We all have the capacity to experience love, through both giving and receiving. But over time past hurts and mistrusts can close our hearts to fully experiencing love. We may carry a fear of being hurt again. In turn, we become selective in how much love we give, and how much love we allow ourselves to receive from others. Restricting our hearts in this way stifles our spiritual growth — and it can even affect the body, including the heart itself. In this meditation, we learn to open our hearts by removing any walls we may have built. This increases our capacity to give love openly, and receive love without conditions.
