As I listened to this episode, I wondered if the relative recency of human habitation in North America is reflected in the power of indigenous culture through their strong connection to their ancestors which has been kept alive *to this day* through oral storytelling by the survivors of the horrific genocide brought on purpose by the ancestors of (which generally goes unmentioned, at least you referenced colonialism!)
