs, absolutely the best players in the league, and so I agree with you there, Rob. However, it's only six dudes averaging thirty points and Lebron's one of them. So I hear you about it's easier to score, but he's still dropping thirty. He's still scoring more points than what four hundred and forty four guys in the league or however many it is behind him. So I'm not gonna totally pull for what he's doing because it is easier to score. Yeah, but the only problem Chris is and you saw it last year when he averaged thirty. It sounds impressive. They couldn't make the playing game were ten where twenty of the thirty teams make the playoffs and Lebron and other guys. You don't only need two people in the NBA. And you could say whatever Westbrook was a year ago and a d was heard, and I get that, but really they couldn't. They couldn't be one of the top ten teams and to get into the playing game. I think that that's an indictment of Lebron and what he's doing, and that the numbers really don't matter. Chris. If they were in the playoff hunt and they were a team and Lebron was putting up these numbers and they're in the top six, I'm not saying they gotta be a top four, the number one seed. I get that, but they're not in the top twenty teams in the entire league to make the play in and we've seen this a couple years. This doesn't make you say you're not impressed. I am Ron's numbers. I am not impressed. I think that they're fraudulent, trumped up. Somebody has to score in an NBA game, so it might as well be Lebron with the people who are around him with no ad. I'm just not impressed. And when a D was playing Chris and putting up the numbers and they were winning a little bit more, you saw the impact rob their record with Lebron and a D. This is gonna knock you off your seat eight and eleven, That's what I'm saying. Christ e Levin so look, I'm impressed. I understand Lebron. Like for all those that look at Lebron's numbers, thirty points a game, eight and a half rebounds a game, his career high for a season and rebounding is eight point six, so he's right around his career high. This would be the third, second or third highest scoring average of his career right now, thirty point two and six point nine assists, right around his career average of seven point three fifty one percent shooting from the floor, which is actually better than his career mark. So his numbers are off the charts. And many of you out there saying Lebron is still in his prime. Lebron's as good as ever. No, he's not. And Rob did touch on it earlier. He's not impacting winning Lebron James and his prime could have taken any four of our callers and made the playoffs, no doubt about it, Chris, no doubt, absolutely, And so that is one way you know he's no longer in his prime. The other is the way he's playing. And he could have started playing like this earlier in his career and it might have worked out. Where he is essentially a true small forward like, and he's concerned about scoring and rebounding. And he's such a great pastor and so smart, he's gonna get a lot of assists. But the way Lebron has been able to control the game make his team with no matter who were his teammates, really good, maybe not a championship team, but really good and make the playoffs is that he would bring the ball up court seventy percent of the time, he would control the tempo, and he was a terrific defender. Those are things that are missing now. Lebron's not much of a defender now, and he can't like I think the Lakers would be better Robbed if they put the ball in Lebron's hands and essentially made him the point guard. But he can't do it. But he can't do it for thirty five, thirty eight minutes a night anymore. That so he's not what he used to be. However, Robbed in your twentieth season, we've never seen a guy this late in his career, at this stage of his career. Even even if you want to say the numbers aren't impactful, We've never seen a guy put up these types of numbers. Yeah, but or be more impactful than this. I guess Kareem was more impactful. But Kareem did have magic and Worthy and Byron Sky. But I think the indictment though you just said it, the big number is eight and eleven with a D. If you told me that when AD's healthy and Lebron's putting up those numbers, Chris, and in those nineteen games they were seventeen and two or you know what I mean, where they were a force and then they could those two You know, that's why everybody says you can't count Lebron out him in a D. You know, if they're getting the playoffs, you never know what can happen. This is the CD's about to come back. Rob supposedly didn't I We'll see they play the Spurs. Do you think I mean, obviously he's gonna make a difference, but do you think they can make a push and at least get into the postseason tournament's healthy? That'll not positive because you just said it. You have to say that every time, Chris, because he might come back for three weeks you know what I mean, and play he might really I mean, and then Lebron could I agree with you in that I am not certain A D's gonna finish the season. You just can't hi, I mean, yeah, it is. I it's terrible. It's unfortunate. I'm not gonna rip him, but I don't just don't rap it. But