Hester and Hester got it five out of pa.
7
00:00:13.160 --> 00:00:14.960
Your locks in to Off the Bench.
8
00:00:15.199 --> 00:00:18.600
We describe control from the as.
9
00:00:19.920 --> 00:00:23.359
Live from the Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge Studio. Here's
10
00:00:23.440 --> 00:00:38.280
Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
11
00:00:39.280 --> 00:00:50.159
You welcome man O TV here on this Thursday morning.
12
00:00:50.719 --> 00:00:53.840
And like the great lyricists of our generation, walk a
13
00:00:53.920 --> 00:00:54.640
flock of flame.
14
00:00:54.679 --> 00:00:56.880
Once said, it's a party. It's a party.
15
00:00:57.119 --> 00:01:01.479
It's a party here in studio today, everybody dressed up
16
00:01:01.560 --> 00:01:02.920
for the fourth of July.
17
00:01:03.039 --> 00:01:05.760
Who was that lyricist walk a flock of flame?
18
00:01:06.000 --> 00:01:08.560
Okay, interesting way to start it.
19
00:01:09.120 --> 00:01:11.879
What he said? It said it was a party. That's
20
00:01:11.879 --> 00:01:12.840
what you wanted in here.
21
00:01:15.400 --> 00:01:20.480
Other lyricists voice spard of a generation also said it's
22
00:01:20.519 --> 00:01:24.799
a party in the U s a exact. Miley Cyrus
23
00:01:26.879 --> 00:01:28.519
formerly known as Hannah Montana.
24
00:01:29.040 --> 00:01:37.560
I think she was ever know like government wait hit him.
25
00:01:37.599 --> 00:01:39.319
Montana and Miley Cyrus are the same person.
26
00:01:39.879 --> 00:01:41.359
I hate to break Taylor.
27
00:01:41.599 --> 00:01:45.920
Yes, around my Thursday guests got him, no.
28
00:01:45.920 --> 00:01:46.640
Doubt, about it.
29
00:01:47.079 --> 00:01:50.719
Uh, welcome in glad to be here on the day
30
00:01:50.760 --> 00:01:52.719
before America's birthday.
31
00:01:56.239 --> 00:01:57.319
You go ahead and get out of the way that
32
00:01:57.319 --> 00:01:58.319
a launda didn't dress up.
33
00:01:58.680 --> 00:01:59.599
Yeah, let's get that out of way.
34
00:01:59.799 --> 00:02:03.920
It's there's a like, are we gonna address the fact
35
00:02:03.920 --> 00:02:06.439
that I'm the only one that forgot? And I was
36
00:02:06.480 --> 00:02:08.719
praying on your downfall this morning, and I was like,
37
00:02:08.800 --> 00:02:10.199
please forget laundry.
38
00:02:10.879 --> 00:02:14.879
Was hoping and praying my ct wud really was and
39
00:02:14.919 --> 00:02:15.840
that I would forget.
40
00:02:16.719 --> 00:02:19.000
He walked in and he had an America jersey on,
41
00:02:19.080 --> 00:02:20.000
and I was like, damn.
42
00:02:20.599 --> 00:02:22.759
She walked in and Taylor and I were in the
43
00:02:22.840 --> 00:02:26.240
studio and like you could just see the appointment overcome
44
00:02:26.319 --> 00:02:26.840
her face.
45
00:02:27.080 --> 00:02:30.599
I was like, I forgot. She looked like, let's do it.
46
00:02:30.759 --> 00:02:31.560
I know, she.
47
00:02:31.560 --> 00:02:33.479
Looked like the kid that showed up for free dress
48
00:02:33.520 --> 00:02:34.680
day at school and forgot.
49
00:02:34.719 --> 00:02:37.599
It was like, so he tried to counter denim jacket.
50
00:02:37.879 --> 00:02:38.039
I know.
51
00:02:38.080 --> 00:02:45.319
I was like, denim jacket, pretty American, it's Canadian. In
52
00:02:45.439 --> 00:02:47.319
the break, we cut the sleeves off in the break
53
00:02:48.080 --> 00:02:48.840
you like that, Jackie?
54
00:02:48.840 --> 00:02:49.680
Were you can?
55
00:02:50.319 --> 00:02:51.159
I wore it yesterday.
56
00:02:51.360 --> 00:02:52.599
Can't cut those sleeves off.
57
00:02:52.800 --> 00:02:55.199
It's Okay, it's okay, all right, we just had to
58
00:02:55.199 --> 00:02:56.479
get it out of the way because I'm sure it
59
00:02:56.560 --> 00:02:57.759
was going to come up throughout the show.
60
00:02:58.120 --> 00:02:59.840
Out of the way. Now, we won't bring it up again.
61
00:03:00.719 --> 00:03:02.919
So just kind of like they do with the oscars
62
00:03:02.960 --> 00:03:08.280
or whatever, like tell us who you're wearing, Jacob, Ready
63
00:03:08.280 --> 00:03:09.560
for that one?
64
00:03:09.680 --> 00:03:10.159
Ready for that?
65
00:03:10.319 --> 00:03:15.159
Sorry, I am wearing a Jedi Robinson US men's national
66
00:03:15.199 --> 00:03:16.039
team all.
67
00:03:15.960 --> 00:03:18.000
Right, out to Jedi and he's a soccer player.
68
00:03:18.000 --> 00:03:21.000
He plays left back for the United States men's national team. Yeah,
69
00:03:21.080 --> 00:03:24.560
and the US punched their ticket to the Gold Cup
70
00:03:24.639 --> 00:03:27.360
final against Mexico last night.
71
00:03:27.400 --> 00:03:29.840
Maybe Guatemala. Sorry, Mario, let's go.
72
00:03:30.800 --> 00:03:33.919
Sorry, not sorry, that's why I saw the post.
73
00:03:37.000 --> 00:03:38.039
We're talking throughout the game.
74
00:03:38.039 --> 00:03:40.479
Wait, so they just pust their ticket to it something
75
00:03:40.520 --> 00:03:42.800
against Mexico. Yeah, but then they just have like the
76
00:03:42.879 --> 00:03:44.000
Konka whatever.
77
00:03:44.080 --> 00:03:46.319
They're in the concor CAF Cold Cup right now.
78
00:03:46.360 --> 00:03:46.960
Okay, that's what.
79
00:03:47.159 --> 00:03:48.039
Yeah, that's what they're in.
80
00:03:48.080 --> 00:03:52.199
They beat Guatemala and Mexico beat Hondoras and now they'll
81
00:03:52.240 --> 00:03:55.159
face each other in the final, which they basically do
82
00:03:55.280 --> 00:03:56.240
every Gold Cup.
83
00:03:56.639 --> 00:03:59.800
Flynn, who's responsible for your trip?
84
00:04:00.800 --> 00:04:01.240
I drive?
85
00:04:01.360 --> 00:04:09.800
I drove sick purpose.
86
00:04:10.599 --> 00:04:19.600
Yes, this is a vintage okay, And by advantage, I
87
00:04:19.600 --> 00:04:21.120
mean I bought it like twelve years ago.
88
00:04:21.560 --> 00:04:22.000
Uh.
89
00:04:22.040 --> 00:04:24.560
It is a denim vest as you can see, cut
90
00:04:24.600 --> 00:04:28.240
off sleeves, and it's got America patrid here. I bought
91
00:04:28.240 --> 00:04:31.720
this in Green Bay, Wisconsin, a long way from here,
92
00:04:31.759 --> 00:04:32.639
I think about it.
93
00:04:32.759 --> 00:04:34.759
Uh, that's a long way.
94
00:04:35.680 --> 00:04:37.879
What's that place called. I'll think of it a minute.
95
00:04:37.879 --> 00:04:40.519
But I bought it to do one of every year.
96
00:04:40.800 --> 00:04:42.480
He was the best bet for your CTE.
97
00:04:42.759 --> 00:04:45.360
I know you remember.
98
00:04:46.639 --> 00:04:48.079
Your mouth, Okay, all right?
99
00:04:48.319 --> 00:04:50.399
Uh, I bought this for we have every year in
100
00:04:50.879 --> 00:04:53.519
training camp we would dress up for in Green Bay.
101
00:04:53.720 --> 00:04:56.720
It was before the last preseason game. They would have
102
00:04:56.759 --> 00:04:59.720
this deal where all these stockholders and boosters they would
103
00:04:59.720 --> 00:05:01.120
pay my need to come sit at the table at
104
00:05:01.160 --> 00:05:04.319
Lambeau and a player. They do like these player announcements
105
00:05:04.920 --> 00:05:07.480
where you go one player would sit at a table
106
00:05:07.560 --> 00:05:10.160
with a bunch of pain like guests, and the head coach.
107
00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:13.160
Would talk, Mark Murphy would talk. They was just like
108
00:05:13.199 --> 00:05:15.480
a kickoff like lunch and brunch.
109
00:05:16.000 --> 00:05:18.600
And so you were supposed to wear suits and ties
110
00:05:18.680 --> 00:05:22.040
and dressed nice and be respectable football player. Well, we
111
00:05:22.079 --> 00:05:24.639
would always just dress up in costumes and do it.
112
00:05:24.720 --> 00:05:28.399
And so this was when we did it. Got some
113
00:05:28.439 --> 00:05:30.519
headlines back in the day when we were dressed up
114
00:05:30.560 --> 00:05:32.560
in all denhim. I think there's a picture, Taylor. I
115
00:05:32.680 --> 00:05:35.000
would have looked for it. There's a me and Aaron.
116
00:05:35.240 --> 00:05:36.199
And have you.
117
00:05:36.279 --> 00:05:42.199
Ever seen this, y'all? It's it's literally all the denim.
118
00:05:42.240 --> 00:05:45.480
You can imagine it is JT and I even at
119
00:05:45.480 --> 00:05:47.839
the denim Fedora, I believe no.
