phil lyman is an American politician from Utah who currently represents district 73 (Blanding) in the Utah House of Representatives. By profession he is a Certified Public Accountant. He comes from a Mormon ranching family that settled in Blanding, Utah in 1905.As a San Juan County Commissioner, in 2014 Lyman led a protest ride of about 50 ATVs through Recapture Canyon, the site of native American cliff dwellings, which was closed to motor vehicles.