it's just it's just he can't stay healthy. But if he is healthy, Rob, I do think they should make a push and get into the postseason. Um. So I'm excited to see because Rob, they were a good defensive team when A D was there. Now they're a bad defensive team because he was really that anchor. So I think he'll improve him there. And then Rob, here's the big question. Will Ad come back and play like he was before he got hurt for the last two years plus. He really picked it up in mid November, but you know before that, he was like pretty good. He's twenty one and nine, but that's not what he needs to be doing. He needs to be twenty seven and twelve and great defense like he was doing for I don't know a month and a half or so before he got hurt. Right, So that's a question too, which A D are you getting back? Yeah, but I'm I'm I'm gonna be I'm not impressed We're gonna throw it out to people eight seven, seven ninety nine or Fox Are you impressed with what Lebron James is doing at the age of thirty eight in his twentieth season? I am Rob is it are you? It's the a couple. Fox Sports Radio. We want your thoughts. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Bundling Save at Progressive dot Com eight seven seven ninety nine On Fox, Are you impressed with what Lebron James is doing? Averaging thirty points a game, eight eight rebounds, and seven assists in his twentieth season in the NBA at age thirty eight? Even John Walt said last week, Chris, it's easy to scoring today's NBA than even five or exte years ago. He's like, it's just it ain't. It ain't a hard thing. You can score. Brand Flora is wide hoping. It's so spread that if you can get by your man, which they want to run you off the three point line, right, they're running you off the three point line, and then they try to stop you at the rim. But there's not that many people in the paint to stop you at the rim, No doubt. It's and they give you the mid range. J Brandon and Riverside, California, you're on the odd couple of fox sportuated what up beat? Hey, how you guys doing? Man? I love the show Man. Thank you. It's it's like, I'm I'm I'm a die hard Michael Jordan's fan. I'm from Chicago, so he's my ghost. But what Lebron is dooy? I guess in hindsight, it is very impressive. I mean, it's a lot of guys. I'm pretty sure if they made it to age thirty eight they were you wouldn't been able to steal average thirty. But I do agree with both of you all where it is easy recordatively, you shoot three, you know a game and sometimes like yet last night you made what nine green? Sofortunely gonna score forty if it goes in for you. But yeah, it's impressive, it's cool. So but you know, at the same time, it's I'm not like rereal, like I'll be talking about it ten years, twenty years from now like that? All right? Thanks brand rob real quick. Lebron took twenty nine shots last night. Fourteen of them were three, so essentially half the shots he took were worth three points. You have to include that in the scoring too. That's one reason, no doubt, no doubt, that makes a big difference. How about Mel and Honolulu. You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Mel? What's going on? Guys? Another show? And uh, you guys asked the question about Lebron. I'm better impressed with it. He's a man, you know, Chris, thanks for them the big props. And you know Rob, you know, Rob, thank you as well that you know. My My question is like the game has changed so much. You know, you got still, you got Yannis, you know, scoring forty plus points and they still lose the game. Are they not making an impact? Yeah? But Yannis is on one of the best teams in the league, right and Stephanam just won the championship. I mean, like we're saying the Lakers aren't even penciled into the playing game. Hey, Mel, are you still? It's not about one game? You know, it's not Oh, Yanna score forty seven last week and they lost. It's just about over the course of the season, these points Lebron scoring aren't really impacting winning. That's that's what we're saying. And it's not for Yannis and I mean, steph, Yeah, they're mediocre this year. We'll see if you know they're gonna make the playoffs. We'll see what they do. But like Rob said, they won the championship a year ago. Hey, hey, mel, I was in a hotel the other day in Las Vegas, and I kept hearing a couple in the room next to me. I think they were from Hawaii because I kept hearing the woman say lul lu al. So I thought he's he's been working on this new material, so he's working it in. All right, speaking well, Rob, I wait till we get the caller, but I got do that before. All right, all you do Mike in Tempee, you're the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What up, Mike? Oh? Not for much another day. I'm not impressed with Lebron. I'm impressed with the numbers at that age. But what I really wanted to call and say was minimum wage was three thirty five an hour in nineteen eighty four. It was four and a quarter nineteen wow. Four in nineteen ninety four was four on a quarter. That's the lowest side me. You made three thirty, you made five dollars. You were rolling. I was making money, Chris, I was right, yeah, yeah, you that wasn't the minimum. He was making money