120
00:05:47.959 --> 00:05:50.839
I had another Dinna paper boy hat. Aaron had a
121
00:05:51.240 --> 00:05:59.319
somebody in the picture. Yeah, uh huh. It was great. So, yeah,
122
00:05:59.360 --> 00:05:59.920
that's what I got.
123
00:06:00.759 --> 00:06:03.120
So I actually, I don't, honestly do not think I've
124
00:06:03.120 --> 00:06:05.680
put this on since that day.
125
00:06:06.000 --> 00:06:07.319
I'm amazed you still have it.
126
00:06:08.040 --> 00:06:10.439
So I cleaned out like I did a big purge
127
00:06:10.480 --> 00:06:12.040
of my closet like two or three years ago. You
128
00:06:12.040 --> 00:06:14.240
got to do that, like you know every decade or so.
129
00:06:15.519 --> 00:06:16.079
Stop it.
130
00:06:16.399 --> 00:06:22.319
Oh there, it is so many layers, so many layers.
131
00:06:22.759 --> 00:06:24.480
This is incredible, y'all.
132
00:06:24.519 --> 00:06:27.319
Walk in all dinim. The guy behind y'all like full shoes,
133
00:06:27.720 --> 00:06:28.120
ready to go.
134
00:06:28.240 --> 00:06:28.920
Tell y'all know.
135
00:06:29.279 --> 00:06:33.240
It was usually like the the quarterback room and a
136
00:06:33.279 --> 00:06:36.680
couple of the running backs like John kun Corey, Like
137
00:06:38.199 --> 00:06:40.160
there was like four or five of us, everyone dressed
138
00:06:40.199 --> 00:06:41.720
up real nice and then us.
139
00:06:42.120 --> 00:06:44.199
Did y'all make mention of it? Or is it just
140
00:06:44.240 --> 00:06:45.160
like what was going on? No?
141
00:06:45.199 --> 00:06:47.000
He just showed up. Oh yeah, we just show up.
142
00:06:49.279 --> 00:06:51.480
I do. It was actually in the pocket of this
143
00:06:51.639 --> 00:06:55.240
when I pulled out this morning. Did you wear the hat?
144
00:06:55.399 --> 00:06:56.480
I love that hat.
145
00:06:58.199 --> 00:07:00.120
Every day I got to remind people. I mean all
146
00:07:00.120 --> 00:07:01.360
the time I can remind people to hydrate.
147
00:07:01.720 --> 00:07:04.839
Yeah. I thought it was a bit too much that
148
00:07:04.959 --> 00:07:06.439
huge box of my high in front of you.
149
00:07:06.480 --> 00:07:06.519
Do.
150
00:07:06.720 --> 00:07:09.319
It's actually like my eyes were like half open too,
151
00:07:09.360 --> 00:07:12.319
So I wasn't thinking real fifty pack. Yeah it's a
152
00:07:12.399 --> 00:07:16.120
fifty pack. Yeah, so yeah, there it is. That's what
153
00:07:16.199 --> 00:07:16.920
that's my America.
154
00:07:17.920 --> 00:07:20.319
This is a bad boy. Came from old Navy guys
155
00:07:20.360 --> 00:07:22.560
about special and I think.
156
00:07:22.360 --> 00:07:24.639
It's what you were a church on Sunday, right it is?
157
00:07:24.759 --> 00:07:27.639
Ye where there's I got this actually a couple of
158
00:07:27.680 --> 00:07:30.879
years ago from my rehearsal dinner. No, I'm just kidding.
159
00:07:33.000 --> 00:07:34.199
I've had it four years.
160
00:07:34.240 --> 00:07:36.439
I think I've won it four times. Like it's just
161
00:07:36.680 --> 00:07:38.879
you break it out. On fourth of July, I had
162
00:07:38.879 --> 00:07:42.439
to look for it surprisingly like folded up neatly. Old Navy,
163
00:07:42.600 --> 00:07:43.839
I apparently care for this thing.
164
00:07:44.160 --> 00:07:46.439
That best Fourth of July class.
165
00:07:46.519 --> 00:07:48.279
I mean all the way back, they've always had it
166
00:07:48.319 --> 00:07:50.600
Fourth of July. Yeah, they usually have like a T
167
00:07:50.720 --> 00:07:53.680
shirt ready to go. If you don't have anything, you
168
00:07:53.720 --> 00:07:56.079
stop by Old Navy. You grab the shirt. Yeah, the
169
00:07:56.079 --> 00:07:59.399
American flag shirt unless you're laundr.
170
00:07:59.199 --> 00:08:05.639
Launder could have stop. Some are saying it's America.
171
00:08:04.319 --> 00:08:05.879
Saying I hate America.
172
00:08:06.120 --> 00:08:07.279
It's true, man.
173
00:08:07.279 --> 00:08:10.439
Well clip that the laundra of the communists.
174
00:08:11.399 --> 00:08:12.079
They clipped it.
175
00:08:12.600 --> 00:08:14.319
Yeah, clip that on yourself.
176
00:08:16.879 --> 00:08:18.759
Not doing it, that's okay.
177
00:08:19.240 --> 00:08:20.160
I love America.
178
00:08:20.600 --> 00:08:22.759
All right, we'll get it next to just remember next Friday.
179
00:08:22.800 --> 00:08:23.240
We'll get it.
180
00:08:23.319 --> 00:08:25.480
Burlington, Burlington Kill.
181
00:08:25.360 --> 00:08:27.720
Factory was the patch already on the patches on.
182
00:08:27.839 --> 00:08:30.079
Okay, I bought that whole outfit. I got that whole
183
00:08:30.240 --> 00:08:33.279
ensemble that.
184
00:08:32.200 --> 00:08:34.840
That you're wearing in that picture. You got it Burlington,
185
00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:36.360
sure did. That's insane.
186
00:08:36.559 --> 00:08:37.679
It's a coat factory.
187
00:08:38.519 --> 00:08:40.720
I guess the Burlington's up there are way better than
188
00:08:40.759 --> 00:08:41.480
the ones here.
189
00:08:42.120 --> 00:08:45.799
Are you saying that's good clothes? I mean, I mean
190
00:08:45.840 --> 00:08:47.559
this is.
191
00:08:46.960 --> 00:08:50.279
Your hat makes sense for denim? Where the hell do
192
00:08:50.360 --> 00:08:52.759
you get a denim for no I actually bought that
193
00:08:52.879 --> 00:08:53.320
for him.
194
00:08:54.440 --> 00:08:56.120
Was there too? Perfect?
195
00:08:56.200 --> 00:08:57.240
They got everything, apparently.
196
00:08:57.879 --> 00:09:01.679
I'm so excited, and you're not gonna They've got a
197
00:09:01.759 --> 00:09:02.279
denim for.
198
00:09:02.440 --> 00:09:07.559
Dora in a polo die and you're not a great
199
00:09:07.639 --> 00:09:09.840
steal Like, aren't they lower prices?
200
00:09:10.240 --> 00:09:12.480
Yeah, they're giving this away. It's basically free.
201
00:09:12.559 --> 00:09:14.759
That outfit was probably and then.
202
00:09:15.279 --> 00:09:16.840
I got paid thirty bucks to take it.
203
00:09:17.440 --> 00:09:20.639
I say, when he walked out, they started walking talking
204
00:09:20.879 --> 00:09:25.159
back and forth. Somebody actually bought the Fedora and the
205
00:09:25.200 --> 00:09:28.519
paper boy hat.
206
00:09:27.960 --> 00:09:29.840
The mission accomplished.
207
00:09:31.679 --> 00:09:34.799
There was actually like balloons and confetti that dropped from
208
00:09:34.840 --> 00:09:38.840
the ceiling when the credit card is accepted.
209
00:09:39.000 --> 00:09:41.240
We got another one. We got another one.
210
00:09:41.399 --> 00:09:42.840
Gosh, that's a look.
211
00:09:43.720 --> 00:09:44.519
It was a choice.
212
00:09:45.039 --> 00:09:47.919
So that was every year y'all did something like that.
213
00:09:48.080 --> 00:09:51.320
Oh look, hey check, Well I'll say great, but yeah,
214
00:09:51.320 --> 00:09:54.080
it's like me walking down here and like a respectable
215
00:09:54.240 --> 00:09:57.840
like Green Bay lady who probably paid a decent amount
216
00:09:57.840 --> 00:09:59.960
of money to sit at a table, walking me down
217
00:10:00.039 --> 00:10:02.720
on an aisle to like my table. At that point,
218
00:10:02.720 --> 00:10:05.320
me just looking like an idiot. I mean, me just
219
00:10:05.320 --> 00:10:05.960
looking awesome.
220
00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:08.799
I like the outfit.
221
00:10:09.000 --> 00:10:11.799
I actually look out again, I was just in Green Bay.
222
00:10:11.840 --> 00:10:13.240
I don't think you stick out that bad.
223
00:10:13.440 --> 00:10:16.320
Okay, fair, it's a fair.
224
00:10:18.039 --> 00:10:18.360
Up there.
225
00:10:18.480 --> 00:10:23.960
Yea, all look very midwestern. There was another year where
226
00:10:27.159 --> 00:10:30.759
Aaron dressed up as Ben Stiller from Happy Gilmore.
227
00:10:34.399 --> 00:10:35.159
To this event.
228
00:10:35.480 --> 00:10:37.960
Yeah, and strangely looked exactly like him.
229
00:10:38.240 --> 00:10:40.639
Okay, what what did? Is it always a theme?
230
00:10:40.720 --> 00:10:42.120
I wasn't I think that was one of the years.
231
00:10:42.120 --> 00:10:42.679
I wasn't there.
232
00:10:43.120 --> 00:10:43.559
Yeah it was.
