Our listeners are primarily female and are between 23 and 34 years old.
 

We podcast as a hobby and we typically listen to financial podcast.

Our motivation comes from a conversation with our buddy about his dating life and the fact that he isn't the only one going through the same issues. We wanted to be a voice for the people still figuring it out.

Out first episode aired 10/27/2020.

I think it took us about a week.
 

We usually record after work and use the free tools we have access too.

We usually release 2 - 3 episodes a month and usually takes me a weekend to produce everything.

Just after work when we are free.

It's self funded and we probably spend about 4 hours per episode (hosting, editing, marketing, etc.)
 

We gain a sense of release and it's entertaining.

We don't have sponsorships at the moment.

Podcasting has benefited us by strengthening friendships and learning about new things.
 

We use a podcast studio in a local work-space to record. I edit everything in Logic Pro then process it though auphonic.com.

Our guests are usually friends of ours or acquaintances so we have direct access to new guests to interview.

We prep using a Note in our phones with our outline and fill in questions.

We interview our guest in person.
 

We market our show on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Google.

Our listeners come from social media and through word of mouth.

Word of mount is our most useful marketing channel.
 

I would say don't give up because the key is persistence.

I have learned a lot about what it take to produce, market etc a product like a podcast.

Google and youtube are your best resources.
