معلومات عن هذه الحلقة
Indianapolis folk duo A Bright Abyss Initially played liturgical music under the name Sister Sinjin. After going back to grad school together to get degrees in mental health, the now therapists Kaitlyn Ferry and Eliza Duffy, changed their group’s name and started writing music focused on subjects outside of the church like fairytales, psycho analysis and their personal lives. This week on Small Studio Signal Boost, we’ll hear a performance from A Bright Abyss, recorded live in our Small Studio at WFYI, along with a conversation about the duo’s transformation, their songwriting process, the Indianapolis music community and more. Plus, we listen to clips from our weekly local music playlist.