233
00:10:43.600 --> 00:10:45.720
It's always a different theme. Yeah, we did like cow
234
00:10:46.240 --> 00:10:50.840
It started out like real simple, yeah, like country like Cowboy. Right,
235
00:10:50.960 --> 00:10:52.639
so it's like you can kind of still wear a suit,
236
00:10:52.720 --> 00:10:55.840
but you put like maybe a bolot on, cut a
237
00:10:55.840 --> 00:10:59.279
little food man chew something like that. Then as time
238
00:10:59.399 --> 00:11:02.919
went on, as time went on, it just got a
239
00:11:02.960 --> 00:11:04.200
little bit more.
240
00:11:04.600 --> 00:11:08.039
You know. Yeah, it's pretty good.
241
00:11:08.440 --> 00:11:11.519
God the you know, you can't see it if you're
242
00:11:12.320 --> 00:11:14.960
just listening in the car, But that is good. Aaron
243
00:11:15.039 --> 00:11:19.399
Rodgers has been Stiller. Well, now your back's gonna hurt?
244
00:11:22.600 --> 00:11:23.600
Could landscaping dude?
245
00:11:23.639 --> 00:11:26.600
Okay? Keying? Whoa? Well?
246
00:11:26.679 --> 00:11:28.559
Jet are we gonna see if we can throughout the show,
247
00:11:28.600 --> 00:11:31.000
if we can find more pictures of Flynn and all
248
00:11:31.039 --> 00:11:33.279
these other costumes.
249
00:11:34.919 --> 00:11:41.360
So anyway, Happy Birthday America. If America, those amazing men
250
00:11:42.000 --> 00:11:46.240
back in seventeen seventy six, didn't sign that beautiful piece
251
00:11:46.240 --> 00:11:49.480
of paper, who knows what would be? We'd probably be
252
00:11:49.840 --> 00:11:55.240
collin soccer football. We wouldn't have American football. Actually, think
253
00:11:55.279 --> 00:11:58.639
about it. The English actually came up with the term soccer.
254
00:12:00.159 --> 00:12:02.879
There we go, so so they don't even like their
255
00:12:02.879 --> 00:12:03.600
own creations.
256
00:12:04.919 --> 00:12:06.080
A bunch of idiots.
257
00:12:07.279 --> 00:12:09.759
It wasn't actually signed until August.
258
00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:11.759
It was declared.
259
00:12:11.799 --> 00:12:14.120
Though it was declared, it was the clause just trying
260
00:12:14.120 --> 00:12:16.600
to lay her dressing up for the Actually.
261
00:12:19.960 --> 00:12:21.919
You don't have that, you don't get the opportunity to
262
00:12:21.960 --> 00:12:30.200
speak about it. I guess what if John Hancock and
263
00:12:30.240 --> 00:12:32.600
the Boys didn't do it, would we have American football?
264
00:12:32.639 --> 00:12:36.320
Would we have baseball? America would probably have stopped at
265
00:12:36.360 --> 00:12:40.679
the Mississippi River. Who knows, who knows what would have happened?
266
00:12:41.039 --> 00:12:43.639
Thank God, and we're all you know, thank God.
267
00:12:43.480 --> 00:12:43.919
No Gibbs.
268
00:12:43.960 --> 00:12:45.960
I guess we would technically still be here. We're a
269
00:12:45.960 --> 00:12:48.639
little east of the said Mississippi yep.
270
00:12:48.840 --> 00:12:49.200
I don't know.
271
00:12:49.279 --> 00:12:51.639
Maybe, but what we call ourselves, I don't know.
272
00:12:51.720 --> 00:12:57.279
Maybe we'd we'd still just be thirteen colonies. We don't
273
00:12:57.320 --> 00:13:00.600
have to worry about it though, because there could kick
274
00:13:00.639 --> 00:13:01.519
that ass.
275
00:13:02.679 --> 00:13:04.039
Hell y'all, hell y'all.
276
00:13:05.000 --> 00:13:05.639
That they did.
277
00:13:06.639 --> 00:13:10.240
So we're able to be here why celebrating America fourth
278
00:13:10.320 --> 00:13:14.039
July tomorrow. We won't be here though, over here today,
279
00:13:14.639 --> 00:13:17.399
and we'll get this thing started when we come back on.
280
00:13:17.320 --> 00:13:21.600
OTB off the bench, all right.
281
00:13:21.639 --> 00:13:25.519

gives you an idea of what it would cost. And
293
00:13:55.200 --> 00:13:58.440
also Flynn, you can check out the financing options.
294
00:13:58.480 --> 00:14:02.200

twenty one months.
296
00:14:03.080 --> 00:14:04.159
You know, when you do a big.
297
00:14:04.000 --> 00:14:06.799
Project like this, the most frustrating thing is not having
298
00:14:06.799 --> 00:14:08.519
that attention every single.
299
00:14:08.320 --> 00:14:11.279
Day from somebody on the job. Repelican Roof. They're gonna
300
00:14:11.320 --> 00:14:14.080
dedicate the project manager to just your job. Give them
301
00:14:14.080 --> 00:14:15.879
a call to day, go see them, see what they
302
00:14:15.879 --> 00:14:28.720
can do for you. Pelicanroof dot com.
303
00:14:29.039 --> 00:14:32.720
Winter getting colder, Summer getting warmer. Title we have come
304
00:14:32.759 --> 00:14:36.519
across a Mexican border. Wh back gallon. It's cheaper by
305
00:14:36.600 --> 00:14:39.879
the barrel of stone. Get busted singing Christmas.
306
00:14:39.480 --> 00:14:43.399
Care roles from players to legends. Hester and Flynn breakdown
307
00:14:43.480 --> 00:14:46.759
LSU football like only champions can right.
308
00:14:47.240 --> 00:14:52.240
Both ends of the yelling funny how the world keeps turning?
309
00:14:54.240 --> 00:14:56.639
No, I love.
310
00:15:00.559 --> 00:15:08.639
Welcome back off the bench. July third, Get your fireworks ready?
311
00:15:10.720 --> 00:15:15.240
Actually going today to see what kind of day before
312
00:15:15.320 --> 00:15:19.039
deals I can get on the fireworks. Trying to figure
313
00:15:19.039 --> 00:15:20.440
out where the best place to go to is. I
314
00:15:20.440 --> 00:15:22.960
go to Prairieville, I go across the river, Like, what's
315
00:15:23.000 --> 00:15:27.440
the best spot to get the best deals? I guess
316
00:15:27.559 --> 00:15:30.240
what's the rules? There are no rules.
317
00:15:30.360 --> 00:15:33.519
Well, there is an e v R. You can't do
318
00:15:33.600 --> 00:15:35.919
fireworks correct, That's what.
319
00:15:35.919 --> 00:15:40.000
They say, but right, I feel like cops and EBR
320
00:15:40.120 --> 00:15:42.600
got more to worry about than Yeah, they'll just like
321
00:15:42.679 --> 00:15:45.639
look up in the sky and that rule is being
322
00:15:45.639 --> 00:15:47.039
broken by everybody.
323
00:15:48.720 --> 00:15:52.720
Why is that a rule though, Probably because you know
324
00:15:52.799 --> 00:15:53.840
the fires and stuff.
325
00:15:54.039 --> 00:15:57.639
Well yeah, but it's not like we're in a place
326
00:15:57.679 --> 00:16:00.919
that's dry, Like it's literally so human here.
327
00:16:00.960 --> 00:16:04.120
When you walk out, you feel like your head's in
328
00:16:04.159 --> 00:16:04.559
an oven.
329
00:16:05.840 --> 00:16:09.159
So I don't think they're banned this year. It just
330
00:16:09.440 --> 00:16:14.320
the fire Marshal just urges safe fireworks use because.
331
00:16:14.000 --> 00:16:18.759
We used to have to drive to Saint Gabriel to
332
00:16:18.799 --> 00:16:21.600
get our fireworks and then come back into EBR.
333
00:16:22.080 --> 00:16:25.639
I don't see any for sale in in Baton Rouge.
334
00:16:26.320 --> 00:16:28.360
Oh wait, hold on another, y'all come up.
335
00:16:28.320 --> 00:16:30.519
To my neck in the woods. There are so many
336
00:16:30.679 --> 00:16:34.519
damn fireworks on the main like strip of Walker. There's
337
00:16:34.559 --> 00:16:36.879
like five. They're like that got offered you ten bucks. Here,
338
00:16:36.919 --> 00:16:38.840
this one's for five, Like they're they're out. They're trying
339
00:16:38.840 --> 00:16:39.600
to outbit each other.
340
00:16:39.639 --> 00:16:41.879
All right, man, there's if there's anything that's going to
341
00:16:41.960 --> 00:16:44.120
thrive in Walker, it's going to be a fireworks stand.
342
00:16:44.120 --> 00:16:46.519
We gotta we gotta whole fireworks and display in our
343
00:16:46.559 --> 00:16:50.519
city park. Yeah, I think it's Saturday, big time, big
344
00:16:50.559 --> 00:16:52.519
time chairs.
345
00:16:52.159 --> 00:16:55.600
Somebody from Walker driving up to the fireworks stand and
346
00:16:55.679 --> 00:16:59.039
Joe Dirt and the questions that they would have, Oh my.
347
00:16:58.960 --> 00:17:01.240
God, yeah, where's a good stuff or good stuff? But
348
00:17:01.720 --> 00:17:05.480
you gotta you got a back room? You ever been to?
349
00:17:06.839 --> 00:17:07.440
You got.
350
00:17:09.559 --> 00:17:12.519
You ever seen nig You're driving to Florida and they
351
00:17:12.599 --> 00:17:18.160
had that big old fireworks superstore, Like it's right off Interstate.
352
00:17:17.799 --> 00:17:19.119
And that's in Alabama.
353
00:17:19.160 --> 00:17:21.160
Yeah, it's like right before you, right before you get
354
00:17:22.200 --> 00:17:23.519
and the sounds like yeah, yeah, it's right.
355
00:17:23.880 --> 00:17:26.119
And it looks like it's like two or three stories.
356
00:17:26.039 --> 00:17:28.440
Brand new one by the by the BUCkies right before that.
