THE TAKE 12 RECOVERY RADIO SHOW A Special Tribute to Conley Ray White ABOUT THIS SHOW: A special tribute to a man who helped put Take 12 Recovery Radio on the map, Mr. Conley Ray White, 12 Stepper and Recovery Recording Artist passed away on Saturday September 22 at the age of 63. This show highlights some of Conley’s incredible recovery music as we remember this great and loving brother who we have lost way too soon. Conley White a.k.a. just Ray, worked for over two decades as a professional staff songwriter for Nashville music publishers including Sony/Cross Keys. He has had 64 songs that were recorded by artists such as Lonestar, Hank Williams Jr., Davis Daniel and Brooks and Dunn. Along the way there have been several top ten singles such as "Fighting Fire With Fire", "The Wish", "Another Perfect Day", "I Ain’t Singing That Song" and "John Doe on a John Deere". Conley was also a regular performer at Nashville's world famous Bluebird Cafe. He devoted his talents and energy to recovery and being a pioneer in recovery music.
