00:01:39

Speaker 2: Celsius. Sponsor Carter, please again, Sponsor us again? Okay, question are you Carter today?
00:01:55
Speaker 1: I think, oh, you know, I think today we can be a mix of both, you know what I mean. We've got car and.
00:02:00
Speaker 3: We've got I think there's going to be points in our questions where you're going to be really Carter, and points in our questions and people will be able to tell Do you want to tell everyone how Cardetta please?
00:02:12
Speaker 2: Started?
00:02:12
Speaker 1: It started? Okay, so it started. It started when we were in the car. Honestly, Vic, we all make content together all the time. But for some reason, Vic was filming something and we were doing a TikTok and she started speaking in Spanish and I had no idea what she was saying, and she said, blah blah blah, Carter, your Carter, your Beacha, and I'm like, no, there's no beachita over here. Cardea is not beach Cata. I just put an a at the end of my name. I didn't know that carthetta translates to purse. Yes, And so all the comments were like, he has no idea that he's calling himself a purse, and then all the little perse emojis and then it just stuck, and I was like, wait, I love this, I am. It's kind of fitting because like gay, little fruity like purse. It's perfect for me. You need a little purse, you need a little perst. I love the little pink one you.
00:03:08
Speaker 3: Need, like the coin, the way even that he holds it, it's like his dainty little hand like purse. I didn't know part that I meant person until we did that videos.
00:03:22
Speaker 1: Light Can we insert that video Gray Speach? You days in CBS, You guys.
00:03:48
Speaker 2: Like, what where is the recommenting purse?
00:03:51
Speaker 1: So why did we even put the camera up in there? What were we filming? It was your TikTok was yeah yeah and it looked ratchet. Yeah.
00:03:58
Speaker 2: People like that A like questions that the fans really Yeah, so we're gonna go one on.
00:04:06
Speaker 3: We're pouring it, Okay, So he's like a cocky little bug, so you're gonna see it through. He's in one of those moods where he's like, you guys are that I'm sitting here.
00:04:17
Speaker 1: No, I never said do not listen to them. I've never said that. I'm so happy and grateful and blessed.
00:04:23
Speaker 2: Look at us. We can look at us.
00:04:25
Speaker 1: I just want them to know how great.
00:04:27
Speaker 2: About we're not.
00:04:30
Speaker 1: So I've gotten my soul camera.
00:04:34
Speaker 2: Okay, gonna start.
00:04:35
Speaker 3: Okay, is there a song that reminds you of me? And then one of Vic?
00:04:39
Speaker 1: Okay? Perfect? My song that reminds me of STOs immediately is happier than ever, But specifically in December, that night that we went out to whose house were? We at an Ashley Benson's house after party and we were playing and it was just me and you and we were playing it on and it was like two weeks before Christmas. And I don't know why it sticks with me so much, but we've always loved that song, but that particularly on repeat on repeat, and I think we honestly like cried a little bit happier than ever a song that reminds me of Vic. I mean, I feel like this is like kind of cheesy, but it means so much.
00:05:22
Speaker 2: But Vaneka, I mean, I you were going to say that I was singing it in my head.
00:05:34
Speaker 1: I mean, how can we not. We made up a dance to that song. That song was like we were in the music video. We went on stage at Coach it was like it was at moment.
00:05:47
Speaker 2: Okay, answer, okay, But what is your ethnicity?
00:05:55
Speaker 1: It's one of the questions black.
00:06:01
Speaker 4: People might think you're like, you could be like Venezuela, really part of the Latin community, truly.
00:06:13
Speaker 1: So we found out that if I was Venezuelan, they said I'd be from But if I was Colombian, they told me. They told me I'd be from Cartagana.
00:06:23
Speaker 2: Okay, okay, but what are you actually black? He's from North Carolina unfortunately.
00:06:32
Speaker 1: But I've never done the have you guys done twenty three? I've never done it. I need to, like, I want to know my lineage, but I feel like it's going to be like slavery. You know what, it's the bitter truth, and that's on American history.
00:06:47
Speaker 2: Who's your favorite Venezuelan artist?
00:06:49
Speaker 1: Oh, my favorite Venezuelan artist probably probably Yeah.
00:06:55
Speaker 2: You know they're coming here.
00:06:57

00:07:12
Speaker 3: Ye?
00:07:12
Speaker 1: Great, But we don't make.
00:07:14
Speaker 2: This sound effect.
00:07:16
Speaker 3: We gotta start adding that in do it really smooth? For the things that we can keep it now every time, it's.
00:07:23
Speaker 1: Gonna be Wait, I love this. This is fun more.
00:07:27
Speaker 2: Okay, who's your hear me out crush?
00:07:31
Speaker 1: Like I've got so many where you guys are like huh okay, okay, okay, Tom Hollands, not hear me out.
00:07:39
Speaker 2: For me, hear me out.
00:07:43
Speaker 1: It's not face I know for me to Oh my god, I think he's just like the cutest ever I think. I mean, I think.
00:07:53
Speaker 2: He's not attractive.
00:07:54
Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I mean he's he's not like, oh to me, he's sorry and move with a girl. I know y'all just got married. But the Latin there, you can't put that in there.
00:08:05
Speaker 2: It's funny. You're kidding up.
00:08:08
Speaker 1: Kidding, but am I okay, Wait, who's a hear me out?
00:08:13

00:08:20
Speaker 2: Any Why boy, you show me on Instagram what I'm saying.
00:08:22
Speaker 1: But those aren't like not something that people know. Who's the guy who plays Baine and Dark Knight Rises, he's also Inception. You're looking at me, you know actors Tom Hardy, right, he's not hearing me out. I don't think I have like hear me out.
00:08:47
Speaker 2: I like pretty hot Bane.
00:08:49
Speaker 1: He's Bane, Pam. Sorry, I don't know how amazing of an actor that you didn't even want.
00:08:57
Speaker 2: I know I need to watch it immediately because you know he's.
00:09:00
Speaker 1: In the Christopher Nolan world like Inception.
00:09:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my god, I do not know Tom hard was baying.
00:09:05
Speaker 1: I know, but you know who's another one? But this is not hear me out, but like my number one Jake Jillenhall, not to hear me out, just like what was the movie we were just watching at Coachella where we walked in and Donnie and Kylie were like.
00:09:19
Speaker 2: Spider something big Spider. He's fine as hell, that man. We need the workout routine. Tell us you.
00:09:28
Speaker 1: Guys, workout routine. Go to Kevin. I don't like have a.
00:09:34
Speaker 2: Routine, Like do you hit like you don't have like a split?
00:09:37
Speaker 1: No, you just do whatever I do every day. I do whatever I do, like I like to run or walk in the TREADI for thirty minutes every day every day, and even if I don't, if I'm not lifting, I will do some cardio for sure. But I've been slacking a little bit since Coachella and that's why my size are a little chubby as usual. And besides that, I was zim pick.