357
00:17:28.559 --> 00:17:32.160
Now really yeah, well so that one is the most
358
00:17:32.200 --> 00:17:34.480
like fools gold place you've ever been. I stopped there
359
00:17:34.519 --> 00:17:37.039
one time. We went in because of course it was
360
00:17:37.039 --> 00:17:38.240
like we were going there for the fourth of some
361
00:17:38.319 --> 00:17:40.920
getting some fireworks, and uh, I'm.
362
00:17:40.720 --> 00:17:43.200
Expecting this place to be huge because it looks huge.
363
00:17:43.240 --> 00:17:46.079
It looks like it's like fifty foot high blah blah blah.
364
00:17:46.160 --> 00:17:48.599
Well it's they just put up a really tall wall
365
00:17:49.319 --> 00:17:51.200
to make it look bigger, and it's just like a
366
00:17:51.400 --> 00:17:54.480
kind of a small room. It's like it's like the
367
00:17:54.519 --> 00:17:57.279
size maybe maybe the size of like this studio.
368
00:17:57.000 --> 00:17:59.079
In that office right there combined. Are you serious?
369
00:17:59.119 --> 00:18:01.160
Yeah, oh yeah, I play it looks huge. It does
370
00:18:01.160 --> 00:18:01.599
look huge.
371
00:18:01.640 --> 00:18:03.720
It's funny you said that it's actually kind of skinny
372
00:18:03.880 --> 00:18:05.559
if you look at it from the side, but I
373
00:18:05.680 --> 00:18:06.599
was thinking it was tall.
374
00:18:06.680 --> 00:18:06.880
Yeah.
375
00:18:06.880 --> 00:18:08.599
I mean they had good stuff. I'm not gonna get
376
00:18:08.640 --> 00:18:10.440
them wrong. They had more than snakes and sparkle.
377
00:18:10.480 --> 00:18:12.200
They had more than snakes and spark They had whisker
378
00:18:12.279 --> 00:18:14.160
dews and whisker damn.
379
00:18:14.359 --> 00:18:17.200
Look, go out to uh Denim right off the interstate.
380
00:18:17.359 --> 00:18:20.680
It's called Louisiana Firework Warehouse. It's huge, like that's where
381
00:18:20.680 --> 00:18:22.240
we go. Okay, all right, and it's not like a
382
00:18:22.279 --> 00:18:23.960
tent like it's like year round building.
383
00:18:24.079 --> 00:18:26.799
Yeah, we're gonna go there. I'm gonna get my negotiating
384
00:18:26.880 --> 00:18:30.039
boots on. I'm gonna get so many free black cats.
385
00:18:31.119 --> 00:18:32.039
Uh shout out to you.
386
00:18:32.119 --> 00:18:34.599
Go DJ inside to buy you four Chat says he
387
00:18:34.720 --> 00:18:38.519
is djaying a fireworks show tomorrow night at Laburg's rooftop
388
00:18:38.559 --> 00:18:41.359
pool from seven to eleven, said swing by for a
389
00:18:41.400 --> 00:18:43.839
do sakis.
390
00:18:43.359 --> 00:18:44.559
Or couple responsibly?
391
00:18:44.920 --> 00:18:48.599
Yes, because if you're going for dose you can't go for.
392
00:18:49.839 --> 00:18:52.880
I mean, there are few pleasures in life that top
393
00:18:53.759 --> 00:18:55.119
a cold beer on the Fourth of July.
394
00:18:58.200 --> 00:18:59.039
What's on.
395
00:19:00.440 --> 00:19:03.720
If you got a plate right, and you can only
396
00:19:03.759 --> 00:19:07.279
put three things on said plate for the Fourth of July,
397
00:19:07.920 --> 00:19:08.960
you only get three.
398
00:19:10.519 --> 00:19:11.160
Three beers.
399
00:19:12.359 --> 00:19:15.960
Can't put a beer on the plate three?
400
00:19:16.960 --> 00:19:18.960
I think I think I finally we started talking to
401
00:19:19.240 --> 00:19:22.359
a little bit yesterday, but I think I'm going hot dog,
402
00:19:24.039 --> 00:19:27.960
potato salad, and banana pudding.
403
00:19:28.799 --> 00:19:33.519
Come, I gotta go burger and dog wow. But I
404
00:19:33.559 --> 00:19:35.559
think I'm gonna go apple pie. That's a pretty American
405
00:19:35.559 --> 00:19:37.279
dessert that'll prey be my dessert.
406
00:19:37.960 --> 00:19:42.319
I said banana pudding yesterday on off campus, and my
407
00:19:42.359 --> 00:19:46.119
producer Dennis, who's from Connecticut, he's like, banana pudding we're
408
00:19:46.160 --> 00:19:46.880
talking about.
409
00:19:46.799 --> 00:19:48.799
Yeah, No, He's like, he's like like jello.
410
00:19:48.920 --> 00:19:53.720
I was like, no, banana banana pudding and whipped cream
411
00:19:53.799 --> 00:19:54.880
and vanilla wafers.
412
00:19:54.880 --> 00:19:57.720
He's like, what did you put that on your plate?
413
00:19:57.759 --> 00:19:58.640
What was your third thing.
414
00:19:58.880 --> 00:20:00.880
Todaya salad, banana pu and hot dog.
415
00:20:02.400 --> 00:20:04.119
It's a choice.
416
00:20:04.240 --> 00:20:05.680
I'm not trying to get him touch each other, but
417
00:20:05.720 --> 00:20:09.359
I'm saying, if you have three things.
418
00:20:12.559 --> 00:20:18.519
I'm sticking with my protein from yesterday. Baby back ribs. Yeah,
419
00:20:19.599 --> 00:20:20.680
thank you, thank you, thank you.
420
00:20:20.920 --> 00:20:24.440
Uh yeah, the right person has to make those.
421
00:20:24.519 --> 00:20:28.079
I guess a potato salad like I don't. I don't
422
00:20:28.119 --> 00:20:30.359
crush a lot of the sides like. I'm more of
423
00:20:30.400 --> 00:20:33.839
a like a hot side kind of guy. Not like
424
00:20:34.039 --> 00:20:38.000
baked beans. What we don't touch beans? You don't like
425
00:20:38.160 --> 00:20:43.359
baked beans. Beans are objectively trash. I don't like any
426
00:20:43.359 --> 00:20:46.039
type of bean. Don't white beans. I don't want to
427
00:20:46.079 --> 00:20:47.559
see it. I don't want to touch it. I don't
428
00:20:47.559 --> 00:20:48.880
even want to hear the word.
429
00:20:50.759 --> 00:20:51.160
I don't know.
430
00:20:51.279 --> 00:20:53.200
I don't care if they're refried, I don't care if
431
00:20:53.200 --> 00:20:55.519
they're one fried, I don't care if they're baked.
432
00:20:55.599 --> 00:20:58.119
So I'm assuming like black beans, black God peace is
433
00:20:58.279 --> 00:21:00.720
in there to be black a piece of trash.
434
00:21:00.920 --> 00:21:04.599
I think black eyed yes, But like you like like bands.
435
00:21:04.640 --> 00:21:06.240
I love the band Black Eyed Peas.
436
00:21:06.640 --> 00:21:09.839
I hate the food good snacks and black eyed peas
437
00:21:09.880 --> 00:21:10.920
and brown rice.
438
00:21:11.480 --> 00:21:12.839
O don't know. It's a weird thing I've always had
439
00:21:12.839 --> 00:21:15.000
about beans. Okay, don't like them, don't want them on
440
00:21:15.000 --> 00:21:16.680
a plate, don't want to touch my food, don't even
441
00:21:16.680 --> 00:21:20.359
want it my food are Actually it kind of is
442
00:21:21.240 --> 00:21:24.000
does Texas does Texas chili have beans or no beans?
443
00:21:24.279 --> 00:21:25.200
No beans? Thank you?
444
00:21:25.359 --> 00:21:27.960
I mean I put beans in like we put beans
445
00:21:28.000 --> 00:21:28.440
in our chili.
446
00:21:28.559 --> 00:21:30.440
Did you like all beans or is like just.
447
00:21:31.200 --> 00:21:33.079
I mean I'm not against beans.
448
00:21:32.920 --> 00:21:34.880
Okay, because I was like, maybe it wasn't Texas thing
449
00:21:34.920 --> 00:21:36.640
like if she didn't either, But no, it's just fun.
450
00:21:36.759 --> 00:21:41.759
They are despite popular belief, they are absolutely not the
451
00:21:41.839 --> 00:21:48.920
magical fruit. So on my plate, no beans.
452
00:21:50.440 --> 00:21:52.680
You just said ribs and then no beans, like are
453
00:21:52.720 --> 00:21:53.680
you just eating ribs?
454
00:21:53.960 --> 00:21:56.839
I got ribs, like we talked. I like the potato
455
00:21:56.880 --> 00:22:01.039
salad made with more of a mustard bass. I mean
456
00:22:01.079 --> 00:22:04.160
if all like the cold kind of sides that you
457
00:22:04.200 --> 00:22:06.359
can get for the Fourth of July, that would probably
458
00:22:06.359 --> 00:22:12.119
be that'd probably be the top. Then I'm going with homemade.
459
00:22:11.720 --> 00:22:15.720
Somebody Siri picked up in the studio, Okay, I thought
460
00:22:15.720 --> 00:22:18.680
it was tripping. Yeah you think it was, it wasn't me.
461
00:22:19.920 --> 00:22:23.079
And then I will I'm gonna go with homemade vanilla
462
00:22:23.119 --> 00:22:27.240
ice cream in the little uh churn churned up ice cream,
463
00:22:27.440 --> 00:22:27.880
no doubt.
464
00:22:27.880 --> 00:22:30.839
All right, that's actually not a bad play Landram.
