► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I started my podcast a few years ago straight from my bedroom. I was frustrated when my social platforms with thousands of followers began to get shadowbanned and censored. I recorded a 10-minute intro, venting about the community guidelines I kept violating for showing my collarbone, and within a few weeks, I had a top charting podcast. Once I built the courage to record my first episode, I slowly built the courage, episode by episode, to be more honest about my life in the adult industry. Once I felt the feedback from my listeners, I realized how important and necessary this podcast was.

► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
As a serial entrepreneur, I am consistantly working towards different goals and projects. I had no recording schedule, but whenever I had an hour, or even in the car driving home, I would hit record on my phone, or on the mic in my now office. The more energy I gave the podcast, the more it grew. Not having enough time is an excuse. It's about making your dreams a priority and being smart about where you can carve out time. It's amazing how much more time you have when you turn off your phone and TV, eliminate all distractions. It's incredibly affordable to start a podcast. I used my phone to record, iMovie to edit (free), and hosted with Buzz Sprout on their free plan. Youtube videos gave me clear instructions how to set this all up. Once I began confident enough to truly promote my podcast, I shared on my socials, and continue to thrive on raw, organic traffic. Just like all my businesses, they are self-funded with zero investors.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I now accept sponsorships. Being a sex positive show, its incredibly surprising how many sponsors will not work with you. Which gives me all the motivation to work even harder. My first collaboration was with a fertility company where women can sell their eggs. My show receives roughly 10k downloads per episode, 50k downloads monthly, and coming up onto 1 million downloads to date. My new host, RedCircle, offers sponsorship plans, otherwise I negotiate with potential collaborators via email at admin@slutrepreneur.com.
Podcasting benefits my mental health. It feels like I am getting so much off my chest, sort of like a diary. I feel a sense of relief and endorphins after every episode. I have nothing to hide and no one can ever use anything against me if I have already called myself out. Furthermore, it's still hard for me to digest that I am impacting my listener's lives in monumental ways. I receive messages that reveal single moms getting out of a rough spot, or college girls paying off their loans, the list goes on. I no longer feel the pressure of having to keep my listeners happy, because I know when I am my authentic self, they will continue to stay uplifted by my show.

► How does your podcasting process look like?
My podcast stays fairly simple. I use a Yeti Mic connected to my Macbook. I record through Zencaster and upload to Redcircle. I interview guests seamlessly through Zencaster. I research my guest for half an hour before the interview and jot down 5-10 questions to reference. I have learned that my best episodes are spur of the moment and unscripted. I have no real schedule, otherwise, it makes me really anxious when I record. I have to be in the right headspace. The most professional thing about the show is the intro and outro music (lol.)
► How do you market your show?
My show is available wherever podcasts are played. 80% come from apple podcasts. I use my Instagram and TikTok to promote the show. I find that TikTok has been the highest engaging platform due to its healthy algorithm to promote all of my businesses.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Stop overthinking. Just do it. It's one day or day one.
Google everything. Find free resources on youtube. It's so simple my 12 year old niece could do it, and probably better than me lol.