00:10:07
Speaker 2: The fans want to know if you would ever consider flogging.
00:10:11
Speaker 1: We've been talking about this. I just like, I love being in your guys's blogs. I never watched them, but I love being in your blogs because I feel like you guys are so good at it, and I just don't think that I would be. I would forget, I would not think about it.
00:10:27
Speaker 2: I forget.
00:10:28
Speaker 3: But Instagram it's a lot, a lot, it's a lot.
00:10:34
Speaker 2: But you guys maybe give it a chance one day.
00:10:35
Speaker 1: And but I like, you guys are so cute with your like that question. We're in the house today and I'm gonna cook this or I'm gonna like make this room look cute, or I'm gonna do my makeup like it's stuff that like people are like, that's you know, he doesn't watch where you're gonna cook? You cook on your blog. Yeah, okay, well you guys do makeup.
00:10:55
Speaker 2: People wouldn't watch you for that, they would watch it for your music stuff. Yeah, in the scene. You don't have to be a bigger out of you. I think I did take the gum out of your mouth.
00:11:06
Speaker 1: So what I consider vlogging? You know, I would consider it, but I just don't know if i'd be the best blogger. But we'll see. I also feel like we're all together so much, so I'm like, what you guys are seeing on there is you're probably gonna see.
00:11:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's also what I was telling you. That's not fully true. It's like we do like big events and weekends and stuff like that together, but your daily life, like I don't I don't really see Sunday through Friday.
00:11:29
Speaker 2: It's very Monday through Thursday or Sunday through Thursday.
00:11:31
Speaker 1: I guess meeting, but I guess for I think that stuff is kind of boring, But maybe people would really be interested.
00:11:37
Speaker 3: I'm interested in it, like I would be interested in watching like you having meetings and you going to That's why I told you. I was like, I think it would be really fun. I would watch it, but I also like watch everything.
00:11:47
Speaker 1: That everyone does.
00:11:48
Speaker 3: The card doesn't watch our blogs, and I'm like, I sit there like there's not a blog big the biggest posta that I haven't seen.
00:11:54
Speaker 1: You guys, I don't watch their blogs, not because of them, Like.
00:11:56
Speaker 2: I watch there.
00:11:58
Speaker 3: When you watch me talk on TikTok to, you watch the video like I've watched yourleg I watched, I watch.
00:12:04
Speaker 1: I watch everything you guys put whenever it pops up on TikTok. I always watched that, of course, because it's quick.
00:12:10
Speaker 2: Right. What's your favorite Beyonce album right now?
00:12:14
Speaker 1: Wow? Right now, Cowboy Carter, I'm in a very cowboy Carder mood. But of all time is Beyonce self Titled? Because that was right when I came out of the closet December thirteenth, twenty thirteen, and I it changed my life.
00:12:30
Speaker 2: Wow, change my life?
00:12:31
Speaker 1: Like had we known each other in that time when Drunken Love first came out? Look how much I played Drunken still to this day, thirteen years later. Could you imagine how much thirteen years ago? Could you imagine how much will be thirteen years in December? But could you imagine how much I played it back then.
00:12:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy because all you played.
00:12:49
Speaker 1: It's all I played. You know. It's also crazy. The day it came out, my grandpa passed away, like the day that album Surprise dropped, and like we were I was like, wait, my mom, we were like with my grandpa and he passed away, and I.
00:13:06
Speaker 2: Like, you played drunk in Love.
00:13:09
Speaker 1: I like didn't cry.
00:13:11
Speaker 2: Because you were so coppy about Beyond this album. Oh well, you were just a kid.
00:13:18
Speaker 1: I I mean, I know, I mean I was twenty years old, nineteen whatever, but I was just really happy that the album came out. And so I was like consoling my mom and I was like, it was it was all music videos. The whole album was music. Was hugging my mom behind her.
00:13:38
Speaker 3: Like shut up hard and crazy horse and you're like Carter mind blow her.
00:13:45
Speaker 1: Mom is like so I know that was crazy. Wow.
00:13:47
Speaker 2: I did not know that.
00:13:48
Speaker 1: Yeah. Anyways, love you Beyonce.
00:13:51
Speaker 3: Oh recently we're just with Beyonce. I do you want to tell the viewers about that experience for you and your times meeting her?
00:13:57
Speaker 1: Wow? I love that you said times plural. While I was there for that one time you were and that was the second time. That was the second time, and then I just met her again.
00:14:06
Speaker 2: For a third time and she remembered you.
00:14:08
Speaker 1: She did, she did. I mean, what a sweet, incredible, magnificent, perfect human being. I just like, I think to be at that level of artistry and still just be the most humble, down to earth normal inviting warm presence is like a gift from God, because I mean it's like everyone we saw the Mecal, like every it's like so much pressure.
00:14:35
Speaker 2: When you think about its going.
00:14:37
Speaker 1: On, so much going on, so flustered. I mean, like and she just like deals with everything with such grace and poise and like having her family there. I just like, I'm in awe of her. But I always have been since I was like five years old.
00:14:49
Speaker 3: I mean.
00:14:51
Speaker 2: When you met her for the first time, that behind the scenes.
00:14:55
Speaker 1: At the birthday on her birthday, so this was September fourth, where her birthday September fourth, nineteen eighty one. But we were at the Renaissance tour me you kylie can it was all of us, Yes, we went at Tom. That's when I met Tom. That was when I met Tom Holland too. Wow, this night actually was I met I met like my favorite artists of all time and my future you know who?
00:15:19
Speaker 2: I met Meredith Gray and that so freaked me out.
00:15:24
Speaker 1: I'm like, Vic was there for the moment. You and Haley were there, Yes, and.
00:15:29
Speaker 2: We pushed you to yes too great.
00:15:31
Speaker 1: Yes, But Kai teed it up because she was like, b this is my friend Carter. He knows all the choreo. She's the reason that I fell in love with music, and so she just means so much to me and the reason I work in music, all that stuff that we know. Yeah, so that was incredible first meeting.
00:15:47
Speaker 2: Wait didn't you also meet her at Chris's birthday party or something?
00:15:50
Speaker 1: That was the night that I told her that two Hands to Heaven is my favorite song of all time and I'm gonna get married to that song. And I was like, it is the most incredibly well written, most magnificant song of all.
00:16:01
Speaker 2: Did she write that one?
00:16:02
Speaker 1: She wrote that one?
00:16:03
Speaker 2: She wrote it.
00:16:04
Speaker 1: Yeah with also you know who Ryan Beatty?
00:16:06
Speaker 2: Wow?
00:16:07
Speaker 1: Yeah? How cool?
00:16:08
Speaker 2: How does it feel to be like recognized in the music industry?
00:16:11
Speaker 1: I just I look around sometimes and we're in when we're in like environments like that, and for me, I'm like, wow, small town, gay little Carter from North Carolina, and I'm now in this type of room with these people that I've respected for so long and looked up to and been inspired by, and especially like two incredible black musicians like that, it's pretty surreal. Like I actually had a moment. Be and Jay were just standing right there and everyone's just vibing, and I had a moment and I was just like, this is like if you would have told me.
