Hi Happy Mathers, Dr Nicki is back with a brand new podcast where she dives into subtizing. This is the ability to tell the number of objects in a set, quickly, without counting. The ability to subitize is an important part of developing a strong mathematical foundation and understanding of number Playing with dice, dominoes, and asking children to find a specific number of items will help them develop subitizing skills and a sense of quantity.