too, and like four to quarters to Lois. But anyway, um, I like Lebron, but it just he's not Jordan. That's all I can say. Thanks, Okay, thank you, I appreciate it all something to say, Well, might a comedy club to seventy five Park open, Brooklyn is open? We haven't had the grand opening yet, so it's a soft on the soft opening. Yeah, it was opened last weekend. They're limiting the number of people in there. How many people doesn't hold? It's gonna hold between two and three hundred. Wow, yeah, it's gonna be that big. Yeah. Yeah. The venue is great. And I've been to the Gotham City Comedy Club obviously in New York. Um Carolines, which recently closed. I don't know if you knew, did it really, Chris, ye, Carols, because I think their rent was going on really skyrockets. So yeah, that's the big d in Manhattan, right right, And then so you know, I've been to several of them in New York and I'm telling you our venue, the size, the space, it's it's better than than most common right, I gotta get ready for my day in New York. Get ready, rack that brain, get beefinn writing for you. I'll saw some tickets. You know, I've got nothing but family and friends in New York. Are you kidding? No? I know, I know it's gonna really though. We'll get you out there, but yeah, I'll let you know. Everybody know when the grand opening is. But we are open models off opening at this point. Thank you. All right, We're gonna get Eddie House in a moment, But first, Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox Sports Radio dot Com and within the iHeart Radio app. Search f SR to listen live. We're live from the tire Rack dot com studios. Is Chris and Rob the I Couple. Our next guests, NBA eighth Champions, Fox Sports Radio NBA Analyst Eddie House. What up? Man up? Betty? What's what's going on? Brothers? How y'all doing? Man? Hey? Hey, I watch you on TV yesterday with your Celtics hoodie and all lad doing the post game show? What was that all about? What was that? Journalists? Rob? That I had that I had my hoodie, I worked with NBC Sports Bust and so I'm definitely supporting the Celtics all day, every day. Plus it was it's a little up. Some of the Orlando Magic fans have some animosity towards me because I said that they were that the team, not the players individually, and some of the players had something to say about it. I guess I motivated them, and it's a damn shame. It's a damn game if it takes you. It's a damn shame if it takes me to motivate you. But when I say this, I'm gonna say this again. When you have twenty five teams ahead of you and you want to get a peek into what the locker room says, we say that you're a week basketball team when you have twenty five teams ahead of you, right, okay? And then I said that they was garbage with twenty five teams ahead of you. Let me ask you this, what do you think if you're rating if you see a talk show or a radio show that has twenty five other people ahead, you be like okay, and out of thirty he's like, okay, you guys is garbage players? Can I say this? Can I say this because this is the truth. There's no indictment against Orlando Magic players because I think they have some good pizzas over there. They have too, they have some good young with them, because they do have some good young talent. But it's not meshing, Okay, don't mesh. And it's just like I played with the Clippers and think we had Elton brand, Corey mcgetty, Quentin Richardson. We have some good pieces over there. But when you looked up at the standing, the other teams that was at the top would look at us and be like, Okay, they're kind of weak right now. You you told it like it is. They gotta learn, they gotta get tough skin. So maybe that's a part of their problem too. Let's start here and then we'll get into some of the teams. Um. Rob and I were just debating how impressive what Lebron's doing is. I think I said, I'm impressed. Rob is not impressed because it's not impacting winning. Where are you ating? Hey, go figure, Rob's not impressive night, I'm shocked, right, I heard that. But let's let's let's go here. Man, it is impressive at his age what he's doing. Number two what does he what else does he have out there? He's doing everything, yeah, to put his team in a situation to win. Like you look at the other teams are stacked. They just you look at their roster. Their roster is not a good roster. You know, it's not a roster. And listen, it's the same thing. It's it's not a roster that you look at and say, you know what, even with the trade for Ruy hotchmur right, you say, okay, that's a nice little piece for them moving forward, but then doesn't move the needle, right, It doesn't make them contenders in the West. They have the only the only reason why we're talking about the Lakers is because of Lebron James. And we'll talk about what is doing off the bench too, But it's extreme. Man about to get back, Yeah we do, I mean we're hey, you can't back on that. You you want to, you want to put your house on that. No, that's all. But but but Eddie, this is the But you're making my point when you say that they don't have a good team. So somebody's got a score. So scoring points doing doesn't mean that you're doing something. Somebody in an NBA game's gotta