00:16:44
Speaker 2: This, you wouldn't have believed it.
00:16:45
Speaker 1: And I almost got emotional in that moment, and I was like, all right, pull it together, Carter, take a shot tequila, Calm down, relax. But like it was just it's such as such a powerful moment because I've just like looked up to them my whole life.
00:16:57
Speaker 2: Well, I mean it's such a tread. Sometimes it's like it's like yeah.
00:17:01
Speaker 1: Wow, and that stuff is never like lost on me, like always like wow, Wow, I'm super grateful to be here.
00:17:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, we've made it far.
00:17:10
Speaker 1: Can you tell them please, the story of when you tricked me at Coachella and you told me you were gonna text her and I, oh my god, you guys, this was years ago.
00:17:18
Speaker 3: Okay, so we're at Coachella and we're like in the car. Beyonce was having a party with Adidas, and Carter wanted to go so badly, and we were sitting in the car and we were like texting our team like can we get in through Adidas?
00:17:31
Speaker 2: Like what can we do?
00:17:32
Speaker 3: Carter needs to go to this Beyonce party, and I just remember everyone was like exhausting all their avenues of trying to get there. And I quickly was like, should I just text her and see if she can add us to the list?
00:17:43
Speaker 1: Mind? You guys, Stoss has She's got contacts, you know, her phone, the Rolodex. So in my mind, I'm like I believe her. Yeah, Like, oh my god, she has Be's number?
00:17:55
Speaker 2: Believes me?
00:17:55
Speaker 3: And I go on like I was extras sing for so long, and he was like, holy fuck, Sauce, you have her number?
00:18:03
Speaker 2: What the fuck You're gonna text her? Text or please text her right now? And I was just going on with it, and then I finally was like, I don't fucking have Beyonce's number. What are you talking about?
00:18:13
Speaker 1: I don't know her, boy, this is mean. And then we didn't go to the party.
00:18:18
Speaker 2: We didn't get a party. We couldn't find away.
00:18:22
Speaker 3: In back to your early life, you mentioned growing up in North Carolina. So do you want to tell everyone what it was like growing up in North Carolina?
00:18:31
Speaker 1: Wow? I was thinking about because my mom was there this weekend for my grandma's eightieth and I was like on the phone with my mom and I'm like, what's it like? And she was like, I haven't been back in like four years, and she was like, well, they've built so much, Like it's like very different now, and just made me feel so nostalgic. I loved my upbringing so much, I really did. It was I'm from Carrie, North Carolina. It was pretty small town, suburban upbringing, but I had such a strong group of friends from elementary school to middle school to high school and even in college. But looking back, there's so many things that I didn't register as a kid, like the level of racism that was very prominent in my everyday life that I don't think I understood, and like the the little microaggressions and it's stuff that like never happens here in LA like which is so interesting, like living in this bubble now, because then I'm like, wow, this is so different from my life growing up, because I'd be at my friend's house and most of my friends were white, like we were. We were one of like three black families in like our entire like community, and I'd be over at a friend's house and I remember one time my friend's mom was like, Oh, we love you, Carter. You're such a normal black boy, Like you don't talk like the other black kids, Like you're such a normal black boy. And I would take that, and I would I wouldn't think that that.
00:19:55
Speaker 3: Was like Oh.
00:19:57
Speaker 1: As I have grown up, I'm like, what the fuck was that?
00:20:01
Speaker 2: Like that's it's crazy.
00:20:04
Speaker 1: Or like my friends would be like, oh we love that Carter. Carter, you talk so white, and I'm like, what is talking white? I'm gonna be married to a man, hopefully someday, and I want to have I want to have kids, and like, I don't want to raise them in an environment where my kids would have to go to school and be made fun of because they've got two dads, or be made fun of because their dad is potentially in an interracial relationship or they want to be an interrace relationship, or I've got mixed kids, like you know what, whatever it may be, and maybe things are different now, obviously, like as time progress, but there were certain things that were tough, and that's why I also did not come out in high school. There was one openly gay kid in my high school, and no one talked to him. No one talked to him. No, I was too scared. I was. I was never mean to I never bullied anyone. It was never mean to him, but I I just never see.
00:20:56
Speaker 3: Because of the way that he was treated maybe made you feel like you were scared to talk to him and you didn't want to be treated like that.
00:21:02
Speaker 1: Yes, and I knew I was gay with I knew I was gay from a very young age. I knew I was gay when I was like six. Yeah, I'll never forget. I had a crush on this boy Greg, and I was just like, oh my god, I love this boy. And then I hooked up with my first guy for real when I was like fourteen. But I would look in the mirror and say to myself, one day you're going to have to come out, but that day is not going to be today.
00:21:31
Speaker 2: How long? For so long? How long?
00:21:34
Speaker 1: Like? And it would be I like, because you came I came out at nineteen, and.
00:21:39
Speaker 2: This was what I was six years old when you were saying that.
00:21:41
Speaker 1: No, I was probably saying it at like twelve, but like when I like really understood like what being gay was. But like that level of anxiety that so many people who are in the LGBTQ plus community have experience, but like of knowing damn you're going to have to confront this at some point in your life is so scary, And to think back to it, I'm like, I was so scared, and that's why.
00:22:06
Speaker 2: I dated Claire Claire.
00:22:10
Speaker 1: That's why I had a girlfriend for a minute, because I just like I was like I have to put on this facade. Yeah, and then I was like I have to hook up with girls so that all my like straight guy friends like feel like I'm part of the whatever, this camaraderie, the brotherhood.
00:22:25
Speaker 2: You still have like friends from that time that you talked to that were straight.
00:22:30
Speaker 1: That are straight? Yeah, some of them? And they yeah?
00:22:33
Speaker 2: Were Were they ever? Like I knew it? Bro?
00:22:35
Speaker 1: Yes? Oh really, yes, I think everybody should.
00:22:38
Speaker 2: The fuck I mean, your mad episode, I would have known.
00:22:41
Speaker 1: I don't think there's like a soul besides my dad, there's a soul that's like, Wow, he's been dancing to Beyoncecorio like it's pretty in front of Youah, But yeah, it was crazy because I was hooking up with this guy in high school. He was a sophomore. I was a freshman. We were hooking up all through high school.
00:23:01
Speaker 3: Is this the like story where you guys would have sleepovers and like, yes, yeah, but were you dating Claire while you were experimenting with him?
00:23:11
Speaker 1: Yes? Okay, so which obviously do not condone anyone whatsoever. But I was a fourteen year old boy just trying to figure out my life. Of course, of course, but he had a girlfriend too, the other guy. Wow, yeah, pretty crazy, pretty crazy growing up in the South.
