► Tell us about you and your podcast
I've been in the military for 23 years, most of the time in Special Operations. I started the podcast journey 18 months ago as the host of Kill Tank Radio.
Our podcast is about relatable content that helps our audience in their pursuits.
Anyone looking to make a better version of themselves.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I wanted to create something that would exist on digital media for all time. Were stories are told and people can relate with the Guests.
I want to add value to people's lives.
January of 2021.
It took about two months of playing, trial and error before we released the first episode.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I take advantage of the margins in time. Very deliberate when I prepare and execute episodes. Also I try to always work ahead, so I'm not scrambling to publish and episode.
I spend an average of 16-20 hours a week.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I learn from every guest. They give me perspective and lessons I can apply in my own pursuits.
Our first sponsor was from a mutual friend that was trying to get exposure on their service.
Podcasting has made me better in all ways, person, communicator and leader.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
Every episode I prepare by learning everything I can about the guest. Social media, books and articles. Trying to know their story and to best capture it so they can add value to our audience. The key is good thought provoking questions.
