► Tell us about you and your podcast
An elementary school teacher, turned entrepreneur on a mission to live a life with impact and one that aligns with my truth.
We're all on our own unique journeys, constantly learning and growing, yet we're all striving for the same thing: striving to be the best version of ourselves and trying to find our magic to give to the world. Through real chats with real people who have made changes in their lives, overcome adversity or have found their way, we dive in, and we go deep.
Mostly millennials and gen z, people wanting to become the best version of themselves and who like to learn from others, be inspired and grow.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I listen to many podcasts myself, and I love to learn. I started mine since I love to have deep, meaningful conversations, and why not share this value with the world?
Initially, it was a passion project, and to be quite frank, it still is. I am always looking to grow as a human being, and this journey has been a massive growth for me. I have learned, been inspired and been grounded from my guests.
I started in April 2021.
It took me about 2 weeks to release my first episode.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I started with weekly episodes, but honestly as an entrepreneur involved in 3+ companies, it became too tough, so I switch to bi-weekly. I may close off soon as season 1, and take a little break and then create seasons so that it's all done in batches.
I do batch create, but it is still tough. Being an entrepreneur, I am fortunate to make my own schedule, so that is helpful.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I am currently looking for sponsors that align with my ethos and values, but I have not succeeded yet!
Podcasting benefits me in terms of learning from other human beings, all on their own paths in life. Equally as important, knowing that my listeners gain confidence, self-acceptance, motivation and inspiration from my episodes means the world to me.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
I find guests via connections I've made (friends, IG community, Clubhouse community, Facebook groups)
I do my research, come up with a list of questions and send to my guest to give them a little heads up, but often my interviews go on beautiful tangents.
Zoom.
► How do you market your show?
I use IG, Facebook groups, and word of mouth.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
It's a lot of work!! Before starting, I would start by listening to a few podcasts you love and see what they're doing that you like. Try to apply 2-3 aspects of that to your show.
