patrick sharkey (born c. 1977) is an American sociologist and criminologist who is currently Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University. He was formerly Professor and Chair of the Department of Sociology at New York University, with an affiliation at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