00:23:29
Speaker 2: We need to go well, I would say, let's go back. I would love to meet in North Carolina.
00:23:34
Speaker 1: Have you ever been You have been? Yes, you have when you were on tours? Yes, yeah, years ago.
00:23:39
Speaker 2: I only saw a little bit of grass, that's all.
00:23:41
Speaker 1: It is great.
00:23:42
Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever been to North Carolina.
00:23:44
Speaker 1: What would we do then?
00:23:45
Speaker 2: Were you always okay?
00:23:47
Speaker 3: No?
00:23:47
Speaker 2: Were you always like creative and into music.
00:23:50
Speaker 1: Or always always always from the guy? I like? The first song was say My Name that I feel like I was like, oh my god job name shout out Kira. That's when I feel like I first fell in love with music, and I was like, oh my god, I have to have to be a part of it in some way. But growing up in North Carolina and my dad's a lawyer, my mom's and O b U I N I had no connection to the music industry.
00:24:20
Speaker 2: Except you're being part of the acappella group.
00:24:25
Speaker 1: Well that's what led me to yes. So then I got to college and I joined the Cleffhangers. We were a premier a cappella group at UNC Chapel Hill. Let me tell you, hi, thank you. We were still popular. I'm not kidding because there was this guy who was in the group a few years before, and he was on American Idol, and he was on American Idol like in the first like five seasons and he got to like top five. So all of North Carolina was rooting for him so much, and he was still in college. So it made the a capella group super.
00:25:01
Speaker 2: So you were famous for a while.
00:25:05
Speaker 1: So like walking on that UNC campus as a Cleffhanger, it was really tough. People running up to me asking me the same.
00:25:12
Speaker 2: Wait, so we need to go back to the Maid thing. Yeah that was made. Maide was high school though Maid was high school.
00:25:18
Speaker 3: Okay, so tell everyone how you how Maid became and like what made is for people who don't know.
00:25:25
Speaker 1: Okay, So Maid. Maid was in that era of Sweet sixteen, True Life, Real World sixteen, pregnant like that era, and it was called Maid and they would take a kid and they would make the kid into whatever they wanted to be. This was It was really really weird and random. Nothing ever happens in Carrie, North Carolina, and all of a sudden, they make an announcement over the school intercom and they're like, MTV is coming to our high school. Anyone who wants to audition for Maid can audition?
00:25:56
Speaker 2: Do you know how people audition?
00:25:58
Speaker 1: Seven hundred and fifty from.
00:26:01
Speaker 3: We had, They went to other schools around three schools, three schools seven fifty times three whatever?
00:26:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, what is that? I have no idea what that? Yes?
00:26:11
Speaker 2: So you are one of yes.
00:26:14
Speaker 1: And so then they chose one kid from each high school and they chose me. I walked into the audition room, being my amazing, magnificent, vibrant self, and I said that I wanted to be made into I wanted to have muscle, okay. And so the woman goes, okay, so a bodybuilder and I was like, I didn't. I didn't say bodybuilder. She was bodybuilder. And I'm like, okay, great. So then whatever I did in that audition room, I got it, but it was still like okay. So I'm the kid from my high school, Green Hope, and then there were two other kids, and they followed each kid around for a week, like a producer came and follow each kid around for.
00:26:51
Speaker 2: A week and did they film me at your high school?
00:26:53
Speaker 1: They filmed in my high school through school like we're in the class and after class, yes, after school whatever, hanging with your friends, whatever, you guys. And my friend like she could see one of the producer's phones and she read, this is so messed up, and she read this kid is amazed. This kid is amazing. We need it to be him. He's clearly so gay, but he doesn't know it yet. The prod was texting that to probably the TV it and my friend read it like see over his shoulder.
00:27:23
Speaker 2: Were you out at this point?
00:27:24
Speaker 1: No? And so and you know of course, And that's that in my heart in that moment, like my friend read and my friend's dying laughing, and she told me that moment, and I'm like, why would he say that I'm not gay? I like Claire. I like Claire. It's so bad. But then so they chose me, and then the process started and I didn't know what this was going to be like. But we filmed for six months, shi six months? Six months? You No, they didn't pay me anything. I didn't have my rate.
00:28:00
Speaker 2: Then you should call up your lyric royalty checks.
00:28:04
Speaker 1: That's crazy, okay, But like you know, they would because it was bodybuilding. So I would have to do two workouts today before school. And you remember high school starts at like seven am, so they would the first. Like I didn't know that we were going to workouts before school. And this was real. My trainer, Doug showed up, my mom Knew showed up at my house at four am, came into my room and I had bunk beds. Came into my room, turned the lights on, Get the fuck up, it's time we're gonna go running military And it was real.
00:28:35
Speaker 2: And I had to also actually had to work work hours.
00:28:39
Speaker 1: Every day before school.
00:28:40
Speaker 2: Compared to you, now, your little body. He was a little stick of bean. He was like a tripod, sting.
00:28:50
Speaker 1: He was a tripod.
00:28:53
Speaker 2: You should put a photo of my face trying to do it, because it's gonna match, I'm telling you.
00:28:59
Speaker 1: And so I would have to work out before school and then they would come film during school and then classes.
00:29:06
Speaker 2: The school didn't care that that was like disrupted.
00:29:08
Speaker 1: After a month, they said no more filming in school because it got like lunchtime. People were throwing oranges at me. They just people were doing anything to try and get on the set on the show, like kids running up to me in the hall, putting their arm around me. People I didn't know. It was crazy.
00:29:24
Speaker 2: People changing, Oh, people were you know, it was crazy.
00:29:29
Speaker 1: At the beginning of this was the beginning of my sophomore year. At the beginning of my sophomore year, some are going into it. Everyone hated me. Why because this kid had a party at the beginning of summer and this was one of my first times ever really getting like blacked out, like wasted, and we all went so much fun. It was like seniors, like everyone older, and we were going into sophomore year, so we were all trying to be cool and drinking with them. And I was like pounding shots trying to be cool. My little body, I got so drunk, went home, through up all over my room, slept like around an in throw up like bad. Got caught. The next morning, my mom obviously the mom, my mom told my parents are divorced, and my mom, to my mom obviously was like punishing me. But my mom's cool, but like punishing me me. My dad comes in, My dad, being the strict attorney that he is, and goes, no, who had the party. We're going to drive to his house. We're gonna drive to his house, and I'm crying, crying, no boy, screaming cry. We drive to the kid's house who through the party. My dad knocks on the door, takes me with him. Your kid through a party that you don't know about, and my kid got drunk. So then the kid who through the party told everyone, and everyone was like, Carter's a snitch. And the whole school was like, never invite Carter anywhere because he's gonna snitch. And so everyone hated me. But then boom, the universe there comes made and all of a sudden, the tables turned and Carter became king of.
00:30:58
Speaker 3: That school, and everyone wanted to Carter at his parties with that camera crew.
00:31:02
Speaker 2: But let me tell you.
