I started this podcast for the same reasons I started my business. On the personal coaching side, so many people in this world have lost touch with themselves, depression his a massive high because the world shifted and we weren't prepared for the shift. The pandemic changed the entire world and with it we lost our ability to cope, and their abilities to think their way through trying situations. We are so focused on making money that we forget that we, ourselves, have to have the right mindset in order to be successful at it. Your gifts will get you through the door but your character will keep you there. So, I want to help individuals perfect their character so they can walk through any door and shine when they get there. For businesses, the world has gotten so rude. Managers, customer service, and owners. My purpose is to teach business 1) the art of customer service and the importance of having the right management because the 'oil' drips from the head down. What's pooling at the bottom is a reflection of something spilling from the top. So I teach businesses how to craft a compelling vision for their business and ensure each department measures up to it. If your business vision states excellence in customer service, you are doing your business a disservice by offering anything but. So part of my podcast is devoted to such.
For me, it was a way to get my message out and be comfortable doing it. I listened to a lot of podcasts on youtube and one day I said you know what - let's do it. I created my cover photo, recorded my first podcast and set the launch date. We are releasing episode 4 today November 1st so we've been at it for about a month now.

The time was the easy part. We control that so it was just a matter of setting a launch date so I couldn't back out of it and I started on Youtube because it's free. Then, I found RSS.com and realized I could launch from there and my podcast would be on many different platforms.
Luckily for me, I don't spend much for podcasting because I already had the programs for my business like canva and wondershare filmora. I am also a graphic artist so I design everything myself and edit.

A few things: 1) Self-confidence in understanding that I have a voice and I have something to share with the world. 2) Overcoming my fear of rejection - releasing a podcast opens yourself up to many different opinions so being comfortable opening who I am up to the world is a plus for me. 3) Being able to help others. My entire life has been devoted to helping others. I'm not going to stop now. So this podcast is more for others to get the assistance they need. God is just using my voice to do it.

I haven't tapped into the interviews yet. I really don't have a large audience and I'm still getting comfortable with doing it so right now, it's just me. As far as the tools/services I use, as stated before mainly Canva and Wondershare Filmora. Filmora is an editing program so I use that to record the podcast and then edit it.
For my podcast, I use life to prepare for each episode. Social media will teach you a lot if you pay attention. My first episode was your focus needs focus which dealt with learning to hone in on the smaller details in order to achieve the big picture. This came from seeing so many people unfocused, just wandering without a vision. So it deals with the importance of a vision. Then I write. I also use the assistance of chatgpt to assist when I'm stuck on what I want to say but do not know quite how. So I write it out and then record it.

My show is on rss.com, apple podcasts, listen note, youtube, spotify, I think for rigght down. I really don't have a large audience. I am really just learning marketing and how to get my podcast out to the world. But I do use my facebook page and tiktok. I am getting into using instagram more so that I can promote their as well. I'm really trying to develop a community of individuals who want to grow and elevate together. Teach each other and learn from each other and really alter the way we think as a whole. I want to create visionaries.

I'm still beginning but my suggestion would be nothing beats a fail but a try. You will never know what you are capable of until you do it. Just do it. Sit down and map out what you want it to be about and be authentic. Do not try to mirror anyone else's podcast. Just be you. Think about what you want to accomplish with your podcast and map it out. Write the vision and make it plain and just do it.
