Jack is back with SOAR - Securing Our Aspirational Realities, the programme run by Nga Kete Matauranga Charitable Trust exploring life alongside whanau with disabilities. This week Jack sits down with friends Kazera and Jayime, both Peer Support Workers at Ka Puta Ka Ora Emerge Aotearoa in Invercargill. Kazera works in mental health peer support at the hospital while Jayime works in the community. They talk about what Ka Puta Ka Ora Emerge Aotearoa offers the Invercargill community, why they chose to become peer support workers and what it means that Ka Puta Ka Ora Emerge has opened its doors in Invercargill.
