► Tell us about you and your podcast
My name is Leniesha. I was raised in Alaska. I am a registered nurse, homeschool mom, ministry leader, and Christian Life Coach. In my podcast I help Spirit-led women silence fear, step boldly into their Kingdom assignment, and build businesses that glorify God. Each episode blends biblical truth, prophetic strategy, and practical tools to help you move from striving to abiding. I believe when we build with bold faith and obedience to the Holy Spirit, we don’t just create income, we create impact, legacy, and Kingdom expansion. My listeners are high achieving women/moms who have very full plates but have given God their YES to go forth in their calling.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
Podcasting is such a powerful way to reach people right where they are, in the car, on a walk, in their quiet time with God. I wanted to create something that carried weight and could meet women in their everyday lives with biblical truth and practical strategy. Yes, I do listen to podcasts myself, I've always been a long form content junkie if I wasn't reading or listening to an audiobook, but more than that, I see podcasting as a prophetic platform. It’s not just about content, it’s about carrying the Word of God into the marketplace so Kingdom women can rise with boldness.
My motivation was obedience. The Lord made it clear that this was a door He wanted me to walk through, and my goal was to create a space where women could demolish fear, hear God clearly for their business, and finally build with faith and clarity. I wanted a podcast that would spark transformation, not just give tips. My mission has always been to see women step into their Kingdom assignment and carry the confidence of Christ into the marketplace.
I officially launched The Consecrated CEO on September 3, 2025. From the moment I said yes, it took me about 6 weeks to prep and launch with the help of an incredible coach and mentor. Practically speaking, I recorded and released my first episode within the same week of finalizing my show setup, but the journey to get there was all about alignment and obedience.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I release one episode a week. Because I bulk record on the weekends, I’m able to stay ahead and keep things consistent. Recording itself doesn’t take long, but the editing and prep can take a couple of hours depending on the topic. By scheduling in advance, I stay productive and keep margin for my other responsibilities. Honestly, it’s the grace of God and intentional structure. I work full time, I’m in NP school, and I homeschool, but our family operates like a well-oiled machine. I carve out time on the weekends to record, and because I know this is an assignment from the Lord, I treat it with the same level of priority as anything else He’s entrusted to me. I host my show on Podbean, which distributes it everywhere. I edit some of the episodes myself with Audacity and shoot it to an editor on Fiverr. On average, I spend less than $20 per episode. I do fund it myself, and I don’t run paid ads or heavy social media marketing right now, most of my growth comes from organic sharing and friends passing along episodes.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
For me, podcasting is obedience and overflow. Every time I record, I gain clarity, peace, and a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit. It’s also a sharpening tool, it keeps me accountable to live out the very truths I teach. On a practical level, podcasting gives me a platform to expand my coaching, build authority, and reach women all over the world who may never step into my circle otherwise. But most of all, I gain the joy of watching God use my voice to set women free and activate them into their Kingdom purpose. That's priceless.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
Each episode is written almost like a blog but with long bullet points. I am a writer at heart, so it is easier for me to verbalize what I've written, but I am also okay with flowing. I just like to keep the structure. I bulk record episodes on the weekends to stay ahead and remain focused on my other responsibilities during the week. I host my podcast on Podbean, which distributes it across all major platforms. For recording, I use a USB microphone and edit with Audacity when I do it myself, or I send files to an editor on Fiverr for polishing. Most episodes are solo, but I also bring on guests who own businesses and ministries. Those interviews are done virtually, usually over Zoom, which makes it easy to connect with people no matter where they’re located.
► How do you market your show?
Most of my listeners tune in through Apple Podcasts and Spotify, since Podbean distributes directly to those platforms. I also share episodes through word of mouth and friends often share them across their own networks, which helps me reach new listeners organically. Right now I don’t run paid ads or heavy marketing campaigns, my growth is mostly through organic sharing and people searching for faith-and-business content. I don't have a detailed percentage breakdown yet, but Apple Podcasts and Spotify are my top platforms. Because I’m focused on organic reach, the analytics I track are primarily through Podbean’s dashboard, which shows me where listeners are tuning in from geographically and which platforms they’re using most.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
First, give yourself permission to start messy and know it’s okay to rebrand if you need to. I had to rebrand myself, and it was part of the process of finding my true voice. I would also say, get under solid mentorship. Stefanie Gass is my coach and mentor, and she has endless proof and testimonials that Kingdom women can reach the world without relying on social media. From a practical standpoint, make sure your podcast looks and feels professional from the start, especially your podcast art. That’s the first impression people see, and it matters. And finally, use searchable keywords in your title and description so people can actually find you. Pairing Spirit-led obedience with strategy is what makes your podcast sustainable and impactful.
