Catch Up Conversations with friends about their life and career journey

I'm from Manila, Philippines. I started the podcast as a way to reconnect with friends from all over the world, and more recently those in my network to talk about their life and career. I hope to inspire those just about to start their careers, or one who's wondering whether they should make that bold career move. It's a dose to see what works for others and what might work for them!
 

I love podcasts, especially those with high production value - well researched and varied content. It's my way of opening up my mind to many other topics outside my immediate circle. I really just wanted to connect with friends and do so in a fun way, that's how it all started. It eventually is branching out to be my way of connecting and getting to know more people's lives and careers. This started in 2020, the height of the pandemic, though the idea was a looooong time coming, even as far back as 2015
 

I get to produce a new episode fortnightly, sometimes every week if i'm feeling excited about the guests and the topics. I do everything for this production, which in itself is a fun learning process! This is a big passion piece, so I get to make time outside my day job!
 

I haven't really ventured out into sponsorships just yet. For now, i get enough value just by reconnecting to old friends and learning new things about them.
 

I search my network for the next awesome guest, setup a zoom call where i record the raw clips.

I edit using audacity to cut and slice the parts i like, then Anchor (podcasting for dummies) to put them all together
For the recent season, i enlisted the help of a friend to voice over and another one for a closing song