00:31:03
Speaker 1: But isn't that crazy. It was like people were like bullying me, and then Maid came around, and then people like changed.
00:31:08
Speaker 2: So you think that that doing Maid made you like more into fitness, or you think you had nothing to.
00:31:16
Speaker 1: Do with your being gay made me more in the fitness, That's true.
00:31:19
Speaker 2: Carter says that like in the gay world, all the gays in the bubble of LA are super fit, super strong. They don't miss one day of workout, they eat super healthy, and Carter like, thanks, okay.
00:31:31
Speaker 1: Well not every gay. Everyone. Everyone is free to do what they want to do. Everyone can be on the spectrum of fitness however they want to look. But for me, once I moved.
00:31:41
Speaker 3: To Carter works out every day for the Gaze because he wants to be the hottest gay on the street.
00:31:50
Speaker 2: I saw, that's what you say, I said, once I moved.
00:31:55
Speaker 1: Once I moved to LA. So I said, once I moved to LA, it just like I was in such a small bubble of North Carolina. So then when I moved to West Hollywood and I'm seeing all.
00:32:04
Speaker 3: These I couldnot be a tripod anymore.
00:32:09
Speaker 1: I'm like, I gotta work out a little bit. I gotta I gotta do that.
00:32:12
Speaker 2: Yes, bigger than mine.
00:32:13
Speaker 1: Thank you. It motivated me, and it was motivating movie here because I was like, Okay, a lot of these dudes work out, Like do.
00:32:19
Speaker 2: You find it exhausting or do you find it motivated and good?
00:32:23
Speaker 1: I find it good. Like when I went to the gym earlier today before I came here, I was like, I was like, God, this like makes me feel so good. It like really makes me feel good about myself. And just like, I'm.
00:32:33
Speaker 3: Committed to your mental health. Also, anytime I'm feeling like super workout, to push yourself to go work out, it's like the hardest thing ever, but then you feel like all the endorphins after it and you're like, wow, this is amazing today and it killed me, But don't.
00:32:49
Speaker 1: You feel I want to come to this?
00:32:54
Speaker 2: I looked actually really like it.
00:32:56
Speaker 1: Also it was at a good time to look in structor and I was like, please wait, what is this.
00:33:03
Speaker 2: Is the hot hot plates mat floor, But it was in that room. It was one hundred and one. Within likeness Carter, there's a different one though this is different. Card of the room was one hundred and one. It was one hundred and one within five minutes of the glass, and I was like, how am I gonna it gets up to like one of four?
00:33:21
Speaker 1: One of it?
00:33:22
Speaker 3: It was very would love it because you sweat so much and then after you stand up and you're.
00:33:26
Speaker 2: Like, abs are so popping because you get all like.
00:33:29
Speaker 1: I also like when you guys the Reformer thing, you as to take the mega Form. I like that too.
00:33:34
Speaker 2: You have that Mega Former, you would love megaphorm whatever.
00:33:36
Speaker 1: When we went to a while ago, we're on the thing, I like, you know what.
00:33:39
Speaker 3: I really want to try solid core, which you would actually probably never been the videos that's mega but they say it's a mix of Megaformer and strength training because they use the machine that is like the same as the Mega Former machine, but they where it's like resistance training strength training.
00:33:56
Speaker 1: Should we go tomorrow? Yeah, I mean I'm down to if you guys, if we go at like eleven, I have a fitting at eleven, so god, you can't go end great right? These girls love to work out at the ass Crackadima.
00:34:10
Speaker 3: Now we like to work out at nine am ten am like normal humans. Carter doesn't like to leave his bad until noon. So you had your high school, you had, your college, was there what was the moment for you that like changed and made you feel like, oh, I want something different than Wait.
00:34:26
Speaker 1: Also, that's a good question.
00:34:27
Speaker 3: I'll finish that question and then I have another one. Actually, was there a moment for you that made you feel like you wanted something different from everyone else around you and that you wanted to pursue, you know, this life that now.
00:34:38
Speaker 2: You have that you have.
00:34:39
Speaker 1: It was interning out here summer before my senior year and my friend Channing, who was in the a cappella group with me. There's no Channing. His older sister was working at this publishing company, and she was like, we like actually sang our acapella group. Surprised her at her wedding and we sang at her wedding, which was really cute. And that when I met her and she was telling her my left for me music whatever, and she's like, you should come be my intern for a summer in LA And when I that was my first time ever. I'd been to LA like once before that in my life, when I was a kid, but living here and actually being immersed in the music industry and I wasn't doing anything besides getting coffee.
00:35:14
Speaker 2: I was just.
00:35:17
Speaker 1: Being able to like be in an environment worth like these A and rs that are like talking about. At the time, it was like the summer of Shower Becky g Shower and they were like working on that song and being able to be around that. I was like, Oh my god, I have to I have to do this. This is what I have to do with my life, like there's nothing else I can do.
00:35:37
Speaker 2: Was this during your political political science?
00:35:40
Speaker 1: Yes, I learned from.
00:35:42
Speaker 2: Your TikTok, and I was like political science major. I had no idea that that was even a thing.
00:35:49
Speaker 1: Because there was no music business program at UNC related political science.
00:35:55
Speaker 2: Good questions, music, tell me how that correlates, because that.
00:35:59
Speaker 1: Was political science is a pretty good but it's a pretty good gateway into like law. So I thought, the way I'm going to break into the music industry is entertainment law. And so I thought I was going to be like an attorney for artists. I was like, that's the only way I'm going to be to do it. And of course my dad was like, yeah, exactly, law school and following my footsteps, Carter uh huh, And I was like, I mean, I guess, so I guess that's what I'm gonna have to do. So that's why I was a poly side major. I can't tell you one thing I learned.
00:36:30
Speaker 2: I can't tell you from college. Go to college, boler.
00:36:37
Speaker 1: But vic first you first went to what Texas school, Texas State, Texas was in a sorority.
00:36:44
Speaker 2: But I did an internship in LA which made me the same, the same, the same.
00:36:49
Speaker 1: And also trajectory this is also this is like a funny one. But another thing that like also made me what me and Vick have talked about which made me be so like, oh my god, los ange list was The Hills.
00:37:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, we talked about I need to watch The Hills?
00:37:04
Speaker 1: Have you never watched it?
00:37:05
Speaker 2: Ever watched The Hills? And I was supposed to watch it on the episode and just like that, but like that it's hard. I think if you watch it now, you might be like not into it, but like just I've tried rewatching it now and it's just not the same.
00:37:16
Speaker 1: But like like high school watching that.
00:37:20
Speaker 2: But it was just like that that next chapter that you want to do.
00:37:22
Speaker 1: They were like interns in l A.
00:37:25
Speaker 2: And it was like wow, No, I was like I need to be her. I love everything and like you did, and I did, but she didn't. It was all fake, but we did it.
00:37:36
Speaker 1: Like working Conrad, I was more Audrina than Audrina was, like working at that record.
