► Tell us about you and your podcast
From my past humanitarian experience in war zones to being an executive in the pharmaceutical industry for more than a decade now, I have experienced myself and applied as a leader, what genuine care is in different cultures and settings. My leadership journey along with my beliefs led me to launch a movement I call “Spread Love in Organizations”. This movement spread out with this podcast launched in April 2021 where we bring thinkers, leaders, executives in healthcare for them to share how leading from a place of love delivered exceptional results in their organizations, and had a positive impact in the world.
My listeners are leaders who want to be inspired by other leaders and practitioners leading differently in today's world.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
Because I believe we can change the world by leading from a place of love, one story at a time, I launched this podcast in April 2021. Being a “loving” leader and building this culture consistently and across countries drove results and impact, while most importantly bringing humanity to work. Since the moment we started we got traction and from our initial intent of having a monthly show, we immediately pivoted to a weekly podcast as there are so many stories worth telling and sharing with the world!
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
Our podcast is weekly and is totally a passion done on top of our full time jobs with my partner who edits the episodes. It is our belief in leadership that drove us to do the show and find time in the evenings and weekends to make it happen weekly. We funded our podcast ourselves to start, then MIT Sandbox Fund (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) invested in us during 2 semesters. We are also proud partners of ESCP Business School with their Specialized healthcare management Masters.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
Nothing other than chatting and showcasing incredibly successful leaders and thinkers. All we want is people to be inspired and hopefully lead from a place of love as this will have a tremendous ripple effect on their people, employees, teams, and communities.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
We record episodes virtually through Zoom, edit on garage band and then publish on our platform SpreadLoveio.com. Obviously each episode takes preparation before and then work after to publish and promote it.
► How do you market your show?
We market our show mainly over LinkedIn.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
If you're passionate about a topic, get started! The key in any content initiative is consistency and discipline. There are ups and downs but receiving feedbacks and emails thanking you for what you do or hearing people talking about your show is incredibly satisfying and makes all the doubt and pain worth it... Even if you only have a couple of listeners, those are already people you inspired, helped, impacted, put a smile on their face...
