Roz: Let's go.
Devy: He is milk drunk and hammered right now. And pretty sure he just spit up because he saw the Jets. Yeah, I know, I know. You're doing you're doing great, bud. And he's gonna start crying.
Roz: He's trying to do the J E D S chin, I think, with his arms.
Dutchie: Yeah, there it is.
Devy: I think he I think he is I think he is trying. You know, he might he honestly at least he's not as big as a fraud as Fireman Ed is, but you know, he he he could be up there on the screen.
Roz: Yeah. It'll never be like that. It'll never stoop to that level.
Pip: Ha ha.
Devy: No, absolutely not. If he's already wearing a Garrett jersey, I'm gonna send this to Garrett Wilson. The first thing that he did was first thing I did was get him a Garrett Wilson jersey so you can match with me. Come on, Garrett, you gotta send this supporting the head, not doing a great job of that. But the guest
Pip: Mm-hmm.
Devy: better be supporting the ball. but I'm gonna send this to Garrett and be dude, like he's got a Garrett Wilson Girls Yahoo and like come on, you gotta you gotta do something for us and the pod and the baby. See? He's saying so. But with that being said, he's just he's pissed off about being two and four. You know,
Dutchie: Yeah
Roz: He's pissed off about being two and four. I don't blame him.
Devy: he's he's pissed off, he's pissed off at the Ross ISB. Very angry about it. but he can't even bear to watch. but with that being said, while I get his Binky back, Bizzy, kick us off.
Roz: Yeah, I'll kick us off. Fulton's and his Dolphins week. it's another must win game. Like it's just the this year we're putting ourselves in these situations where it's must win. Must win against the Browns. Obviously week one was must win. Dolphins is must win. Pip has his hand raised. Pip, what would like to say? It's a can't lose.
Pip: It's not a must win. It's not a must win. It's a it's a can't lose.
Dutchie: okay.
Roz: So help me understand this. A must win is DEF CON five, a can't lose is below a must win or is a
Pip: No, like must win is like you need to win this game, like no matter what or the season's over. Can't lose is like if you lose this game it's more embarrassing than anything else. There is nothing for us to
Roz: Okay. Yeah, okay.
Pip: gain from winning this game and
Dutchie: All right, yep.
Pip: everything to lose.
Roz: I I actually think that's yeah, that's
Dutchie: Bye.
Roz: fair.
Dutchie: Yep.
Roz: Listen, this is this is the tipping point of the season, right? Like if we lose this game, even as positive and as optimistic as I am, like it's fire everyone. Like I I told my dad, I said, I'm flying home if they lose this game to help Aaron Glenn clean out his office. Like you can't lose this game.
Dutchie: Yeah
Roz: As much as I love AG, you have to win this game. And honestly, you have to win it convincingly. Like you gotta go and it shouldn't you gotta win it wire to wire. It can't be a sweat. You gotta win it wire to wire.
Dutchie: It's gotta be double digits. It's gotta be double digits.
Roz: It has to be. It has to be. Yeah, I agree. I I totally agree. we're getting healthy. Brees should be back. A D should be back. Parham should be back, I think. so there's no excuse, right? There's no excuse. I watched all the press conferences. I watched Reich's press conference today. I watched obviously I I watch every A G press conference, but I'm tired of A of Reich and A G being like, Yeah, it's on us to figure it out like Enough. It yeah, it is on you to figure it out. Figure it out. Like I don't want you to keep coming up here saying it's on us to figure it out. Like just figure it out. And then we don't have to worry about it. Then you don't have to keep saying it every week.
Pip: I thought the most ridiculous thing
Devy: I don't want Brees to come back.
Pip: that I saw today was Reich saying that he needs to be reminded by AG to get Garrett Wilson the ball.
Roz: It was insane dude. I could not believe it when he said that. Like on Dude, Frank Frank was so Frank's press
Dutchie: I didn't even see that. I even watch it.
