معلومات عن هذه الحلقة
We had an absolute blast with this one. On Going Back to Smallville, our Smallville rewatch podcast and series retrospective, we’re revisiting Season 9, Episode 12, “Warrior,” a wonderfully comic-booky episode packed with superhero wish fulfillment, magic, and some very Shazam-inspired energy. We talk about Alec becoming the living version of Warrior Angel, Lois absolutely owning WonderCon in her Amazon princess costume, and why this episode feels like Smallville giving itself permission to just have fun. But the real highlight for us is Clark and Zatanna. Their chemistry is fantastic, Zatanna tempting Clark to embrace a little fantasy is a great character beat, and Clark breaking through her spell because his feelings for Lois are stronger makes the whole thing even better. Add in Chloe getting swept up in her own superhero fantasy and plenty of DC Comics goodness, and “Warrior” ended up being one of the most purely enjoyable episodes we’ve had in a while.

About Going Back to Smallville
Going Back to Smallville is our episode-by-episode rewatch of Smallville, following Clark Kent from the pilot all the way through the series finale.
Each week, Matt and Maggie revisit the story, rank the Freak of the Week, dig into continuity, DC Comics references and Easter eggs, and track Clark’s journey toward becoming Superman — with plenty of nostalgia, laughs, tangents, and wonderfully early-2000s weirdness along the way.
Whether you grew up watching Smallville, discovered it later, or just love Superman and DC Comics, come go back to Smallville with us — one episode at a time.
Going Back to Smallville is part of Hopefully Awesome, where we keep things positive, have fun, and geek out over the stuff we love.
