Tero Isokauppila has a strange background. He grew up hunting mushrooms in the woods with his family. He’s a man of many contradictions. He’s a new age hippy, who also served in the Finnish military. But by taking the things that are unique about himself and putting them out into the world, he was able to create value and start a successful business. “Health, wellness, and sports nutrition were always kind of a big focus of mine. But I never thought I would build a business around them. That was not my intention at all.” Tero took his passion and the knowledge he had that set him apart and he built Four Sigmatic. The path was unconventional for sure, but Tero’s journey teaches us that sometimes the things that make us different are actually what set us up for success.