Roz: conference, he's Yeah, like there are times where like we don't get Garrett the ball enough and AG's in my ear, like you have to get Garrett the ball, like you have to get Garrett involved. Like A G like okay, I I'm glad A G does that, but like that should you should never get to that point to begin with. On the field at every He's
Dutchie: Is the best player on the field? Like not even like...
Roz: the best player on the field. And and listen, I think some of the AG or some of the Garrett stuff is overblown. Like I think he is like second in the conference for targets and like top top whatever in the NFL for targets. So like yeah, do they need to get on the ball ball more? Yes. But also it's not as bad as we think. I don't know. It's kinda how I feel.
Pip: It's
Dutchie: I mean, I think he had two targets going into the fourth quarter against the Pats. Like, that's not good.
Roz: Right, that's unacceptable. Yeah.
Dutchie: That's not good.
Pip: It's skewed. All all the data's skewed because the the games where we do get him the ball or the games that we're in that we're winning, or like the Lions game where we're like peppering him with DJ Reed on him. It's the games where you don't get him the ball, and that's why people scream about it. Because there are games where he's just not targeted or he just disappears from time to time. And it's not him disappearing. It's he's wide open. We're just not throwing it to him for some reason. at the end of the day, like I I understand the stats are there, but it The stats could be there, but we have two examples in two games in a s so far six game season where he just has gone invisible. You wanna see the Packers was due to weather, you didn't wanna like throw it down the field, sure. But there was no excuse last week for it.
Roz: None. None. I don't know where Yeah.
Devy: I can chime in on some I can chime in on some of the stats on together also week by week 'cause I now have them in fantasy. week one, seven targets, which is pretty okay. I'm I'm fine with that. week two, seven targets, and that's the Green Bay game you were talking about, Pip. so he was seven targets, five for fifty-seven and a touchdown on that one. but the thing is seven targets and only fifty seven yards isn't ideal. he's getting that much, he needs to get obviously bigger chunk plays out of that. Detroit was the big game, thirteen targets on receptions. Chicago was a shit show, four targets, three receptions, but that's that was just a shit game to begin with. Cleveland he had eleven targets. but a lot of that came in the first half. Second half you really didn't see much of the ball at all. And then last week in McGlen, six targets, four receptions, forty four yards. So I think where the skew this comes in is definitely that Detroit game, which is the second half we obviously we were playing down, so
Dutchie: Yeah.
Devy: just throwing the ball a lot more than we were originally in that game, and then Cleveland I'm I'm pretty sure ten of those targets came in the first half. and then only one in the second half. Because you do not have much of him in the second half that game.
Dutchie: not like to go back to the Detroit game or that, but like I watched that game like in the airport. I was in and out and really watching the full game. I feel like that was like our best game of the year. Like, I don't know that's like great.
Roz: Yeah.
Dutchie: mean, like I feel like that was like our best game of the year. Like we were in that game. We probably should have won it at the end of fumble sock. But I mean, like, I don't know. And that's against the game you get in the ball the most. So
Devy: yeah, I mean, I agree. I think we don't we don't fumble, we probably win that game. a lot of that came down to clock management and coaching in that game. you went toe to toe with I mean, the Lions definitely weren't what they were three years ago, two two years ago, but they're still a pretty dynamic team. They're a pretty they're a tough team to beat, especially on the road. that's a really tough game. that's a game if they would have stole that game, That's a game that that was the game to steal right there. Like that one's that one like you're gonna look back at that one. But the Green Bay game, whatever. I'm over I've been over the Green Bay game. I'm not over the Detroit game. Like the Detroit game is something
Dutchie: still drying off my San Antonio home jersey from that game.
Devy: The Detroit game just sucked 'cause like it was a game that we had really we had no business being in if you if you look in years past, like that's a game like realistically like you're gonna write it as like we have no business being in that game. That's a game typically we would probably get blown up by like thirty. But you know, we were down, we came back and it you know, we had the ch we had the chances to win that game. even like the with the Aaron Glenn going for two. that game. a lot of people were were hating that but I mean honestly
Roz: It's the right move.
Devy: I yeah
Pip: It is.