465
00:22:30.200 --> 00:22:34.759
Gonna go hot dog potato salad. And now that y'all
466
00:22:34.759 --> 00:22:36.359
are bringing up a dessert, I feel like I need
467
00:22:36.359 --> 00:22:39.359
to put a dessert in there. You probably gonna be
468
00:22:39.400 --> 00:22:40.079
banana pudding.
469
00:22:40.200 --> 00:22:41.200
Yeah, great plate?
470
00:22:41.359 --> 00:22:42.240
Wait was that the scene?
471
00:22:42.319 --> 00:22:42.559
That is?
472
00:22:43.680 --> 00:22:51.839
Nowadym pi've already singled yourself out today by not wearing America.
473
00:22:51.960 --> 00:22:54.039
It's okay to be on our team. It's okay to
474
00:22:54.079 --> 00:22:56.440
be on the same team here. Okay, you don't have
475
00:22:56.519 --> 00:22:57.440
to be an individual.
476
00:22:58.039 --> 00:23:00.000
What would we call that a plate that you?
477
00:23:01.400 --> 00:23:02.640
I'll give you that one, Thank you?
478
00:23:03.920 --> 00:23:08.960
That was it? Oh my gosh?
479
00:23:09.000 --> 00:23:12.839
All right, do you love a PCOMPI though ambrosia salad?
480
00:23:13.079 --> 00:23:16.680
All right, it sounds fancy.
481
00:23:16.720 --> 00:23:17.200
It's just like.
482
00:23:22.000 --> 00:23:23.319
God, I hadn't seen that movie in.
483
00:23:25.160 --> 00:23:26.640
Fifteen years.
484
00:23:27.000 --> 00:23:29.200
All right, well, uh you've seen the movie.
485
00:23:29.480 --> 00:23:33.519
We'll ask Aaron Murray what's on his plate of food
486
00:23:33.640 --> 00:23:34.680
for fourth of July?
487
00:23:34.920 --> 00:23:37.400
Daniel, Sorry, you can't cancel me, bud, because I don't
488
00:23:37.440 --> 00:23:38.039
like beans.
489
00:23:38.440 --> 00:23:41.440
You can Aaron Murray when we come back here on
490
00:23:41.640 --> 00:23:47.039
TV off the bench. Bet Tommy likes beans. Can you
491
00:23:47.079 --> 00:23:49.200
imagine right now? By the way, like if dev is
492
00:23:49.240 --> 00:23:53.440
watching this show, I told him the other day, right holdmeo,
493
00:23:53.559 --> 00:23:55.839
just trying to enjoy some good. It was fine OTB
494
00:23:56.039 --> 00:23:58.680
and he sees Flynn say he doesn't like beans, which
495
00:23:58.720 --> 00:24:01.839
is like the whole empire that Dev is built for himself.
496
00:24:01.839 --> 00:24:04.759
It's okay. Go Tommies dot Com is the website.

501
00:24:20.400 --> 00:24:23.240
that Tommy and the team do. Right, they are champions

514
00:25:25.920 --> 00:25:29.440
All right, Welcome back in OTB one four five ESPN
515
00:25:29.480 --> 00:25:33.519
Baton rouge trying to catch up with our guy, Aaron Murray.
516
00:25:34.119 --> 00:25:34.720
I know he's up.
517
00:25:35.119 --> 00:25:36.920
He wrote me earlier. It's like, hey, can we go
518
00:25:37.160 --> 00:25:39.880
any earlier? And I said, my guy, we don't start
519
00:25:40.000 --> 00:25:42.680
till seven. So he said it was all good. We'll
520
00:25:42.720 --> 00:25:44.079
see if he is all good.
521
00:25:44.799 --> 00:25:47.519
He's going to be on the golf course true the time.
522
00:25:47.559 --> 00:25:47.880
It's okay.
523
00:25:47.920 --> 00:25:51.400
I mean, look, if any show can be joined from
524
00:25:51.400 --> 00:25:54.039
a golf course, it certainly is this one. All right,
525
00:25:54.079 --> 00:25:57.079

Go flow.
542
00:26:51.200 --> 00:26:53.759
Might be a good idea if you're having a couple
543
00:26:54.359 --> 00:26:57.960
cole pops and enjoying them. Responsibility, but you got something
544
00:26:58.000 --> 00:26:59.440
early Saturday morning, Yep.
545
00:26:59.359 --> 00:27:03.079
Be proactive. July third, pretty good day to get hydrated
546
00:27:03.200 --> 00:27:05.559
before some cold bops.
547
00:27:05.880 --> 00:27:08.200
Yeah, don't wait too late. It's all about preparation. I
548
00:27:08.279 --> 00:27:11.200
don't wait proper preparation. All right, let's go to the
549
00:27:11.279 --> 00:27:12.000
phone lines now.
550
00:27:12.160 --> 00:27:15.400
Our guy Aaron Murray, of course, former UGA quarterback, now
551
00:27:15.480 --> 00:27:17.200
doing big things for ESPN.
552
00:27:17.519 --> 00:27:19.200
What is going on? Aaron? How are we doing, sir?
553
00:27:19.839 --> 00:27:20.400
What's up?
554
00:27:20.480 --> 00:27:20.920
What's up?
555
00:27:21.079 --> 00:27:24.000
First time with the new coh. It's excited to join
556
00:27:24.039 --> 00:27:24.839
you guys again, Aaron.
557
00:27:24.880 --> 00:27:26.240
I'm so fired up right now.
558
00:27:26.400 --> 00:27:28.440
I am uh let's go. I get beat over that
559
00:27:28.519 --> 00:27:30.799
every day by this little fullback, and so it's nice
560
00:27:30.839 --> 00:27:34.240
to like outnumber him with some QB knowledge at least.
561
00:27:34.640 --> 00:27:36.200
Well, it's nice to get on here and talk with
562
00:27:36.279 --> 00:27:37.359
a you know, a quarterback.
563
00:27:37.640 --> 00:27:37.799
You know.
564
00:27:37.880 --> 00:27:40.920
It's a little mixed up from five years ago, we
565
00:27:41.000 --> 00:27:42.599
got on here talk about Harry Potter and I get
566
00:27:42.640 --> 00:27:43.599
to talk about quarterback.
567
00:27:43.680 --> 00:27:44.400
So this is this is.
568
00:27:47.440 --> 00:27:51.319
We're talking from Harry Potter to like, uh, power football,
569
00:27:51.839 --> 00:27:54.759
lead blocking x's and o's. Now we can actually talk
570
00:27:54.839 --> 00:27:55.400
real football.
571
00:27:55.880 --> 00:27:58.759
Oh I missed the full back position. I do miss
572
00:27:59.000 --> 00:27:59.240
I do?
573
00:27:59.440 --> 00:27:59.880
I listen.
574
00:28:00.839 --> 00:28:02.680
The only time I ever did not like it when
575
00:28:02.720 --> 00:28:04.640
I tried to throw a back shoulder stage did my
576
00:28:04.759 --> 00:28:07.640
full back. I was like, it was like a busted play.
577
00:28:07.720 --> 00:28:12.160
I'm rolling out and trying to throw a back shoulder
578
00:28:12.279 --> 00:28:14.319
in the end zone and he's like kind of scrambling,
579
00:28:15.079 --> 00:28:17.640
he like trips over himself and turned into an interception
580
00:28:18.359 --> 00:28:20.759
and it actually wasn't in their sception. But Bubbo was
581
00:28:20.880 --> 00:28:22.960
so mad that I tried to throw a back shoulder
582
00:28:23.039 --> 00:28:26.000
to a full back that he refused to challenge the
583
00:28:26.039 --> 00:28:27.319
play to send me a message.
584
00:28:27.519 --> 00:28:30.400
Oh gosh, Yeah, who was the I'm trying to think
585
00:28:30.400 --> 00:28:31.960
he's the fullback, but Sunderland was.
586
00:28:31.960 --> 00:28:33.240
He was he there when you were there?
587
00:28:33.920 --> 00:28:36.680
It was before me. This is a shot out Merritt Hall.
588
00:28:36.960 --> 00:28:38.480
You know it was not his final settlement.
589
00:28:38.599 --> 00:28:41.640
But yeah, well in your defense, Aaron, like you can
590
00:28:41.759 --> 00:28:44.240
usually for fullbacks mostly you can throw a back shoulder,
591
00:28:44.279 --> 00:28:46.839
front shoulder, left shoulder, right shoulder. Usually they don't catch it.
592
00:28:47.119 --> 00:28:50.119
So yeah, so you you guy have to put it
593
00:28:50.160 --> 00:28:51.680
on a shoulder though, I was like you told me
594
00:28:52.319 --> 00:28:54.160
for the full back, you just have to keep it
595
00:28:54.240 --> 00:28:56.920
between the shoulder pads. I did that and he tripped.
596
00:28:57.000 --> 00:29:00.680
So I had forty catches my junior or before you
597
00:29:00.759 --> 00:29:04.200
were the quarterback pal. Turns out it was you only
598
00:29:04.240 --> 00:29:08.319
had like fifteen with your Jay Russ feeding me the rot.
599
00:29:08.359 --> 00:29:10.559
All right, You didn't love those perfect passes.
600
00:29:11.480 --> 00:29:14.000
Because is that because that's all Jay Russ could throw.
601
00:29:14.519 --> 00:29:16.680
Well, he threw every one the same speed.
602
00:29:18.000 --> 00:29:18.559
That's true.
603
00:29:19.359 --> 00:29:22.079
The ball caught you, very true.
604
00:29:23.160 --> 00:29:26.839
Before we get to the quarterback nonsense, very important question.
605
00:29:27.839 --> 00:29:31.039
If you're making your plate tomorrow for the fourth of July,
606
00:29:31.359 --> 00:29:33.160
you get three things on there.
607
00:29:33.720 --> 00:29:35.200
What are those three things? And why?
