► Tell us about you and your podcast
We are two casual history buffs who are constantly learning and wanting to explore new ideas and mysteries of the past.
We hope with our casual conversations you can learn something new.
We are no experts by any means, but through this process we hope to gain a deeper understanding and love for our shared history.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
We started this podcast out of pure enjoyment, being brothers we would always discuss and show each other different story's, documentaries or articles we would find interesting. We figured others might enjoy the conversations and be able to learn something from our conversations.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
We started dedicating every Sunday to it & we've never stopped. It's been a consistent thing we've enjoyed and look forward to every week. All funding has been from our own pockets up to this point.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
We do accept sponsorships but definitely don't want to overdue it.
Our first sponsorship came through our platform Anchor.
We're always looking for great partners to share with our audience.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
We have been podcasting remotely, we both have interfaces and mics and it's been pretty seamless when throwing both recorded halves together.
These are live conversations as well so it makes it simpler.
► How do you market your show?
Listeners can find us on social media (Facebook, twitter, instagram) but most all of our audience has come naturally through posting consistently & honestly.
We keep up to date with messages & suggestions mainly through our facebook profile.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Be authentic, be consistent, your engagement will translate.
► Where can we learn more about you & your podcasts?
You can find us on all major podcasting platforms under "Casual History" and on social media under @CasualxHistory