Devy: look it's the right move you you because it you essentially you're going for the win right there. which is honestly if bulls reverse they don't go for two there they kick the extra point and then at the end of the day we're gonna be like well he shouldn't have just been he should have been more aggressive earlier on the game. You know I think that's one thing like I will give him credit on is he's been very aggressive. even on a fourth down place, it's just the play calling at the end of the day has been fucking atrocious
Dutchie: awful.
Devy: on the on those plays. Like I love the aggressiveness of it. Love it. But we need to execute better. And I saw somebody somebody tweeted out the other day or last week after the game, like it's on the players to execute. Fuck it is. You know what I mean? There's no way the player's gonna execute. That play call, a run out of shotgun, regardless of what the analytics say You you s you've seen it fail already.
Dutchie: Awful.
Devy: Yeah, you've seen it fail already. It's not gonna work. And the Pats knew what was coming. And they knew exactly what we were what was going on there. They knew you weren't gonna throw the ball. They you were gonna run it 'cause you were running the ball the entire time. So it's it's just very predictable. So
Pip: Mm-hmm.
Devy: if something is predictable, the players can't execute it. Like that's just not like there's nothing they can be absolutely perfect in that. It doesn't matter. So that that's what's like really frustrating. What's even more frustrating with that is that they're doubling down on it and they're saying like, yeah, this is the the right way to go. And I get it, the analytics say it's the right move, but maybe like obviously for us and our personnel, it's not the right move. And that's but that's what's really frustrating.
Roz: What blows my mind is they went for it a handful of times against Tennessee. And I think they passed it a majority of the time when they went for it, week one. I we'd have to go back and look. But there's a lot of like those quick
Devy: They did. I think
Roz: hitters to Garrett on fourth down. Like, why can't the whole world knows you're
Devy: Granted though, I'll
Roz: running it in Foxboro? Run some play action or something. It was fourth and
Devy: I think I think when it's fourth and fourth and one, fourth and two, they're gonna they're gonna run it. Anything fourth and three, fourth and four, they're gonna pass it. I think that's where it comes into putting. But
Roz: Y correct, but everyone thinks that way, so like get creative. I would be okay if they go play action and it just doesn't work out, right? On fourth down.
Pip: Mm-hmm.
Devy: So so they the one time
Roz: You know what I mean? Like at least try something diff
Devy: they did against Tennessee they did go for fourth and one. And if you remember, Brees was on the sideline, Brainland was they threw it Brainland, he dropped it. Because in that
Roz: Right.
Devy: again, that's person that's a personnel issue. Bri if that's the play call, yeah. Yeah, like that should be that should be Brees. Like Brainland
Dutchie: Great play call, wrong guy. Like literally great play call, wrong guy. Yes.
Roz: Wrong guy.
Devy: has been great, but that's not one of his strong suits. He's been a lot better at it. Definitely, you know, he's definitely he's added a little bit of receiving aspect to his game. And you know, I'm I mean, listen, I never want a guy to be hurt, but you know, Bradley needs to be the the guy right now. I mean, the offense has been a lot the running game, I should say, has been a lot more formidable and obviously more consistent of a threat to where it helps out every aspect of the game. I get him coming back, but he needs to be featured just on passing downs. That that's pretty much it.
Roz: I was just gonna say that the element that Brees p provides is that passing game element where come out of the batfield, catch, and run. Like that is where Brees is at his best, or at,
Devy: Right.
Roz: you know, some of his best comes from that. And which is you don't really get that from Braylen, and you're not gonna get that from Isaiah Davis. So I I like miss me with the we don't need Brees back. Brees is gonna help our offense. Should he be the featured back? No. Braylon could be the Bell Cow, but like
Devy: No, you you definitely him coming back definitely it it yeah, it helps definitely more than it hurts for sure. Yeah, it it it's just again,
Dutchie: Hit me hard, can help us boys.
Roz: Timmy Aaron. Yeah. Only the real ones get that reference.