608
00:29:36.039 --> 00:29:39.759
Ooh, I feel like you gotta go with a hot
609
00:29:39.799 --> 00:29:41.880
dog just because it's fourth of July. So the hot
610
00:29:41.920 --> 00:29:44.960
dog is gonna be on there. I would like a
611
00:29:45.160 --> 00:29:48.599
nice rack of ribs. Sounds pretty juicy to me, all right,
612
00:29:49.319 --> 00:29:50.079
and then corn.
613
00:29:49.920 --> 00:29:50.359
On the cob.
614
00:29:50.759 --> 00:29:53.319
Oh, okay, first corn on the cob.
615
00:29:53.359 --> 00:29:57.119
By the day, the first corn on the cob for
616
00:29:57.200 --> 00:29:57.759
Fourth of July.
617
00:29:58.000 --> 00:30:01.160
Well, yeah, I mean so I went hot dog, potato salad,
618
00:30:01.279 --> 00:30:02.000
banana pudding.
619
00:30:02.920 --> 00:30:05.319
Okay, see, I just get to dessert. That's something me.
620
00:30:05.599 --> 00:30:06.279
Are you still trying?
621
00:30:06.359 --> 00:30:08.519
Are you still like the lean and mean trying to
622
00:30:08.599 --> 00:30:12.119
run five k's? Are you ran like a marathon or something?
623
00:30:12.279 --> 00:30:14.279
Well, you ran a marathon. It We actually just signed
624
00:30:14.319 --> 00:30:15.920
up for our ticket marathon in March.
625
00:30:16.039 --> 00:30:22.519
So it's gonna give you a pass for doing one,
626
00:30:22.799 --> 00:30:25.720
but like, do it too. That's on you, buddy.
627
00:30:26.440 --> 00:30:28.440
I know, I think I think it's one a year,
628
00:30:28.720 --> 00:30:31.160
one a year right now, So I'm yeah, get in there,
629
00:30:31.440 --> 00:30:33.200
skinny shapes. I can eat as much as I want
630
00:30:33.240 --> 00:30:34.480
tomorrow fair enough.
631
00:30:34.960 --> 00:30:37.359
Hey, are you gonna obviously I know you you live there,
632
00:30:37.480 --> 00:30:40.480
but are you with us? Uh during media days at all?
633
00:30:40.599 --> 00:30:42.240
Like do we get a chance to hang out?
634
00:30:42.599 --> 00:30:43.359
See Air Murray.
635
00:30:44.039 --> 00:30:47.000
It's all for our boy, Matt. If mass wants me there,
636
00:30:47.119 --> 00:30:48.920
since I live right down the street, I'll be there.
637
00:30:48.960 --> 00:30:50.960
But now I think one way or the other, I'll
638
00:30:51.039 --> 00:30:54.680
I'll be meandering around the convention Center in Atlanta fresh
639
00:30:54.920 --> 00:30:57.480
media days just you know, as you guys know, it's
640
00:30:57.519 --> 00:31:00.440
like the somewhat unofficial kickoffs of the football season. So
641
00:31:00.519 --> 00:31:02.799
it's a lot of a lot of likeliness, a lot
642
00:31:02.839 --> 00:31:05.880
of excitement. You know, maybe we'll hear about a nine
643
00:31:05.920 --> 00:31:08.559
game SEC schedule at some point during it. I don't know,
644
00:31:09.200 --> 00:31:11.559
seems like always some massive news does drop at some
645
00:31:11.680 --> 00:31:15.839
point during SEC media days. So I mean, it's crazy
646
00:31:15.880 --> 00:31:18.359
to think that we're, you know, two weeks away from
647
00:31:18.440 --> 00:31:20.720
that and then you know, practice for these guys starts
648
00:31:20.759 --> 00:31:22.119
probably the end of the month for most teams. I
649
00:31:22.160 --> 00:31:24.759
would think beginning of August, so you know, football right
650
00:31:24.759 --> 00:31:27.599
around the corner. Thank goodness, Aaron, the.
651
00:31:29.200 --> 00:31:31.079
I've been We've been talking about this a little bit
652
00:31:31.559 --> 00:31:36.599
Vegas preseason odds to win the Heisman. Arch Manning's top
653
00:31:36.640 --> 00:31:39.000
in that list and plus seven hundred. So in this
654
00:31:39.400 --> 00:31:41.519
in the SEC world, you we have we're kind of
655
00:31:41.519 --> 00:31:43.240
all over the place with quarterbacks. We've got a lot
656
00:31:43.279 --> 00:31:48.039
of talent, top heavy, but is this uh arch man
657
00:31:48.160 --> 00:31:50.839
We got a lot of hype versus someone like Garrett.
658
00:31:50.880 --> 00:31:54.039
We got Lenora, Sarah Leonora sellers that are more of
659
00:31:54.400 --> 00:31:57.279
got the experience. So give us your thoughts on just
660
00:31:57.319 --> 00:31:59.559
the top of the top of the pack on the
661
00:31:59.640 --> 00:32:00.720
SEC quarterbacks right now.
662
00:32:00.839 --> 00:32:02.799
What you think about these these vegasides.
663
00:32:03.519 --> 00:32:05.319
Well, it's funny. I mean, hester last time you and
664
00:32:05.400 --> 00:32:06.799
I or you brought me on the show is like
665
00:32:06.839 --> 00:32:08.599
a month and a half ago. Is kind of what
666
00:32:08.720 --> 00:32:11.759
I made those comments about Art and then our boy.
667
00:32:12.680 --> 00:32:14.279
I guess I can't say our boy. But you know,
668
00:32:14.359 --> 00:32:17.759
the Gator hater over here us being a Gator haters,
669
00:32:18.119 --> 00:32:20.640
the old ball coach says as he ripped off my
670
00:32:20.799 --> 00:32:25.240
quote verbatim, I mean, like word for word. So I've
671
00:32:25.279 --> 00:32:27.559
been having to deal with Texas fans for for you know,
672
00:32:27.680 --> 00:32:30.880
six weeks after my comments. I'm open that he's having
673
00:32:30.920 --> 00:32:33.759
to deal with the Longhorn fans as well. But you know,
674
00:32:34.160 --> 00:32:37.079
I continue to try to tell people because I keep
675
00:32:37.119 --> 00:32:39.079
getting hit like, oh, you're an Arch hater. You're an Arch.
676
00:32:39.400 --> 00:32:41.920
I'm not an Arch hater. Like I think Arch is
677
00:32:42.000 --> 00:32:44.000
a talented quarterback. I'm going to root for him. I
678
00:32:44.039 --> 00:32:46.880
hope he has a great season, except when he comes
679
00:32:46.880 --> 00:32:48.720
to Athens to play my dogs. Other than that, I
680
00:32:48.759 --> 00:32:50.960
hope he goes out there and kicks butt. But you know,
681
00:32:51.039 --> 00:32:52.680
I need to see it. I need I need a
682
00:32:52.720 --> 00:32:55.480
bigger sample size. I need I need a game against
683
00:32:55.519 --> 00:32:57.599
Ohio state. I need to see him perform against an
684
00:32:57.720 --> 00:33:01.319
sec defense in the elite ash because last year he
685
00:33:01.359 --> 00:33:03.640
did not do that in an elite fashion against you know,
686
00:33:03.720 --> 00:33:06.799
good defenses. He looks good and makes some really impressive throws,
687
00:33:07.240 --> 00:33:09.599
had some really you know impressive runs where you get
688
00:33:09.640 --> 00:33:11.720
to show, you know, show off those wheels, but it
689
00:33:11.880 --> 00:33:15.480
wasn't against top tier defenses and talent at a consistent rate. So,
690
00:33:16.039 --> 00:33:17.720
you know, does he have the opportunity now that he
691
00:33:17.920 --> 00:33:20.759
is the guy with Steve Sarkis and now I believe
692
00:33:20.839 --> 00:33:22.720
is one of the top two or three play callers
693
00:33:22.759 --> 00:33:25.319
in America, you know, with probably a ton of talent
694
00:33:25.359 --> 00:33:26.680
around him. Yeah, he has a chance to have a
695
00:33:26.720 --> 00:33:29.680
spectActor season. But I guess I'm just in a in
696
00:33:29.759 --> 00:33:32.680
a holding pattern for at least half the season before
697
00:33:32.680 --> 00:33:36.319
I start crowning him a true Heisman contender and the
698
00:33:36.359 --> 00:33:38.000
guy that has opportunity to be there more picked the
699
00:33:38.079 --> 00:33:40.720
NFL draft. I love I love your guy. I love
700
00:33:40.799 --> 00:33:42.720
nuss Meyer. I saw a lot of good stuff. I
701
00:33:42.799 --> 00:33:46.519
know down the stretch wasn't wasn't perfect, But you're talking
702
00:33:46.519 --> 00:33:48.519
about a guy that has played a lot of football.
703
00:33:48.759 --> 00:33:51.000
You know, whether it was in Dak of duties behind Jayden.
704
00:33:51.400 --> 00:33:53.000
You know, he's been in this, you know, been been
705
00:33:53.079 --> 00:33:55.359
around there. I'm sure there's a great lead in the
706
00:33:55.400 --> 00:33:56.880
locker room. I'm sure you guys can attest to that
707
00:33:56.960 --> 00:33:59.240
more than I can. But as a ton of talent
708
00:33:59.279 --> 00:34:01.319
around him, I think make all the throws that you want.
