The intrinsic hand muscles give us tremendous flexibility and control to perform many intricate movements. You can perform surgery, grip climbing holds, make fine movements to put together a model with your kids or do a puzzle, play an instrument, type a paper, and so on. The hand is a lot like the head and neck. Within a relatively small area, there are many, many structures. In this episode, you will learn about these many tiny muscles that are integral to performing the things we do every day.
