She is the co-founder of Cooking on Purpose Health, a virtual direct-care preventive and obesity medicine practice. She also serves as chief clinical strategist at GoInvo, a healthcare design agency. Dr. Nettey completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine where she also met her husband, and they have a 5 year old daughter. She believes that food is medicine and is the foundation of a healthy life. Dr. Antoinette Williams MD, MSPH, works as a board certified General Public Health and Preventive Medicine physician. She is a native of St. Louis MO where she learned the importance of community and is also a proud wife and mother. She is co-founder of Cooking on Purpose Health a virtual preventive and obesity medicine practice with a lifestyle medicine focus. She also serves Veterans as a Medical Examiner and works in Primary Care as well.  She attended Morehouse School of Medicine and trained at both Rutgers University and Meharry Medical College. In the episode, Dr. Nettey and Dr. Williams discuss whether or not weight loss is the best goal for everyone, when weight loss mediations are the right intervention, what they’ve changed their mind about over the years…and more!