Devy: it's it's using the right personnel in the right spots. Like you look at Detroit with Gibbs and Montgomery, you know, Montgomery wasn't in on passing downs or anything like that. He wasn't featured as a featured like a passing back, you know, they can use Gibbs for that. But anything else, you know, they would just feed it to Montgomery and he would obviously get the yards, the trunk yards that they would need. And you know, that's you know, that's exactly a little bit the opposite here, but that's exactly what they need to do. again, I mean I don't know. I mean I'm also not gonna take so much into what they're saying in press conferences, you know, it's more
Pip: Mm-hmm.
Devy: so it's like what are you gonna be doing when it comes to the games. But again, you know, it's more so I just don't trust that they're doing what they need to do going into the next week. And here's the problem with it is that an opponent like Miami You can get away with it. You know what I mean? Like they're they're an inferior opponent, but again, it is a divisional opponent, and this is a game that Miami's gonna come out playing really hard. You know, they're winless, you know, they're they're they're trying to win also, regardless of what their record says. but it is a game that you can get away with it. In those games against New England, you're not gonna get away with it, you know, especially on the road. That's just it's just the way it is.
Roz: Yeah, to like to to to Pip has said this the whole week, it's like and he's right, if you beat Miami, it really doesn't matter. Like you're supposed to win this game. And the the game that's gonna matter if you beat Miami is Oak er not Oakland, is Vegas, the Raiders. so yeah, but I I I guess my thing is like I still come back to the players a little bit because it's like if we see it, the coaches hit see it, which means they're working on it every week. Like I refuse to believe that they're not working on this stuff to try to fix it. So we'll and we'll never know, right? We'll never
Pip: Working on what?
Roz: we'll never get we'll we'll never have that we'll never be a fly on the wall in the facility. So we'll never know, but I I just find it hard to believe that the coaches are not trying to fix the issues that are going on. Like everybody sees it. They're not idiots.
Pip: Alright, but alright. Alright, all right. So the biggest problem is what we've said so far is one, the Lions game, the only reason it was our best game so far is because it was our best quarter. It was the fourth quarter that was good. The problem is right now is we run one drive to open the game like Adam Gase had. It's a great drive. After that, no adjustments are made for three quarters after that. The reason the Lions game was so good is because we finally made adjustments and started throwing on DJ Reed and Garrett went off because of that. We haven't seen an adjustment like that be made in any of these games. And the biggest the biggest thing in the last week was play action, seven for seven, a hundred and like fifty yards and a touchdown. Why are we only running play action seven times? Like why why do you see it's working and just not even do it? And that's not on the players, that's on the coaches, that's on Riken, what he's calling. You could establish the run as much as possible and the run game could be great. It means nothing if you don't use it for the passing game. It just means you have it established. Congrats. And that's why you play from behind in the fourth quarter. You don't know what you're doing. Everyone knows you're throwing in the fourth quarter because you don't know how to actually step on the gas. And that's our biggest problem. We come out, we score. We usually score in the first drive. It looks great. And then after that, it's just sitting there, run, run, run, pass, no play action. Nothing's actually being opened up.
Devy: All gas nor brakes, is what you're saying.
Dutchie: Yeah. Yeah. And then mean, to go back to that, like the second and one third and one fourth and one there, like I think that was probably some of the worst to just to add on your point, some of the worst play calling ever. mean, like second one, why aren't we taking a shot like down the field, like three downs in a row? You can't get the one yard. Like I think at that point, like it's like that is also on the players a little bit like one yard. Like, can we just, can we just three downs? We can't get the one yard. It's unbelievable.
Roz: That's my point too, is think
Pip: It is, but they could help themselves. They could help themselves and they they can call a better play.
Dutchie: Yes.
Pip: They could take a shot like you're saying.
Roz: I I think it's everyone involved.
Dutchie: Yeah, like I
Roz: I I really do. Like like Gino on the
Dutchie: Like second and one inside, like they were on one of the 44,
Roz: Yeah.
Dutchie: 45, like that. mean, take a shot. Like what do we have to lose?