score. It's easier than ever to score. They still last night he at forty six and they still got blowed out. It wasn't like he'd be putting forty six and they beat the Clippers, and you go, wow, Lebron is really doing something. Somebody's got a score. I'm not trashing is I'm not trash? Rob? You know what? Rob? Let me say this real quick. There's no way that somebody got forty six points and you're like, oh, well, somebody has to score. No, he was out there scoring because somebody was trying to stop him from scoring, and nobody else on the team could score. So what is he supposed to do? Is he supposed to continue to pass the guys that can't score? No? Get it? So tell me, tell me why the eight and eleven when a D and with a D and Lebron, why are they eight and eleven? If he's putting up these tremendous numbers that you and Ad was playing there, eight and eleven, we all know you need three You need three guys out there. You need three guys that can get go get go out there and get it. It's been proven you need three guys two guys can go out there and get some wins, but you need three guys. And this is the thing Rob like with everybody, Damn if he do, damn if he don't. With Lebron James, if he passed the ball, they say, oh, he needs to take the shot. If he starts taking the shots, they like, damn, he needed somebody got to score. He did the pat No, let's just give this guy as flower because when he's gone and away from this game, we are gonna miss the fact that Lebron James is one of the best players that we ever laid our eyes on. All right, Eddie, So am I assumption? Correct me if I'm wrong? Is that you believe Michael Jordan is the goat? When right? You got Jordan? Right? Yeah, no doubt. If you have me to pick a player, I'm I need to start minds with Jordan's. Sorry, Okay, So when Lebron passes Kareem within the next couple week or two however, you know, week two, three weeks, whatever, Well, how will that have any impact on your thinking in that regard? No, what it does? It does do this because two things could be true at the same time. I think Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. But I think Lebron James is the greatest player who played for the longest Okay, yeah, yeah, at the highest level, So I could give him that, but I'm still going with Jordan. And the thing is, I have this debate back and forth. You know, you go to the barbershop, it don't matter where you this is gonna be the debate and my debate. And when I ended debate, I say, hey, listen, I know I'm not trying to pull my card right here. But at the same time, I did play in this league. I have friends that played in this league, and everybody that played before me, that played with me, and and kind of some of them that played afterwards all picked Jordan. When you have that group that says Michael Jordan's even though they played and competed against Lebron, I mean you have to that's some stock in that. You have to take stock in what people are saying. No, no, no doubt about it. There was there was pat Riley. Did you see the pat Riley sound about He says that it's Kareem even though he retired Michael Jordan's number, And then he talked about Queen's longevity, but Lebron's gonna pass him and has, you know, unbelievable longevity. So Pat Riley, I don't know. It's got mixed messages. UH, Like no other team has ever retired somebody's number who didn't play for that team. So that's probably the ultimate h praised by somebody. How could you Riley? How can Riley do that? It doesn't make sense, does it. You know he coached, he did coach Kareem, so he's definitely Gonne and one championships with Kareem, But he can't respect the fact of what Jordan did, not only for uh, for the game. I should say what Jordan did for the game. And I was with Pat last night. I had a great conversation when it was a first time I've seen him in a long time. Yeah, I did. I worked the game last night against the Heat m and I had a conversation with him. It was the first time I had got an opportunity to talk to him in a long time, and I wanted to give him his flowers for what he done for me. Number one, But number two, you gotta understand how Pat is Pat knows that At the same time, think about how that relationship broke up, right, think about that, my he he came in and he left, he didn't do and what Pat thought he was gonna do, and what Lebron thought he was gonna do, not one, not two, not too not. That's exactly what Pat was thinking too. And it didn't happen. So and the way it broke up and the way everything unfolded. You know, people, people hope rudgers you because you played there with him in Miami, didn't. Pat used to call him the boat best of all time. He told me that's what you should call Lebron. But when you say greatest of all time, that's different from a A G and a B is two different letters. Well, if you want to, if you want to parse words, no, but real real will talk because say the best quarterback ever, Tim Brady, the greatest quarterback ever time Brady, Like generally people mean the same thing. No, not not necessarily, because I think the best basketball player like that has all the things Lebron probably is, rebounding assists, the way he passed, he could score, He could go