Robin Simone Givens (born November 27, 1964) is an American model and actress. She is also a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College.Givens landed her breakthrough role of Darlene Merriman in the ABC sitcom Head of the Class in 1986, and remained on the series for its 5-year duration. Her troubled marriage to boxer Mike Tyson from 1988 drew considerable media attention, as did their acrimonious divorce.