709
00:34:01.480 --> 00:34:04.720
So I'm I know you guys, I'm not trying to
710
00:34:04.839 --> 00:34:07.079
you know, blow smoke up the LSU fans, butts or
711
00:34:07.079 --> 00:34:09.519
anything right now, but you know, I'm very bullish on
712
00:34:09.719 --> 00:34:12.480
LSU this year just in general between you know, Garrett
713
00:34:12.519 --> 00:34:14.760
and what that offense is going to be. Like I
714
00:34:14.880 --> 00:34:17.960
anticipate with Baker in the second season, the defense continues
715
00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:20.320
to move in the right direction, and I think LSU
716
00:34:20.440 --> 00:34:21.920
is kind of one of my dark horses to be
717
00:34:22.000 --> 00:34:24.760
a playoff contender and and continue to move in the
718
00:34:24.840 --> 00:34:28.199
right direction under Brian Kelly. What would talk about other quarterbacks,
719
00:34:28.559 --> 00:34:30.599
you know, Lenoris would be great. I think that the
720
00:34:30.760 --> 00:34:34.039
biggest hinderance for Leonoris and South Carolina is going to
721
00:34:34.039 --> 00:34:36.119
be the skill position. You know, that was their big
722
00:34:36.199 --> 00:34:39.639
issue last year. They had no talent around him besides
723
00:34:39.719 --> 00:34:42.400
Rocket at running back and then Trey It at the
724
00:34:42.480 --> 00:34:45.840
tight end position. So can the receivers take that step
725
00:34:45.920 --> 00:34:48.320
forward to help him, because you know, if not, he's
726
00:34:48.320 --> 00:34:49.760
gonna have to be like Cam Newton, and that's what
727
00:34:49.880 --> 00:34:52.119
he was last year. Once he started getting into his groove,
728
00:34:52.599 --> 00:34:54.800
it was like Cam Newton run the football, having to
729
00:34:54.880 --> 00:34:57.119
make all the plays. So it would be nice to
730
00:34:57.159 --> 00:34:59.719
see some pressure taken off. His is played a little
731
00:34:59.719 --> 00:35:02.760
bit at South Carolina. But the guy that I'm most
732
00:35:02.920 --> 00:35:06.079
excited about is DJ Lagway at Florida. I think DJ
733
00:35:06.280 --> 00:35:09.639
is the most gifted quarterback in America. I think he's
734
00:35:09.639 --> 00:35:11.440
got the size. I think he's got the brain. I
735
00:35:11.480 --> 00:35:13.239
think he's got the athleticism. I think he's got the
736
00:35:13.360 --> 00:35:16.639
arm strength. He checks off every single box that you want.
737
00:35:16.800 --> 00:35:20.119
So I think DJ this year, heading into the season,
738
00:35:20.719 --> 00:35:22.039
you know he's got He's got to clean up with
739
00:35:22.119 --> 00:35:23.519
some of the turnovers, and a lot of that was
740
00:35:23.559 --> 00:35:26.159
some you know, rookie freshman mistakes. But I think overall,
741
00:35:26.840 --> 00:35:29.880
you're talking about a very talented young man, uh and
742
00:35:29.960 --> 00:35:32.880
then an offense that I really like there and as
743
00:35:32.880 --> 00:35:35.039
an opportunity to have a massive second season.
744
00:35:36.800 --> 00:35:39.159
So Aaron Like, the thing that stands out to me
745
00:35:39.559 --> 00:35:44.360
is we're talking LSU South Carolina Florida. We know that
746
00:35:44.440 --> 00:35:47.519
they've got quarterbacks figured out. The thing that's going to
747
00:35:47.599 --> 00:35:53.400
be different this year. Georgia, Texas, Alabama. You can even
748
00:35:53.440 --> 00:35:56.039
throw Ole miss in Tennessee in there. Certainly Tennessee making
749
00:35:56.079 --> 00:35:58.880
the College Football Playoff a year ago, we don't know
750
00:35:58.920 --> 00:36:01.079
if they've got it figured out. And so like some
751
00:36:01.159 --> 00:36:03.239
of those teams that are, you know, trying to get
752
00:36:03.280 --> 00:36:05.840
to the level of Georgia and Alabama, they haven't figured
753
00:36:05.880 --> 00:36:07.719
out a quarterback. But the teams that were used to
754
00:36:07.719 --> 00:36:10.239
seeing at the top, like there's still question marks.
755
00:36:10.280 --> 00:36:10.400
Now.
756
00:36:10.760 --> 00:36:13.639
Gunner Stockton did some nice things in the Sugar Bowl
757
00:36:13.719 --> 00:36:16.079
and now he's going to have it be his team.
758
00:36:17.039 --> 00:36:19.760
How do you feel about Georgia and Bama and what
759
00:36:19.920 --> 00:36:21.480
their quarterback situations look like?
760
00:36:22.599 --> 00:36:25.480
You know, I think there's there's guys there that have
761
00:36:25.559 --> 00:36:28.159
obviously been in the program for a while that know
762
00:36:28.360 --> 00:36:31.039
the offense. So I think you you kind of rely
763
00:36:31.239 --> 00:36:34.159
on that and and kind of both that an experience
764
00:36:34.320 --> 00:36:36.880
and obviously some playing time both at Alabama and Georgia
765
00:36:36.920 --> 00:36:39.760
for those quarterbacks, you know, time in the system. I
766
00:36:39.800 --> 00:36:41.440
know Alabama maybe a little bit less because of the
767
00:36:41.519 --> 00:36:43.679
new regime a year ago, but you know, they've still
768
00:36:43.719 --> 00:36:46.760
been in it. Uh, you know, but for Gunner you
769
00:36:46.840 --> 00:36:49.079
said it like going back and rooting back. And watched
770
00:36:49.119 --> 00:36:50.920
all the tape from Gunner from a year ago from
771
00:36:51.320 --> 00:36:53.360
you know, mop up duty, when when they were winning
772
00:36:53.440 --> 00:36:56.559
when he came in too, you know, games against you know,
773
00:36:56.679 --> 00:37:00.880
Texas in the second half to the the sugar and
774
00:37:01.000 --> 00:37:03.320
I was really impressed with Gunner. You know, and we
775
00:37:03.480 --> 00:37:05.719
know George had a ton of problems last year. The
776
00:37:05.880 --> 00:37:09.159
running back position was not great. Uh, the receivers had
777
00:37:09.199 --> 00:37:11.480
more drops than anyone else in the history of college
778
00:37:11.519 --> 00:37:15.280
football team like and and the offensive line was very
779
00:37:15.320 --> 00:37:18.280
inconsistent with with with just a lot of guys getting hurt.
780
00:37:18.400 --> 00:37:21.039
So you know, you're hoping that you know, obviously he
781
00:37:21.079 --> 00:37:22.920
has a lot of talent. He's got the arm strengths,
782
00:37:23.000 --> 00:37:26.159
he's got the athleticism that you know, you get some
783
00:37:26.519 --> 00:37:28.480
more support around him, which I think Kirby's you know,
784
00:37:28.679 --> 00:37:30.400
done a really good job this office. He's have really
785
00:37:30.480 --> 00:37:32.920
dive into the receiving position. You know, bring in the
786
00:37:33.000 --> 00:37:35.519
five star receiver, a couple of four stars, You bring
787
00:37:35.599 --> 00:37:37.960
in the kids from USC, you bring in Noah Thomas
788
00:37:38.039 --> 00:37:40.320
from from A and m uh and really put an
789
00:37:40.320 --> 00:37:42.840
emphasis like, hey, we have to be better on the outside.
790
00:37:43.360 --> 00:37:45.440
We have to be finding ways to create exposed to play.
791
00:37:45.639 --> 00:37:47.519
So you know, you hope that the drops are kind
792
00:37:47.559 --> 00:37:49.079
of a one year thing. You hope the running back
793
00:37:49.079 --> 00:37:52.679
position could be better. So I really think it'll be fine.
794
00:37:52.719 --> 00:37:54.199
But I think the bigger point that you brought up
795
00:37:54.199 --> 00:37:56.480
too is it's interesting like all the teams that you
796
00:37:56.519 --> 00:37:59.039
would say is kind of like Tier two, you know,
797
00:37:59.119 --> 00:38:02.960
the South Carolina to Florida. You know, they have and
798
00:38:03.119 --> 00:38:04.760
I don't know if I would put LC necessarily in
799
00:38:04.800 --> 00:38:06.639
tier two, which is why I'm very bullish on L
800
00:38:06.760 --> 00:38:09.000
s u is because I kind of consider them more,
801
00:38:09.679 --> 00:38:12.000
you know, kind of in that Tier one area. But
802
00:38:12.119 --> 00:38:13.960
they had the quarterback this year, which makes me really
803
00:38:14.000 --> 00:38:17.960
excited about them. But those Tier two teams have great
804
00:38:18.039 --> 00:38:20.679
quarterback plays. I mean probably two, you know two three
805
00:38:20.719 --> 00:38:22.360
of the best quarterbacks in the country are kind of
806
00:38:22.440 --> 00:38:24.760
in that next tier in the SEC. You know, can
807
00:38:24.840 --> 00:38:28.360
that elevate those guys to be you know, playoff contenders again?
808
00:38:28.400 --> 00:38:30.920
And I and speaking of old Miss too, like I
809
00:38:31.119 --> 00:38:33.599
love Austin Simmons at all, Miss. You know what he
810
00:38:33.760 --> 00:38:36.599
did against Georgia last year in the rain, you know,
811
00:38:36.719 --> 00:38:38.599
coming in when the quarterback got hurt and he came
812
00:38:38.639 --> 00:38:40.199
in there and drove them down the down the field
813
00:38:40.199 --> 00:38:42.800
for a touchdown like that, That to me changed the
814
00:38:42.880 --> 00:38:45.639
whole trajectory of that football game. You know, Georgia could
815
00:38:45.639 --> 00:38:47.599
have gone three and out or caused the turnover and
816
00:38:48.000 --> 00:38:50.000
you know kind of maybe stolen momentum early on in
817
00:38:50.079 --> 00:38:52.960
that football game instead of you got a backup quarterback
818
00:38:53.000 --> 00:38:55.039
in March right down the field with some really impressive
819
00:38:55.119 --> 00:38:57.840
throws to type, you know, to take control of that
820
00:38:57.960 --> 00:39:00.199
that situation. So you know, I talked to i Ain't
821
00:39:00.239 --> 00:39:01.920
last year in a couple of games. I had really
822
00:39:02.000 --> 00:39:04.599
excited about what he can do. So, yeah, there's a
823
00:39:04.639 --> 00:39:06.639
lot of question marks with some of the big boys
824
00:39:06.800 --> 00:39:09.199
with the quarterback. You know, they're all a bunch of
825
00:39:09.199 --> 00:39:10.679
four and five star guys like I said, that have
826
00:39:10.760 --> 00:39:12.239
been there, so you hope that they're ready to go.