00:37:43
Speaker 2: Like phone calls. But yeah, when you watch that, like at that time, it was just everything. I was like, it just made l A look like the coolest place ever.
00:37:51
Speaker 1: And it was like, it's just so different from North Carolina.
00:37:55
Speaker 2: And Venezuela, you name him.
00:37:58
Speaker 1: It's different than very different than my A.
00:38:03
Speaker 3: After college, you were an assistant. You also like to say that you were the worst assistant ever. I do what is Why do you think that you were the worst assistant ever?
00:38:13
Speaker 1: Because I'm not organized, because I'm late, because I'm thinking about my damn self.
00:38:21
Speaker 2: That milk and honey.
00:38:22
Speaker 1: This is that milk honey.
00:38:23
Speaker 2: That's when I met Carter.
00:38:24
Speaker 1: This is well, it's just like, so, what year did you guys meet? Twenty seventeen, twenty seventeen. Yeah, I trust you, that was my I moved here. I moved here at twenty sixteen. We met in twenty seventeen.
00:38:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I remember he was working on Milk and Honey as an assistant.
00:38:39
Speaker 1: Being an assistant is really tough. It's tough Lindsey tough read.
00:38:51
Speaker 2: I believe the word.
00:38:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just it's hard, like having someone else's schedule all fall on you and trying to make everything happen and be perfect and keeping everything flowing for that person. You have to be a specific You gotta.
00:39:09
Speaker 2: Be a person, and you really are not.
00:39:10
Speaker 1: I'm just it's knowing you.
00:39:13
Speaker 2: No, I don't know how I faked until I made it for five years, because I don't know how I did that.
00:39:18
Speaker 1: But you're like you're organized though, like when you want to be you're good at. You're good at to be so hard to do it. It's hard, and like, guys, I had to be the one to open the office every day. I had to show you time I am. I did that too, and I did it well. But there was many a time when my boss would be like, why am I here before you? Why am I opening the office? And I'd be like, okay, it's eight fourteen, and he'd be like, you should be here seven fifty eight.
00:39:45
Speaker 2: I'd be like, Chris would make me go at seven am in Woodland Hills, so we'll have to drive trigger I think it makes me want to crack.
00:39:56
Speaker 1: It was tough. It's like because I was the front desk boy answering the phone, so it's like I had to phone you need to be there ready, And I was just I mean, I think my boss was very cool, and I think once we became homies. And he's also gay too, so he like, you did meet him, you did meet him. He's the coolest. Shout out Lucas. He's cool, really great guy and he's killed. His company's massive now. But I just was yearning to be way more creative, and I think, like, like I would fuck up his reservations all the time.
00:40:30
Speaker 2: Wasn't there like a coffee story with an email? You like your job, you tell them.
00:40:37
Speaker 1: He had to get him a coffee one time, and he liked his coffee specific way, and I just like I think, I just I don't even know what I ordered. I think I got some like frappuccino whipped cream, crazy awful thing. And he was just and he I was at the front desk at his office was behind and I got an email from him because he would always just email things like hey call this person right now, or hey run to the coffee machine, do this? Yeah, any email? Do you like your job?
00:41:03
Speaker 2: What is you?
00:41:03
Speaker 1: What is you stay. Yes, why he's like my coffee order. It was just like that type of stuff where I'm just like my brain just wasn't but you know who's coffee order. I didn't suck up yours my own.
00:41:20
Speaker 2: But you have to start somewhere. You have to start somewhere. It's just a steven Stone.
00:41:24
Speaker 1: Yeah. But I'm so glad I had that time in my life though, of like really grinding and like working hard, because I'm like, no, one can never say that I didn't work for what I have.
00:41:37
Speaker 2: Absolutely, I know that's right. What was the hardest part about breaking into the industry?
00:41:43
Speaker 1: Good question, I think. Okay, when I did my internship somewhere before my senior year, I didn't have a job out here, and so I kept telling my mom, I'm gonna move to l A after I graduate, but I don't have a job. So I tried my best to keep all of my relationships that I met of people that I met when I was an intern, and I would just email them like every month, like, Hey, I'm graduating in June. If there's any assistant position, please keep me up for it, Please keep me posted, please get be posted. And I moved out here without a job and did an unpaid internship again that summer when I moved out here in June, and I didn't get a job until like October, like Matt Milk and Honey did you move? I lived Midwellshire that's when I first moved here. My mom helped me, well, my mom and dad, they both helped me. Thank you, Like, I'm so grateful for my parents because I honestly would not have been able to do it if they didn't help me those first.
00:42:37
Speaker 2: To get an apartment, to get an apartment and help.
00:42:39
Speaker 1: Me with rent. Yeah, but I had a you know, I had a job at There was this store on Melrose and it was like a clothing store. And I had a job there for like three months and then I got fired for like being late. I really worked at a clothing store.
00:42:56
Speaker 3: You could tell Carter to show up an hour before you need him to be there, and he will still find a way to be late always.
00:43:04
Speaker 2: He just doesn't care about timing.
00:43:06
Speaker 1: I care. I care, like, okay a lot with moisturizing your skills.
00:43:10
Speaker 3: But if I can't like plan, if you know that you need this amount of time to leave your house two hours, so then wouldn't you be like if I had to be if I need two hours and I need to be there at twelve, Let's say I need to leave at eleven thirty. That means I need waking up at nine so that I can start my routine at nine thirty and then I'll be out the door on time.
00:43:33
Speaker 2: This sounds so good, But what is it about your brain?
00:43:37
Speaker 1: Harter?
00:43:38
Speaker 2: What is it about it that you just can't time management? He cannot. And we talked to him like this, it's tough, Leff, because we've had it. We've had it. He doesn't. He just.
00:43:50
Speaker 3: I cannot fat Like it doesn't make any sense in my brain, Like, you have to be somewhere at five pm, it's going to take thirty minutes to get there, Forny.
00:44:00
Speaker 1: But you know, I'm really good with work stuff.
00:44:03
Speaker 2: You're actually on time today.
00:44:06
Speaker 1: I kind of was right.
00:44:06
Speaker 2: I think you guys were both. It wasn't he was two week because he has a thirty.
00:44:12
Speaker 1: Six said five forty five, and I was like, yeah, whoa, it.
00:44:16
Speaker 2: Was going to be like six twenty. But this is something we cannot change about him. It doesn't matter how much do they love me? Said something he was late to Kylie's takeoffs. Oh God, like Charter, it's a lot that you have to have.
00:44:29
Speaker 1: Okay, you guys, this was years ago, but yeah, she scared the ship out of it.
00:44:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, she's We almost left Carter and then he got on the plane and we were like, oh, this is going to be the say this is gonna be the.
00:44:39
Speaker 1: Is it for him? Chris? I've never been late to Kylie's plane ever again though, for sure.
00:44:46
Speaker 2: So that's the only thing that's changed. He's early to Kylie's blamed. You are a milk and honey for how many years?
