► Tell us about you and your podcast
Leaders in tech are burning out at an absurd rate. Relationships are blowing up. Loved ones think you love your phone or laptop more than you love them. Your health is a ticking time-bomb. You can't be an amazing leader, build a high-performing team, and make a great impact if you’re ending up in the ER… or worse. Enter Ctrl+Alt+Delete with Lisa Duerre, a no-BS conversation from a female executive who spent over 25 years in Silicon Valley. Lisa gives you a front-row seat to escape burnout, reboot your career, and integrate work with life.
Our listeners are mid-level to C-suite tech leaders and our content is interviews with top leadership, wellbeing, integration, and subject matter experts with real experience in tech and leadership.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
We started Ctrl+Alt+Delete with Lisa Duerre as a virtual table for more amazing voices to speak into the real challenges and opportunities leaders in tech face every day. It was an intentional conduit of interest that we knew we could start leveraging into interest in our coaching and consulting services. We started our podcast about a year or so ago.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
We currently release an episode every week, but we are moving to publishing a new episode every other week. We are currently working with Captivate.ai to outsource all of our podcasting production needs.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
We don't currently offer sponsorship opportunities at this time, but we expect that to change in the near future. Ctrl+Alt+Delete with Lisa Duerre isn't even about Lisa or RLD Group. It's about creating a conversation space for amazing guests to share what leaders in tech truly need to hear. We just happen to be the ones facilitating the conversation.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
We do our podcast interviews via Zoom. Our AVL setup is tested ahead of time, along with our guest's setup, to ensure we have good quality audio and video for our audience to enjoy. We have a strategic cultivation process for finding our guests that includes visiting their websites, connecting with guests beforehand, an application process, and a pre-interview prep process on our end.
► How do you market your show?
We have an podcast marketing partnership with Captivate.ai along with a social media distribution firm Detailed PDX who helps us curate segments of our podcast content across all platforms. Our highest engaging platform is LinkedIn followed by our email subscriber list.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
1. Have an amazing clear message that connects with your audience on a profound level. Our work developing our message was one of the best investments we have ever made.
2. Create space for honest conversations that focus on the expertise of your guests, not on your interview questions. Make the interview all about how your guest is providing insight and wisdom for your audience (and you) to enjoy. You get to sit in the front row and ask all the questions your audience may be wanting to ask themselves.
