► Tell us about you and your podcast
I am on mission from God (source, the universe, all or whatever you want to call it) just like the Blues Brothers. I am is a fairly normal(whatever normal is these days) woman who is spiritually awake. I have worn many hats (US Airman, Wife, Mother, Massage Therapist & Homemaker) this lifetime and have had many unexplainable events happen to me and around me. As my life has unfolded, I have chosen to embrace it through rocking the heck out of the Spiritual part of my journey. These days I live my daily life by spiritually cleansing, connecting with my inner guidance and using my intuition to get the most out of my daily experiences. I am a very sensitive person and have been my whole life. As a sensitive soul, I have explored many energetic, psychic, metaphysical and astrological realms that have reawakened loads of cool insights and wisdom to use in my life and share with others.
This podcast is an exploration into making sense of Spiritual stuff. Bringing practicality into Spirituality. By sharing stories of things I have been through, learnings, spiritual techniques and sharings from other like minded souls.
My listeners are normal people who are looking to understand about the spiritual part of their journey. These are souls who have daily experiences from seeing spirits, picking up energies, getting pictures in their mind's eye, hearing insights from their inner guidance, see auras and many other what some may call mystical experiences. My listeners are looking to make sense of the highly sensitive energetic aspect of their life. Basically, making sense of it all and coming together with other like minded souls to receive some positive mojo for their magical journey.

► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I started this podcast with a nudge from Spirit in mid 2020 during the pandemic. I have enjoyed some podcasts here and there over the years on subjects that I found intriguing and wanted to know more about. One was Missing Richard Simmons. I needed to know what the heck happened to Richard Simmons and it was a fun ride listening to all the fun episodes.
My initial goals of doing my podcast was to be heard. To share some of the stories that were dear to my heart and that I felt might help others relate to what they may be going through spiritually. My motivation was 100% spirit backed.
I started the podcast in the winter of 2020 in Australia. My husband and I were coming off of presenting our Spiritual work at three Mind, Body & Spirit Festivals in Australia. We were in isolation in a gorgeous house out in the highlands near Bath NSW. During that time I found myself in a quiet corner creating the first few podcasts.
It took me a couple of weeks to release my first episode. I had some great insights and guidance from Pat Flynn.

► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
When I first began I was ambitious as hell and released two a week. I kept up that pace for about 5 months. Then I scaled it back to once a week. I found that I needed to attend to other business things and needed to make the podcast more doable especially for a long term commitment. It takes me a few hours to produce an episode. Maybe 2-3 tops.
My day job is my spiritual work, so this is part of my job.
I would say that I spend less than $75 a month podcasting. Yes, I fund this myself.

► What do you gain from podcasting?
No, I haven't taken sponsorship yet.
Podcasting has benefited me greatly. It has helped build up the organizational aspect to my business. It has also given me great room to learn from mistakes. I have also learned spades from other podcasters who are rocking their podcasts. I am also still learning the knack of interviewing others. It has been a very fun journey and a great way to learn about myself and others.

► How does your podcasting process look like?
I use Garageband to record my episodes when it is just me. I use ZOOM to record the interview episodes. I have a Rodecaster board, some microphones, and a quiet closet to use.
Over the years I have dabbled in many different modalities. I have studies Astrology, Healing, Massage, Spirituality and through those areas it has given me a great base of folks to call upon for interviews.
For the interviews that are just me I record on GarageBand, upload it to Buzzsprout and then create posters in Canva and PicMonkey to use for release days. For my interviews it is basically the same but just download the recording from Zoom.
I have done a few guests in person but most are Zoom.

► How do you market your show?
Listeners find me on Apple, Google, Instagram and through Facebook. No I don't know the breakdown of listener acquisition.
I find IG and FB the most useful. I also did three months advertising through Overcast and Podcast Addict which I found a great way to find some new viewers.

► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
My suggestion before starting a podcast would be to listen to a variety of other podcasts to get insights into what you like and don't like. How do the intros and endings make you feel? Listen to the music and how does that make you feel too? It is so important to gather those resources of how you want your listeners to feel when they listen to your podcast. Being able to deliver the experience that you want to is so important. Plus you want them to listen to more episodes, become a subscriber and tell all their friends about your awesome podcast too.
The most helpful podcasting resource for myself has been Pat Flynn, Buzzsprout emails and watching YouTube videos.