00:44:53
Speaker 1: Three three? That you get I got promoted to what day to day manager? Oh?
00:44:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, amazing.
00:45:00
Speaker 1: And that was then how I met Jeremy Vernick got It, who was an an ar Capital and the job. Yeah, he was like, you can work for work.
00:45:08
Speaker 2: Was there a moment when you were at Capital or before that you wanted to quit or were you always super driven?
00:45:14
Speaker 1: Was there a moment at Capital where you like, I fucking hate this place someone like.
00:45:17
Speaker 2: You wanted to quit the journey? No, you never wanted to not.
00:45:21
Speaker 3: At Capital, like and and you were an assistant, Like, was there an early moment where you were like, I don't know if I can take this anymore, Like I can't do this, Like I think I want to get back home and find something else to do.
00:45:33
Speaker 2: Or like not going back home.
00:45:34
Speaker 1: Well before I had the job, before I got the job, and that those like five months of not having a job and living out here and not and like trying to figure it out and figure out and trying to find your friends and like hang out with people that I'm like working at the clothing store and like hang out with people that I didn't really vibe with what I just wanted to be with people. You know, I was like, I want to move back to North Carolina. No, I said, I want to move to like DC or New York, because that's where a bunch of my college friends were, Like Channing was in like DC. And I was like, I'm happy you did it' I know, thank god. But then I got the job and I stuck it through.
00:46:07
Speaker 2: So you did Milton Honey for three years assistant manager, and then you went to Capital.
00:46:11
Speaker 1: As an R Yes, as an an R manager.
00:46:13
Speaker 2: Do you know what an arst? Because of your Milk and Honey experience, because I.
00:46:16
Speaker 1: Had I just knew it. I knew it was when I was an intern.
00:46:19
Speaker 2: So yeah, for those who don't know, say what an an R?
00:46:23
Speaker 1: Please?
00:46:24
Speaker 2: You're the last one according to Wes.
00:46:26
Speaker 1: According to Diplo, we should insert that clip too. I think you might be one of the last remaining actual an rs in the world. I am the last living and rs. It's crazy. It was also not true. There's plenty of amazing an rs. But A and R stands for artists and repertoire, and we are responsible for helping the art well, we signed the artists, and we're responsible for helping them put together their albums, help put together their singles, put them in sessions, introduce them to producer songwriters, put them with the people who help them create all the music that we love.
00:46:57
Speaker 3: So you find the writer, the producer, the artists, and you basically mesh it up to make the most amazing song.
00:47:04
Speaker 1: Yes, and that is my favorite part.
00:47:06
Speaker 2: So I explained it to Gina yesterday. So I'm so happy I was right.
00:47:08
Speaker 1: You killed it. And that's my favorite part of music. It is so much fun. I mean, the amount of times I think back to like being in the studio with Fletcher, being in the studio with Doci, like and like listening to some of these songs as they're being created and like molded, and they go from one demo and then the song completely changes to the one that maybe you hear that's released. It is like it's the most giving. It's literally like.
00:47:36
Speaker 2: It's like getting for nine months, delivering and then raising a.
00:47:41
Speaker 1: You feel the emotions and then to like live with the song for so long it comes before it even comes out, and then to see the way it impacts people.
00:47:51
Speaker 2: That's so exciting and fun. You made it to VP at Capitol right pretty fast? Pretty fast?
00:47:57
Speaker 1: How it was? I think it was signing Fletcher and we released an incredible first project. Yeah, you were in New York City for me. I mean Undrunk you guys. I love that Undrunk you guys. We would listen to. It's so crazy too. I was on my phone the other day and I texted it to John and I was like, we have twenty five different versions of Undrunk. Twenty five different I mean between you and John or no of like before it the demo to like, we tried so many different producers, so many different guys. It's crazy different. Love to hear it sounds, yeah, and I think Capital, just like they really and I'm so grateful, but they really believed in me as a young A and R. And I just started signing more artists and they're like, oh, we like you're great and we want to keep you here. So I got promoted to VP and you were there for how long? Pretty quickly? I was like Capital for seven years.
00:48:48
Speaker 2: That's a long time out of company, right, long time? Yeah, Corporate America Corporate.
00:48:54
Speaker 3: What was your like daily schedule like as an A and R at Capital it, I mean before COVID, I was in the office.
00:49:03
Speaker 1: Pre COVID, I was in the office Monday to Friday.
00:49:06
Speaker 2: I really was closed it.
00:49:08
Speaker 1: They closed it. And also I loved being in the office, Like that is a time when I can say that I genuine It was very different from being a milk and honey assistem Like I didn't have to open Capital Records. So but like being in the office, I loved.
00:49:22
Speaker 2: It, like going and having a place to be, like having.
00:49:27
Speaker 1: My meetings here with all the other A and rs out of my own office in the Capitol Records building, Like that's an iconic building like overlooking all of Hollywood, And it was just so cool because that was like shout out Jeremy, but like Jeremy signed Halsey, so like hearing from his office him blasting without me before it even came out, and all of us being like, oh shit, this is like that. It was just such a That was when I was like, wow, I have made it in the music industry, Like I feel so good. Yeah, And then COVID hit and then every thing became on Zoom and then I was like the office for like years, right, Capital. The Capitol building just opened again at the end of last year. That's insane because they redid everything.
00:50:10
Speaker 2: So they took the opportunity to make over though, and.
00:50:13
Speaker 1: It's beautiful inside now, really beautiful.
00:50:15
Speaker 2: But you don't work the no month.
00:50:16
Speaker 1: I went there once the night sent I'm out.
00:50:20
Speaker 2: Thinking about Capital.
00:50:22
Speaker 3: I need you to tell the story about when we went Artist part New Artists Grammy Spotify party.
00:50:30
Speaker 2: Carter woke up in bed in between me and Victoria and what happened.
00:50:34
Speaker 1: Which is crazy that you never It's crazy because I have really bad insomnia. They know this, and I'm so bad at sleeping with people. I just like can't fall asleep. I don't know what's wrong with me, and I woke up. I've been to a sleep specialist, say, multiple times, and I woke up in the middle of these two, so you know, I had to be out cold. We went to the Best New Artist party, which we go to every year, and I don't know what got in me this year, whatever year this was, but I was so excited to be there and I got very, very drunk, to the point where I somehow got separated from you two, and everyone was going back to your house to like continue party right after party. I have fun. Yes, I don't know why I wasn't with them, but somehow I my drunk ass gets into an uber and I somehow put the uber to l a x I. It was not the story that I was thinking of, but this is all the same, all the same night, the same night, the same night, all the same night. I put the uber to LAX and the guy we get to l a x I fall asleep. I fell asleep and the guy was like, sir, what terminal? And I'm like no, no, no, And then I, in this state of drunk, I remember coming to and being like where is everyone? And then I FaceTime you and I'm like where are you? Like we're all at my house and then I put the uber from Lax to Stas's house and we're still up. Everyone was still up.
