I came across podcasting while I was navigating some basic features in my wordpress premium account.

Since then,I have developed passion for it. With time,I knew I was going to build a career out of it. I decided to sharpen my skills and personally develop my self inorder to be on top of my game. The name of my talkshow is Life well lived by Omobola Stephen and you can find it on this major distribution platform.

Podcasting is a flexible and inexpensive medium of communicating to audiences all over the world. This gave rise to why I decided to focus on it and also maximize its advantages to the best of my ability. Daily,I  listen to close to 10 podcasting shows on various podcasting platforms majorly on Spreaker, Listen notes, iHeartradio, googlepodcast,and on castbox.

For me,I had always looked forward to sharing my life experiences(good/bad/foibles) to people via the print medium. I realised it didn't work out for me,. I tried the traditional method of broad asting,it was rather expensive and it couldn't fit it into my schedule so when I came across podcasting,I knew it was a great opportunity to seize and maximize.

I began my podcast career in November,2019. It didn't take me long to put my podcast out there. This is because I started out initially via the app. It was very flexible and convenient.

I release episodes regularly. Let's say 6 out of 10. And it takes me between 20 -30 minutes for producing an episode.

Really, most of my jobs are remotely-operated and online. Though it could be demanding especially when I have to meet project deadlines and juggling between work,career and homefront. What readily comes to mind for me is to balance my conflicting priorities and with this,I'm able to do my podcast at any time within the week when I'm mentally balanced. This is very key for me.

Podcasting is affordable no matter how you see it.

Presently,I will be glad to take on sponsorship and also share revenue where necessary.

For me,podcasting has been one of fulfillment and pride as it has increased my fanbase. I have been able to develop healthy relationships as a result and it has been a major boost in my career.

Tools for my podcast shows are Microphone,Headphones,Skype account,recording software-Spreaker audio and my hosting account is Spreaker.

Presently,I do not invite guests on the show.

Preparation of my podcast begins with planning for the goal ahead. Choose a topic,research extensively on it before discussion. Ensuring a safe,quiet enviroment free from distractions and tools in good working condition.

Basically my show is found by listeners through major podcast distribution and listening platforms like itunes, iheartradio, listennotes, Jiosaavn, googlepodcast etc. and on twitter, FB, google search, Soundcloud and Youtube.

I find Ad campaigns and podcast listening platforms a veritable Avenue .

You must have it in your consciousness that you are unique and so is your podcast. Inorderwords,be yourself and do your thing.Also keep on improving yourself and maximize feedbacks to your own advantage.
