What if creating a better future starts with something as simple as a conversation?
In this solo episode of Conversations with Agents of Change, I reflect on my experience at the Sustain X Leadership Summit 2026, held at ICC Belfast.
After a day of thought-provoking talks, inspiring encounters and meaningful conversations, I came home with more questions than answers — and perhaps that's exactly what makes events like this so valuable.
Drawing on insights from Mike Berners-Lee, Dr Lollie Mancey, Richard Shotton, Kingsley Aikins CBE and Clover Hogan, I explore the connections between climate leadership, artificial intelligence, human behaviour, collaboration and hope.
We talk about why technology should serve humanity, why facing uncomfortable truths is essential for progress, why knowing what to do doesn't always translate into action, and how authentic relationships can create unexpected opportunities for change.
I also share my reflections on using AI, working in sustainability and meeting fascinating people whose ideas and experiences reminded me why I love hosting this podcast.
A special thank you to Jacqueline Gibson for inviting me to join the International Synergies table, and to everyone who made the day so enjoyable.
