00:00:06.190 --> 00:00:09.390
Good morning and welcome to the pull list from Epic Panels Comics.
00:00:09.550 --> 00:00:12.669
It's Monday, October 19th, 2026.
00:00:13.470 --> 00:00:18.350
So let's start where we always do, with this day in comic history.
00:00:18.670 --> 00:00:24.109
On this date in 1976, according to Marvel.com, Jack Kirby's Black Panther No.
00:00:24.269 --> 00:00:25.070
1 arrived.
00:00:25.230 --> 00:00:28.190
That gave T'Challa his first ongoing series.
00:00:28.429 --> 00:00:33.310
The cover date says January 1977, but the book landed in October.
00:00:33.549 --> 00:00:35.950
Now, jump ahead to 1982.
00:00:36.269 --> 00:00:37.229
Iron Man No.
00:00:37.390 --> 00:00:45.710
166 brought the first full appearance of Obadiah Stane, a rival who grew into one of Iron Man's defining villains.
00:00:46.030 --> 00:00:50.509
Two very different books, both still matter to collectors.
00:00:50.829 --> 00:00:52.590
So what's happening this week?
00:00:52.829 --> 00:00:58.030
Wednesday is New Comics Day, and the big event is the finale of Avengers Armageddon.
00:00:58.189 --> 00:01:01.710
According to Comic Shop Locator, issue five wraps the story.
00:01:01.950 --> 00:01:06.509
Chip Zadarski writes it with art by Delio Diaz and Frank Alpazar.
00:01:06.829 --> 00:01:08.109
Here's the setup.
00:01:08.349 --> 00:01:14.430
The public has turned on superheroes, and a character named David Colton sits at the center of the fight.
00:01:14.670 --> 00:01:20.909
The same report says a new Avengers number one by Zadarski and artist Marco Cicchetto comes next.
00:01:21.150 --> 00:01:29.230
And AIPT reports a one-shot called Immortal Soldiers is set for January, taking place after the event.
00:01:29.710 --> 00:01:33.710
The other big pull on the chart is DC's Absolute Green Arrow No.
00:01:33.870 --> 00:01:34.349
6.
00:01:34.510 --> 00:01:38.989
It tops the League of Comic Geeks pull list this week, according to Comic Shop Locator.
00:01:39.150 --> 00:01:48.109
And according to DC, Pornsac Pichashode and Raphael Albuquerque close out this arc and reveal the identity of the Green Arrow Killer.
00:01:48.510 --> 00:01:53.230
Now, one note that chart measures reader interest, not sales.
00:01:54.189 --> 00:02:04.430
Rounding out our Wednesday top five, Punisher Showdowns, Black Widow number one, Uncanny X-Men number 37, and Nightwing number 143.
00:02:05.150 --> 00:02:06.989
Let's get into the industry buzz.
00:02:07.070 --> 00:02:08.750
What did the announcements say?
00:02:09.150 --> 00:02:15.550
According to the Beat, DC announced Absolute Justice, a five-issue event for April 2027.
00:02:15.789 --> 00:02:21.789
Jason Aaron writes, Juan Ferreira draws, and it won't interrupt the ongoing Absolute books.
00:02:22.270 --> 00:02:31.949
Over at Marvel, AIPT reports Magneto End of Days arrives in February, an eight-issue series from Brian Michael Bendis and Andrea Sorrino.
00:02:32.590 --> 00:02:44.509
Comic-Con.com reports a new line called Skybound Visions from Image, Skybound, Hasbro, and Universal, kicking off with a Transformers Bumblebee miniseries in late January.
00:02:44.990 --> 00:02:52.750
And the beat says DC Black Label is adding Zatana, Poison Ivy, and OMAC one-shots for next summer.
00:02:53.469 --> 00:02:55.469
Now, first issues to watch.
00:02:55.789 --> 00:03:04.189
Marvel's Midnight Spider-Man number one is a body horror take on Spider-Man's origin from Philip Kennedy Johnson and artist Cytronk.
00:03:04.349 --> 00:03:08.189
It came out October 7th as part of the Midnight Universe launch.
00:03:08.349 --> 00:03:16.669
And this Wednesday, Bleeding Cool says Tom Waltz and Greg Land open Punisher Showdown's Black Widow with a Las Vegas team up.
00:03:16.990 --> 00:03:20.669
If you like street level crossovers, that one is for you.
00:03:21.310 --> 00:03:22.270
Spec Corner.
00:03:22.590 --> 00:03:27.789
Launch issues from a new imprint tend to hold collector attention, so keep an eye on Midnight No.
00:03:27.949 --> 00:03:31.069
2, dated November 18th, according to Popverse.
00:03:31.469 --> 00:03:37.229
Just remember, speculation is never a guarantee, so buy what you want to read.
00:03:37.710 --> 00:03:38.830
Rumor Mill.
00:03:39.069 --> 00:03:43.229
Nothing new cleared our bar today, so we'll keep it clean and skip it.
00:03:43.550 --> 00:03:54.189
In print and collections this week, you'll find Marvel's Blade Epic Collection Volume 1, Ghost Rider Epic Collection Volume 4, and Venom Epic Collection Volume 8.
00:03:54.430 --> 00:04:00.830
