Coleen is a compassionate, empathetic and boldly authentic human being but she wasn’t always this way. Like many, she’s been plagued by her own self defeating thoughts - some of them she’s carried for over four decades! Through her own journey of self discovery, spiritual exploration and personal crisis she managed to transform her life into the most unimaginable source of joy.
Today, Coleen is a Joyologist. She provides mindset and nutrition coaching as well as personal training to people who feel stuck and want to reclaim joy in their life. She started The Joy Unleashed show as a way to ignite a powerful movement that inspires and empowers people to reclaim the boundless joy that often feels lacking. We are committed to equipping our community with the tools, resources, and connections they need to unlock their fullest potential and advance every aspect of their lives.

Our listeners are 65% women between ages 35-64.
 

Our goal is to cascade our message that aligns to our core values of joy, positivity, empathy, authenticity, compassion, kindness and grace as broad and as wide as possible and in a judgement free zone. Every human deserves the chance to experience joy in the smallest of moments and transform their lives into their purpose. Our first episode was released on August 8, 2023. In January 2024, and due to popular demand, we began releasing 2x per week. It took approximately 3 weeks to get our first episode recorded and produced because I do all of my own production.
 

Since Aug 2023 we have released one episode per week on Tuesdays. In January 2024 we will release a 2nd episode on Fridays. I fund this podcast myself and do all of my own production.
 

I do have show sponsors, yes. My show as of January 2024 has 9000 viewers per week (it is a TV show too). Podcasting has enabled me to get my message out there in platforms and arenas that I wouldn't otherwise be able to reach and it has connected me to some of the greatest humans alive.
 

I use a lot of tools - Canva, Streamyard, wave.video, iMovie, Captivate and I am sure I am forgetting some. I find guests through the power of referrals and networking. I have to have a connection with my guests in order to remain my full authentic self during the show. In some cases I also appear on their shows because we have such a great connection.

I do a lot of research on my guests but not too much preparing as I want the conversation to authentically flow. One thing I always want to create space for is their personal story. Everyone has a story to tell, and it's not really about the work the guest does, but WHO the guest IS that matters to me.

I started with StreamYard but the network moved us over to Wave.video so that's our platform now.
 

I can be found on YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, iTunes, Spotify, iheart, Apple podcasts and lots of other networks. I also broadcast my episode across my social media feeds.
 

My story really resonated and has been the catalyst for lots of humans to take their first courageous step toward their fullest potential.
