► Tell us about you and your podcast
Aaron, Gabbi and Ward co-host the Cornfield, Wisconsin podcast. We decided to start the podcast to have a fun time telling people stories and information about Wisconsin.
Welcome to the Cornfield! This is where the cheese is squeaky and the milk is cold. Join us for a wild adventure of everything that throws us into random tangents. We will be covering any state we please in our NASAHV (North American Stay At Home Vacation) topics every other week. Please join us for fun facts about our great dairy state and creepy cryptids that spark our interest. Thanks for joining and have a great eve-after-morning!
We have a wide range of listeners that span multiple countries.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I listened to podcasts for a while before I had the idea to start one. We wanted something fun to do on a Friday night.
Our initial goals for this was to have fun while we told people stories and information about urban legends and cryptids.
We started it in March of 2020.
We released our first episode within a week of coming up with the idea.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
We release an episode every Friday and it takes a few days to write up notes for the episode.
We all have things that we do during the day, you just have to find the time if it is important to you.
We fund it ourselves. We spend around 50 dollars a month for our endeavors.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
We are open for sponsorship but currently do not have any.
We benefit from podcasting by keeping us occupied and having fun while doing it.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
We use GarageBand for recording and editing. A blueyeti mic for the recording. We prepare for the episode just you would expect. Read over them and double check things.
► How do you market your show?
Our listener base is 80% iTunes and 20% miscellaneous. We market on Facebook, Instagram, and our website.

► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Do your research and don’t waste needless money. Don’t expect returns right away on the investment and just have fun.