00:52:12
Speaker 2: I do not obviously I don't remember.
00:52:14
Speaker 1: Of course, it's probably only like three like, yeah, so it was probably only like a twenty Yeah, like, you guys have probably only been at your house for probably like thirty minutes at this point. Yeah, okay, And so then we go back to Stass. I get back to Stas's and fall asleep, I guess, in bed with these two and I wake up and I had it was this was like a weekday. It was like a thin It was like a Thursday night, Wednesday or Thursday.
00:52:37
Speaker 2: Say night. Waking up Thursday morning.
00:52:39
Speaker 1: I had meetings all the next day, in person meetings.
00:52:43
Speaker 2: You missed all of them. Well, you smell like you woke.
00:52:47
Speaker 1: Up and you said that, said, I smell like diary said, I have to.
00:52:53
Speaker 3: Throw up and diarrhea at the same time, and I have to go in person to these meetings.
00:52:59
Speaker 1: We had.
00:53:01
Speaker 2: To.
00:53:03
Speaker 1: We have a video that I didn't make it to the office. Oh, you guys used to be crazy.
00:53:07
Speaker 2: We used to be crazy.
00:53:08
Speaker 1: We've toned it down a little bit for sure.
00:53:10
Speaker 2: Back to the music process, like a funny little blip. Can you think of a project that taught you the most, Like, who's been one of your favorite artists to work with as an A and R as a grown man, as a.
00:53:27
Speaker 1: Wow, that's a good question. I would say Fletcher for sure, just because it was my first time ever. It was all new, it was all new, it was my first time ever signing an artist, working with finish start to finish, creating a body of work with someone for the first time.
00:53:42
Speaker 2: Wait, I have a memory of you putting me to work and helping you listen to every single vinyl record from Fletcher's album to make sure it sounded good. Sounds. We listened to every single vinyl How many were there?
00:54:00
Speaker 1: They probably send us like five test because every single.
00:54:10
Speaker 2: Been sold ever listens to to make sure that they were good.
00:54:15
Speaker 1: Well, so when they're making when they're making vinyls, they send you these test pressings, which are just like the vinyls of what's going to be sold in stores, but they send you a bunch of different ones. So because it's very easy for there to be scratches or like mistakes. Yeah, so you've got to listen to each one to make sure out of all of these five, there's no fun ups or like with the sound or no scratches or anything. If you hear something, then potentially it could be that could be one that's sold.
00:54:42
Speaker 2: And don't do every single every single song. We're sitting there. Do you know how they how do they do that?
00:54:47
Speaker 1: I've always wondered that how they make vinyl?
00:54:49
Speaker 2: Like how do they like? How does that anything?
00:54:52
Speaker 1: Like it? We should figure that out.
00:54:55
Speaker 2: It's pretty greazy they've been doing that thing. But also there's like spaceships go to space, so I feel like that how do they do that? I feel like this is a lot more simple, you know what I mean? Like or like how did they put the song in that disc? But like, but how do they There's also there's also CDs.
00:55:17
Speaker 1: The same way.
00:55:18
Speaker 2: Does Mirror have the song?
00:55:20
Speaker 1: This thing?
00:55:21
Speaker 2: Nothing makes sense? But we can't even think about that because will spiral.
00:55:24
Speaker 1: Why I don't smoke weed, literally, you're.
00:55:27
Speaker 2: Smoking the wrong weed. I keep saying, I'm gonna try, you know what, I'm gonna try that joint that you gave me. You should you should try. I'm gonna try it.
00:55:34
Speaker 1: You gave her a joint.
00:55:35
Speaker 2: She gave me the good weed the months ago. I've had it in my side table for months.
00:55:40
Speaker 1: You you like smoking. There was other people like I know people who like just like little nighttime edibles.
00:55:45
Speaker 2: I like smoking. I'm not like a huge smoker anymore. I used to smoke a lot more. Now, just like a few hits at night does it for me.
00:55:52
Speaker 1: I don't think it's.
00:55:52
Speaker 2: Super high high.
00:55:54
Speaker 1: Every time I saw you high.
00:55:55
Speaker 2: And it's nice. I'm just like in such a good mood. I'm just happy and chilling and mellow.
00:56:01
Speaker 1: You're awesome, but like you're so I don't know you're so normal.
00:56:04
Speaker 2: Because I'm telling you. I'm telling you about the wet. Me and Donnie only smoke a specific strand of weed. It's it's the same brand.
00:56:14
Speaker 1: Alone.
00:56:15
Speaker 2: I have to try it alone. She's gonna be okay. I'm gonna text that being like she will be. Maybe doesn't X.
00:56:21
Speaker 1: I didn't feel like I would need like a Donnie like I.
00:56:26
Speaker 2: Enjoy it alone.
00:56:27
Speaker 1: You put.
00:56:28
Speaker 2: I can talk with you, I can smoke with Kylie. I can smoke weed with Jorida like me and Jordan.
00:56:33
Speaker 3: Really, I could get so high with Jordan because and Jordan gets so stupid together when.
00:56:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't been high in so long.
00:56:40
Speaker 2: That's not true that who are we watching Sabrina?
00:56:44
Speaker 1: Yes, Sabrina.
00:56:46
Speaker 2: There's a girl in front of us and she's like on the phone the whole time. So cars like, oh, she's on the phone, but she wasn't. She was like no, no, no, tell him, like she was just like so into this phone. Car like, oh my god.
00:56:59
Speaker 1: In the middle of the show, in the middle.
00:57:00
Speaker 2: Of Sabrina, twenty minutes go by, and I'm like, curder, she's still on the phone, and I'm like, you know what this is giving when uh, what's her name on the on the shoe and when and the devil. She's trying to get Miranda a plane from Miami to from Miami to New York, please, And it's like she's on the phone, yeah, with her dad crossing the street. She's on the phone for so long.
00:57:24
Speaker 1: Get Donna Tallan's plane.
00:57:27
Speaker 2: They're like, no planes are flying, get the plane. So that me and Carter like Carter is Andy asking for the Miranda's plane, And Carter got the reference so quickly, and then we couldn't stop crying laughing. I was looking at her because she looked there. She's like she will look at us. She will look at us and still be the phone.
00:57:43
Speaker 1: And then we discovered that she was trying to find out where her brother was.
00:57:47
Speaker 2: Yes, you guy's had the moment with her.
00:57:49
Speaker 1: But she also it's like she wasn't like moving to go find him. She was the first spot.
00:57:54
Speaker 2: I'm watching Sabrina even though I'm on the phone with you, it was it was not the spot it was. It was so funny. Anyways, thank you Carter for coming.
00:58:03
Speaker 1: I love you guy. We're doing this more to.
00:58:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, because we barely got through half of our relationship.
00:58:10

00:58:13
Speaker 2: We met, that party, our first trip together, our first the groups.
