► Tell us about you and your podcast
Hello, my name is Angela DiLeone and I have Beauty Inside & Out. I have 30 years in the beauty business, so my listeners are a little bit of everyone. I like to speak about anything beauty related and anything that helps the inside feel beautiful. I do interviews as well as tips and tricks.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
Being in the beauty business for 30 years I had a lot of people ask me questions and about things I have done that were interesting. So I figured why not have a podcast to share with the world good tips and tricks as well as to make people feel good about listening. I also like to help other businesses grow through sharing our experiences.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
It’s hard. But I at least try to do this once a week and try not to put pressure on myself about getting content released.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I have not thought about sponsorship or anything as of now, maybe in the future. This benefits my career by building a following.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
I use Audacity and a yeti, pretty simple. I usually meet a lot of people on a day-to-day basis, so I ask them if they’re interested in being a guest. And then I have a lot of people that get in contact with me. I always do my interviews via speakerphone.
► How do you market your show?
I’m on iTunes, Google plus, stick chair, and usually publicize on Instagram and Facebook.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Definitely learned through writing lots of blogs and information. I have learned that the more like yourself you are, the less editing you will need to do and you will sound very good.