Roz: Right. You got nothing to lose. Yeah, I I don't know. I I don't know. I my only like I just I don't know, I'm not I'm not a doomer.
Pip: I do know, they're dumb.
Roz: I'm not ready to give up on the season and and start rooting for losses like some people are and then if you're rooting for losses that's fine, I get it. Like I understand where you're coming from, but
Pip: Someone clip that.
Roz: Listen, I get it.
Dutchie: Even someone as positive as I can be and as Roz can be,
Roz: I get it.
Dutchie: you'll lose this one, man. You got serious problems
Roz: Yes. You got
Dutchie: and I'm not even sure I could defend it anymore. It's going to be brutal. It'll be one of the worst weeks in Jets media if you lose this game. Like you said, Pip, can't lose.
Roz: Can't lose. You can't lose it.
Dutchie: It'll be one of the worst weeks on Jets Twitter ever. It'll be so dark.
Roz: Yeah, it it
Pip: It'd be one of the worst days in our group chat ever.
Devy: Our boot chat would be hilarious to lose that game.
Dutchie: yeah,
Roz: Well
Dutchie: yeah, it'd be good.
Roz: I finally would just like it would be like, you know, like I finally surrendered and wave the white flag. Like it would just be it.
Pip: That's a lie. You did that you did that two weeks ago, three weeks ago.
Dutchie: I tell you what, I'll
Roz: No I
Dutchie: revamp the shit out of the Pips quarterback list.
Devy: Yeah, you're like about to kill you're about to kill yourself like after
Pip: Yeah,
Roz: No, no, no, no, no, no. Listen, Timmy, I didn't see the Bears. I didn't I didn't see the I didn't see the Bears game, so so I I didn't see the Bears game, so
Pip: two, three weeks ago. I'm tired of of wanting it more than they do. I'm so embarrassed of wanting it being proven wrong.
Devy: the Bears game.
Dutchie: Thanks. Off the
Roz: I kinda saved myself from that. This this would be like you can't go and lose this game at home. You you can't even if you win this game, you can't even lose next week. Like you have to win both of these games.
Pip: Yeah.
Dutchie: If you if you if we're even in a position where we are losing this game like at all in the third or fourth quarter, like do you think we get a chance to see in Cade out
Roz: You can't, man. No.
Dutchie: there like just like the now you don't think that happens at all? What about the next game?
Pip: No. No. They're they're never
Roz: It depends. If if Gino throws like three picks in the first half, maybe. But like I don't I don't see it happening. I
Dutchie: Yeah, alright.
Roz: think they know listen, Gino has been fine. Like Gito has
Dutchie: No, I'm not saying Gino's the problem. I'm just saying like would they, you know.
Roz: Just a spark. Yeah.
Pip: The second you throw Cade
Dutchie: Yeah.
Pip: in, you're surrendering the season. And if you're surrendering the season,
Roz: Well what if he's a guy cat?
Pip: it I but like f you have to see from Woody and Glenn's perspective, like you're surrendering the season if
Roz: Yes, yes.
Pip: Cade's coming in. Like you're saying, let's see whatever we have here and just figure it out from there, and just praying. So like if Glenn wants to do that, he'll be out of a job. That's the only problem. As much as I'd love to see it. No, by it I mean Cade, not Glenn out of a job.
Dutchie: come on.
Roz: You want glenfire, which is fine, which is fine.
Pip: I I don't need him fired. I don't need him fired right now. Do I think he's the guy? No. Do I want him fired? Also no.
Devy: Hmm. I mean
Roz: Well actually yeah, like
Devy: I d right now there's no benefit of hiring out good mid season. There's no one on there's no one on the staff, like
Pip: Yeah. Wha what's gonna happen? We're gonna see Frank take over.
Roz: No. If he's
Dutchie: No,
Roz: as
Dutchie: we saw it with solid. It wasn't worth like that was like as bad
Roz: Well and it
Dutchie: as it was like
Roz: and if he's as bad as everybody thinks he is, all the tankers should not want him fired mid season. You wanna sh you wanna keep him to be your tank commander. You d you wanna
Pip: That's not true 'cause then you get Frank.