out there and get a bunch of points. But is he the greatest ever? Like you know, that's that's different. You know what I mean. I don't think that. I think tooth. Like I said, I think two things could be true at the same time. All right, that's our man, Eddie House. We appreciate your brother, Thank you, Thank you. Guys. I need I need one of those Celtics hoodies xl okay, oh you need one. I'm gonna tap into my guy Andy Man. Shout out to Eddy equipment manager. Teddy, I've seen Rob's gut likely stopping double X. No, I don't do no good, Eddie. I'll see you in Phoenix during the Super Bowl. Ah, right on, I'll be out there all right, Eddie. More a couple coming your way to die out well you just started, though, it just started. Bill's got a lot of excuses, just like Rod Parker. You see that A couple of Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox sports Radio dot Com and within the iHeart Radio app sir sr to listen live all right where the couple live from the tireight dot Com studios. And Rob we all know, we all saw the Buffalo Bills get bludgeoned. And that's not necessarily an overstatement. I mean they were beaten up by the Cincinnati Bengals twenty seven to ten in the Divisional round last weekend, and their GM Brandon Bean, spoke today or is it today or yesterday? Maybe yesterday about what happened, and he actually played the excuse card and talked about how Buffalo or Cincinnati, because Joe Burrows on his still on his rookie scale deal, has a bit of an advantage. Serious they right now are on the advantage of a rookie quarterback contract. They had some lean years and I don't want to suck bad enough to have to get Jamar Chase Like he's a heck of a talent. I'd love to have him. You got to go through some lean years to do that, all right, rob Um, go off, because Josh Allen is not that we know. Josh Allen got the huge contract. It doesn't kick until next season. Chris, he's he's seven point nine percent of the cap is that's that's the number stop. So that's number one, all right, You're your quarterback isn't making the huge money yet either. Number two. He's talking, rob like they had a talent deficit, like they're like Cincinnati's rosters just light years ahead of Buffaloes. They certainly it looked like it on Sunday, But on paper, over the regular season, Buffalo's roster was as good as anybody's. Buffalo. It was Buffalo that had the second best defense in the league, and according to points aloud, not Cincinnati. It was Buffalo that was thirteen and three and almost got the one seed, not Cincinnati. They were twelve and four, all right. It was Buffalo with the quarterback that everybody thought was gonna be the MVP in the preseason. Buffalo's got Stefan Diggs. I Okay, Jamar Chase is slightly better, but Stefan Diggs is a great player too, Chris. It was Buffalo that scored seventy two points in the first two games of the year, including beating the defending champs rams here in LA and the and the Titans. Right, but what is he talking? Buffalo had on paper and over the course of the entire season had the better offensive line. No, it wasn't about Cincinnati having their rookies, their quarterbacks still on the rookie scale because their offensive line is bottom five in the league with him on the rookie scale and they were missing three starters. Thank you. I mean I wish if you're at that press conference and I worked at the Buffalo News, Chris or whatever, I would not allowed him to pedal that seriously, because I think what you just said. You're saying that you have a talent. That's right, that's what are you talking about your team on paper? What about the winds? What did you do all year that had an offensive line missing three people? What what are you talking You're used to playing in the cold and snow. This is Buffalo, New York, for Christ's sakes. I mean, really, that is a GM backpedaling looking for excuses. You got beat, you got dominated. Of course, of course you should be disappointed and upset. You were supposed to make that next step this year and you didn't do it. Don't make excuses. You're absolutely right because the bottom line was right when it's time to strap it up and play football, they didn't show up. The Bengal showed up and the Bills did not. It's as simple as that. Don't give me the talent. Defin right, he would have been more correct even say you know, look Von Miller. I mean, he's one of the greatest we've seen. We went out and got him thinking he would, you know, really help get us to the next level, and unfortunately got hurt, you know, if you want to say stuff like that. They had some other injuries. Tadavias White. I don't think ever got back to his pro Bowl form when he came back for the last six games from injury. You know, Micah Hide, Like, they had guys that were injured, and so you can point that out, but don't tell us Rob it was a talent deficit. Like you're the freaking Chicago Bears. You beat the Kansas City Chiefs for goodness sake. So yeah, I'm with you, Rob. I think he was making excuses and it doesn't make him look good. So I don't even know why he was playing that card. Right, all right, we got an hour left. The odd couple. Keep it locked, it's going to be live. Keep it

Thank you. Keep it
