► Tell us about you and your podcast
Punch The Timeline started as a podcast to introduce a Marvel Comics fan to the DC Universe. The show evolved into an ongoing show about comics old and new from any company.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
The show started because of a moment of inspiration during a conversation about comics at work. Jarrod said “You realize we’re doing a podcast right now?”

► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
Finding time to record is the toughest part of doing a podcast, especially during a pandemic. We try to get together via Google Meet and record. Usually the conversation after the show is longer than the recorded episode. The funding wasn’t a big deal because Jarrod has had podcasting equipment since 2007.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
The show doesn’t make any money yet, but it has given us the chance to interact with people all over the world. Podcasting/Comic book Twitter is an awesome community to be a part of.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
We record via Google Meet through a Zoom recorder and edit with GarageBand. Each episode is loosely outlined, and then we go with the flow.
► How do you market your show?
We’re available on all podcasting platforms, but when it comes to promoting, Twitter is where it’s at.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Don’t sweat the details. Just get started and adjust as you go. And have fun. Don’t make this a job, make it a passion.
