We are ChangemakerZ, a student-run initiative that aims to empower, educate and connect GenZers interested in entrepreneurship.

We know that COVID 19 lockdown period was an extremely difficult period for everyone. This period, students were thinking that studying and reading are equal (which are not in reality). This is why, we decided to expand our means and to create a podcast series in order to share our mission through a different perspective.

The production process for the first episode started in November 2020 and to was released in January 2021. Officialy the podcast was released the 12th of January 2021 after 3 months of production and preparation.
 

The GenZers to rise! Podcast is releasing a new episode every single week when we are in an active period. This means that when we are in a specific season, we continue to release weekly episodes. Once the season is completed, it may take some months for us to redesign the whole show based on user's behaviour analysis and listeners feedback. We re brand everything starting from the design to subjects that we cover on the show.

To produce a single podcast episode it takes 2 days from recording to publishing in our streaming providers, third party operators and our very own website.

All the podcast team members are students at college or university which makes their time schedule very strict limited. Rather than that, the creation of a new episode is the way to do something special for ourselves and the community that we serve.

The GenZers to rise! Podcast is a Vasilis Skarleas production. Vasilis Skarleas as CTO at the ChangemakerZ team and owner of Vasilis Skarleas Media, he produces and fund the podcast on himself. Any income from advertising sources goes directly to website and IT systems maintenance.
 

The GenZers to rise! Podcast is part of ChangemakerZ Media. Both ChangemakerZ and podcast directory are open to any type of partnerships, advertising campaigns and promotional content always related to our media and mission. The podcast specifically runs under the Anchor by Spotify which sponsors this podcasts during specific period of times. From that sponsorship the GenZers to rise! podcast has gained 130$, enough for website maintenance and software purchases required for the show.

The very first sponsorship came directly from Anchor Money program and that time we had 80 total listens. Today we have more than 6k listens coming from 118 different countries. Per month we receive 113 listens and the podcast nowadays is part of other advertising programs like the Podcorn an Audacy company.

Podcasting for the whole hosts, guests and interviews team is a creative activity that help us to stay positive. Every time we have a recording and the time of the day that we are having fun, hanging out with friends from 3 different time zones and meeting new inspiring people and entrepreneurs. We learn how to stay organised and we gain motivation from our guests and listeners feedback.
 

The GenZers to rise! Podcast is available in more than 50 different streaming platforms and part of the very first podcasters app that is called Audry. We receive many emails from people with impactful projects and our team decides if they are eligible for a podcast episode or a written interview. Sometimes, we search through Audry database to find other podcasts related to our mission so that we can find new guests. For every episode, we require from the guests to share their CV or website so that our team can prepare questions. Then we send the questions in advance in order to receive feedback for the flow of the episode and its content. When the recording date has been scheduled, we are using Zencastr to record video and audio for our podcast show. Once the recording is completed, we are moving to the post-production process where we add all the required elements and we edit the overall flow. Final step is to analyse and encode the whole episode with AI tools used by music industry to ensure the best audio quality and user experience.
 

The podcast team members are located in many different regions and time zones, starting from Greece, going to Chicago and endind to San Jose. This is multi-cultural team with connected mind sets and with one common goal: Make everyone to believe that their dream is possible and being inspired from other changemakers. We are also featured to other podcasts sharing our mission.

On this podcast we are commited to bring high-quality and exclusive content from end-to-end. We have interviewd great names like the Bykov Brothers, the YouTuber Max Reisinger with more than 400K subscriber, the YouTube artist Gawxs with more than 1.69M subscriber, the CEO of Australia's first audio marketing agency, the entrepreneur - activist - youngest CEO of UK Jenk Oz, and many more inspiring people.