Roz: Well fr I guess Frank would be way more of a better tank commander than A G.
Pip: Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
Dutchie: Yes, yeah he would be. He really would be.
Devy: That's it that's if that's if they make him the interim.
Roz: If they make a magic Banjo, I would sign up for banjo, dude. That's another thing. Our special teams
Pip: I mean who else would it be?
Dutchie: Yeah. Banjo.
Devy: Agile.
Roz: has been horrendous, man. We can't our kick coverage is terrible.
Dutchie: Dude, we gotta find another returner. We need another returner. Maybe throw in Isaiah Davis. Throw him back there.
Roz: Yeah. Isaiah Davis is right there. It's right there. Like you can't obviously you can't put Omar back there. Isaiah is Isaiah is too frail, honestly, for kick return. Maybe punt returns fine. Isaiah Davis Isa are sorry, Isaiah Williams versus Isaiah Davis. Isaiah Davis is the guy to return kicks. It keeps him involved. He's your third back.
Dutchie: Yes.
Roz: Like I don't know, it makes too much sense to not put him back there. And Keneya has been banged up since the preseason.
Pip: I mean he he's
Devy: Yeah.
Pip: done. We we should never mention his name again. He's never coming back.
Roz: Can I yeah.
Dutchie: Dude, he was running the same exact return every single kickoff against the Pats. He just ran face first into the first guy that came there. It was crazy. I felt like we were just watching replays of the same kick. It was unbelievable. And the Pats just kept doing it because the guy just kept running to the same spot every
Roz: Yeah.
Dutchie: time. It was insane.
Devy: So what you guys are saying is that special teams hasn't been the same since Aaron's towards ACL.
Pip: Yeah.
Roz: No, it's with our boy Marcelino trying to get that ball, bruh.
Pip: You are a hundred percent correct, Evan.
Devy: I think it's Arian Smith. I think he's the Yeah. And you know
Roz: This I miss Marcelino.
Pip: And I miss him every day.
Devy: you know who's replaced him now on special teams that's been doing a really great job? Will McDonald. You know. I'm very happy that we spent
Roz: I've honestly every tackle on the kickoff is Will McDonald. Will McDonald is is is in on the tackle.
Devy: Will McDonald fucking sucks is what he does. The fact that he does special teams is pathetic.
Roz: I know, but like I'm sick. I know,
Pip: Ha ha.
Roz: I I'm sick. I just s and the only time I see him is on special teams. I see him in on the tackle.
Pip: I think I think he's really good and a team should give a third round pick for him.
Roz: The colds.
Devy: Yeah, you know what? You know, the fact he he was so good.
Dutchie: What if we get sauce back for a fifth?
Pip: I don't want his contract.
Devy: You know Bob McDonald was so good that, you know, we had to take him over JSN. Like we had to.
Pip: Mm-hmm. That was a really good pick. JSN's not a first
Roz: We don't have do this. That that was Joel.
Devy: That that was company.
Roz: We're so far gone from that.
Devy: We're not though, because he's still on the team.
Pip: I'm not. I I'm I'm not going from that.
Roz: Well I I know, but like what did we we got rid of the GM that picked them. Like
Pip: I think I wrote in like our big Jets group chat that I'm gonna track both their players' career as soon as they drafted him just because they skipped over JSN. And then Matt said something like, You're really gonna compare an edge to a wide receiver and I said a hundred percent.
Devy: You
Roz: And like he's the b and he turned out to be the best receiver in the league. It's not even like
Devy: you fucking buffet.
Pip: Yeah, exactly. But we didn't have a first round grade on him.
Devy: Cash passes from Sam Donald. Which is even more hilarious that Sam Donald
Roz: Right, catching passes from Sam.
Devy: is throwing him the ball.
Dutchie: Yeah.
Pip: Who looks horrible, just to throw that out there.
Devy: You gonna you can't make this up. Yeah, he doesn't really matter. They're gonna get absolutely fucking smoked.
