► Tell us about you and your podcast
Hi! I'm intuitive guide, energy mentor, and author of Make Ease Your Vibe. I'm a certified Angel Reiki Master and also have a degree in Biotechnology. I help clear and reset the energy in people's homes so the space feels calm, supportive, and aligned with the life they want to create.
My podcast Intuitive Wisdom is about supporting you on the journey of personal development and spiritual awakening, and I'm learning and growing right alongside you. Weekly episodes offer reflections, tools, and real conversations to help you find deeper alignment—in your home, your heart, and your life.
Listeners are mostly female and often entrepreneurs who know there is more to life and business than all the things you do. Life is what we experience. Everything is energy, and we experience energy when we feel it. We explore what it means to care about how you feel, listen to your intuition, and create a space and life where you are seen, supported, and inspired.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
Well, podcasting is awesome; I've listened to podcasts for years. I started to podcast because I wanted to have a creative outlet, work on my skills as a speaker, create a positive impact in the world, and record my voice and inspiring messages that my kids, when they grow up, could tune in to listen where and whenever.
Initial goals were personal, and when you start a podcast there is not a lot of immediate feedback. It's a long game. Now we are a community, and so my goals are not just about my own growth and opportunities, but about how I can create and serve with what I've learned.
I launched my podcast on July 20, 2022. Good day. It was initially called Delicious EASE (the name of my company and my goal for everyone - to live with delicious ease). We had a podcast rebrand and are now Intuitive Wisdom.
I wanted to start a podcast for years. When I finally got serious and circled a launch date on the calendar, it took me 3 months to learn, create, and get up to speed.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I release episodes weekly. It takes me 1-2 hours/week to produce an episode.
I break the production process into smaller pieces and don't do it all in one day. For example, one day I will sketch out an idea or send a guest an invitation. A second day I will record; a third day I will edit and create the promotional material, and the fourth day I will schedule everything to release.
I currently fund the podcast myself. I spend about $500/year on software. That doesn't include my website or my time.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I do not currently take sponsorships. I am open to creating those relationships in the future.
Podcasting is a wonderful platform to support others and to create connections. It has also helped me build my confidence and taught me a lot about a new (to me) industry.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
I have a yeti microphone and edit my episodes in garage band. I upload to auphonic for sound clean up and then currently host on buzzsprout. Now that I have been podcasting for years, I receive pitches regularly. I often still cold pitch guests by listening to other podcasts they have been on or when I come across their work.
I interview guests remotely via zoom.
► How do you market your show?
I publish my podcast on all the platforms I can (apple, spotify, youtube, etc). I create a blog post, email newsletter, and social media posts for each episode.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Start! Don't wait, and don't worry about being perfect. It's good to be human.
Listen to other podcasts you enjoy and get a sense of their rhythm or segments. Start with what you like, and remember you always have the power to pivot.
