Stephen Paul Barclay (born 3 May 1972) is a British politician serving as Downing Street Chief of Staff since 2022 and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for the Cabinet Office since 2021. Barclay previously served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 2020 to 2021 and as Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union from 2018 to 2020. A member of the Conservative Party, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for North East Cambridgeshire since 2010.