Roz: Super Bowl. I'll play Matt Stafford in the in an NFC championship. Can never take that away from him.
Devy: What's that?
Roz: I said he outplayed Matt Stafford in the NFC championship and he won a Super Bowl.
Pip: Yeah, can't take that away from him. It's almost like the Jets have no the Jets have no claim to that whatsoever.
Roz: Can't take that away from That's my boy. That's my boy.
Dutchie: Can't take it away from him. Can't.
Devy: Yeah, I can't. Yeah, I mean no.
Dutchie: I got the shirt in here somewhere in this closet,
Roz: I got hold on, I got it.
Pip: Alright, it is 8.03. I have to head out, guys. It was really nice seeing you. Alright, see you guys later. It was good.
Devy: Shared.
Dutchie: Wait no, no no no, Pip you gotta see this shirt buddy, hold on. Look at that thing.
Pip: Alright. Have a good one, boys.
Devy: That's great.
Dutchie: I think that...
Roz: Ha ha ha
Devy: Alright guys, to to wrap let's wrap this up real quick let's do a a round robin of you know the number one thing that you don't want to see on Sunday. And my number one thing that I don't want to see on Sunday is a run out of the shotgun on a short fourth down or third down play. that is the number one thing, and I know that but probably gonna be anybody else's, so I'm taking it for myself. Now you guys have to figure it out. What is number one thing you guys don't want to see? Riz, you go first.
Roz: Can we do what we want
Dutchie: Go on, Roz.
Roz: to see? Or I I I don't I don't want to see a sloppy two minute operation. I don't want to see us I
Devy: That's going. That's going.
Roz: don't want to see us having I don't want them to have more points than us in the two minute drill. And I want to see the interception. We got one, but I'm I want to see more. I want to see an interception. I want to see a big play on defensive special teams that results in like a touchdown or like I don't know. I just something
Devy: I'm pretty sure we are top I
Roz: To get us going.
Devy: don't know if we're top in the NFL, but we're definitely top in the top five of turnover differential. which is pretty impressive.
Roz: We are. Because we've turned the ball over a lot. We've we've we've gotten turnovers on defense and we haven't turned it over
Dutchie: Some of the fours fumbles last week were like, we haven't seen that in a while from our team. Like that was like, I
Roz: We fell on him.
Devy: It's pretty crazy.
Dutchie: don't know, that Sherwood
Roz: We
Dutchie: one where he just ran back and just punched the fuck out of that ball. It was crazy. Like that was like, we never, we never seen that. Happens to us.
Devy: Yeah, that was that was pretty insane. But also a quick shout out, we're wearing the classics this week, so I got my classic G Dub jersey on. I see it. I see it. I see it, I see it, I see it. Dachi, wrap
Roz: I like that classic. I got my Curtis Martin. My Curtis Martin. The San Antonio I see it.
Dutchie: I got one right. I got two of them right here. Sanchez, San Antonio homes.
Devy: wrap it up for us. What's the I guess you could do the thing that you don't want to see, anything that you want to see on Sunday game.
Dutchie: The thing that I do not want to see and like, I do not want to see the defense not be able to get off the field when they need to be able to get off the field. Like
Devy: Yeah.
Dutchie: for example, the third and 13 against the Pats, like when the defense needs
Devy: Well, this is the game.
Dutchie: to get off the field, I need to see them get off the field. Like I feel like we have not done that yet this year, really. Maybe in the Packers game we did a few times, but like other than that and the Browns cause like Deshaun Watson probably just gifted us something. I didn't watch much of that game either. But like I need to see the defense get off the field. I don't want to see him knock out the field when they should get off the field. And
Devy: Yeah.
Dutchie: what I want to see, I want to see, I just want to see the offense look competent and productive in the two minute drill like Ross was saying. They need to look, I need
Devy: Yeah.
Dutchie: to see them look good in the two minute drill. They look good in the first drive of the game. Like I think last week Glenn made all the right moves at the end of that two minute drill in terms of getting the ball back with time on the clock. The problem is they got the ball back with time on the clock and then they left too much time for the Patriots then go down and score again. Like, yeah, it's awful.
