► Tell us about you and your podcast
My podcast is about different styles of leadership, how the principles apply to organizational culture as well as the individual's lifestyle and success.
My listeners are millenial aged adults who often work in middle management and are looking for advice on self-improvement, mental health, and range from US, France and Germany as some of the top countries.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I am an avid podcast fan and started the podcast to get my story out but also to connect with other people who have insight and advice that is relevant to personal and professional transformation.
My goals are to learn more at the onset and now it is to share the information I learn as I'm learning it.
I started my podcast in February of 2020.
It took me 4 months to release my episode as I was researching since Novemeber of 2019 before taking the plunge.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I currently release episodes weekly but I started out bi-weekly. I actually have two podcasts and working on a third.
I am a full time student but always prioritize my time and work on the podcast any free moment or make time.
I fund the podcast myself and spend about $200 per month to produce, edit and market it.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I currently am looking for sponsors and to get the podcast monetized further.
I have an average of 3000 downloads per month as of November.
Podcasting benefits me with my school, as I'm studying organizational leadership, my relationships and my own mental health.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
My podcasting process is using adobe audition to edit, zoom to record the episodes, and libsyn as the hosting website.
I edit all of the audio myself down to picking the intro snippet
I inteverview guests via Zoom and record them to distribute later.
► How do you market your show?
I market my show by manually requesting podcast add submissions, searching out obscure platforms, social media posts, youtube, and blog sites.
I find Pinterest, spotify, Vurbl and apple the most useful to my success.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Podcasting takes a lot of dedication and consistency and research.
I wrote a book titled "Building Influence Through Digital Distribution: Those Who Desire To Establish Themselves As An Organized Authority In The Realms Of Podcast Marketing And Influence" which has all the helpful tips I learned.
