► Why & how did you start this podcast?
The podcast is celebrating its 2nd anniversary. I created it to fill a perceived lack of independent, non partisan news commentary stories that add are informative, thought provoking and engaging.
We began on March 26, 2020. It took one month to release the first episode and we are up to 276 published shows today.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I am dedicated full time to the podcast and fund it myself. I publish a minimum of two episodes weekly and sometimes up to four per week. Each show lasts about 30 minutes. I recruit the guests myself from my list of contacts. I also produce, edit and promote on social media every episode.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
As a former stringer for newspapers and the BBC , podcasting permits me to use my journalist experience. I find it very fulfilling, albeit time consuming. I dedicate 50 hours per week to my podcast.
I do not have any sponsors at this point but open to considering sponsorship.
