The US has hit back at China in their escalating trade war raising tariffs in retaliation for Beijing's announcement earlier in the day of new duties on American goods. In a series of tweets President Trump said existing 25% tariffs on $250 billion in Chinese goods will increase to 30% starting on October 1st. We look ahead to the G7 Summit in Biarritz with the BBC's James Landale. We have a special report from the BBC's Rob Young on disinformation and Elizabeth Hotson travels to the Great British Beer Festival to see how the UK’s largest beer lobby group is trying to address sexism in the industry. Joining us throughout the programme are Colin Peacock from Radio New Zealand in Auckland and Nicole Childers, executive producer at Marketplace's Morning Report in New York.