Devy: Yeah, it was I mean, it was also terrible pr play balling. You're you're coming in three three three straight passes, you're not gonna and all three incomplete passes. So you're not gonna kill any time on the clock with that. so you know, it's definitely
Dutchie: Yeah. Right. Exactly. was horrendous.
Roz: that's what's that's what's that's what's crazy is like Glenn hired the guy that's gonna kill him. You know what I mean? Like he brought Reich in.
Devy: Yeah.
Roz: W whether Woody forced him to fire Tanner or not, who knows. But he went and he fired or he hired the guy that's gonna get him get him fired ultimately. Because we we've talked about this.
Devy: Yeah, it's insane.
Roz: We talked about this on the in the postgame and a lot of people talk about it like is Woody gonna let hire let Glenn hire A third O C if if we don't figure it this year? And the answer is probably not.
Devy: If it comes down to that, Aaron just doesn't have a job.
Roz: Right. Exactly.
Dutchie: Correct, yeah. It's that simple. it's like the defense needs to get out the field when they need to get out of the field, especially against this team, right? And then
Roz: Mm.
Dutchie: same thing with the two minute trial. If we have the opportunity to go get seven points before the half, I want
Devy: Right.
Dutchie: to see us go get seven points before the half.
Roz: You have to at least get three if you have the ball with two minutes left in this game. You have to just shut people up. Like it's never gonna end if you don't fix it.
Dutchie: Yes, correct. end.
Devy: Yeah.
Dutchie: And I don't want to see you get three and then give them enough time to go at seven. Like, that's not what I want to. That's no fun either. That's not that's not. Yeah, exactly.
Devy: Yeah, you gotta kill clock. You gotta kill the clock. I mean fine if you get down into the into the red zone and you're taking shots at the end zone and you just can't get in, but there's no time left on the clock from back. Like at least get
Dutchie: Correct. Yeah.
Devy: down there. You know I mean? So that you know
Dutchie: Yeah, 100%.
Devy: th you know, that's definitely that's a major improvement. You know, get if you get get us at least in the distance to you know take advantage of. but anyway, boys, you know, it's definitely gl glad to be back. you know, I'm I am looking forward to the game this weekend. you know, I'm I have high hopes there's a game that you know it's gonna be a game that we're gonna come back here on Sunday and talk be listen, they did everything that we needed them to do, watch it on to the next. Let's get ready for Vegas. and you know, hopefully, you know, at that game we get back to five hundred and then you got some really big tests coming up from there. but with that being said, boys, any closing thoughts on anything else?
Roz: I was just gonna say like like exactly what you said, like I'm excited to watch this game and I don't want this to be the last game I'm excited to watch. Like I I enjoy watching the Jets. I enjoy watching them play. They've been a fun team, they've been a scrappy team this year. But if you don't win this game, done. Season's done. It's done. And I don't want I don't want it to be a lost
Devy: Yeah.
Dutchie: the
Roz: season again before Halloween.
Dutchie: Like we said earlier, it will be like one of the darkest days on Jets like media and Twitter. It will be brutal like if you lose this game. So can't
Devy: Yeah.
Dutchie: happen.
Roz: Mm-hmm.
Devy: A hundred percent. Alright fellas, well it's been a pleasure, as always. We will circle
Roz: Yeah.
Devy: back and we will talk everything on Sunday and obviously it's obviously blessed by chats. And yeah, it's been a pleasure, boys. So he he has it. Yeah
Roz: Yeah. Go get back on his banky.
Dutchie: Yeah.
Devy: he's just murmuring in the background.
Roz: He yeah,
Dutchie: He's just fired up to watch them too.
Roz: he's yeah, he's fired up.
Devy: Yeah. Absolutely fired up, I'm sure. Alright, fellas. Talk to you soon. Bye.
Roz: See ya boys. Love you. Bye.
Dutchie: Alright, later. Later, boys. See ya.