827
00:39:12.920 --> 00:39:15.039
But yeah, the best quarterbacks in this league are kind
828
00:39:15.039 --> 00:39:15.719
of once again.
829
00:39:15.559 --> 00:39:18.119
In that year too, and some of the I'm kind
830
00:39:18.159 --> 00:39:22.199
of like a dark horse for me, and a lot
831
00:39:22.239 --> 00:39:24.599
of people in the SEC don't really know much about him.
832
00:39:24.679 --> 00:39:28.920
But John Mattier Oklahoma. Yeah, now, last year nearly thirty
833
00:39:28.920 --> 00:39:31.159
two hundred yards passing, over eight hundred yards rushing, and
834
00:39:31.159 --> 00:39:34.639
almost forty five total touchdowns produced last year. Are we
835
00:39:34.760 --> 00:39:36.400
not talking enough about him?
836
00:39:38.000 --> 00:39:40.840
Well, my big thing was with Oklahoma's I thought they
837
00:39:40.880 --> 00:39:45.159
had good quarterbacks last year, to be honest, and the
838
00:39:45.599 --> 00:39:49.559
situation around those quarterbacks was just got awful. The receivers
839
00:39:49.639 --> 00:39:51.639
being out. I mean what top six receivers were out.
840
00:39:51.719 --> 00:39:54.400
The offensive line was brand new, those guys didn't play well.
841
00:39:54.880 --> 00:39:58.679
Running back position was inconsistent. So like you know, listen,
842
00:39:59.559 --> 00:40:01.679
unless you're Cam Newton and you can literally put the
843
00:40:01.719 --> 00:40:04.119
team on your back, you need some support. You know,
844
00:40:04.239 --> 00:40:06.239
you need some running back plays, You need some receivers
845
00:40:06.280 --> 00:40:09.480
to create some explosive plays, and Oklahoma didn't have that. So,
846
00:40:09.920 --> 00:40:11.960
you know, do I think materiers may be an upgrade
847
00:40:11.960 --> 00:40:14.360
from what they had a year ago? You know, possibly,
848
00:40:15.000 --> 00:40:18.320
But it's it's to me, it's less about the quarterbacks
849
00:40:18.320 --> 00:40:20.599
for Oklahoma and it's more about the guy he's around him.
850
00:40:20.679 --> 00:40:23.440
He needs some support. They have to be better at
851
00:40:23.480 --> 00:40:25.760
offensive line, they have to be better at the skill position,
852
00:40:25.840 --> 00:40:27.480
they have to be better at the running back position.
853
00:40:27.639 --> 00:40:30.719
So you know, if those things are taken care of,
854
00:40:30.880 --> 00:40:33.199
then I'm with you, Like you know, you go back
855
00:40:33.239 --> 00:40:35.880
and just watch, just google or not go YouTube his
856
00:40:36.039 --> 00:40:39.039
highlight film and it's unbelievable the place he's making. He's
857
00:40:39.119 --> 00:40:42.400
got the arm, the athleticisms, flew the roof. So he's
858
00:40:42.440 --> 00:40:45.480
a he's a He's a terrific college quarterback. He's an opportunity,
859
00:40:45.480 --> 00:40:48.960
I think, to be a top three round NFL quarterback.
860
00:40:49.400 --> 00:40:51.039
But he can't do that if he's on his back.
861
00:40:51.079 --> 00:40:53.360
He can't do it. If guys can't get open. So
862
00:40:53.800 --> 00:40:56.079
Oklahoma is I think, like I said, bigger fish to
863
00:40:56.159 --> 00:40:57.960
fry and bigger things that they need you to figure
864
00:40:58.000 --> 00:41:00.639
out this off season besides just the quarterback.
865
00:41:02.239 --> 00:41:03.159
All right, there is our.
866
00:41:03.079 --> 00:41:07.039
Guy, Aaron Murray, former UGA quarterback, ESP and serious XM.
867
00:41:07.320 --> 00:41:07.599
Aaron.
868
00:41:07.679 --> 00:41:10.440
We appreciate the time, sir, and hopefully we'll run into
869
00:41:10.519 --> 00:41:13.480
you because we're making Flynn do the whole dog and
870
00:41:13.559 --> 00:41:15.079
pony show at media days.
871
00:41:16.639 --> 00:41:18.360
Hey, real quick, what's the golf handicap?
872
00:41:18.400 --> 00:41:22.199
App the golf is? I want to say eight four
873
00:41:22.559 --> 00:41:25.960
go single digits, So hey play if you if you
874
00:41:26.199 --> 00:41:28.039
I don't know if hessons golf for if you are,
875
00:41:28.119 --> 00:41:29.960
if you want to get a little rounded in Atlanta.
876
00:41:30.079 --> 00:41:30.400
Let me know.
877
00:41:31.280 --> 00:41:33.239
Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do that. I'd much rather do
878
00:41:33.360 --> 00:41:35.199
that than you know, make the rounds. So let's go.
879
00:41:37.400 --> 00:41:38.559
We can speak out for a little bit.
880
00:41:38.840 --> 00:41:39.920
Perfect appreciate it, Aaron.
881
00:41:40.559 --> 00:41:42.960
See, boys have a great fourth you as well.
882
00:41:44.360 --> 00:41:45.079
Yeah, I'm not golf.
883
00:41:45.960 --> 00:41:50.079
Come on, bro, come on, come ride, I can, I'll drive,
884
00:41:50.920 --> 00:41:52.639
I'll drive on and just make fun of you all
885
00:41:52.679 --> 00:41:53.159
the whole time.
886
00:41:53.920 --> 00:41:56.599
Eight four? What the hell does that mean? Eight point four?
887
00:41:56.800 --> 00:41:57.320
What's that mean?
888
00:41:57.559 --> 00:42:00.599
Depending on the slope right of the course and the
889
00:42:00.679 --> 00:42:03.639
layman serves it. Basically, you you're kind of averaging eight
890
00:42:03.679 --> 00:42:07.039
point four shots above par every time you play. There's
891
00:42:07.079 --> 00:42:09.119
a lot of different stipulations to that, but there you go.
892
00:42:10.360 --> 00:42:13.480
That's what you quarterbacks ask each other, you know, wes.
893
00:42:13.559 --> 00:42:16.960
Fullbacks ask each other like how many times did you
894
00:42:17.000 --> 00:42:19.199
bang your head against the wall last night? What your benching?
895
00:42:20.159 --> 00:42:22.440
What you benson? That's what we ask each other.
896
00:42:23.119 --> 00:42:27.119
Okay, how many ibiprofens you take today for those headaches? Four?
897
00:42:27.800 --> 00:42:30.639
There you go, closing out that our number one when
898
00:42:30.679 --> 00:42:36.400

Certified, banger certified. Yeah, good party song, USA, get everybody
929
00:44:38.320 --> 00:44:41.199
together state. It's one of those ones where like, of course,
930
00:44:41.480 --> 00:44:43.519
you know, me and Flanner slappies, we'll start singing that
931
00:44:43.599 --> 00:44:45.119
thing and you beat a group with a bunch of
932
00:44:45.239 --> 00:44:49.159
like hard dude, yeah yeah, and then they're like, oh,
933
00:44:49.199 --> 00:44:50.159
this is kind of a bop.
934
00:44:50.239 --> 00:44:52.159
You see their foot moving a little bit, like yeah,
935
00:44:52.360 --> 00:44:53.480
So it starts out it's like that.
936
00:44:53.519 --> 00:44:55.360
It starts with like the banker, like.
937
00:44:55.440 --> 00:45:00.760
The two inches away, you see people swam. They sub consciously,
938
00:45:01.239 --> 00:45:02.440
they're subconsciously feeling it.
939
00:45:02.920 --> 00:45:05.079
Yeah. Then you see that I think.
940
00:45:05.159 --> 00:45:08.079
He started to bend a little bit, head bopping.
941
00:45:09.280 --> 00:45:11.760
And somebody's got to break the ice. Yeah, some hard
942
00:45:11.800 --> 00:45:16.679
ass has to break the ice, right. Yeah. Usually when
943
00:45:16.719 --> 00:45:19.280
the chorus is I love the people that are like
944
00:45:19.840 --> 00:45:20.880
this song is early.
945
00:45:21.400 --> 00:45:25.440
Yeah, there's nothing less masculine than think it sounds like
946
00:45:25.480 --> 00:45:26.280
this are girly.
947
00:45:26.199 --> 00:45:26.920
Fair yeah fair.
948
00:45:28.400 --> 00:45:31.320
We do have Jay Johnson finally joining us at eight
949
00:45:31.480 --> 00:45:35.800
thirty today. All last week he's like, hey, yeah, let's
950
00:45:35.840 --> 00:45:36.880
do this, do it. And then I'd be like, hey
951
00:45:36.920 --> 00:45:40.280
what about today recruiting, Hey what about that recruiting. That
952
00:45:40.440 --> 00:45:43.679
man stays recruiting, stays recruit I.
953
00:45:43.639 --> 00:45:45.760
Don't think he was on the beach somewhere celebrating with
954
00:45:45.840 --> 00:45:46.360
that trophy.
955
00:45:46.800 --> 00:45:47.400
Literally was not.
956
00:45:47.639 --> 00:45:49.480
I hadn't seen that trophy since that night.
957
00:45:49.960 --> 00:45:53.079
I'm probably not so excited to catch up with him
958
00:45:53.320 --> 00:45:56.760
when we come back. In our number two. There is
959
